The Gang travels to Auratera to the Acablas Temple Ruins to find the lost Crown of Verity!

OOC Date: August 24, 2020
Location: Auratera, Vorzyd Sector, Outer Rim
Participants: Jedi Order: Rey, Aryn Cole, Vhe Tenara, Zandra naMuriel, Liren, and Elrych Cometburn

Auratera was to the north east of the galactic center in the outer rim sector of Vorzyd. The Jedi Texts had marked it down as a vergance in the Force where an anchient Jedi and Sith temple both rested. It was odd to comprehend both temples together and not just one or the other.

The planet was lush with Forested Mountains and Grassy Plains. Seeral different species lived and worked the land.

Night only came rarely and thus the entire planet was usually bathed in sunlight or some errie twilight. It's said the connection to the Lightside was fueled because of this constant day time. Night came only when both stars were close together or eclipsing one another, allowing for one side of the planet to darken. It's said that's when the Darkside was most powerful.

The trail was long. Up hills, down hills, through desnse forest and a few swampy plains. They traveled for Kilometers with seemingly no end in sight. What they looked for were the temples and pyramyds build by the Jedi and Sith over the vergence in the Force at Acablas.

Why?

"I got this hunch, you know. I was reading about Master Tobar Ka-Teen, right..." Elrych told them before they had set off. "Ithorian Jedi. He took this thing, the Crown of Verity or whatever. Aparently it lets you detect lies more easily. Enhances your truth sense. Maybe it'll help us." He shruged, putting things in a messenger survival bag. "He took it to the vergence here with like a company of Clone Troopers and was never heard from again. They just assumed the clones got him when Palpy issued 66." He looks around at those who decided to prace the forest, plains, and mountains with him. "I think it's down in there somewhere... or around the ruins. At any rate, it'll be a cool place to explore."

So now here they were, sweaty and tired, only now just topping the crest of a mountain. Elrych stopped to take a drink of water. "It's supposed to be down the hill, anyone see it?" There was mostly tree canopy ahead.

Vhe is excited to say the least and overly exuberant for their journey. But the walk does take a bit out of her, stopping to drink only when El does because seeing him do so brings it to mind. She lets her gaze flit to him as she lowers her canteen and straps it back to her belt. She wipes the back of her hand to her lips and then to her forehead before craning to try to make out anything.

"I see something...stone structures...there. See them poking out of the canopy?" They ARE hard to make out with the structures being mostly covered in greenery from their vantage point.

Zandra is always game for exploring, and since she is feeling better and better all the time, it seems like it might be worth testing out her healing? healed? arm and seeing how things go. So, she's here, with a pack slung over one shoulder, and resting at her back. She doesn't take a drink right now, having done so already earlier. She looks about, raising one hand to place it like a ball cap above her eyes, looking out. She spies something, and her head tilts a bit, one way, then the other. She reaches out with the force towards it, and she says, "A Skysnare - I can see it's blue white feathers barely. They're hard to see against the blue of the sky." She frowns, and then adds, "It seems to be a bit more - uhm, present - here - than the ones we saw earlier. Maybe it's closer to this vergence thing?" She's still not the most formal of individuals, that's for sure.

Aryn Cole is traveling with her companions, though quiet for most of the hike. She wears the light green and brown tunic of a Jedi, and has fashioned a multi-cam poncho (similar to the ones they used on the Sanctuary Moon) to conceal what gear she carried. The only visible thing was a satchel pack marked by the universal symbol for Doctor.

When they reach the top of the mountain they're climbing, Aryn is near the rear. Having traversed the terrain like some glorified adventure you might read about in a storybook, she walks carefully and with the aid of a walking stick. She'd blend in well here were it not for her long blonde hair, which she's tied back into the fashion of a tail to bounce left and right just over her shoulders.

She joins the others but does not add to their commentary. Her attention goes to her boots as she finds a seat to stretch. A groan sounds, the only lament from the noble as she points her booted toes out and stretches her calves. Water is consumed a moment later, and she wets a handkerchief with her canteen before tying it around her neck; the cute light pink a stark difference from the green and brown that dominated her 'adventure' ensemble.

