It's a Date!...maybe.

OOC Date: April 4th, 2016
Location: Nar Shaddaa
Participants: Sevrina Riggers, Faid Reyoz

There's an R2 unit rolling around the shop that, at times, stops and gives off a couple beeps and chirps before beginning it's rolling again. The owner and proprieter of the shop, one Rina Riggers, sits on top of her shop counter, legs crossed, blaster in her lap and she's humming a little while trying to get the thing to work. It's a futile attempt, it'll never blast again, but she's not one to give up trying! None the less, that's pretty much it. There maybe, might be, faintly a sound of some new-age Cornellian bar music playing faintly in the background somewhere, but that's just so she can have a slice of home near her. Otherwise, the place is quiet and empty.

Pushing the door to the shop open slowly, Faid slowly enters the facility and runs his hand along his wet hair, currently pulled back into a loose braid which drips water slowly from it's tip. His helmet hangs from a clip at his belt, his hazel eyes flicking around the immediate area and a small grunt rumbling in his chest when he spots the shop owner. ... Not that she's all that hard to see, what with the fact she's using a counter as a seat and all. "You're new." He decides to point out the obvious, giving the woman a quick once over, one eyebrow ticking upward.

There's a quick glance up as the doors to the shop open, giving a tilt of her head one way and then another as the man steps in. The R2 unit even pauses before rolling back over towards where Rina sits on the counter and when that simple phrase is offered she gives a quick of her lip before looking back to the blaster in her lap. "Nothing gets by you, does it?"

"Sharpest hammer you'll ever see." Faid retorts to the woman, a smirk tugging at one corner of his lips. He steps further into the building, moving over so that he can lean against the counter near the new shop owner. Hazel eyes peer in the direction of the blaster that she's currently working on. "So, what's wrong with it?" He asks, motioning his head toward the weapon.

"Well I would hate to meet a dull hammer..." Rina says this much, eyes shifting back to him and then she shrugs. "I really don't know. Been about six years and I still can't get it to shoot..." There's really nothing to fix on it, the blaster is deader than dead, if it was even alive to begin with. Saying that much more before giving a smirk and then sits up a bit while shifting her green-grey gaze towards him more. "Something I can help you with mister..."

There's several moments where Faid starts to look himself over, taking in the armor and weapons that he wears, running a hand across either side of his head to feel for the stubble of his mohawk.. "Well, first.. I'd hope that I don't look like a mister..." He answers, "Faid. Faid Reyoz." He introduces himself, holding out his hand toward the woman. "I'm.. I suppose I'm browsing currently. Debating on getting something done with these." He motions toward the pair of DL-30s at his sides. "Currently undecided though."

Sevrina Riggers shrugs. "I've seen all sorts of misters... I mean... you're a man right? Unless I'm missing something..." She says this much looking him over again before shaking her head. "Sevrina Riggers. Or Rina for short. Just for sharing sake. And.. I mean you obviously are welcome to look around. If you find something you like, let me know and we'll work out the details." She says that much more before setting her blaster behind and under the counter while grabbing a data pad to begin looking through. "I take it by your surprise, you frequented this place before I took over ownership?"

"Mister's a little formal for a man in my line of work." He thinks, "Also, I don't look old enough to be a mister." Another pause as he thinks -that- over, "At least I hope I don't look that old." His eyes drift around to the rest of the shop, pushing away from the counter that Rina is currently using as a chair so that he may do a quick walk-through of the area to take in the inventory as well as studying the R2. "I poked my nose in occasionally.. I never was really able to come across the previous owner much." He answers the question before focusing his attention back upon the woman. "How long you been owning this place?"

"Oooh. Okay. So I'm supposed to assume what line of work you're in and how old you are. Thing of it is, I ain't that old either...but I was raised to respect everyone around me. No matter what. So I guess it's more a respect thing than not. And if your line of work ain't that respectful well then, I can always stick to Faid now that I know your name." A smirk on Rina's lips then before she shrugs and finally hops off the counter. "How long? Not that long, honestly. A week maybe? Two tops. I'm still gettin' used to everything." That much more explained as she offers a kind smile. "But this is my passion. Weapons and making them do what they do better than when they're off the factory line." Admitting that much and smiling all the while.

Chuckling, he offers a shrug to the woman. "I suppose that you have a point.. Though really, I'm on Nar Shaddaa. I don't expect anyone to call me mister out of repsect." He explains, "And it depends on how you view bounty hunting as respectful work." He further states and scratches along one side of his head, giving a nod toward the answer of his own questions now, returning the smile, the scar on his cheek distorting into an oddly large dimple. "Not a bad passion there. Of course, that may just be because I also enjoy a blaster that does better than stock." He smirks back to the woman, folding his arms over his stomach. look vendor

Sevrina seems to think on such a comment for a moment and then sighs. "Maybe that's why I keep getting funny looks from people I try to hold conversations with..." Saying that much before taking a breath and then shrugs. "I can't say much for or against bounty hunting. I mean, I work for a group of vagabonds so..." Laughing as she says then and then she shifts to grab a couple of sights, and barrels. "I do sell a suppressor mod, if you're looking for something that will be a little more quiet..." She begins. "Assuming you don't have that yet, or want it. Or...whatever.." Then she hops back onto the counter and reaches back and under to pull out another blaster, beginning to make quick work of modding the weapon.

Nodding to Rina, Faid is about to push himself up so that he may sit himself down near the armsman. .. Armswoman? Whichever she really wants to use as her title. It's not Faid's place to give her titles or anything. Though he does stop himself, simply leaning back to the counter and keeping himself close enough for conversation with her. "Suppressors make blasters a little too... Suspicious. And I plan on carrying these normally. I'll probably bring back a different blaster for that." He admits, "Currently a terrible shot on these. I may get myself some better sights to help with that."

