Apartment A2 - Noddreck Building - Corellian District, Nar Shaddaa

An apartment designed to house two residents is currently playing host to five. And a half. A scattering of toys – mostly homemade dolls and animatronics – litters the floor, but the rest of the space seems as clean as it could be, under the circumstances. An overworked air purifier hums away in a nearby corner, scrubbing the communal stench of desperation out of the air and adding a botanical zest to the mix, which is oft more than not overpowered by the aroma of salty broth on the stove. The walls were once painted red, according to the few glossy flecks of it, but time and abuse has distressed them to a shade of rusted terracotta. The residents have reconciled it by hanging several art pieces (composed of scavenged bits of this and that) to compliment the rustic look. The poured ‘crete countertops are clean, but largely occupied with small appliances and other bins for storing groceries. The big appliances break regularly and the equally shoddy sink clogs easily. Gray cabinetry is papered with cheery children’s drawings. A small, foldout table has been mounted to the wall across from the kitchen setup, repurposing what was likely a door for the little utility closet behind it. The rest of the apartment’s main room is dedicated to living and sleeping arrangements. The big, round bed is covered in clean, indigo linens and colorful patchwork pillows. It has been shoved to the left side of the big, north-facing window. To the right is another mattress on the floor, heaped with a few blankets and pillows. A junky Holonet terminal finds space in the corner behind the floor mattress. There’s a green repulsorlift couch, no longer levitating, in the middle of the floor. Folding screens partition off each sleeping area for illusion of privacy, when in use. The fresher unit’s seen better days for sure, and hot water too scarce to please the average person looking to clean themselves, but colorful bits of pottery hung on the walls and used to store hygiene products serve as good distraction. Unless, of course, you’re the person sitting in that cold bath!

Noise of pedestrian traffic outside and the dull thumping of music can be heard almost all the time.

Three in the morning, and the silence is rent by the sound of someone pounding at Rheisa's door. "Open the damn door!" snarls a voice. Male, slurring the words. Probably drunk. "Open the door or I'll blaster it open!" "Do it," giggles a female. From next door, rather than the corridor, there's the creak of a floorboard.

Inside the formerly quiet apartment number 2, a pair of orbs blink open, reflecting the slivers of light that filter through the shades. The nocturnal habit inside stirs, if a bit groggily, as Rheisa peels herself off the floor, careful to disentangle her limbs from those of the children, and looks about the rest of the room. It would seem that Qo and Veela have not returned from their 'date' and the offspring are beginning to stir. Her heart pounds more a-rhythmically as it quickens, mind making little sense of the commotion threatening to spill into their sanctuary.

Crouching low, she reaches for something in the dark, sliding it out from beneath the mattress and whispers gentle things to the little ones as they whimper. "Stay..." she touches a finger to the eldest's mouth, then slinks towards the kitchen/entrance. "GO 'WAY!" she shouts a warning to the man on the other side.

"Not goin' 'way 'til I get my money back!" retorts the man, resorting to another fist-pounding that rattles the doorframe. "You know that was more valuable," and he unleashes an unprintable obscenity and another thump. "Gonna count to three. Door ain't open when I hit three, gonna blast it open."

"Who be!?" Rheisa replies, glancing over her shoulder to ensure that the children are still tucked behind the privacy screen. Limping back hastily, she adjust the screen, concealing more of that mattress from view and angling herself out of the way of any initial blast, just in case this guy makes good on his threat. "Stay...shhh." She whispers again, hearing the youngest begin to fuss as the three kids huddle together. "No money here! I come out. Talk?"

"You come out, we talk plenty," snarls the man. "Open the door." There's another creak from next door, but silence. Elsewhere in the building someone turns up the volume on music, heavy on the bass. They don't want to hear what's going on. This is really the sort of apartment building where it's best not to acknowledge your neighbors' activities.

"Rheisa go see....shhh." The Togruta reaches around the screen to pat the nearest head of hair. There's a pause and she almost turns to go, but thinks better of leaving them so vulnerable. "You take," she instructs the 8 yr old and unsheathes her knife to press into his captured palm. The Mirialan youth stares in surprise, chin quivering. "Be okay." Rheisa nods and then silently creeps through the darkness as easily as through light.

Upon reaching the door, she hesitates and slides back the peep hole to look through. "How much want?" she inquires and hooks her toes over the kitchen countertop, climbing up to get out of immediate blast range. There's a soft hiss as her fingernails stroke once over her bowstring, bringing the weapon into her lap.