Rationing her sips of water, Liren walked last in line, watching the passage of the others ahead of her. Insects hovered overhead stirred up by the disturbance of their passage. A deep green smell rose from the vegetation - the humid air of the low swampy areas both sweet and rotten with decaying vegetation.

When Elrych stops, she peers ahead through the obscuring branches, searching for the telltale straight lines of tumbled down walls now softened by plants and vines. To their left the arc of a waterfall can just be seen, it seems to spring magically out of the mountain itself and form a pool that they can look down into from their vantage point. The dark, darting shapes of fish are visible in the transparent waters. On the other side of the lake to the west, a vast green form slowly resolves itself into an Ursosaur as if the very mountain had moved. Lumbering through the trees, a more distant herd browse the canopy of trees.

Rey is also near the back of the group, but just ahead of Aryn, her bag slung around her body, with a few items sticking out of it. She's holding a book in her hands and is reading it while they move, as multi-tasking has become a bit of a normalcy for the young Jedi. Add that on top of also doing her best to listen to the conversations, and commentary, from her traveling companions and she's left occasionally looking up to one of them too.

She does that when Elrych says 'Palpy' like that. For 'whatever reasons' that could be. But ultimately she just looks back down again to her book, and flips a page.

When the others speak of seeing the spires of what could be the Temple, this is when Rey looks up again. She moves forward to get closer to them to join them and lowers the book down to her waist, closing it quietly, but keeping a thumb within it to keep her place.

She stares at the horizon like the others do, but her mind is on the feeling of the place before them. "It's on the vergence in the Force." Rey adds, a soft tone flavoring her words. "It's strong, like Yavin Four. Maybe stronger than that even. They built it over the vergence, like the other temples."

Elrych nods to Rey then looks to Zandra, "Maybe being born near the vergence makes you a bit more keen to the Force. I don't know." Elrych put away his water bladder and turned to head down the mountain and towards the ruins Vhe had seen.

The stone structures become more more clear as the terrain levels out and the come to what could only be described as an anchient campus in the middle of the Forest. It's massive just tall enough to barely break the canopy. It's mostly covered in vines and moss, some of te square structures turned almost to rubble. Yet the main one remains dead ahead. There is nothing but the sound of nature. That rushing river fall heard far off in the distance and the squaking cry of the sky snare.

"Well, best thing to do is get closer and see what is going on," Vhe remarks as the others confirm sightings and with Rey speaking of how strong it is, she hesitates and then slips away from the group to begin the descent downwards in a fluid silence that works well with her lithe figure. The new cylinder at her side sways in place with the kirruk tooth firmly attached. Shehe grips the rock face and going lower still she uses the foliage to cover her passage as she ducks down here and there and keeps her booted feet from sending stone skittering or branch breaking underfoot.

"I think that makes sense," Zandra says, as she takes a couple steps and finds a loud cracking twig beneath her feet. She looks around, but isn't really spying anything other than trees, waterfall, more trees, still more trees, and oh, another crackling twig. She also finds a hole in the ground, that nearly topples her over, weeble, weeble, wobble, wobble, and there she goes, with a kerplop onto the ground, pausing to blow her breath out in a huff. "You know, I think I should have just marched up to the entrance and knocked on the door," she mutters ruefully.

Aryn rises from her seat, but notices the ground and traces a trail that leads toward the structures the others have indicated. Taking a moment to 'read' the trail, she squints her eyes. "This is a game trail, no-- this is well traveled. I see the marks of sentient, human-like feet. There's telltale signs of what seems like.. heavy equipment. Construction maybe?"

The pusillanimous noble moves down the path to follow this trail, using her stick to keep her pace manageable.

When they come into range of the structure, Aryn takes a moment to be a tourist and produces her datapad from a cadger at her side to snap a picture. "These symbols are of the Order, but it is mix-matched. Like this place has been reconstructed many times. This could very well be the apotheosis of this iteration.." Aryn was drek at gossiping, and truthfully, all she emphasized was how much of a nerd she is.

