The group finally steps onto Drik, in search of rebels and doing recon

A ship had been rented out for the rag-tag group of people that seek out a small planet in the space of nowhere, a planet called Drik. It isn't much bigger than a tin can, with all people on board, and the trip was easy with little disruption, until it came to entering the planets system. There, the little ship had to go through some barricade but eventually made it through. From there the ship would of made it down to the planet, directed to a landing area.

One landed, one would see the world, the planet Drik, from any windows. It's a lush green planet, and the buildings seem to be mixed with nature. Though there is ware, as if the locals didn't take such care to things had they had before. Rubble from battles of the past lays about, some buildings are half destroyed and left as they are. When the hatch is lowered, it'd open to the smell of engines, which cancels out the would be sweet smell of fresh earth. Least the sun is shining down.. which dulls the chatter from passer bys.

Oriana is the first to head to the hatch, looking out into her home. Before stepping down onto the planet she'd stop, looking over everything. It was an emotional ride, emotions she didn't show till now. All that's showing is her eyes, she isn't wearing her typical clothing. A pair of pants, top, with a cloak over it, a hood up and her face wrapped so nobody can see who she is. It's those big brown eyes that betray all she feels, the joy the pain the broken heart. They well up with tears, she turns away while looking down, sniffling some and trying to control her emotions. Trying to face the guilt she has carried with her. The hand on the hatch opening grips it, turning white with running emotions.

Sajin quietly steps up behind Oriana and places a hand on her back as she gets a bit emotional over her return to her home planet. His hazel eyes looks out and glance about where they landed beaking out from the Baklava he's decided to wear because that was normal right? He has those goggles on so it makes sense for him in a way. He wears his normal stuff, the leather jacket, breeches, and a shirt. Gunbelt and all the weapons to boot... just incase.

Tylin hold back, the hood of her outfit pulled up to cover her hair and most of her face. A bag is clutched, her tools of the trade with in it. A shiver now and then as she thinks what awaits them outside the ship. Well more to the point of who waits out there. "Are you sure you need me to go?" Tylin asks, as she still moves towards the hatch.

"Finally!" That's Tarion, coming up from the cargo bay where he's spent the bulk of the journey, wearing a ridiculously large-brimmed hat that rivals any sombrero, a big duster jacket over his armor, which appears to have been spray-painted some sort of primitive green tiger-striped camo. His left sleeve swings vacantly at his side while he surveys the landscape through one eye, the other obscured by an eyepatch. A scraggly beard clings to his chin, while his blaster rifle rides vertically along his left side where an arm might belong. He seems unaffected by the gravity of the moment, striding with padded, canvas-wrapped feet down the gangplank to the ground below. "Place looks like it's seen better days," he remarks, glancing back at the others.

The hand on her back gathers Oriana's attention. It helps her to feel a little more stand. Giving Sajin's arm a squeeze in reply and standing straight up, straightening her clothes she chokes down the emotions and dries her eyes with a gloved hand. Looking to Ty she shakes her head. "No, sweetie you don't. It's up to you on what you do. I just need the radio frequencies monitored. We need to find rebels among the people, and get as much recon as possible. You do that from wherever you feel comfortable." She regards Tarion next. "Well, the planet has been through a lot. If we run into trouble, or get asked questions, we'll need your help don't forget. Anything sly you can toss out.." Well, she may not need to detail this. Checking her weapons and turning, with a deep breath she goes to head out of the ship and step onto the planet, her planet, for the first time since the attacks started.

Sajin glances back at the others and then, standing just a little bit behind Oriana starts to follow her. He is silent, keeping his mouth shut underneith that baklava of his. He scanns the area around them, turning to see if anything interesting tried to come around from the front of the ship before turning back to follow the Drikish Princess.

"I'd feel more comfortable back on Nar Shaddaa," Tylin says as she watches Tarion make his way forward "But I am fine, really. I can help better out there than here." Fine, that's why her hands are shaking, which gets tucked into the opposite sleeves. Why she even has a blaster! Yep, ready as she ever will be.

Luka Krante emerges from the ship after the others. He too was disguised with a large, handle bar fake mustache glued just above his lip. It was an expensive thing, looked real and the spirit gum holding it on would ensure it didn't full off. He just looked kinda ridiculous with a giant rat on his lip. He was armed though, something not usually seen. A sword on his back with the handle of his shoulder and a gun belt with various items about his waist and a blaster on the hip. A bit of a nudge of his hip to Tylin as he comes next to her. "You won't be alone."

