Beginnings

Born into a primitive village on Cathar, Asiir's father was hardly the norm when it came to the Cathar tendency to mate for life. A cruel man, Asiir's father used his many mates, and many children, to bolster his own ambitions. Many were trained to fight, but Asiir was neither the strongest nor the fastest of his siblings. For a time, Asiir had feared that death at his father's hand, or worse, would be his fate. Finally, when sneaking around in the village, chance would have it that Asiir stumbled upon an old computer terminal. His natural gifts for understanding computer-tech were discovered by his father, and thus was Asiir's usefulness. Every waking hour Asiir was forced to work with the expanding tech of his father's little home brewed mafia, learning how he could use the tech to combat nearby villages.

Eventually, Asiir's elder sister Nadia Cuul returned to the village after escaping the slaver's chains that their father had sold her into. After offering to take her siblings with her on her starship, Asiir and Nivyn were the only ones to agree, leaving behind their kin and thus far never returning to Cathar.

Nar Shaddaa

When Nadia brought Asiir to Nar Shaddaa, it was an eye opening experience. He had never seen something so big, cities so "grand", or so many different species. Working as a smuggling team aboard the Ebon Hawk, Nadia took on whatever jobs were the most profitable, be it slaves, spice, or various other illegal goods. Nivyn served the crew as the ship's mechanic, while Asiir operated computer and comm systems. They had a good thing going. They worked well together and were making a lot of money. All good things aren't meant to last, however, and soon enough Nadia and Nivyn disappeared, leaving Asiir to his own devices.

He took over the Explorer's Guild, for a time, after meeting Vakorba and Mujiji. The three of them ran the guild, and saw its numbers grow, until one day Asiir was left stranded while scouting a potential site off world. Not heard from for a few months, Asiir finally managed to get a message out to Vakorba and Mujiji. The two came to rescue him, and he returned to Nar Shaddaa. He has bounced around a little since his return, but it seems like things are finally panning back out. Time will tell.