Looking ahead rather than at her feet, Liren nearly face plants as her toe catches on a root she didn't see in time. Rustling branches mark her progress as she tries to stop herself. Camping and learning wilderness skills seemed so far from the kind of life she imagined for herself growing up. In the distance, an Ursosaur raises its head to peer at the noisy humans.

Rey starts to put the book she'd been carrying away as the others start downward and into the thick of it to get to where they need to go. As she slides the book away, she comments. "I spoke to the man in the village about this place. He said that his brother used to ride out here to try and explore it, and that if we took the south road in, that we'd get there faster. But, then his brother showed up and said that the south road washed out a year ago during a bad flood, but I think the both of them were intoxicated and neither truly knew what place I was even speaking out, either way... we seem to be here." Was that gossip? If it was, it was bad gossip!

Aryn's words draw Rey's attention, she's near tothe New Alderaanian when the picture is snapped, but she's moving ahead, and pausing to help Liren from faceplanting, if able to. "Careful, this place has a lot of pit falls, quite likely." She says with a soft smile before looking back tothe temple that is on all their minds now.

"We could explore this place for a very long time... This could be one of the more significant locations we've come across, in fact."

"Wait Vhe, what are you doing, do you sense people?" Elrych asks in a yelled whisper. She's too quick for him as she disappears out of his sight. He attempts to walk quietly on the balls of his feet yet there are too many branches and leaves on the ground. He's pretty good at keeping hidden though, wearing a poncho over his robes in very similar fashion to Aryn. It helps, at least. He tries to reach out with the force to see if he can detect any life, yet... can't.

Somehow he catches up with Vhe and enters the large stone structure at the far end of the campus. It's dark... too dark. He trips and falls onto the floor, groaning. "UHGGG."

Those who enter and light the place up or use another method of seeing in the dark notice the inside is much like other Jedi temples, muraled with the Order's symbol. People havn't been here in ages and there's no sign of equipment yet. There are several ways to travel but one might need a sense of direction to decide where to go next.

"I operate under the assumption there is always someone..or something," Vhe remarks in the wealth of her street smarts that does not always apply to everything and yet she still does ..apply it. The Ysanna watches as more than a few start to wobble on the uneaten terrain and she turns, catching herself short as she back tracks to help Zandra back to her feet. "Careful..it seems we are going the direct approach so..lets get to that path."

Guiding the other back towards the path, she glances to the others who are openly studying the structure before them. Aryn's words draw her attention but releasing Zan once they both are on easier ground to trend she steps closer and then slowly lowers, bracing her fingers wide to touch the remnants of the path. Her head tilts back and Vhe reaches through the Force as the past pours through her. She utters out what she sees. "Jedi..so many and this place revered," obvious. She continues. "The Sith...they destroyed it and built their own....but..there has been recent activity here...regular non force sensitive humans who were looking for something. Their path led them towards the caves...but." She pauses opening her eyes as she slowly rises upwards. "If we go inside the balcony of this temple will show us the Sith's construct."

Zan gives a grin to Vhe, at her coming over to help her out. "Thanks, Vhe," she says softly. "It looks like the frontal approach is indeed the way we're going." She accepts the help, until she's back at the path, and then she pauses by Vhe as the other senses the echo. For her part, she reaches for the Force and concentrates, sending her awareness out to check for life signs. "There's something alive below. Under the earth. It's faint, but I am sure there's something down below." Wait, did Vhe say ... caves? Oh. Goody. "Tell me next we have to go under that waterfall, and it'll be a perfectly horrid trip, this one." Since Zan's swimming is still not so good.

Aryn lowers her datapad, placing it back upon her belt to keep it in a safe place. The words of the others are heard, and they have her attention whilst she falls in behind their Paragon, remaining quiet for now. She does not add anything else to their analysis, it seemed as if the insight Vhe provided, coupled with Zandra's, was mapping out what was to follow.

"I hope the water feels good," is all Aryn offers cheerfully, in case they were going under a watefall. She manages a small smile.

