Kylo Ren vs Waywards (and company)

OOC Date: January 3, 2016
Location: Serenno
Participants: Kael Greystorm, Rax Vaelus, Sar Yavok, Jaxon-Dax, Qadira Suuryet, A'isha Adella, Kylo Ren, Jictor Gubyls, Ax, Lofty, Waywards

Kadi is in the hangar, seated in a comfy sling chair, with a screwdriver in hand. She's fiddling with a contraption on her lap, made of wires, bolts, and metal doodads. As she works, she hums along to music only she can hear. One foot gently kicks the side of her chair, in time with her own music. The hangar has droids doing their thing, Waywards coming and going - the usual day to day activities. Lily is watching Kadi, and occasionally providing input via binary beepbeepwhirrblooping at her.

~The Waywards hangar seemed almost empty. The CR90 was no longer there, the Carrack was on Corellia loading up with cargo, and the other ships aside from a fighter and the new YT-1930 were in the hangar. Ax, though, was likely floating around somewhere, but not in sight at the moment.

Kadi is content where she is at the moment, though she does look out towards the main spaceport every once in a while, frowning a bit. But she returns to the widget she's cleaning up and taking apart, continuing to hum along to her invisible band. There might be a few less ships currently in the hangar, which maybe explains Kadi's good mood - less work for her!

~Ax finally ventures out of the turbolift, freshly showered and dressed. A pack was slung over his shoulder, showing it looked like he might be planning for a trip of some kind. Maybe that was the rush for buying the YT-1930, it was a relatively common ship and didn't stand out. Of course, if it was the Shadowdancer he planned on taking, it also meant he had room for others.

Kadi glances up, as she hears movement. And Lily beeps at her, which also catches her attention, as Lily spots Ax first. "Hey, Ax, what's going on?" Kadi asks, that foot stopping with the gentle kicking, and her humming stopping. She's seated in a sling chair, set out of the way in the hangar, which feels emptier than previously due to missing ships out and about their business.

~Ax shifted the pack on his shoulder. "Preparing for a trip. Probably a wild goose chase, but who knows how it pans out. Getting some gear loaded onto the Dancer before hand." he says as he walks towards the engineer. "Remember that one creep with the laser sword? Well, for some damned reason I bribed an NSEC official for that guy's jump vectors. Ran them through a couple of droids, and well, narrowed it down to a few systems." Of course, that doesn't explain why the man is going to follow, just that he was preparing to.

"That sounds like it's probably dangerous," Kadi says, with a bit of a frown. "Considering you were telling me to stay back or return inside here, when he was out there." She sets her small box down, tossing the screwdriver into it. "Are you going to bring back up?" she asks, trying to figure out what exactly she is wanting to know, even as she asks.

The Turbo-lift doors his open and the slim Lethan emerges. A'isha is in off-duty attire to day; a long, close fitting dress,, high necked, long-sleeved, back-less.. Of course this latter is only apparent when the is walking away. Her blaster still rides at her hip, a pounch is hung at the other one. She glide out into the hanger, spotting the Guild-Mates...SHe smiles brightly and waves. "Hello...." Yes, this ithe Courtesan voice, perhaps her is moonlighting, or on her way to do so.....

~"Well, I didn't say I was going to go alone, or that I was going to try to stop the guy, just learn a little bit about him and what he's after," Ax says. He starts to say something, as A'isha approaches. As she draws near, the man winces visibly, hand going to his gut, eyes strained shut. "What the hell?" he exclaims, his head jerking a bit due to some strange impulse. Last time he'd been around the Lethan, he had a similar reaction, though stronger. Maybe he was allergic to twi'leks, or her perfume maybe.

A cloaked and hooded figure quietly steps into the Waywards private hangar from Parmac's, pausing a few feet inside to take a long look around, cataloguing everything he can see. When he sees Ax, Jictor reaches up and lowers his hood -- that's the very man he came here to see. Although he's normally not concerned about such things, Jictor remains in place so as to not appear threatening. Instead, he speaks in a loud, but calm voice, "I am here to speak to the leader of the Waywards."

Kadi blinks a bit, at the odd reaction that Ax has. "You okay?" she asks, since it looks like he might be having a seizure or something. "Hey, A'isha." But her attention is more on Ax now, totally not paying attention to or even worrying about possible trips. Though then Jictor arrives and Kadi turns to face him, just in case. Not that she has any clue what she could do, but she can always try something.

A'isha stops in her tracks, She has seeen theis reaction before, the Captain literally ran off the last time. "Captain Sir? Are you well?" She places her bag on a nearby trolley and withdraws a medkit from it, the steps toward the stricken human. Her Lekku writhe nervously....

~It takes Ax a moment, but he manages to compose himself. He looks a little more pale than usual, and he's not completely fine, but he manages to stand up. He looks to Kadi, obviously not feeling well, but faking it as best as possible. "I'll be alright," he says, though not overly convincing. He then looks towards the newcomer, "Hold on a damned minute," he calls out to Jictor. "I'll be with you shortly." Hopefully after further composing himself. "What's in the bag, Red," he asks looking towards her. It didn't seem to get worse as she approached, maybe not better, but not worse.

Whatever it was, it was emanating from the bag she dropped and got the medkit out of.

Jictor doesn't really react at all to Ax's comment -- his head cocks slightly to the right, but ohterwise he simply folds his arms across his chest and waits. There's no point in causing a confrontation.

Kadi is just worried about Ax, honestly. She warily watches Jictor, but as he seems to be ready to wait a moment or so, she looks to Ax and to A'ishs, with some puzzlement. Quietly. Lily keeps her optical sensor on Jictor, though the R2 unit isn't particularly a threat to anyone, except maybe Jax.