Asiir Cuul has been quiet thus far along their trip, the feline sitting alone near the back corner of the ship. His thick mane of hair worked into dreads and fitted with multicolored beads hangs loosely about his face in a swaying curtain. He is wearing his usual set of Wayward armor, the hood thrown back away from his face and as the group makes its way off of the ship, he tightens the grip of his blasters on either hip. He says nothing, walking behind Luka and Tylin.

Down on the planet's surface already, Tarion is strolling about in his over-the-top pirate disguise, trying to get a sense of direction. "Which way is the nearest city? Do they /have/ cities?" Drik might be a different sort of planet than Nar Shaddaa. "I need to get among the peasants, the people of the common cloth, that sort of thing. You know, where we can feed them half-truths and false hope." Hopefully that's why they brought him. Otherwise they'll be disappointed.

They'd walk a little bit, the planet, if not a bit torn apart, is beautiful. A bright sun, lush trees, birds chirping about. Oriana would slow and look over to Tarion. "Yes we have cities. We're in one of the smaller ones. I'm not sure exactly who is left alive for nobility other than myself and my brother." Her tone is quiet, so people don't hear. "There is a market not far from here, I suggest we go there, it's a good place to start." And so she'd turn, and head towards the market, which isn't a very long walk.

The market is a big place, it seems that there is a lot of mash ups of various wares being sold. Even people, who look worn and beat. It's a typical pirate haven, with the smells to match it. Oriana would weave her way in and out of people, keeping her head down. But really nobody is paying much attention to them yet.

Tylin gives Luka a warm smile, and a silent "Thank you," as she steps foot on the planet and follows the others, head down, glances here and there as she walks. She freezes in mid stride as panic takes hold when there is a pirate she has seen before, back on Lok, just feet away but he moves on and an audible sigh of relieve is given. But she is having troubles making her feet move, but she fights it and tries to keep up with the others.

Luka Krante stays by Tylin's side as they make their way into the market, matching her pace and stride... when she stops he nudges her with his side again and murmurs, "You're alright. No one is looking at you... they're looking at this marvelous beast of a mustache I have on."

Asiir paces the others, his eyes scanning around the market with every step as he looks for any sign of danger or those who are looking too closely at the ragtag group. After a few moments, he lifts his left arm to begin swiping idly at his wrist computer.

Not much seems to be out of the norm for any where. It's a typical pirate market. So they would be left to wonder, look around and experience. Things are calm until.. there is a shake, and a building off to the side suddenly explodes! Rubble flies everywhere! Suddenly there are screams and shouting and a group of pirates are running towards the building, some who are hurt are moving away and some scared people - likely the locals, are moving to hide. Plumes of dark smoke rise into the air, Oriana is watching this but doesn't seem some rubble that comes flying her way and smacks her in the shoulder making her stumble back a bit.

"It's them!" Says a pirate who hurries by. The fellow with him is yelling. "GET THEM! KILL THEM!" And for her, she spots a few running away, there is something familiar about them too. Ignoring the pain she goes to push forward to see where they have gone.

Sajin hunches his shoulders forward and leans down a bit, his hand instantly going to the grip on his modified blaster pistol. While he's ducking he turns his head to look towards the building that is now in ruins but he is distracted as Oriana is hit in the shoulder. He streightens himself, still now drawing his weapon yet as he dosn't want any unwanted attention. Moving over to attempt to check up on her she takes off before he can do anything. Turning in her direction, Sajin takes off after her, "Wait!" He says hoping the others can keep up or keep in communication. HE didn't feel any shrapnel hit him so he was sure he was fine for now.

Tylin turns to the explosion, not like those more experienced who would turn away, so she watches a rather large chunk of something coming right at her. It all seems so slow in her minds eye. That is till it hits her, right on her shoulder, spinning her around and causing her to fall. It takes a moment for the pain to register and when it does she cries out. She tries to use the arm to help her get to her feet but it's numb, won't respond, what the hell. So the other is used and she gets to her unsteady feet, trying to go in the direction of the others. Her hood has fallen from her head but right now all she can see is a blur of the others that she is to follow.