It takes a moment for Liren's eyes to adjust to the dark. Waiting, she listens to Vhe reading the Temple through the Force. She builds the ancient structure in her mind, reaching out to further the mind map. The thunder of the water cascading down the mountain's side has a distant echo here where it carved a vast reservoir underground. More to the point, when she lights her stunsaber, writings describe an enormous funnel leading down into the earth. Vhe's reading of the area mentions them and the path that could take them there.

Rey adjusts the strap of her satchel and starts forward further. She pauses at the sight of a fallen pillar that had become half submerged into the earth and claimed by the natural foliage growing up around it. She stares at a carved face inside the pillar for a moment before she looks back to the others.5r "The caves." She says. "I felt something, in that vicinity, when we first arrived here." She nods once and motions toward them. "That's where we have to go, the source of this place... I believe. it's hard to say. Everything here feels... jagged, unrefined, but pwerful."

She glances up toward the daylit sky. "It's fascinating that a world this strong in the Force, also sees literal Darkness so rarely..." She adds, with her eyes blinking a few times as she looks down again and starts forward once more to join the others out of the sunlight, moving at a quick clip to her pace.

Clearly she's 'in to' this place, almost like a kid in a candy shop.

"Yeah... it only gets dark when the two suns eclipse one another. It's a binary system but the planet only orbits one star." Elrych mentions to Rey, there were ghost stories about the darkness and the darkside, but that way more down Liren and Aryn's alley to discover in the ruins.

The Corellian, having picked himself up, starts towards the caves. Luckily there are carved out windows along the way that look over Aca's Funnel. A Stepped funnel that leads right down into the Cenote. The natural cave where the vergance was most powerful. Across the otherside of the Funnel is the Sith Pyramyd. A More jagged and gnarly structer than the organized square blocks of the temple. It was in just as much disrepair as the building they were in. The south road Rey had mentioned would have taken them through there.

The hall way slowly descends untill they are clearly in a Maxe of Caves, surrounded by darkness. Elrych cracks a glowstick and leaves them behind after a certain length just incase.

Vhe follows with the others towards the cave, her steps careful as they get near. The Ysanna is taken with the location, her eyes searching the area they are going through not just for important things but to take it in. What everyone says is sort of draw in and processed but she pauses a moment to touch the side of the cave, hoping once more the Force will help guide her in that moment. But the echoes of their passage and the sound of life around them drowns out any hope she has of hearing anything of import. The Force as well turns up nothing and she can offer the group no more information, her lips parting as she opens her eyes and lets the heavy darkness sweep over her. Sight becomes of little importance now.

Zan makes her way along with the group, her gaze going from one to the other as they talk. As things get darker, she frowns, but hangs in there, listening carefully to see if she can hear anything, see anything - sense anything. It's a toss up, but she definitely is trying. She absently rubs at her left arm, over the scars that are still there, though slowly fading. Quiet now, though she looks to the others to see. then she adds in, "I think I can hear something, but I'm not quite sure what. Or where."

Aryn stays at the back of the group, switching on her wrist light to angle up at the runes carved into the stone. Ancient symbols and ancient language which once carried meaning and purpose. She runs her hands over the carvings, quietly smiling and wondering what secrets they might hold if they could read them. When Zandra expresses that she hears something, it comes as a surprise to Aryn, who finally turns her attention toward the others and follows along, thanks to Elrych leaving glow sticks to mark their trail. Smart man.

Liren sheathes her stunsaber. The darkness between the glowsticks left by Elrych seems to exaggerate the sound of their footsteps. Being at the end of the line allows her to stop from time to time. She closes her eyes, straining to decipher a distant sound. Zandra seems to hear the same thing. With a few quick steps, she catches up to the others.

"Something is up ahead. I'd swear there are voices - a low rumbly one and a higher-pitched one, like a man and a woman talking. Is that possible?"

Rey steps over one of the glowsticks and walks past Aryn and Liaren at the back. "Anything's possible, so we've found out, in places like this." She says with a slight smile on her way by. Moving up toward the others, Rey glances at Elrych, "Did you fall?" She asks him, noting dirt all over his clothes. "We're all needing to be on alert, whatever is in here... caverns are trecherous, even without other explorers potentially inside them. Watch your heads too."

