Flex'ka Vana

Once upon a time, Flex'ka was a young Shi'ido male, seeking solitude over anything, to try and distinguish the voice in his head. It would tell him to do things, and once such thing was to seek out an Imperial scouting party that had landed some ways outside of his home town. The party had fallen victim to the vicious predators the planet was home to, and using the Shi'ido's innate ability to shapeshift, Flex climbed aboard their vessel impersonating the officer in charge and left Lao-mon behind forever.

Given the constant impersonation, the double life that Flex'ka Vana has lived, he hasn't thought of his home in at least half a century. Too much has happened to linger in the past, the voices have always guided him forward. Of course, memory may fade, but hobbies last a lifetime, with sufficient interest. Being a loner, and a strategist, Flex tends to play holochess against AI when he has a moment. Of course, with the voices growing more insistent as he nears the teachings of the Sith, that all falls by the wayside.

By Shi'ido standards, Flex'ka is only just coming into adulthood. By Galactic standards, he's been part of the Imperial Navy since a very young age, and has remained in that system throughout the move to the First Order. As a naval officer, he was part of the chosen few to join together in the Unknown Regions, and has stayed there until after the disastrous Battle of Exegol. Now, guided by the voices in his head, he's ready to expand on his minor forays into Force usage.

Presently, Flex'ka is split between learning about the Force and serving in the Navy. Sometimes he'll still think of it as the Imperial navy, but the fact is that the First Order is what they're going by, now. Of late, the call to the Dark Side has taken precedence, and that manifests itself in the frequent trips to hallowed Sith locations in order to learn.

Flex'ka values loyalty over all. He would know, having followed the voice of the Dark Side all his life without even knowing all that much about the Force. It was only at the return of the Emperor that he realized the voices and the improbable resurrection that followed three decades later were connected, steering him away from holochess and into research, taking a select few on journeys to find locations brimming with Dark Side energy, infusing him with knowledge, and guidance to where he needs to be.