"I want another five hundred." The girl's voice mutters something. "Eight hundred," corrects the man. He looms in the peephole, an unshaven human male, swaying somewhat, clutching a heavy blaster that wavers about as he sways. Behind him, a human female, short spiky hair, a ring through her nose. The man bangs heavily on the door. "One. Two."

"Put weapons away," Rheisa tries to bargain, "And I come talk. Ecks-plain mistake. No have money." This isn't going to end well. She can feel it in her gut and her headtails begin a low, sonic vibration to warn other would-be pack members of the danger. It falls on less sensitive ears. Sliding one foot after another, she edges further away from the door, nocking an arrow and bringing it to aim. Her arms rise, lower in measure, as her head tilts this way and that - gauging his size based upon his shuffling and thumping about. "But better to go ahway. I know."

"Three!" There's the crump of a blaster, and the door lock splatters molten metal into the room, the door itself swinging open. And the man pushes on through, his blaster now pointed low as he arrogantly moves inside. "I warned you," he starts. The girl behind him moves up as well...but a shadowy figure moves behind her as well, of which she seems to be oblivious.

The tot finally wriggles free of his sister's bear hug on the mattress, just enough to let loose an annoyed squeal that's certainly on verge of becoming a tantrum. The two older children do their best to keep her quiet while the eldest throws a blanket over the group and huddles in 'front' of the other two, clutching that knife.

An angry hiss from the Togruta sprays saliva from between fangs as some of that metal singes through her leggings and melts to flesh. Her eyes flash more brightly with predatory advantage once they move inside, however and the arrow gets launched along a brief, 1.5 meter trajectory, towards the gut of the bigger intruder.

The arrow sinks through shirt and flesh, embedding itself half its length, and the man stares down at it with a look of confused horror. He drops the blaster with a clatter and clutches at the shaft, plucking at the feathers, and half-turns, stumbling back into the wall with a grunting noise. The spiky-haired girl's eyes widen...and that's when the shadow behind her detaches itself from the doorway, seizes her spiky hair with one hand, and lays a vibrodagger across her bared throat. The girl's eyes roll and she lets out a muted squeal of panic. The figure behind her, a slight young woman, murmurs a warning "Ssssssh." Quick eyes survey the scene, the figure with the bow as well. "You alright?" There's a thud as the big man slithers down the floor and fetches up in a seated position, letting out a mewling whimper.

Rheisa's silhouette emerges timidly from its dark corner, body trembling and own eyes mirroring her victim's despair. Still clutching the bow, she scuttles over to the man, keeping the two women in her sights. "I say you, GO WAY!" she screams, scolding the wounded fellow harshly, shaking a finger menacingly in a more universal gesture before she wrenches the shaft, snapping the feathered fletching free and stuffing into her bow hand, saving the native materials before he can bleed all over them. "No money here!" She insists, barking this more to the two women, only realizing now that one seems to be holding the other captive. Confusion reads visibly o'er her features and she stops her rant, hovering over the wounded man, unsure of what her options are. Pull his teeth and string them alongside the Akul's? Certainly not. Fetch a healer? Probably.

"Alright. We're going. We're going," murmurs the woman at the back. Another little jerk at the hair of the man's companion, and the buzzing vibroblade scores a thin crimson line across her neck, a scratch really. "Get your friend out of here. If you come back, I will kill you." The words are spoken soft, but with savage promise in them. "I...We won't come back," croaks the spiky-haired girl, face reddening - a dark stain appears at her crotch and spreads down her pants as her bladder releases in fear. The vibrodagger is withdrawn and the girl pushed forwards. She stumbles into the apartment.

Rheisa wrinkles her nose at the stench of urine and she backs up a step, giving the gal with a bad hairdo the space to collect her large companion. She takes the opportunity to snatch up his dropped blaster and - after casting a glance towards the kids' hiding place - hobbles past the blade-wielding woman to toss the gun into the corridor. "I say put away - like that!" she reminds the nervous tinkler upon re entry. "He not die if you get to medicine."

The spiky-haired one is struggling with the weight of her much larger companion, and he's sobbing with pain and frankly not being much of a help at all. Not that she's getting any help from the woman in the corridor, who stands in the doorway, sheathing her knife and eyeing Rheisa and the rooms beyond. "You OK?" she asks the Togruta quietly. The evidence of children in the apartment is not lost on her. The spiky-haired girl sobs, "He's too big! I can't carry him!"