When the explosion goes off, rubble sprays in all directions, the shockwave from the blast knocking those too close to the ground outright before the chunks of shrapnel and building material shower down. A long length of plumbing pipe comes flying out and strikes Tarion oblong across the chest, knocking him to the ground and jarring the rodent-on-a-stick he's casually munching to rake along his cheek before his fingers lose their grasp on the greasy spit. "Ah, krif," he groans, writhing on the ground for a moment, his eyes squinted shut, before he pulls himself into a seated position and flips the eyepatch up for a better look. Unfortunately, the smoke and dust obscure the view, and the amateur hunter sees nothing useful.

The shockwave of the explosion must have reached him first to tickle the whiskers of his mustache as a sort of early warning system because he quickly dips and ducks out of the way of the debris and shrapnel or rise up untouched. He turns to check on Tylin and frown, moving over to put a hand on her arm that she isn't propping herself up with and helps pull her to her feet and stead herself. "You alright?" he asks before turning to see where the others are dashing off to

Having been gazing down at his wrist computer, Asiir's attention was fully absorbed in whatever it was he was gazing at, and he barely had time to register a vague sense of foreboding. He stops, moments before the side of that building explodes and his chin has just started to lift when the explosion rocks the area and a stone flies out to collide with his ribs, knocking the Cathar sideways and to the ground. "fffFFFFUCK!" he growls as he forces himself off of the ground enough to get a knee beneath him and then clambers back up toward his feet. His hand leaps for his blaster at the shouts of kill them, his weapon slipping from the holster. His eyes spring about, looking for any attackers heading their way before bothering to look over his companions to see if they are alright.

Oriana is a soldier, a warrior, secondly, but also the future queen of this planet and she isn't about to let some crushing pain to her shoulder stop her. With a bit of a growl, and a motion for the others to follow she hurries along behind the pirates, who dive into the building to get people out and see if the guys are in there. Of course, they ran out and having seen them she heads down a small road, until they reach an end and there is nothing, just a wall. She'd of stopped and frowned, rubbing the back of her head some. "Where the hell did they go!"

Sajin follows Oriana to the dead end and looks around seeing as he had caught a glimps of them as he was chasing after Drik's future queen. Quietly he looks around and instantly starts to feel across the walls of the buildings. "Look for a traped door or a sewer grate or something..." He offers to Oriana as he continues his search.

"I thought, I saw a man brought to life..." Tess has been laid out atop one of the buildings several leagues away from the action with a camoflauged tarp spread out over her to keep her profile hidden from ariel view. "He was warm, he came around and he was dignified..." She makes small adjustments to her scope while the gang gets themselves all hurtified and bunkered downified inside the market. "He showed me what it was to cry..."

The first shot is like the thunder of god ringing out and blows the first pirate against the wall with enough force that his neck snapping would have killed him, if he hadn't just been blown clean in half. "Well, you couldn't be that man I adore... You don't seem to know, seem to care what your heart is for... but I don't know him anymore..."

The second shot trails the second pirate running for cover, ducking down behind something to get out of the field of fire, which does him no good with Addell's punching power. "There's nothing where he used to lie.. the conversation has run dry... that's what's going on..." It hits him right in his chest, through the duracrete barrier. A third is winged by another snap shot, "nothing's fine, I'm torn.."

"My shoulder, Luka," Tylin stammers out as she is thankful for his help. "What, what happened," she asks as she is helped and looks back at the pirates and the building. "Wait, there is something here," and she goes to a spot and opens a panel. "Huh," then with a grin that turns to a grimace as she gets her datapad out and connects it to the control pannel. In no time a hidden door opens "That way," she tells Ori "They went that way."

Luka Krante watches Ty a moment to make sure she is okay.. and then grins when she connects to the control pannel and soon has a hidden door opened. "You install a tracking bug in their software too?" he teases.. and then heads towards the newly revealed door.

"Hurts, hurts, hurts," Tarion mutters, scrabbling forward onto all... threes, before pushing himself to his feet with some difficulty, his eyepatch completely askew, the fake beard hanging by a few strands, and the indentation of a giant piece of pipe in his armor, but the bounty hunter soldiers on, casting around momentarily for the others before spotting them and limping over, holding his side, the barrel of his rifle poking out from under his duster in what might be the longest sentence of the night. "I thought we were here to talk!" he grumps, as the rest of the group seems much too okay with the descent into chaos.

Asiir trots along, his feet carrying him easily along in the wake of his group as they move into the alley and the dead end. His left hand lifts to touch gingerly at his rips, checking for any holes or blood before they step into the alley and he gazes back out of the open mouth to ensure that no pirates are following along in their wake. His top lip is lifted in a snarl, baring sharp fangs as he gazes back to check the open door and then growls his first words of the night, "Let's move then, get in the door and let's get out of the open."