A'isha stops in her track, a puzzled expression on her face, her Lekku go quite still. The she turne back to the Bag, lifting it. "Somes cosmetics, a knife, perfume..." May be that is it? "...and some personal things..." The trilling accesss fase a bit at this last. The tarnished gold eyes cut to Jictor. A Man not a stranger to her by any means. But not Crew Either. "I would rather show Kadi...or you...or both...." Now the dark contralto is no longer dialed to eleven. Still soft, dark and musical. But Red is definitely in the ascendancy now. She offers a smile to other man, then steps to her fellows. Her movement reflect the shift; no longer sultry, more...predatory. Her Lek writhe like the tails of a great cats......

~Much against his gut instinct, Ax approaches A'isha, pulling Kadi along with him. "Is that.." he asks, a hand moving towards the bag as she opens it slightly. It goes inside, as if to pick up something but immediately withdraws. There's a long pause as if it's like he's seen a ghost or something more frightening than he can handle at the moment. "Get it away, lock it in a dark damned hole somewhere. We'll talk about it another time." The man was visibly shaken, much more than any present have ever seen him. No, he was not alright. He just backs away, looking like he was going to be sick or pass out, distance seemed to improve that as he backed away, heading towards the hangar entrance, where Jictor was. Trying to regain his composure before turning to face the geriatric. Taking a deep breath, he turns to the man. "You found him. What can I do for you?" he asks, his voice shaken.

Kadi's expression is totally worried - she's got no poker face, and it shows. There's a reason she doesn't gamble, there is. What she does though, she moves with Ax, as he tugs her along, and she hangs onto his hand after. He might be okay without, but it makes her feel better.

Although vaguely bemused by whatever was happening with Ax and the Twi'lek courtesan, it wasn't anything that especially interested Jictor at the moment -- he had more pressing concerns on his mind. When Ax finally makes his way over, Jictor immediately responds, "I saw you speaking with NSec in the starport after the... incident a couple of nights ago. I spoke to them as well. Under normal circumstances I would prefer to investigate the matter myself, but..." he trails off, taking a moment to decide exactly how to proceed, then continues, "I've already made certain inquiries. I believe following that man may be more dangerous than I'd first anticipated." He finally glances over to Qadira and A'isha, and offers them both a small nod.

Red watches Ax's reaction, listens to his words. Her Lekku keep writhing, slowly now. Her tawny gaze widens....and intensifies as she regards the Echani. Her voice is soft as a ghosts's whiper. "Yees Ax, I shall do so. She stesp back, glancing at her Kadi, meeting her gaze, face....expressionless. Then the turns to move away, heading for the turbolift. Her smile she offers Jictor is dazzling, sweet. But her eyes, they are...haunted perhaps......"

~ Talk of something else, as well as further distance between him and whatever the hell A'isha had in the bag seemed to help the Echani gain his composure. Having Kadi tag along with him helped as well. He still had a distant look to his expression, and it takes him a moment to realize what Jictor is talking about. "I.." he mutters, rubbing a hand over his face and eyes, wiping a bead of sweat from his forehead. "Sorry, not feeling myself today, allergies or a bug," he says, maybe if he says it enough he'll believe it himself, right? "Yeah. Talk may not be the right word, dropped twenty grand on some intel." He pulls out a datapad, his hands still shaking a bit. "Show me yours and I'll show you mine. And yeah, I ain't going after that guy alone, or at all... but I'd like to know what he's after and who he is."

Kadi frowns a bit, watching A'isha. "Hey, Red?" she calls. "Can I get your help with something later? If it's okay?" That said, she turns back to Jictor and Ax, leaning in lightly against Ax's side. Clueless, she's sure not feeling any allergies or anything. "Sharing information seems like it might be a good idea," she says softly. "Though if I ran into whoever this guy is in the street, I wouldn't know it." She shrugs a bit, brow furrowing, as she keeps an eye on Ax. "Should I give Maeve a call, see if maybe there's time for a visit to her clinic?"

One of Jictor's eyebrows raises slightly at Ax's condition, but he makes no comment on it. Glancing down at the datapad, he shakes his head slightly. Jictor was not in the habit of simply handing out information freely, but it could be worth it just this once. "I am nearly certain he went to Serenno. It's not verified, of course... but after investigating his hyperdrive trajectory, I contacted Serenno." A small frown appears on his face. "There was no reply. None whatsoever. As though communications across the entire planet had been shut down. Do you know anything beyond that?" His eyes flash over to Qadira and he adds, "Dr. Zavir is an excellent physician." And Jictor is invested in her having as many patients as possible.

Red glances back over her should at Kadi's words. The effect is very feline, that quick, intent gglance and the writhing Lekku. "Of course, Kadi, anything to be of help." SOft, precie diction. still musical, though not as much as the Courtesan....With that Red turns and pad to the Turbo-lift, the doors hiss open and she vanishes within....

~ "You got as much as I do then, looks like NSec gave us both the same data," Ax says, pulling up some vectors. "I cross-checked his jump vectors through a few droids. Serenno squeeked out 4% better match than Kashyyyk, and 24% better than Dathomir, but it doesn't mean that's where he went. I'm checking some older star charts as well to make sure that there isn't something better than a 74% match." Ax pauses a moment, punching some things into the datapad, pulling up a basic map. "Did you say that communications went down in the Serenno system? If so, I guess there's no need to keep looking. That guy was bad news, a lot worse than the thugs he arrived with. And it ain't the laser sword, either. I mean, that didn't hurt the bad feeling, but he was definitely...." He just shakes his head. "Sorry, like I said, not feeling the best today," he says when he realizes he's rambling and sounding like a complete wuss.

Kadi nods to Jictor in reply, listening to the information on scarysworddude, whoever that was. She shivers a bit, just listening to the talk. "Sounds like a place to avoid for a while," she says. "Though if there was trouble going down, it's probably too late by now." She frowns for a moment. "And if you're catching a cold, Ax, no sharing it."