"Ah, right right. A difference between your everyday blasters and the ones you use when working, right?" Rina says this much with a smirk before giving a shrug of her shoulders. "Well, I have those if you choose you wanna try one out..." A chuckle from her once more and then she sets the blaster she's working on under the counter behind her again. "Anyway...sorry...I tend to get a little carried away when talking about blasters and mods and such."

Shrugging back to her, "I can't blame you for enjoying what you do." Faid replies, turning around and settling his elbows at the counter. "Something like that. I put a suppressor on my blasters, I need to start answering all sorts of silly questions whenever someone notices." He waves his hand about, as if to shoo away any of the mentioned questions. "How much do you charge for installation?" He asks, tilting his head to the side.

Sevrina Riggers shrugs. "Generally I just want twenty percent of the mod cost. Or...I dunno. Whatever people think is fair or...something..." Saying that much before taking a breath to let out slowly while watching him still. "Course I guess I should be careful about that because people might think that it's fair to pay me nothing..." A light laugh then while watching him.

Pushing off from the counter, he reaches both hands down to unholster either of his pistols and settle them down close to the short-haired woman gently. "Twenty percent seems fair." He replies to her, "If not, I'd offer work in trade, but I'm not sure if there's anyone you want me to start chasing after." He states with grin to the woman. "Let's pick up a couple sights then." He motions toward the middle-tier sights.

Sevrina gives a bit of a nod and then slides off the counter and moves to where the sights are, unlocking the case and grabbing a couple before relocking and walking back to the counter and hops on. "So, we're looking at about...two thousand credits for the labor..." Saying that much as she waits for the weapons and such.

Nodding towards Sevrina, Faid reaches one hand back and into a pouch which rests near the small of his back, pulling free several cred sticks which equal out to the amount designated by Sevrina. He shifts and leans down against the counter, "So. There times when you leave this shop much or.. Would I have to just end up being a regular customer to see you a little more often?"

Sevrina Riggers takes mods and blasters and begins to set up affixing mod to blaster. She almost doesn't hear the question and then..it sort of dawns on her that he's spoken. "Oh...uhm. Well..." She blushes a little, shaking her head then. "I mean, admittedly I've sort of parked myself here for the time being. But...I'm not opposed to leaving if I...had a reason to..." Answering it that much before giving a smile to him.

Pursing his lips, Faid's grin returns with a little more force, peeling back from his teeth and drumming his fingers against the countertop as he continues to watch Sevrina. "Hearing something like that almost makes me think that I could be offended if I ask you to leave the shop for a bit with me." He chuckles and winks to the short-haired woman now.

Sevrina Riggers blinks a little, tilting her head one way and then the other. "How..how would it offend you to ask me to leave my shop?" A bit of confusion on her face then before she takes a breath and lets it out slowly. "I mean, if you're asking me to leave my shop with you for a little bit, again, I wouldn't be opposed to the idea?"

Clearing his throat, "I'm terrible at this sometimes. I meant, if you said no.. I'd have to take some offense." Faid scratches at the edge of his mohawk, looking a little meeker than he had before, though he does move so that he's now more directly across the counter from Sevrina. "So.. Where might I be able to drag you off too?" He inquires with small jest, "Know of any place close by?"

There's a smirk as he clarifies himself and she flushes even more so at that. Finding him standing directly in front of her then, she lets her green-grey eyes find his hazel ones and that smirk softens into a smile. Rina clears her throat a bit and then shrugs. "I..admittedly..don't get out much. So, even while having been on this planet for a little over a month or so...I've only been to a ship's hangar, a book store, and this shop. So I'm a bit at a loss..."

His tongue pokes between his lips, wetting them briefly and he gives a bob of his head in a nod toward her. Faid does keep his eyes locked upon her green-grey gaze. "I could always just say you lock up if you have apartment here." He jests with another quick grin to her, one hazel eye winking toward her. "But.. I do know a couple places around planet." He murmurs, "I could take you along to the club my boss owns..?" He suggests, "Been to the Hutt district much?"

Rina watches him for another moment, and then she takes a breath and lets it out. "Well it's not really an apartment per se but...if you'd rather..." Though she likely shouldn't have suggested that and, instead, shakes her head a little. "No. I've actually never been to the Hutt district to be quite honest...and I don't ever do much clubbing." And by ever, she meant never. "I mean, honestly, I'm really just a boring bump on a log who enjoys modding pistols."

There's another small snort of laugh, "It's... Not really a club in a dance sort of sense. If you want, there's simply just drinks and conversation." He suggests, "And.. I'll have to see the apartment another time, obviously." He states with another wide grin. "Or I just take you back to my ship, really. But that.." He coughs softly, shrugging and letting his voice trail off.

Sevrina Riggers looks around and shrugs. Making sure blasters and data pads are tucked away behind the counter before she hops off. A look given to the R2 unit and she pokes buttons on it's front side before turning back to face Faid once more. "How about I follow you...and you take me wherever you decide is best to go. I don't care where it is, and I'll be able to tell people I do actually leave my shop." A smile then as she offers as much before looking him over. "So. Lead the way?"

Taking his now finished pistols and returning them to their holsters, Faid watches as Sevrina starts to take stock of the remaining... Stock. There's a small nod toward her and he returns the smile to her, turning away slowly and beginning to make his way toward the exit, glancing back over his shoulder as if to make sure that Rina is still following him.