As the door slides open Oriana looks within. It's a old tunnel system, from the looks of it. With lights separated by a fair distance the way in is dim. "Thanks, Ty." She says gently, and looks over her shoulder briefly. "Tess, keep an eye out for any pirates that come our way, and watch their movements see who is their leader if you can, and don't kill unless you -must-." Then he nods to Asiir, and looks to Luka and Ty, and then Tarion. A hand comes up and touches Sajin's arm too. "Let's go see if these are the good guys, one looked familiar anyway." And so she turns to head into the tunnel.

The walk seems a bit long, with a good few twists an turns. A hand is on the wall, to make sure they are going forward.

Meanwhile, after the explosion, a new ground of pirates shows up, all armed. In the market slaves cower, people run aside - the locals, but the pirates begin to explore the area, to get evidence, and being to rough up some locals trying to get information.

Sajin pulls his blaster finally when he hears the rifle blasts form Tess. He looks around, not sure where they're comming from. Though he looks to Ty and Luka as they get the door open and he dives right in with Oriana, a nod as she touches his arm. He keeps the muzzle of his blaster pointed towards the ground for now. "I think it's a little late to tell her that..." He mentions to the banter between her and Tess.

Tess grunts into her comms, "Don't kill unless I must..." Snorting, "Yeah, I'm right ontop of that." Pretty much she's going to kill everything with legs that even remotely flagged hostile.

Which includes live stock.

Into the tunnel Tylin heads, better to the unknown than the Pirates. She will wait for Luka and then go with him into the darkness. A bit to loudly she looks at him "My ears keep ringing," she tells him.

Luka Krante follows the others in to the tunnel and turns his head to the side at a noise... and then Tylin speaks a bit loudly.. He looks to her with a grin, "Then cover your ears..." he says to her, takes in a breath, and starts yelling in Drik. A string of filthy, dirty profanity to announce the arrival of their Queen. Or warn them of their approach. Either way he got to swear loudly.

Bringing up the rear is Tarion, abandoning his epicly wide hat to be ravaged by the pirate invaders and also to fit inside the tunnel. Luka's shouts aren't the snarky, obnoxious option he would have used to give them away, but they're just as effective. "They know we're here now," he mutters, pulling his rifle out and using the strap to kind of just sling it in a firing position without the use of an extra arm. He has none to spare, guys.

Asiir pauses at the entrance of the tunnel as he listens to the banter on the comms. He debates between going back to the mouth of the alley to assist Tess, but in the end shrugs his shoulders and steps into the hidden corridors, closing the door behind him.

Good thing Sajin was wearing those awesome goggles of his. He watches as the power goes haywire and then finally out. Stepping in front of Oriana his blaster now facing fowards he watches and waits for the blaster bolt which hasn't come yet. He keeps quiet, leaving the calling to Luka.

Luka Krante squints his eyes shut at that flash of light and uses the time to take in a deep breath... and decides against continuing. For now. Will wait until they meet face to face. "They don't seem receptive to the tradition Drikish greeting."

When the light flashes, Tarion squeezes his eyelids shut, blinded by the temporary brilliance. Unfortunately, he also squeezes his trigger finger on the blaster rifle he's carting. Fortunately, it's aimed mostly at the wall, and after the bolt bounces once it dissipates into the floor, leaving a scorch mark but otherwise doing no damage. "We're good!" he calls out immediately, suddenly remembering his eyepatch and switching it to the other eye. "Hey Asiir, did you see that? Old pirate trick." Smirk. "You switch eyes in the dark."

Asiir grips his blaster tighter and at the yelling from Luka and the sudden flash of bright lights, the Cathar growls in objection and then steps behind Tarion quickly in case there is any fire heading their way, his feet barely whispering across the corridor floor. "What a fucking idiot," he hisses of Luka before backing back toward the exit from the tunnel, his blaster held at the ready and will likely slip from corridor and back into the alley outside.

There was a reason for the flashing was to distract them, throw them off, blind them. Luka having called out alerted the others in the tunnel of their approach. And now, the group will find themselves surrounded. With the lights back to dimness everyone can still easily see that they are surrounded. There is a handful of people, enough to outnumber the group. They all wear makeshift armour, cloaks, and hold different weapons. The leader, an older man with a gruff voice steps forward, holding a blaster at them, his face is stern. "Give me one reason why we shouldn't kill you all on spot.."