Kael Greystorm meanders out the ramp of the Shadowdancer stretching a bit, "Love this ship. Not quite as much as the Banshee but she's a pretty epic lil ship on the inside." He looks around the hangar and spots folks so he heads over towards them a bit, "Well hello there Kadi and..." He looks at Jictor and frowns, "You look familiar sir not quite sure where I may have seen you before."

"Communications could be down in the Serenno system for another reason, of course... but that would be quite the coincidence. It seems likely that is where he went, although there is no guarantee that he remains there now -- as your friend here just mentioned." Jictor offers another small nod to Kadi, then waves a hand dismissively at Ax's apology. "There's no need to apologize," he says, then falls silent, looking past Ax and the others as he runs through several scenarios in his head. "However," he continues, refocusing on Ax, "between the..." he pauses once again, considering, then decides to stick with their phrasing, "'laser sword' and the whole scenario in general, I would very much like to know more. I think it would be worth investigating the Serenno system to see what has happened there." When Kael arrives and offers a greeting, Jictor simply responds, "Jictor Gubyls." Which is actually the first time he's even introduced himself. What an ass.

~ Ax nods. "Yeah, I gotta admit that my curiosity is peeked, I'd planned a trip to Serenno anyway, you're more than welcome to accompany me. Was thinking of dragging that old pirate Rax along as well, and a few of my people. Safety in numbers and all that." he pauses a moment, slowly gaining more composure, but still shaken up. "I do know, at least I've heard, that he was talking about relics. Could be a profitable mission if we can figure out what he's after and maybe somehow get to it first. I don't mind foiling a douchebag like that's plans as long as he doesn't immediately figure out who did it."

~ Ax turns to Kadi, smiling. "I feel better already." he says. Well, better was a relative term, he still felt like hell, but it wasn't quite as intense as before. His mind was still processing things.

~ Then, there's a look to Kent from the Echani. "She needs some work done to her. Still has that new ship smell, gotta get rid of that and slam in some bigger engines. Way too slow for my tastes."

"Hey, Kael," Kadi says, though she leaves it there, for the moment. She makes note of Jictor's name, since she probably didn't hear it before. "Mr. Gubyls," she says with a nod of her head. She gives Ax a glance, not sure she believes him, but letting it slide for now.

Kael Greystorm waves towards Ax, "Skipper. I assume I'll be one of the ones you'll want to take along? I'll have to make a stop at the Soul before we go anywhere I've gotta pick up my gear from the Banshee. Maybe pick up the Banshee around then as well. I mean for a freighter she's pretty well armed..." He looks over at Jictor and nods, "Pleasure to meet you Mr. Gubyls. And if we're talkin bout that guy from the other night at the spaceport I'm down for relic hunting..."

"Relics?" Jictor repeats, both eyebrows raised -- which is quite the reaction for him. "He said he was after relics?" He takes a deep breath and looks off to the side, his brow furrowed in thought. "Yes," he mutters quietly, then looks back to Ax and says the word again, this time more clearly. "I would be interested in coming along. When do you plan to go?" Under these circumstances, strength in numbers does seem like the smartest option.

the Lift doors hiss open again, this time Red stalks out, sans pounch and its content. No longer in her dress, she is in her Guild outfit. Her eyes flic about taking in the scene, the fingers of her left hand linger close to her Blaster, idly drumming on the taur muscles of her thigh. "Captain, Kael, Kadi." Soft tones, a brief nod. To Jictor a flash of a smile, teeth very white. "Hello...." Her Lekku wrthe slowly, calmly now.

~ Ax nods to Kent. "Yeah, I need to as well. It's on Corellia still, but should be loaded. I'll have some of the crew get her enroute to Kashyyk for delivery and we can meet up with them in space."

He looks back to Jictor, then to Kael and Kadi, and even Red. "Well, if everyone else is down, we can depart immediately. Want to go hunting relics and potentially face a man who may be evil incarnate, Red?" He then glances to Kadi. "I'm not going to ask you to go, nor am I going to ask you to stay, my love. I don't want you in danger, but were the roles reversed, I don't think I'd want to stay behind. It is truly up to you." He looks back to Jictor. "Well, I can probably get ahold of Rax over comms. He was pretty interested, and the man is damned good with a blade. I do need to go by my other ship and pick up some things though, or at least I'd feel more comfortable doing so. I'd almost like to bring the carrack if I weren't so concerned that it would draw a great deal of attention."

Kadi simply arches a brow. "I'm going," she replies immediately. "no way in this universe I'm going to stay behind here while you go off to put yourself in danger. Who would keep the ship together?" She doesn't even believe that for a second, but it's worth a try, anyway. "For now, what do you need me to do?" There's a moment before she grins mischievously. "And hey, maybe I'll get practice shooting or something."

Kael Greystorm nods a bit, "I'm good to go whenever you want boss." He looks at the ships here, "Which one? The Shadowdancer?"

"Evil Incarnate you say...." Red voice is soft still, but it carries, like scented smoke on the breeze. "There is so much...evil. in the Universe. Such a title would demand much effort." She pads up to the rest , nearly soundlessly. Not the blinding sensuality of her earlier movements. No, something more primal now. Red in claw and tooth...She stands, hipslung, hand now on blaster. Something in her eyes...one would think she KNOWS such eveil, at first hand. "Count me in....."

"Miss Adella," Jictor says with a glance over at the Twi'lek. "The sooner the better, in my opinion," he adds towards Ax, glancing around the interior of the hangar again. "And I agree that bringing a full Carrack into the system may not be prudent. Especially if things are worse than we expect and a quick exit is required. What vessels do you plan to use?"

~ "Honestly, may not be a bad idea to take the Banshee," Ax says. "If we've got to pick up gear from the Soul anyway, we might as well take it. Gonna be a bit cramped, but the ship is quick and well armed, but I'm gonna pilot." He looks to the others gathered, "A helix-class light freighter may as well be a damned starfighter." He picks up his comm and radios for Rax. He'd told the man if he found out anything he'd let him know. Well, he knew something. "I'll get the ship powered up then."