"Tell him to walk!" Rheisa snaps, still quite riled by the intrusion, her own body continuing to tremble from head to toe. "I not hurt legs. He no baby." The critical nature of the wound inflicted isn't lost on her though, given the amount of blood seeping around the arrow shaft. Though, if she'd aimed correctly, it'd missed the aorta and simply torn through viscera. Death by sepsis was still hours away at least. Hopefully.

Speaking of babies though...little Jolan finally squalls above the reassuring hushes coming from big sister Bijha and brother Jolan. All three children are whimpering to some degree, their shadows shifting behind the screen, illuminated from light seeping through the backlit shade and now the open door. Rheisa stumbles her way around, creating another barrier between them and her potential savior with the big knife. To Alana, she finally offers a nod, not looking entirely convinced though.

"I'm gonna die..." the man sobs, big baby that he is, but probably accurate in his particular case. "No, you're not," Alana abruptly lies, stepping forwards. She's barely a hundred pounds, but between her and the spiky haired chica they get the big man onto his feet. He stumbles against the door frame, leaving a bloody handprint, and stares at Alana. "You! It's you! I'm gonna kill you dead..." he snarls, lunging forwards, but Alana darts backwards and he thuds into the wall, doubling over. "Siara, shoot them!" But Siara, if that is the girl's name, doesn't have his blaster; Rheisa does, and Siara looks uneasily at the Togruta. "C'mon, we gotta get outta here..." she mutters unhappily.

"You want me end hurt?" Rheisa offers, struggling to maintain her 'mean' voice as it looks like she's on the verge of crying, herself. She's taken up her bow again in a quick two-step and is readying another arrow to be of service. Her ribs are heaving, heartbeat visible, were not for the dim lighting. Her legs don't seem likely to hold much longer, but her arm is steady.

"Please...make it stop hurting..." babbles the man, his pain blunting his understanding of Rheisa's words. "No! We're going...we're going!" Siara chokes out hastily, and tries to loop his arm around her neck. Then she spots the blaster, laying there in the corridor. She hesitates, her eyes flickering between it and Rheisa and Alana. The tension in the air could be cut with a vibroknife. Drop the man and grab the blaster? Abandon everything and run?

Rheisa twitches her wrist just slightly and sets the arrow free. It bounces off the duracrete wall after whizzing harmlessly by Siara. May have been a warning. May have been an accident. In either case, the Togruta drops to her left knee and bites her lip, hard. "Go..." she growls. The twin fore-headtails flex forward just a touch, banded color broadening with illusion of greater size and strength - a tactic that surely only works to confound weak minds of herd animals, but it's all she's got to work with.

Siara jerks, drops the big man, and simply runs. She bolts down the corridor, footsteps echoing down the concrete-vaulted hallway, disappearing down a cross-passage and out of sight. The big man utters a curse at her disappearing back and stumbles after her, using the wall for support and leaving by way of punctuation a series of bloody handprints down the crumbling concrete wall. There's an exhalation of relief from Alana Zee. "You should go back inside in case she comes back with her friends," she warns quietly, speaking clearly and slowly. "I'll get your door fixed." By way of apology, it's somewhat lacking.

Rheisa just sits and slowly lowers her bow to rest beside her, near the original puddle of blood in the apartment. And the broken door. She looks to the latter with a sigh of dismay. "Not my door." Qo was really gonna be mad.

"Who be?" she questions, leaving it open-ended as to whom specifically she's inquiring. Exhaling sharply through the pain, she starts a sideways creep-crawl towards the noises emanating from behind the screen. "Why come here? No money."

"I don't know." Lying comes as naturally as breathing to Alana Zee, and she injects a look of helplessness into her expression. "I live next door...just here." She points at the neighboring, and most definitely intact, door. Then, taking pity on the female before her, she says gently, "I'll have the door fixed. Just a minute." She walks a few yards down the corridor to a public communication booth, all battered and graffiti'd, and after some work is put through to a 24/7 locksmith-repair outfit. Making true to her word, she arranges the service to come right away.