She steps onward and nods up ahead. "The good news is I still feel... whatever's down here... but the bad news is that it's been getting progressively more faint since we first found the place. But that might be a side effect of getting closer."

With Rey knowing where she was going and what she was doing, her keen direction sense lending them strength in the maze of tunnels. The wals finally smoth out into an opening. Light streams through The Dome from up above where the opening to Acra's Funnel and the jagged tunnel of the Cnote is, acting as a Skylight. It illuminated this massive cavern, a walk way moving along the edge where more cave entrances are. THe walls are smooth, lined with both Sith and Jedi like Murels, some painted over others as the two sides fought for control of the place of melenia.

There is a platform in the center, detatched from the walk way. No bridge ot get to it, other than that artifical one that's been put there by the two people standing on that platform.

One is an older man, in his 50's or Forties, wearing a Corellian Cut jacket and First class bloodstripes on his breeches. The style is a lot like Elrych's but instead of blue this person prefered browns. The woman, dressed in blackened robes had dark hair and spoke with a thick accent. "It is not here. They told me it was here."

"Well maybe it fell down there." The man points out pointing to the abyss bellow, a sheer drop from the walk way. Star Wars strikes again with its lack of railing off of giant cliffs... alas, there was water bellow.

Elrych heard the voices too, after Liren and Zandra mentioned them... "I hear 'em too..." He whispers, loudly. He wasn't very good at being quiet. He tried to slink, to get a better look, but stumbles forwards as a piece of rock broke off the wall and onto the ground.

The man and woman turned towards Elrych was staggered out of the entry way, shining their light on him.

The talking is caught only after others speak of it and Vhe pauses, tilting her head a moment as she listens. But then there is El stumbling out into view and the light sweeping towards him. Instinct kicks in and she steps forward just after him and puts herself into position just at his back reaches out with the Force. Its nothing something amazing - so she can feel but as she stretches out her abilities she strains to present a shield, however weak it is just in case they decide that there is a need to fire upon them. The light is blinding and she squints, turning her head just so as she speaks plainly to El. "I have your back..." she says, her hands flexing, fingers spreading to help keep the shield in place.

Zan nods as there's talk of the voices, though she wasn't sure what she heard. Now of course, they can hear and see the people there. Her breath catches as Elrych staggers out, and she moves up as well, to stand next to him. Hopefully without staggering. "Hello, are you lost too?" she calls out. Misdirection might work, one never knows. And she's got no clue who these folks are, or what they are looking for, right?

Aryn is among the last to enter this chamber and even though the lights are shown their way, her light angles up, looking at the murals and ancient art depicted here. After a moment of being the awkward person she is, Aryn speaks up. "Good health to you, my friends." Her light angles toward them, taking some measure of who they are. "First Class bloodstripes," She observes. "You are a Corellian hero. You have my respect, sir. I trust there is no contention about us sharing this space?" Aryn aristocratic accent shown through when she gave her voice volume. It was one of those rare moments where she did not seem so timid. She had a good teacher.

Elrych scares her as it looks like he is going to join the rock that went over the edge. Liren's attention returns to the man and woman standing in the center platform. Each time she tries to formulate a greeting, she stops herself. None of them fall right on her ear. Aryn greetings strike her as being much more appropriate than anything she had imagined hence her silence.

Rey steps out, once they've exposed themselves, and off to the side. her eyes go to her friends and then to the others up ahead. Her hood is up, the white fabric gently swaying around the sides of her face as she watches, but otherwise remains silent.

"That's funny, we were about to ask you the same question..." Chimes in the woman. It's hard to place her accent, the system it comes from anyways. It was certainly different.

"We were?" Asks the man before turning his head back to the others. His hand hovers over his pistol at his hip. He inspects Elrych a bit more as Vhe comes out and puts up her shields. "Oh drek..." He says under his breath.

