Suoh meets the tiny dancer

OOC Date: May 6th, 2016
Location: Trader's Way - Starport District, Nar Shaddaa
Participants: Naelyn, Suoh Yume

Suoh Yume had just comes from a taxi to the bank terminal. He was wrapping up some business with the bank as he meanders down the stairs to the street. He pauses in front of his own shop. The echani takes a moment and attempts to straighten his suit and rubs the fine tuft of Mohawk on the top of his head. He looks physically agitated about something. He paces in front of the shop slowly, goes to the door and stops and then goes to the opening of a side alley to smoke.

Suoh takes out a sliver cigarette holder out of his breast pocket and pulls out a single cig. He lights it was a kryate dragon lighter and puts it back in his pocket. He puffs hastily, trail of soft violet smoke slither from his nostrils.

When in doubt follow the scent of smoke...or maybe the color is what attracts him...people will never know. The slender man-woman as he is called by different cat people makes his way along, a delicately crafted basket made of silvery wicker...or it may actually be metal is draped over his arm and his knapsack tossed over a shoulder. It is a fairly nice day, so he's forgone any robes, leaving more skin exposed and all that damn hair tumbling down his back. He pauses however as he passes the alley...pauses and walks backwards a few steps to peer curiously.

It is a rarity when it is sunny on Nar Shaddaa. Suoh squints, he is the sort of person that relishes stormy weather. His silver eyes scan to the man-woman. He averts his eyes so he is not starring. That's rude. However, takes another peek again. It is such an exposed look. He takes a long drag on his cigarette, he ooked down for a second but when he looks up again, they are close to each other and their eyes meet. Suoh tenses for a second. "Um.. Hello." He offers in that smoky tone of his. Exhales that violet smoke out of his nose looking like a tiny dragon.

Naelyn's full lips curve in a small smile. "Greetings little dragon." He looks around thoughtfully, that voice is as soft and lilting as usual...his Basic is accented, which is why there's a purr to his 'r' and 's' sounds. "What are you doing dressed so well, hiding your light from the sun?" He glances up and then behind him before looking back to echani in the alley. "Is it the competition of radiance?"

Suoh stiffens at being called a little dragon. Echani's naturally pale but he has a small blush rush to his cheeks. He turns to the wall, damn! That is one interesting wall! He glances over his shoulder slowly, to see if Naelyn is still there. Thin smile plays across his lips. "I burn easily." There is a slight bite to those words, he has had a rough week. He shifts his glance trying not to be nervous. "uh.." Is he being flirted with? Suoh is stepped off his game. "I think the shiny star has me beat." He points up. He stubs out his cigerette on the wall. "Um.. I'm Suoh Yume. And you are?" He offers a hand in a shake. Still has that look of uncertainty.

Naelyn's gaze flicks up and down Suoh's form thoughtfully before he bows his head with a soft ahh. "That explains, she fears your beauty so much she's resorted to underhanded tactics. That burning bitch." He winks and then looks behind him once more before he just takes a step into the alley, to lean against the wall opposite to Suoh, stepping forward only to take the offered hand. "I am called Naelyn." He doesn't shake the hand though, he bows his head to press his forehead against the back of Suoh's hand gently before releasing the hand and taking a step back. "Do you mind if I join you?"

Suoh gives a sly side glance giving Naelyn the up and down. However catches Naelyn giving him the once over at the same time. And when he mentions 'she' he think it's someone else until he mentions the sun. He chuckles slowly and shuffles his feet looking down, slow smile stirring. "I guess women just don't get me then." Bitter sarcasm. Been burned by another female this week. He dips his head in greeting. "Nice to meet you Naelyn." He shrugs. "I don't tend to tell people what to do on a Smuggler's moon, you are welcome to join me." He shrugs and looks down at his feet shuffling. "Hide from the sun she doesn't like competition."

"I'm sure many a woman would like to get you, honey, but it doesn't mean they'd always appreciate what they have." Naelyn leans against the wall, eyeing Suoh as he notes the sarcasm, studying his body language for a few moments. "The pleasure is all mine." The response to it being nice to meet him and he has to laugh softly at the mention of the sun and competition. "Do you know why people fear competition? Women specifically? Fear...they do not realize how beauty cannot be quantified as better or worse than another, there are different sides to it. Many men also do not understand this." He looks to his shopping basket before rummaging around. "Do you enjoy figs?"

Suoh shakes his head, opens his mouth to say something and pauses. He rubs the back of his neck, thinking about 'her' apparently. He just digs his hands in his pockets and hunches his shoulders and leans back into the building behind him. "Nothing but Corellians on this damn moon." Not something he enjoys. He smiles at this wisdom. "You cannot compare an apple to an orange. Both equally delicious." He watches the rummaging. "Figs are something else that are delicious. So what do you do for work?"

"Something weighs heavily on you, little dragon, both a weight and a pain. Be careful that you aren't crushed by it." Naelyn offers with some concern before he pulls a small silver container from the basket, pushing it open so that it opens into a small carton. He looks around and smiles almost secretly, before gesturing towards Suoh and tapping the wall beside him. "C'mon, lets be deliciously naughty and have a few." And there are some dark figs in the carton. "I do not get to splurge like this that often, it is better to share fortune than to hoarde it." Then the question makes him pause before he smiles softly. "I, my dear, am a dancer..."

Suoh mulls that over. "I can't be crushed if I cannot care about it anymore." He runs his teeth and rakes them over his lower lip, than smacks them. "Oh.. is it stolen food?" He looks around. "Stolen food is the best food." He winks teasingly and leans forward to reach for what is offered. He snatches a fig up with dexterious fingers and pops it between his lips whole and chomps. He chews in silence and nods with an eyebrow raised as Nealyn admits they are a dancer. He finishes his bite with a lick of his lip. "I thought you had a dancer's curve."