Rheisa listens to the woman's trek down the hall, expression distrusting. She takes advantage of the temporary aloneness though to scurry the rest of the way back to her entrusted brood and shoves the screen aside to peel back blanket and inspect the children hiding there for signs of...anything. They're fine, physically. Jolan sniffs bravely back a little drop of snot and hands her the knife, which Rheisa's quick to sheath beneath her tunic. She croons something something in a jibberish blend of Togrutan and Basic, gathering them all to her for a reassuring hug. Pain blanches her flesh to a pale apricot shade as little hands and bodies clamber against the sizzling bits of flesh entombed beneath the cooled metal, but she refrains from crying out. A silent weeping will do.

It's probably a good half-hour before the repairmen come to deal with the door. Between now and then, Alana simply takes up position outside the door, watching the few passers-by with a dark, intense gaze, such that most simply avert their gaze and pass by. There's no sign of Siara or the big man returning this way, at least not now. Alana is silent, letting Rheisa deal with her children. Her own gaze is unreadable.

"...When is mom coming home?" the eldest queries after his siblings have fallen back into troubled sleep, huddled against the half-reclined Togruta. Rheisa glances to the door as some clinky-clanky footseps approach. The rattling tools are a promising sound. "I no know," She admits. "I hope soon." Leaning forward on that note to plop a little kiss on the Mirialan boy's forehead, she sliiiiiides out from beneath the smaller girl and boy.

Alana Zee is speaking softly to the repair guy. It's late, but credit chips are juggled in her fingers (quite literally so), and they're clearly tempting to the repair guy and his droid. Then there's the whine of power tools, as the fix starts to take place. It won't be pretty, but it'll be functional. Alana Zee steps back to watch, and half her attention is watching the workmanship with a critical eye, but the other half is waiting to see if Rheisa will make another appearance.

Rheisa does reappear, as the repair guy gets to work. She's not one to judge workmanship outside the scope of her woodcraft, so offers no critique. She simply lingers somewhat in the way, in the doorway, staring out at the bloody handprints staining the wall. "You have name?" She finally asks, punctuating it with a cryptic glance fired Alana's way. "You must know many people. Get him here. Get...many peoples 'here'. When others sleep."

"Alana Zee. I know a few people," Alana replies noncommittally. "I hope I don't disturb you in the night," she adds contritely. "A lot of my friends are night-owls. I'm sorry if they wake your children." Her voice is gentle.

"Not my children," Rheisa informs, distant expression continuing to stare ahead while committing most of her auditory focus on her neighbor. "Qo, Veela live here. Give me, Rrrheisa a home." Lifting her right hand, she stares at the macabre fusion of liquified lock and her knuckle. "No wake. Only me hear, sometimes. Am used to night sounds." She tucks the hand back beneath the other arm. A long, pregnant pause, then "Am sorry I hurt man. You think he find medicine?"

Many hours later, on board the Phantom…

Jax hmmms. "She does but it's not in a sexual manner. I think she likes comfort and warmth. I haven't asked alot of questions." He looks up at Ax, "I dunno I made sure he wasn't in my room before I locked the door. He recover from the bar the other night?"

“Well, there's time," Ax responds to Kadi. "I want to make sure they're both up to par before we have to see some action. Thinking of buying some target missiles for practice." Then he's looking to Jax. "Yeah, he's just been a pain in the ass lately. We've been flying together solo on a small ship for ages now, he's still getting used to the new home and crew. I think he'll be alright, and there's too many damned hiding places on the Phantom for him to sneak off to. I need to get a locator collar for him, I swear."

The trembling has ceased for now, but Rheisa's still a little wide-eyed and shocky, feeling more like 'Tazi' than mature Rheisa. She approaches the Phantom's ramp with a vacant stare, left hand clutching something tightly in its fist. The mild limp typically hitching her step is more pronounced, and she seems to have lost her constant companion - the staff. The Togruta quietly, awkwardly, pads her way up to the belly of the behemoth.

On a positive note, Rheisa's dressed in store-bought clothing today! It seems some of her lessons in 'how to blend with galactic society' are sinking in.

Seeing Rheisa enter, Lorana looks over concerned. She trots over to the Togruta, and takes her by the elbow and arm to support her. Quietly, she asks, "Sweetie? Are you ok?"

Jax stands up as the ramp lowers and up it comes Tazi. He frowns as he sees the woman in a bit of a shocked state. "I'll go radio Sesti, find Gra, get the ship prepped to pull out, If we need it." He says then moves to disappear to do just that.

Kael Greystorm glances at Tazi as she comes onto the ship then back to the others, "Well that doesn't look promisin... Skipper I think I'll go suit up. Comm me if you need me down faster." He nods towards everybody and makes his way towards the front of the ship...