Elrych rights himself, holding up his hand to block the light shining in his face with his palm. He looks towards Vhe, his free hand moving to touch her elbow lightly in thanks. Blue eyes look past and see... a familiar face. "No it's can't be..."

"Ah, hey kid..."

"Drayson Corbin... you're supposed to be dead..."

"Yeah not so much..."

"I saw you die... like blaster shot through the chest..."

"Funny story about that..."

Elrych opens up with the force, skimming his memories of that day. He saw his whole unit killed again in a flash. He'd made peace with that long ago. Including the death of his Fiance... but not one of them, his CO has risen from the dead... No... he saw the First Order officer pay him visits... several over the years. "It was a set up..."

Drayson pales... "Drek..."

The others come out and suddenly the two are outnuumbered. Vhe gave them away with her shielding technuiqe.

Aryn cuts through the Darama... fitting her awkward personality. "Right..." The woman says, "No problem... we were just leaving."

Corbin looks to the Woman in dismay, "What?! Do you know the price on something like that? No way!"

The woman starts to drag the man back over the plank they had set up... yet missteps and the both begin to fall into the water down bellow!

Vhe gives El a nod but as the others exchange words with him she pauses, giving him a look as she holds the shield in place. A questioning look. But as the two turn to go despite the attempts to speak with them, the Ysanna watches as they plummet. Her lips part and close and she releases the shield in a hurry as the Force she has wrapped around them for protection is extended outwards. Her hand flexes and spreads, fingers widening as she shakes a moment, feeling herself extend and nearly fail. She manages to arrest Drayson's fall.

Her gaze flickers a moment, spreading her feet as she tries to draw them back towards them because, why not?

As there are people falling, Zan also reaches out with the force, her gaze going to the woman who is so intent on leaving that she walked off a bridge to nowhere. She concentrates, catching the woman and holding her there in the air for a long moment, before her telekinesis (maybe with help?) slowly draws her towards the relative safety where they are all standing. well, just a little bit away from them, on the edge of the abyss, at any rate.

Aryn is a paragon of calm as the dialogue begins. It's revealed that Elrych knows the man, or rather, they know each other. When Aryn is assured of no violence, she steps forward and continues walking even when the pair take bad steps and begin to fall. Aryn's response manifests in the form of a sibilant sound, like air drawn in after a sudden surprising wound, but she isn't surprised by the speed of her companions and the prowess they show in commanding the Force.

At the edge now, the awkward noble stands by as the two are suspended in mid-air, and shines her light down below to witness a glimmering response beneath the surface of the water. "I believe I have found our quarry," She issues in much the same aristocratic tone she'd taken before. Aryn glances up toward the ceiling, wondering if she should use her ascension line to drop down into the water, or if she might rely on her companions to draw the metallic items from the depths of the stream far below by using the force.

It's a day for falls. Falling water, Jedi stumbling on their path into the temple complex, stones falling. Liren gasps in shock at Corbin and the woman accompanying him going over the edge. She reaches out reflexively with the Force to both people plummeting into the abyss, adding her novice strength to the other Jedi.

Rey just moves slowly around the back perimeter of things as they start to 'fall into place'. She keeps her hands at her sides, as the others save the two explorers from potential peril. She looks toward Aryn when she hears the aristocrat's announcement, then back to the two that had been saved from falling into the drink down below.

"This site has long been absent of its owners." She tells them, as the Jedi students hold them in the air, returning them to safety. "But its owners have now returned. I kindly ask that you gather your things, and be on your way. There's plenty of places to search out, treasures to find and profit from. But none here, becasue they belong to us. The Jedi Order has returned to this place, you see."

Elrych might have been angry if he had found this out a year ago... yet... not today. Any flare of emotion other than the peace found in the force was gone. He watces on as Zandra, Liren, and Vhe bring them up from their doom in the water bellow. He steps up to Drayson, "You owe us now..." It's almost in a commanding tone...

Drayson is a bit out of breath, shocked from what just happened. The woman is just now starting to get to her feet. "Hell, Kid... you've changed."