"Not quiiite stolen." Naelyn grins before taking a fig, nibbling daintily and mming softly. "I worked quite hard for these." A pause. "It isn't much to spend such money on, but it is treat." He then pauses mid-bite and mmhms softly. "Dancer's curve, dancer's purse, dancer's back, dancer's ass, dancer's lotions for soreness, dancer's g-strings...the list goes on darling."

Suoh chuckles more and rubs the side of his temple. Smiling for the first time in awhile. He has some dazzlingly white teeth, sharp incisors too. "You lil' trouble maker." He winks. "Well here is to charming company and good food mm?" He winks again. He looks back out the alley, and then back to Naelyn. "So what does a dancer do with them self on a Smuggler's moon?"

There's a wink and a small smile as Naelyn plucks another piece of little fruit and nibbles with a tiny shimmy. "To charming company and good food." He raises the fig in a faux toast of some sort before going back to nibbling. "I entertain those that I can. I am currently...working on scoping out real estate for something this moon has never seen before. A circus that brings the beauty of the galaxy to one central location. Dancers...entertainers of all sorts, beautiful animals and creatures. All liberated and rescued and given new purpose."

Suoh snatches up another fig and bumps it to one Naelyn is holding before he takes his time with this one, taking careful bites. He nods listening. "Liberated and rescued?" His delicate ivory eyebrow arches. "We had /some/ entertainment about six months ago but there are always power struggles going on here on this rock." He shrugs. "How long have you been here?" He rubs the back of his neck again. "It has been really un-entertaining around here as of late. I look forward to it. Besides these stuffy charity events and the like."

"Yes. Those who are newly freed, both animals and any person. They will have a place to work and entertain, and then those who just really need a job...and are interested in bringing beauty to this moon without being preyed upon." Naelyn shrugs a shoulder and sighs softly. "It will not be...in conflict with your brother...I assume that is who Sirus is, your brother, he has a very high class venue in mind. Which will draw a...stuffier crowd. It has its places. It is a more classic and superior type of beauty."

Suoh rolls his eyes at the mention of his brother. "Oh so you know of my twin?" He sighs, they do look a like despite the fashion choice and tattoo arrangements. "I am not really keen on the stuffier crowd." He had been leaning out and retreats back. "So did you want something of my brother?" Bites his inner cheek in thought. "I think I should rather leave this moon to my brother and stop being attached at the hip. We have such different tastes." He eyes Naelyn for a moment. "Well I will keep you in mind if I fine some newly liberated."

Naelyn shakes his head slowly. "No. I want nothing of your twin. He and I spoke, he gave me a VIP pass to your art gallery special room. He wished to offer me a job, I turned it down." He shrugs a shoulder and just studies Suoh thoughtfully for a few moments and there's a hint of a pout. "Well if you leave, who will I have to fantasize about when the sun is hiding her face in shame and it is storming?" He tsks softly. "You are both two very different individuals."

Suoh ponders that, he thought he had heard something like that. He rubs his thumb over his lip and bites it pensively. "Brother is bad at communicating things sometimes." He shrugs. "I try to keep to my Tabac shop, he stays to the gallery.. for the most part." A miro expression of a scowl in his eyes. "I try to stay away from it. There is nothing for me there." He stands up off of the wall he is leaning on, crosses the alley and leans on the wall next to Naelyn. "Yeah? And -how- are we different?"

Naelyn hmms softly and seems to be considering how to reply, bending a knee to rest a foot against the wall behind him, comfortable now and idly rolling his hips to stretch them as he adjusts to the knew position. "Like twin sun orbiting the same planet, it is possible but only if you stay on your own paths. That is you and your brother." He then consider the question. "You don't look at me and think what you could get out of me. He feels responsible for staying succesful, protecting and taking care of you, so every person he meets is a potential before they are a person. You just wish to enjoy life I feel...but you are wary as you have seen darker things, you see people yet have been hurt by quite a few."

Suoh ponders that. He is always curious of what people think of him and in extension his brother. He leans in and whispers into Naelyn's ear. "You are so wrong and also so right." He pulls back. "We are different people. But I think.." He wiggles his hands with each pointer finger. "You may have us mixed up." Being only a few seconds younger than Sirus does make a huge difference and impact. "I mean I am sure you don't have to worry about a fist fight because you look like the fucker they are looking for." He pushes his glasses up his nose ridge. Maybe that's why the glasses and the suit coat, ayeb they looked more similar before. Though Sirus was wearing suits more now with the gallery. "I may be younger but I do think he copies me more." He shrugs with his open palms

Naelyn's eyebrow raises a fraction as he chuckles softly. "I do not have you mixed up. You pay for his sins, and you inspire him to seek better things. And no, I do not have to worry about such things because there are no others who look like me." He glances towards Suoh for a moment. "I would not share my figs with your brother...dearest. His interest lies in other things."

Suoh shrugs. "I do not see anything redeemable about myself. So I guess I wear my mask well." He shrugs with a heavy breath. "I am lightening that strikes first, Sirus is the thunder." He chuckles and winks. "That's okay I don't share a lot of things with my own brother. I am glad you don't hold that against me and do not see my as an extension of him." He dips his head and bows a bit. "I look forward in seeing you perform someday. But alas I have business to complete before I go on more travels. Until such time." He nods again and makes a hasty retreat to the tabac shop.