Gaarurra enters back into the hold having been working the day he seems to be freshly cleaned up and everything. He looks about a moment followed by the droid which talks for him follows behind he notices Lorana "rwarrl rwarrl woeieowl wrall rwarrl woeieowl, rwal." he looks on then and tilts his head "rwal." he comments moving over to her he leans offering his hand he can either carry her outright if she wishes or act as the walking stick as it were. "woeieowl worowl?" he looks to Jax a moment nodding "wrall rwal rwal." Re-Pete ( 7987) repeats after Gaarurra, "Ah so you've joined us afterall, wecome. Rheisa. What's happend? Yes please do."

'Thwoosha-thwoosha-thwoosha', goes her heart, as close to a healthily pounding 'thumpa-thumpa-thumpa' as it can muster. Warm, terracotta skin has been blanched to a pale, apricot shade. Rheisa looks with silent question to the hands on her arm, then at the face responsible. She halts her feet there, letting blood catch up to her brain before she hits the hangar floor. An ambiguous nod is offered sort of to Gaar and she swallows. "Bad mens," are the two syllables uttered for now and she stiffly unfurls her fingers, turning both palms up to reveal the broken, fletched half of an arrow. It, and her palms, are still a bit bloody.

Lorana nods at Gaar. "Yeah, Ax brought me aboard," she says to Gaar. Seeing Rheisa fall, she lets go quickly, and says to Gaar, "Quick, pick her up and bring her in." Looking back to Rheisa, she gently says, "Sweetie, what 'bad mens?' You're safe now. You're with friends."

If a wookiee can frown this one does if not he'll try his best to do so anyways. "rwarrl wrall, rwarrl rwarrl rwowoal rwowoal wrall. woeieowl wrall rwarrl woeieowl ror rwowoal rwowoal rwowoal rwarrl wrall wrall." but Gaarurra looks to Lorana and nods once he'll stoop down but is gentle not to jostle the togruta too much as he carries her into the ship and well its straight for the newly setup medbay. "woeieowl wrall rwal woeieowl rwarrl rwowoal wrall rwarrl rwarrl worieowl ror." he will gently set her down on the table before moving to get supplies though he doesn’t go too far away when he comes back he'll place one of his much larger hands over the togruta's "worieowl wrall rwowoal rwal grarrrl rwowoal rwarrl rwarrl rwowoal rwowoal rwowoal wrall." Re-Pete ( 7987) repeats after Gaarurra, "Your hurt, we'll find the bad men. I am sorry I wasnt there to protect you i've failed. I dont have Sesti's skill but i'll at least start helping. Start with taking things for pain we'll get the doctor here soon."

"No touch!" Rheisa shrieks, withdrawing her hand from beneath the well-intended Wookiee's. Her left still holds fast to her prize, but it's her right that's clenching for another reason. It's been splattered with what looks to have been molten metal. Small flecks, here and there, but no doubt painful. She bites her lip, steeling herself to keep a calm demeanor. Her left shin and portions of right foot have suffered the same fate, though the color of her leggings makes it difficult to spot the silvery bits of door.

"Was...was sleeping," she works her head into a nod, concentrating on the Twi'lek (if she follows). "Then /BANG/BANG/" she thumps her left fist on the exam table. Her brows furrow together, voice deepening with uncanny mimicry as she plays the villainous role "Open damn door! Not goin 'way till I get money back!" Relaxing her throat, she softens her voice to its original accent. "Me, children, wake. I tell them 'shhh' and look around. Qo and Veela not home yet."

Lorana nods along with Rhesia. "You're safe now," she says gently, to the Togruta. Glancing to the wounds, Lorana says, "How about we let Gaar look after the hurty, while you tell me what happened next, ok?"

Gaarurra removes the hand quickly placing it on her shoulder instead "grarrrl grarrrl rwal, grarrrl rwowoal rwowoal rwal." He offers over the medicine though he does notice the metal flecks upon her skin and clothes "rallr rwowoal?" he asks upset thathis friend was hurt though "rwowoal wrall rwowoal rwowoal rwarrl? rwowoal rwarrl ror grarrrl? wrall rwarrl rwarrl grarrrl. woeieowl rwarrl wrall grarrrl rwal." its not often that he's angry but he is not with her but at these low-lifes. "rwarrl rwowoal wrall rwarrl?" he will get a solution together "rwarrl rwarrl rwowoal woeieowl wrall, rwowoal worieowl rwal wrall wrall rwarrl grarrrl rwowoal wrall rwowoal." He looks to Lorana "rwal rwarrl." Re-Pete ( 7987) repeats after Gaarurra, "Take these please, for the pain Rheisa. Flechette rounds? They tried to rob you? Could you identify them? We will find them. I will make them pay. Are the children okay? We'll get the metal off, and start bandaging what we can until Sesti gets here. Thank you."