"I'm flattered..." Rax Vaelus strides in as Red is commenting on 'Evil Incarnate' and her disbelief, but the huge human pirate's tone is flat and deadpan, and his eyes are heavily lidded as he nods across the distance to Ax, "I got your message. Ready to roll." He's wearing his sword, his blaster, and it's all he's apparently brought with him for the journey.

Kadi takes a breath, not believing what she just volunteered for. "Mr. Vaelus," she greets Rax, still not sure about any of this. "Hello again." She looks over at the group, and inches closer to A'isha. Crazy men, that's what.

Normally Jictor would fly himself there and rendevous with the others in the system, but... he had a feeling that it would be better to leave his ship behind. "I will return shortly," the former Guildmaster says. "I need to collect some items from my ship."

~ Ax leans over to Kadi, giving the woman a gentle kiss. "Thanks, baby. Having an engineer aboard is definitely better than not having one. You might save all our asses." He then leans his head back and whistles before turning back to Jictor. "I'll get things ready here, then we've got to pick up the Banshee from Corellia, unless you think a Carrack-class light cruiser is a better choice. Honestly, I think it just screams for too much attention. Same reason I wasn't thinking of flying wing in a TIE Avenger."

"Mr. Gubyls..." Red answers with equal courtesy, then notes the new arrival. A Familar face too. "It is like old home week, is it not. Rax, I had not seen you since the Meltdown." Her tone is coolly friendly. Perhaps a touch of banter there as well. SHe glances to Kadi, her smile warms a touch, Her Lekku flick once and subside.

~ Ax then looks over to Rax. "Yeah, its time to get going. Looks like Seranno is our destination, but it's under a complete comms blackout."

Rax Vaelus nods to Kadi, his expression grim and his tone serious, "Your grace." As the mysterious man leaves, Rax watches him go with narrowed eyes. "...That man looked familiar..." Then, the twi'lek adds a name, "Gubyls... Why does that sound so familiar..." He shrugs, turning toward A'isha, "Yes, and I am very glad for that fact. I would have hated having to collect. Luckily, Strand has cleared your debt." No hostility. Not even sarcasm. Just business.

~ After a quick, albeit cramped, trip to Corellia to pick up the Lost Soul, the merry band of adventurers set off to the Seranno system. The Carrack was a large ship, capable of housing more than a thousand, but was set up to operate with as few as two. Granted, it wasn't overly combat capable with only two so having more people was definitely a boon. It was also fast, much faster than a ship of its size should be. With the aid of droids, the adventurers, and the other crew of the ship, a course is set, a hyperspace vector is calculated, and they're off. Starlight screams past as the ship travels at speed greater than that of light towards their new destination. "I sure as hell hope this isn't a one-way trip." Ax mutters from the cockpit as the nav-computer beeps signalling that the trip was almost over.

Kadi checks engineering, making sure the Soul is in top form. She doesn't mess with things but is there in case there are any issues. There's enough time for her to fret, that's for sure. (And probably a good thing Lily is no longer reporting back to Kadi's parents.) The R2 unit is with Kadi, and sticks close to her, as usual.

"Have some faith," Rax counsels, his gaze focused but distant as he stares out the window. "Believe you will conquer your foes and you will do so. Or you will die, and you won't have to regret having wasted so much time worrying." His eyes narrow, "If you've never seen a lightsaber in action, let me give you some helpful advice: Don't let the woman in the mask get close to you, if we encounter her. Keep her away, no matter the cost."

Lofty the Talz waddles on to the bridge like a giant white Wampa, his lower eyes squinting against the brightness of the Carrack cruiser's displays. The alien has a bandage on his right arm that looks rather expertly done. He is here with Sar and has a rifle just in case. "System dead?" he asks Sar Yavok, whom he had tagged along with.

Red takes a seat, checking her spare magazines, her pistol and dagger with an ease and familiarity that belie one is a Courtesan. Perhaps there is more to her than meets the eye. Having checked her gear, she sits back, golden eyes half-closed. Conserving energy, waiting like a vateran for battle.....

Sar Yavok is seated in the co-pilot's chair, checking a few readouts. So far, so good. "How much did you end up paying that guy? I dropped more than a handful and didn't get shit." He turns in the chair and looks over at Lofty, "Seems that way."

Kael Greystorm is with the rest of the folks gathered up in what he's assuming is the Bridge dressed for war... Full armor, sword strapped to his back twin blaster pistols on his thighs and he's holding a new rifle, "So this is interesting. Why do I have such a bad feeling about this?"

Jictor is sitting off by himself, checking the small arsenal of weapons he brought with him just in case. He doesn't seem especially interested in talking to anyone else on the ship at the moment; in fact, the weapons checking appears to be no more than an idle activity to keep his hands busy. His brow is furrowed in thought.

~ "Twenty grand, all in all, Sar." Ax says to his copilot of the night. "I'm wearing my brown pants for a reason, Rax," Ax says. "Hard to chase someone when your slipping on the trail of loose bowel movements left in your trail." He was joking of course, well maybe. His pants were actually a dark grey. "I don't know about laser swords, much," he says. "Hopefully, if we encounter that guy or gal, it's in space where I've got the upper hand. No way a ship that size could do any real damage to this baby." Of course, there was always the exception to any rule. He checks the system readings, everything was operating at full. Even the shields and weapon systems were online and active. "Hope someone other than me knows how to fire a turbolaser or ion cannon," he says.

Ax looks back to Kael. "Well, that's because this is a very bad idea, but for a noble cause, or at least I hope it's a noble cause. Someone please get on the guns, we're about to leave hyperspace and I can only control a handful from this console, those in the front arc, and limitedly at that." Ax's hand goes to the hyperspace controls, "Five...Four...Three...Two..." and he pulls back on the lever, pulling the ship into realspace.

