G.A. R-40 Stun Net

The Golan Arms Stun Net Launcher originated in the days of the Republic and saw its greatest years in the use of primarily Scientific research during the major exploration period. Since that time these tools have been adapted for less admirable applications. Big-game hunters use theme to capture trophy animals without marring their pelts. Slavers and kidnappers use them to capture sentient targets--uninjured, so as to not reduce their market value-while bounty hunters often carry one for those bounties that ask for 'live captures'. The RL-40 is a mostly unimpressive design. Its a large round barrel that has a wide projectile opening. The barrel leads back and curves slowly down into the handle. The weapon would look mostly curvy if it weren't for the very large 'box' that is attached beneath the barrel where the stun net cartridge is loaded. The pistol is very heavy and has a remote control that comes with it for operation of the stun net by the user.