Ax nods to Jax and Kael. "Yeah, might want to make sure you got everything we need for whatever," he says to the cousins. He then looks to the Togruta, shaking his head. "Make sure she's calm, Gaar, I'll put the ship on lockdown for now and comm everyone to get back aboard. Might send the Greystorm twins out to gather anyone who isn't." Looking to Lorana, "Welcome to the Phantom, where we take care of our crew and friends while trying to turn a profit."

Rhesia shakes her head adamantly, but takes the offered medicine, swallowing it without fight - this time. "Rheisa make men gone." She lets the arrow bit roll out of her palm and onto the table. "I make children quiet, then go to door, say 'GO WAY'...but not listen. Think I am wrong person, have their money. Take ..." she mimes firing a heavy blaster with her arms, face scrunched into a menacing expression. "Break door open. But I ready." With a much more elegant gesture, she draws an imagined bow and takes aim.

Gaarurra will get the solution though he's still mixign it for the moment. He knows it has to be exact and well perhaps hoping for Sesti to get here and look it over before he tries to apply it. He listens to the togruta though and tilts his head "rwarrl rwarrl grarrrl wrall? rwowoal woeieowl rwarrl rwowoal rwal." Re-Pete ( 7987) repeats after Gaarurra, "You fought them off? That was well done Rheisa."

Kadi has been watching quietly, but then, medical isn't her forte either. Lily finishes her diagnostic and disconnects from the fighter, beeping briefly before moving over next to Rheisa. Kadi takes a breath and then says, "Very well done, Rheisa. Where are the children now?"

Speak of the devil, and she shall appear, hopping on just before Axel starts the lockdown with a box. She barges into the medbay, headed to her workshop area with the box, but stops in surprise at the collection of people there. "Rheisa," she greets, noting that Gaarurra seems to be trying to treat her. She sets the box down against the nearest wall instead, out of the way and move over to what seems to be a patient. "What happened?"

"Qo and Veela come home later this morning. I stayed before. Had to say why door...broken. Why blood on floor. Lady next door come help make man and woman leave, after arrow hit...here." She leans with an outreached arm to prod Gaar in the belly. "He stay down then...lady make his friend take him and go. He no die...if find doctorrr." There's a brief flash of something sinister in her expression, before Rheisa tosses the thought aside and gets back on track with the storytelling for the crew's benefit. "After I say all this to Veela and Qo, they want take Rheisa to 'hoss-spit-al', but I just want...I just leave."

"Alo," she offers softly to Sesti, lowering her eyes like the guilty hunter she feels she's been. "Door break, make hot...." she frowns, not quite able to put the image into words. "door bleed when hit with weapon. Get on me."

Ax listens to Rheisa, and walks over towards the ramp and keys in the code to seal the ship up. "Glad you made it aboard, Sesti," he says. "Make sure she's going to be fine," he says to the medical officer in regards to their unofficial crewmate. "I don't understand half of what she's saying, but I can gather enough." His attention then shifts to Kadi. "We might be launching soon, can you make sure that the Phantom is good for a trip?" Then it's towards Rheisa. "Can you tell Gra where your fam.. your wards or whatever, are? We can get them aboard to safety as well."

Kadi nods to Ax. "I'll make sure," she says. "Should be good, but I'll go double check everything." She doesn't touch Rheisa at all, but she shudders at the description the Togruta gives. "That sounds - terrible," she murmurs. "But Sesti and Gaar will take good care of you. I'll be right back." Lily beeps a couple times but the R2 promptly goes with Kadi.