Rax Vaelus grips the back of the chair in front of him with one hand, leaning forward slightly for lightspeed deceleration. "Here's where the fun begins." Glancing over at Ax, he smirks, "No such luck. I'm boarding party, remember?" Looking over at A'isha sidelong, he hmms quietly, looking thoughtful before turning his gaze forward for the return to realspace.

Kael Greystorm shakes his head, "I'd be better off boarding party myself but I can give it a try... If nobody else can fire the turrets at all." He just frowns a bit as he moves to be near the turret but not hopping on just yet.

Sar offers a whistle a Ax's response, "I guess information ain't cheap." The captain slides the blaster from out of his holster and pops the powercell out of it, looking it over and making sure that everything's in order. "Still don't know why you folks decided to track this guy down, but then again, I'm planning a ground assault to get back an A-Wing, so who am I to judge, right?"

Red...her skillset is not tureeted weapons. Pistols, Knives and unarmed combat are her areas of expertise. "My skills are better...up close. Say Pistol ranges....." She laughs softly...

Looming against the background of dark space and Serenno's only sun, two forms are immediately apparent: one, the lush green and yellow planet of Serenno itself, and two: the biggest wedge-shaped Star Destroyer anyone had ever seen. While the Super Star Destroyer was longer by about two-thousand feet, this one felt bulkier. On the front of the arrow-shaped nose, a long nose with reinforced plating and a kind of dagger-like protrusion. You didn't want to be struck by the ship in flight. And they just set klaxons going on a console on the bridge. Currently, there are six TIE Fighter patrols on sensors, criss-crossing the planet.

Lofty the Talz gives a little lurch as the cruiser comes out of hyperspace into realspace. "Many fighter!" he coos with panic at Sar Yavok, and goes to fit his rather large bulk into a turret of some sort. Just in case.

It's been one hell of a week for the Ecnani, slowly coming up into the cockpit; JD starts to looks around slowly. She's wearing her sunglasses over her eyes and taking a deep breath gently to get her barrings and looks to those around her. "Anyway to sum up what's going on?" The woman askes as she's still looking like she's healing from her burns and injuries from the fight she was in the main hanger a while ago.

Star Destroyer. That classic dagger-shaped profile is instantly recognizable to anyone who even glances at the Holonet now and then. And Rax has seen it a lot. His eyes widen. Caution. Concern. Almost...fear. "That...is one. Big. Ship." He looks aside at Jictor, "Any chance they didn't immediately pick us up on radar?" When JD comes up, a large man with copper hair and lightning in his eyes turns to look at her, "Woman with a lightsaber made an appearance. Tracked her here. Star Destroyer. Possible death incoming." He gestures to the TIE fighters he can see.

~ "No no no no..." Ax mutters, his smuggler's instincts kicking in. You don't fight something like that. Shouting for a droid to give them a jump vector for anywhere other than where they were, he starts flying the 300 meter long ship in an evasive pattern. Suddenly, he wishes he were in his old YT-2000. It wasn't as heavily armed, but it was nearly as quick and a great deal more agile. "Kadi," he calls over the ship's intercomms. "We got enemy fighters and a destroyer in system. Give me everything you have to the shields and engines." He shoots a quick glance towards Kael. "Keep those fighters off of us." He's doing his best to keep the Lost Soul away from the Star Destroyer, the fighters were only a minor threat right now. "Sar, don't fight against the controls," he mutters. "I guarantee they've spotted us, Rax. No way to miss a light cruiser entering controlled airspace."

Red watches the sceen, sees the Deadly Huge thing out there. She doees not panic, she has seen far more death in her young life than mose would credit. "Ah, that is impressive. I wonder who is over compensating?" That last was from Her, the Courtesan, peering out through her eyes now.

Kadi gulps, eyes widening where she is in engineering. "Right," she manages, galvanized into action. "Right. Everything we got, shields and engines, you got it, Ax." And she is moving, relaying orders to the droids with her in engineering, as she gets moving on that one, stat.

"This is your show, Ax-man," Sar remarks, spinning the co-pilot's chair back around and keeping an eye on the readouts. "Lofty, get that turret up and running." His eyes move to the main view-port and he says, "Better get to plotting a new course, Ax. We're gonna need a bigger ship."

Jictor grits his teeth and lets out a heavy sigh. Standing up to look out one of the viewports, he mutters quietly to himself, "I should have known not to come here. Errors in judgment..." The man shakes his head, almost disgusted.

Kael Greystorm nods as he sits down and pulls up the targetting computer and matrix from the turret, "Rogio boss. I'll give those eyeballs something to worry about but doubt I'll hit too much."

Rax Vaelus narrows his eyes, "They have Star Destroyers... Or at least...*A* Star Destroyer." He seems to be talking mostly to himself. Tapping a curled finger against his chin thoughtfully, he glances aside at the others, "No sense in letting terror overwhelm you. We either jump to lightspeed before they tractor us...or we don't." His eyes slide back over toward the looming behemoth in the distance. "If we don't...then you may panic."

~ "Bigger ship hell, we need a damned fleet." Then a thought occurs to him. "Kael, see if you can get your cousin on the c... dammit, comms are blocked." The droids were busy working out a jump vector, but such things were dangerous to do on the fly. "Yeah, we're getting the hell out of here as fast as I can. This ain't exactly a YT ya know. Just start setting up a laser barrage, even if you don't hit anything it will hopefully keep them at bay." Fortunately, this ship was fast, it was built for speed, and it had been pushed further beyond what it was built. It was one of the reasons Ax had chosen this particular ship to serve as the flagship of the Waywards guild. Pirates probably wouldn't dream of taking it on, but the First Order was something entirely different. "Yeah, Rax, I really don't feel like dying today, so get on a turret control." Ax wasn't exactly panicking, as he was a natural in the cockpit, but when you just run into a super star destroyer and a wing of fighters patrolling, you don't tend to want to stick around. "I know a few routes that aren't on the maps, just gotta get out of this system first before we start hitting them."