Elrych smirks and backs away. "You might want to leave before you make another misstep..."

Drayson looks around, stil lcatching his breath. Slowly he rises. There's a tense moment between him and Elrych, almost as if standing off. The last time Drayson saw him he was running away with those stupid shades on. Now he stood there firm, confidenc, with steele resolve in his blue eyes. he knew when he'd loose a fight and no credits were woth being killed or worse by a Jedi. Even if Aryn had found what they were looking for... then there's the request from Rey. He looks down then nods slowly. "See you around, kid."

"I hope not..." Drayson and his partner turn and head back through the tunnels without another word.

Elrych waits until they disappear into the tunnels before he turns to the others. "I suppose that's why the Force pointed me towards this place in the Texts... something tells me we'll see him again... and with meaner people." He sighs, moving to Aryn, looking down. "Alright... back to buisness."

As they leave, Vhe turns about and glances to Aryn and what she holds but moves along to the side of the cave. Her hand comes to rest upon the stone even as she scans the area for anything to worry over. The Force does not answer her again when she tries, her lips pressing to a thin line as she can not single out any information in regards to the cave. Nothing of import anyways and its just ..a cave. Her hand draws back slowly, fingers curling inwards. "IS that the only thing that is here or did the texts mention anything else? I honestly...would like to see the sith temple from balcony if our business is concluded." But her eyes are for the direction Drayson and his friend went, watching and waiting.

She backs up a step, bringing her closer to the others as she goes.

Zan looks at Aryn, and then at Vhe. At least the other folks are leaving, so she lets Vhe keep watch. As Aryn points things out, Zan takes a breath and concentrates. She lets the Force flow through her and reaches for the shiny down below. It's a much smaller item, and she manages to pull it up without difficulty. As it tops the cliff edge is when she realizes that there is what's left of a hand firmly holding on to it. "Oh dear, looks like this didn't go down all on it's own," she says with dismay. You paged Aryn Cole with 'You did see soemthing else, but it was far bigger than a lightsaber. It's a the severed head and helmet of a Clone Trooper. Worn down from the water and what not. The armor looks like it was cut clean with a lightsaber.'

"Well done, Zandra," Aryn commends and smiles, but her attention reverts back to the chasm for now. Shining her high powered light below, Aryn spots something else in the water and extends her hand out, influencing the Force to draw up a second item. Unfortunately, whatever was inside this item fell into the water as the larger item emerged from the surface. It makes a PLUNK noise.

Once in hand, Aryn holds a singed clone trooper helmet, its plasteel exterior stained green with algae from prolonged exposure to the water. "I believe we know the fate of the late Master now." Betrayal. The helmet had the telltale signs of lightsaber combat. Even the purge had reached this world.

Blinded by the light, Liren blinks unable to see more than the reflection of other's lights shining on the surface of the water. Kneeling on the edge, she continues to peer downward hopeful that something will become apparent.

Rey watches their new found 'friends' exit, and though she gets an unsettling sensation from their body language, her attention ultimately goes toward Aryn. She steps toward her friend and moves up beside her to look at the helmet she'd pulled out of the water.

"He protected this place." She says quietly. "Up to the bitter end." She glances up to Aryn, then out to the others. "We've a lot more to see here, I think, we should head back to the surface and scout this place out, get a good understanding of its full layout. That way, when we return, there might be less surprises."

She looks to Elrych then. "I'd suggest, if you know anyone that could help with..." She nods to the exit. "Them. That you keep a watch on what they might be up to, I can't imagine they're pleased about this."

Rey starts toward the exit again herself, gicing one last glance around the room before she reaches for her satchel and some of the items within it.

Elrych nods to Rey, "I'll put some feelers out and see what I can do. I'll talk to some people to, see about putting up a security detail." He glances to Vhe a moment, giving her a breif smile in reassurance, expessing that same feeling in the force. "There's plenty more secrets this place has i'm sure..." There was a whole temple to explore, and the sith one if they were interested in that. Lots to do, and setting up camp and some rest sounded like the best idea for now. The Crown was here though and in the hands on the Jedi once more.