Gaarurra looks between them. "rwarrl rwarrl rwarrl grarrrl grarrrl rwowoal woeieowl rwarrl rwowoal, rwowoal rwarrl wrall wrall." He looks to Sesti when she arrives "rwarrl woeieowl worowl rwowoal wrall rwowoal rwowoal rwowoal. rwarrl rwarrl grarrrl wrall, woeieowl rwal rwal wrall rwarrl rwarrl woeieowl rwarrl rwowoal rwowoal wrall woeieowl rwowoal." Re-Pete ( 7987) repeats after Gaarurra, "So you fought them back that was well done, but you were hurt. She was attacked they tried to rob her. She fought them off, it looks like she's got liquid metal on her and some other injuries."

Kael Greystorm has 'suited' up and returns to the hangar wearing his commando armor as he comes up to the group he crosses his arms and looms for now, "So what's the status?" From afar, Sesti Gath (Sesti) nods.

Sesti Gath sniffs at the mixture Gaarurra is stirring, wrinkles her nose and gently removes it from his hands. The zabraks fingers are surprisingly gentle as she looks over and notes each of the splatters of metal. She looks up to the Togruta. "Rheisa, these have hardened so they have... mixed with your flesh. Metal and blood are not a good mix, you could become sick if I leave it to fall off naturally. Do you understand?" She looks quite seriously to the younger woman as she takes a step aside, her hand pulling open a drawer that she knows is there without looking, since she's cleaned and restocked the medbay. She can try to maintain eye contact with the woman as she takes out the materials needed and lays them on a tray.

"Why must go?" Rheisa looks worried, watching Ax move around the ship, and even more worried by the sight of an armored Kael. "I..." as far as locating Qo and Veela is concerned, she thinks she's able to do one better, unclipping a little commlink from beneath her tunic and offering it up. As though it would automatically summon her hosts. "He - bad man - drrrunk! He not know who...I just keep safe Bijha, Hrahn, Jolan." she rushes through the fragmented thoughts, now in defense of her attacker as she wonders if he /had/ made it to a healer, or if she'd killed the trespassing idiot. And now this bunch appears to be going on a war path!?

But wait - doctor's addressing her. Nodding emphatically to Sesti, Rheisa acknowledges that yeah, it needs treating! Is why she'd fled half a day through the city to get here, after all. But the items on the tray get a skeptical glare as they're revealed. She seems on the verge of re evaluating her decision.

Kadi heads off to engineering, the door closing behind her.

Gaarurra looks when the doctor takes the mixture but only tilts his head she knows best afterall. He will move back instead towards the injured young woman a hand placed on her shoulder. "rwowoal rwarrl rwarrl rwowoal rwarrl worowl rwal roarrl rwowoal rwarrl woeieowl rwowoal grarrrl rwowoal woeieowl rwarrl worieowl woeieowl rwarrl rwarrl. woeieowl rwarrl rwowoal rwarrl." he says trying to be reassuring. Re-Pete ( 7987) repeats after Gaarurra, "Sesti is a doctor she wouldnt do something to cause harm to someone injured especially a friend which you are. It will be okay."

"We don't have to go," Ax says. "But I want to make sure that you and yours are safe. You're a friend of my crew, that makes you a friend of mine. I care for my friends." Ax keys in a code for the ramp. "Make sure this closes behind me, I'm going to get some things rolling."

Kael Greystorm heads out with Ax to provide off ship security. "Comm if anything crazy happens going to watch over the skipper."

Sesti Gath shakes her head to Gaarurra with a slight upward glance of her eyes. "It will hurt a little, I am sure. I am going to make the places where the metal hit you very, very cold. Then it should not hurt as much." She holds up the first hypospray and gives it a little wave towards the closest hand that has metal pieces, but still a good couple feet from actually touching. "This will make it very cold." She sets it down, and then picks up the laser scalpel. "This will take it off. The bits are small, so it should heal quickly."

It's as though the universe has informed Qo that his ward has stopped her running... The commlink chirrups, buzzing once on the exam table and is followed by a gruff "Rheisa"

Rheisa jumps at the sound of Qo's voice but rather than answering the man, she eyeballs the demonstrated tools and feels her heartrate start to climb, just in anticipation. Shakily, she extends her right hand and looks away into her lap.

"rwal." Gaarurra says looking to the young woman "woeieowl rwarrl rwowoal rwarrl, rwarrl rwarrl woeieowl rwarrl woeieowl woeieowl wrall woeieowl rwarrl rwarrl woeieowl." the large figure of the wookiee says to them as he doesnt want this to be too much trouble he will leave his hand on her shoulder for the moment if she'll allow him to. Re-Pete ( 7987) repeats after Gaarurra, "Rheisa. It will be okay, you can squeeze my hand or claw or whatever will help."