There is a bit of luck in the fact the Star Destroyer doesn't seem to be -immediately- cutting through space to reach them. It does begin it's intercept, but it's a cantankerous thing. Two of the nearby TIE/sf patrols, however, do begin their intercept at much faster rates. Suddenly, the comms chime, and a coreward accent bleeds through. "Unidentified Carrick, this is the Star Destroyer Finalizer. Traffic in and out of the system is currently closed, by order of the Serenno Militia. Please return from whence you came," the communications lieutenant demands. "I repeat, Unidentified Carr--" Static.

"Don't listen to them," the comm feeds buzz loosely, as someone listening in reaches out, overriding the First Order communications. "The First Order has the militia under their thumb--They've made their blockade legal, but some of us down here need help," the voice demands. She was a younger girl, seventeen or so, and not from the core by accent. "They're after me. I need a way off the planet," she pleads.

Dying? That means little to Red. Merely a completion of what she witnessed all those years ago. The path she took, drenched in blood too. She readies her weapons. Perhaps they will be foolish enough to board. Then she will be able to take more lives, more for M'ressa.......

Nodding a bit Kael smirks, "Thats what I was plannnin on doin boss." He transverses the turrets to point towards the TIEs heading in their direction and sets the turrets to fire off in a random pattern for defensive fire to keep the fighters at bay, "Damn wish we had coms with Jax right bout now could use some fighter cover."

Lofty the Talz wiggles his rotund white-wooled frame into the well of a forward laser turret capable of working point defense, or rather, shooting down starfighters. He puts on an awkward comm headset to listen to the comm traffic.

At the incoming comms, Jictor moves forward to listen more closely. He frowns a little and points towards the system, asking, "Try to lock in communications with that girl. I want to know why they are after her." He seems exceptionally calm for the chaos happening all around them.

A silver eyebrow arches as JD looks to the Red-headed man. "Really? I thought they were all but gone. At least what you're eluding to with the lightsaber." She says softly, moving to the back of the cockpit so she's not in the way of other people working around her. "Couldn't we just fly casually?" She asks though she just starts to observe what others are doing while trying to get her bruised brain into commission and start thinking on her feet again.

As he moves to man a turret, Rax nods at Jictor, "My thoughts exactly. This just got a lot more interesting." As he passes Jaxon, the pirate grins at her, "Apparently not quite. Or someone just really likes masks." Shouldering his way past her, Rax strides off at a swift pace, his coat flaring behind him as he makes way for one of the heavy turbolaser turrets.

"Ax, we can't leave her behind," Sar remarks, looking over to the Captain. "You think you can run it?" The Rebel Yell commander is obviously champing at the bit to see a little bit of action.

"Her? I was told we were chasing Evil Incarnate. Is she worth this risk?"" Red's tone is casual, a if discussing the weather...so much not the Courtesan now."

"Of course we can leave her behind," Jictor says, staring at Sar. "If she is unable to provide some significant value to us to make it worth the risk..." he shakes his head. "Don't be a fool."

"Look," the comms chirp again with the voice of the girl. "The First Order--They've locked down the entire planet. Transportation off world is impossible. But there's a bog outside of the Capital--You can't miss it, largest city on sensors. The Troopers haven't figured out what's going on, yet, and they haven't rebuilt all of the air defenses," she says, quickly. Suddenly, blaster fire is heard over the comm. "Help!" the girl says into the comms again. You could almost hear the tears welling in her eyes. "They want me because I used to study with Lu--" Suddenly, static, again. The First Order resumes communiation's dominance. "Unidentified Carrick--Power down your weapons and lower shields immediately. Maintain quarter speed," the lieutenant now demands.

Kael Greystorm looks up from his turret console, "Want me to power the guns down boss? I'm figuring not but I also don't think we can get past this thing unless..." He looks back towards the droid, "What bout a microjump boss? Other side of the planet from the big ass ship there?"

Moving to let the red headed man go by, JD gives him a polite nod for she hasn't been introduced to him yet. Though this might not be the proper time for introductions as she listens to the transmission. If only JD had spent more time in the core worlds to know the true issues at hand.

~ "Can someone get on Jictor's request," Ax says, focusing more on leaving the system or at least evading what could be the end of them. It was apparent that he wasn't heading towards planet. "Normally, I'd be all for rescuing the damsel in distress guys, but this ship isn't designed for running blockades to and from a planet. Then there's the other communication, and Ax curses in Echani. "Cease fire!" he calls out, then looks to Sar, then shakes his head, picking up his comms. "Finalizer, this is the Celestial Dawn out of Bespin with a load of Tibanna gas aboard," he says. The ship was full of coolant, maybe the fact it was loaded with a gas at all would be enough to fool their sensors. "I'm in need of fuel, I need to land, but if we get fired upon, it's likely we're going to send shockwaves far enough to shred not only your men, but put one hell of a hole in the side of your destroyer. Over." He turns off the comm mic. "Guys, I'm not going to ask you all risk your lives for one person, but... I gotta agree with Sar. I don't want to leave her."

Lofty the Talz clicks on his headset, saying over the internal comm channel with the bridge, "We must save!" he coos through his probiscus. But he might be talking about his galactic savings account.

And just like that, Rax Vaelus stops dead in his tracks, his coat catching up and wrapping around his legs. His head turns aside, just slightly, not quite enough to look over his shoulder. But the communication is cut short, and only static remains until the First Order takes over again. Rax's head turns a little more...and he's about to start moving again when Ax makes his request.

Rax turns, slowly, but forcefully enough that his coat flares out from his heels. Staring down the length of the shared space, he locks eyes with Ax, looking thoughtful. The pirate narrows his eyes...and looks at the planet beyond. Looking back to Ax, he finally nods. "Do it. I'm with you."