"Thank you, Gaarurra," Sesti says lightly, glancing to the comm. "I needed another patient today." Now that Rheisa is as settled as she will by, the medic takes her arm gently but firmly, and presses the hypo to the skin area around the spots of metal, and then leans back to let it take effect. She gives a nod to the usually curious Togruta. "Go ahead, poke at it. Tell me if you feel anything?"

Rheisa gingerly does as encouraged and prods the numbed flesh with a fingernail. There's pressure to be felt, but no sting. "Is...not hurt," she concludes and reaches with her other hand to pick up the commlink. "Qo! I go to Phantom. Sesti fix. Sorry I leave. You fix door?"

Her head bumps aside for a gentle nudge against Gaar's wrist, acknowledging his gesture.

Gaarurra will scritch lightly at the bumps against the young lady "rwarrl grarrrl rwarrl rwal. rwarrl rwal rwarrl wrall rwarrl wrall rwowoal." He speaks in his most calm voice. The large figure is still upset someone hurt his friend and they will likely have hell to pay later. Re-Pete ( 7987) repeats after Gaarurra, "Your doing well Rheisa. We'll heal you up good as new."

With a satisfied nod, Sesti lets Rheisa make the communication on the commlink, then she takes out the laser scalpel and very precisely cuts off the metal, the light beam moving just barely outside the edge of the metal. The metal pings into a little container as Sesti drops each one in, and then returns to clean each bleeding spot and put a bacta patch over each one. With the arm done, she'll move on to the montrals, next, chilling them and taking out the metal. She'll go to the shins last.

The montral is perhaps the easiest to clean up but worst to numb, the metal having failed to singe beyond the thin skin layer, halted by toughness of the horn. It's quite sensitive, and Rheisa's teeth clench in response to the chilling spray, eyes squeezing shut with a thin squeal of pain. (Like a real shitty brain freeze)

"Super ain't gonna replace it anytime soon," Qo answers with a grumble, but is soon replaced by Veela's voice. "Rheisa, hello? Where are you?"

Gaarurra squeezes the shoulder his hand had been resting on trying to be whatever comfort he can be. "rwarrl rwarrl rwarrl rwarrl grarrrl rwowoal wrall rwowoal woeieowl rwowoal rwal rwal." he comments though he is also watching Sesti as she works impressed witht he medical knowledge. He will continue to do both of these things until things have subsided. Re-Pete ( 7987) repeats after Gaarurra, "Its okay we'll get this done with and you'll be fine Rhisea."

Kadi returns, without Lily who is still in engineering running a last diagnostic. Kadi now has some grease on her face, just a smudge. She stops inside the door, just so she doesn't get any dirt or grease or oil on anything. "Everything okay?" she asks, worriedly.

Sesti Gath looks over her shoulder as she finishes the last of it, having gone as quickly as she could on the montrals. Rheisa now has little dotted patches of bacta skin on her hands and shins, and she is free to respond to Veela. "Everything is fine," she assures Kadi, taking the dish of metal half covered in little fleshy bits to dispose of it, and then taking off her gloves as she cleans up the rest of the area. "You did very well, Rheisa," she reassures. "I have some nerf in the cooler unit that hasn't been cooked, yet. You can have some of that, if you like."

Rheisa squeezes the comlink more tightly, transmitting as she does so, leaving Qo and Veela likely a bit concerned and confused about what's going on. Exhaling shakily as the last bit of fused flesh is zapped off, the patient lifts the link to her lips. "Phphantom," she tells and nods numbly in response to Sesti's generous offer. "C-captain say you can be safe here...if no door. Not safe without door."

Kadi looks to Rheisa, and she smiles briefly. But since Rheisa is in a conversation on her commlink, Kadi turns her attention to Sesti. "Good, I'm glad," she says. "The ship is good to go, if need be, so Captain Ax should be glad to hear that." Gaar at the moment seems to be the big strong silent type.

Sesti's just finished zapping and patching, leaving Rheisa a bit riddled with spots of bacta blue. Rheisa's just finished giving her 'gang' an update of her whereabouts and extending Ax's invitation for them to join for a night or such for safe keeping. Flipping her tunic aside, she clips the commlink back into place and makes a slow escape from the table. "Thanks," she murmurs, staring and poking at the patch on her hand, then giving it a tentative sniff. Same 'herb' used on her leg by the Jedi.