Jictor motions towards the comm with a hint of exasperation. "Did you not hear the blaster fire in the background of that communication? They're already at her location. Do you really think we can make it to the planet, find her, and get her out before they are done with her?"

Rax Vaelus narrows his eyes at Jictor, "Yes."

Kael Greystorm nods as Ax gives the order to cease fire and shuts down the turrets, "Stopping the turrets but keeping 'em spun up and ready to pick it back up."

"Look, guys; I was a cop. I like to think I was a pretty good one," Sar begins, looking around at the group gathered on the bridge. "This girl needs help. I've heard voices like her's before and I don't care if you need to shoot me out of a torpedo pod, but we're saving her. Ax, get it done."

Not that Kadi is on the bridge to hear, being in engineering and all, but she is busy keeping things top form. Thankfully she's been keeping the Soul in very good maintenance all along.

Red frowns at the interrupted Comm. "I hate to abandon anyone. But is there ay chance of saving her at all?" The soft voice is steely calm. She glances at the Cop. Really? Admirable brave of him.....

Jictor turns away from the group gathered around the comms panel and walks off to look out a viewport again. His face is expressionless, but inside... he's running through scenarios in his brain. Putting together possible options to take control over the vessel and force them to exit the system. This is why he prefers to do things on his own.

~ "This is a bad idea." Ax keys the comms to engineering. "Kadi, love... prepare for a microjump. I'm going to need every bit of power to our thrusters afterwards." He looks to Jictor. "The ship is equipped with escape pods, if you're completely against it. If one of my crew is as well, then maybe you can take the Banshee from the hangar with them and leave, but we're going back." He motions for the astromechs, "Plot an in-system jump, opposite side of the planet from the Finalizer, make it happen yesterday. Close, as close as you can get."

Listening to the comms giving way, JD moves forward to the comms area. Her nimble fingers start to work. She starts to hum softly in Enchani, one would call it an Enchani war song. Her fingers start to work faster while she moves to by pass the issues, almost as if she's having a virtual fight with the jamming systems. "Hang on a moment working on bringing back coms." She says both first in Enchani then in Basic as she then takes a deep breath to let the jamming program have a bit virtual fire right up main street.

"An ... " Words fail Kadi. Seriously. There's a moment of stunned silence. She looks at her hands, surprised they're not shaking. "Alright, Ax. Just so you know, you crazy pilot, I love you." Because she's sure they're all about to die, that's the only reason that gets said. Not that she doesn't believe in Ax, but things obviously just went from bad to worse. And her orders to the droids follow immediately, getting things ready as quick as she can.

"Unidentified Carrick, final warning! You will lower to quarter speed and lower shields imme--" This time there isn't any static. The communications lines are fed a lot of white noise and, so it would seem, the First Order's communications are countered. At least as far as their jamming goes. "--Look, I don't have anywhere else to run. I'm going to run for the island in the bog. If you get this, please," the girl says. Was she talking the whole time? Who knew. "Please," she says, finally, before the communicator falls silent. Shut off, though they wouldn't know it. She had an ordeal of her own to get through, if she would survive.

Two TIE Fighters come screaming towards the ship--the first of the bunch. Suddenly, a pair of missile launchers activate beneath the cockpit pods. Ten seconds until range!

Rax Vaelus settles into position, bringing up the targetting crosshairs. "Just like a blaster..." At least, that's what he's always been told. Or told to frightened deckhands. He'd never really believed it. Putting an iron-clad grasp upon his fear, Rax does what he has always done: He replaces it with rage. Growling as his eyes widen and his grip tightens on the controls, he burns away his fear of what they are about to do with a vicious, crystalline certainty that the only things that will be burning tonight are his enemies. And those are currently the First Order TIE Fighters beyond.

"Alright! Whoever ain't shit with a blaster, meet with me at the ramp. We're gonna make this in-and-out as quick as we damn well can," Sar calls out over the ship's comm system as he stands up from the chair and begins moving on his way. His blaster rifle is unslung from his shoulder and his helmet is picked up on his way out of the room.

Lofty the Talz curses as his turret is shut down by Kael. "Poodu." But having heard the chatter on his headset, he buckles his safety belt in preparation for a very short jump.

A'isha Adella slides her Bryar B-R9 - 9804 out of its holster, bringing the weapon to bear.

Sar Yavok swings his Merr-Sonn G8 - 361 out into the ready position, flipping the safety off, the weapon coming online with a dull whine.

Jictor continues to stare out the viewport after Ax speaks to him -- he doesn't offer any immediate response. After a couple of minutes, however, he clasps his hands behind his back and spins to face the others once more. "An escape pod would either be destroyed or captured by the First Order, and I imagine they'd send everything they have after any vessel that leaves this ship. Very well. But if we arrive safely..." he looks around at the others on board, "I hope you are all prepared for an all out assault from stormtroopers. And don't get in each other's way."

Red swingsto her feet then stalks to the ramp in question, readying the heavy Pistol as a she does. Her Golden eyes have gone cold. With a thousand meter stare as she does.

~ When warning klaxons flair alerting to missile lock, Ax makes that decision to slam a few coordinates into the nav computer... with under two seconds left before impact, he calls engineering. "I love you too." Then the ship hits hyperspace and then is out, dangerously close to the planet's atmosphere, which Ax is diving into. "C'mon baby, hold together." he says... concerned about whether they were all going to die. This was a bad idea, a very bad one. "Someone find that damned island!" he mutters as he's more worried about keeping the ship from breaking apart.

Noticing the swinging posterior of Red saunter by, Rax blinks. "Wait, I thought we were..." He looks at the crosshairs. Back at the hallway. Back to the crosshairs. He growls, more internally this time. "Whatever. Seat's uncomfortable anyway." Hopping out of the turret pod, the large human thunders toward the boarding ramp, drawing his sword as he goes.

Rax Vaelus slides the length of his Ramishi Crystal Sword out of its scabbard, bringing the deadly curved blade to bare!

Kael Greystorm glances back, "Boss want me down at the ramp or on the turrets?" He glances down the hall and then back up, "A turbo laser into a squad of troopers would do a lot of damage wouldn't it?"

AFter opening up coms again, JD gets her weapon ready as well as her vibroblade. Looking over to see if she can find the island she tilts her head scanning then points to it. "There Ax, the one around the mining complex. Well this will be an interesting battle, hopefully I can write a song about it." She says to her fellow Enchani before moving back to join the group that will go out. She starts to take off the bandages so she can move faster, thankfully the skin has almost healed up.

As the Carrick breaks atmosphere, the ship lurches in the change. They were on the right part of the world to see the largest of Serenno's three cities, the Capital. Just as the girl had mentioned, off to the east, there's a large area of bog and what appears to be a large mining complex built into the island. As the Carrick screams overhead towards it, a green streak of light flashes in front of Jictor's viewport. A second battery soon follows. They're being shot at!

It takes Sar a little while to get to the boarding ramp, but the old soldier makes it and it's there that he does a final check of his equipment and reaches up to activate the tech suite on his helmet. He also offers a nod to everyone who has gathered with him, "Shoot the bad guys, don't get shot."

"There's also a smoking speeder bike," Jictor says, pointing out a smaller area next the complex. "This girl, for whom we are all risking our lives, may already be dead. This had better be worth it." He then takes a step back at the flash of green. "And someone is already shooting at us."

Jictor then lifts his rifle and also moves towards the boarding ramp, although he hangs back from the others.

Once at the Ramp, the Lethan falls into a crouch, as if preparing for a sprint. In a way Red is. A race with Death. She flips off the safeies on there weapon. Waiting. Her bottom is not swigning now.....

~ "And near impossible to hit," Ax says to Kael. "But it's not bad for suppressive fire and I imagine we won't be alone in the sky for long," he says as he somehow keeps the massive ship steady. Apparently, she was just as fast in atmosphere as in space, but it was guaranteed the TIEs wouldn't have a problem keeping up. He aims the ship towards the island as it's pointed out, keeping the throttle at full. Flames licked over the ship's shields, and the cockpit readouts were all nearing the red zones. "Kadi," he calls to engineering... "I know she can't take too much of this, but keep her together baby. Keep those shields up." Using what little control he had over the forward arc weapons, locking them into place, he fires at what he can, though his main focus was evasion. "Quit bitching and do something then, Mr. Gublys."

Rax Vaelus growls as he storms up to the staging area, huge and furious and grasping the gently curved blade of crystal as though it were made of foam. "Just don't get in my way... And watch for the backswing." Still amping himself up for the charge, Rax rolls his shoulders, cracks his neck, and flexes the leather of his heavy, brass-capped gloves. Glancing aside at A'isha, lightning-eyed Rax grins, bearing teeth. "Now to see what you can really do, little courtesean..."

Rax whirls his blade once making sure no one has moved off to his left. Whirling it again, he suddenly snaps it into position, still speaking more to A'isha than to Sar, "Let us be the storm that crashes down upon them. Let them know our fury!" His voice rises, "Do not stop, do not hesitate, kill them all!"

Moving back to where Sar and the Red headed man is, she nods her head to the instructions while she looks over to Jictor. Her silver eyes look the man up and down before looking back to ramp. Changing the settings to take the safety off, JD slowly takes a breath to prepare her mind and moves herself into a combat ready position. As the pirate talks, her eyebrow arches a moment and smirks at the pep talk before getting ready to rush out and bring hell with her.

Kadi manages a smile at Ax's answer, holds on for dear life, while keeping an eye on what's going on in engineering. She's not going to land, nope. Someone has to guard the ship. or at least, try.

"Yeah, we get it," Sar says flatly to Rax, eyes rolling a little bit under the durasteel helmet. "Just kill 'em. Leave the poetry to someone better at it." His rifle is readied and tucked into his shoulder with one hand, while the other hand prepares to drop them ramp when it's 'go-time'.

Jictor stands off to the side of the boarding ramp, his back against the ship's hull. "I'd recommend you all take cover for when that ramp is opened," he says to the others gathered there. "We don't know what's down there, and they may light up the entire opening when the ramp is lowered. We have a better chance of making it out of here if more of you are alive." It goes unsaid, for obvious reasons, but the more targets for opposing fire, the better in Jictor's mind.

Red's cold=gold eyes flick once to Rax and his posturing. Her smile is a chilly little thing. She moves to take cover behind a support. Then that gaze is back on the Ramp. Waiting, with a veterans, ancient, patient stare. In that so-young, so-beautiful face.

Lofty the Talz remains in his laser turret as it is re-powered, waiting. He knows that the Imperials could have followed them and perhaps deployed more fighters to strafe them, so he remains vigilant, watching the skies from his cramped bubble turret on the top of the Carrack.

Kael Greystorm nods as he glances over at Ax before he looks back at his screen, "Permission to fire skipper? I'd like to shoot our big lasers at their big lasers. I mean I don't have to hit them directly something in the area should be good right?"

Rax Vaelus growls, his eyes practically burning as he stares at the ramp, waiting, "Just cover my approach, old man..." His eyes narrow into slits as he attempts to burn holes in the ship armor with his eyes alone, "I've done this dozens of times before..." His voice drops lower, darker, "We even have atmosphere to breathe..."

~ "Hold fire for a moment," Ax says as he pulls the emergency venting for the cargo. 2500 tons of coolant streams out of tubes on the ship, almost 300,000 credits just gone. "Fire into the cloud!" Ax mutters, hoping like hell this works. He just hoped he was far enough away to keep from killing them all. "Fire dammit fire!"

Kael Greystorm rotates the turret towards the gas cloud and squeezes the trigger into the cloud, "Hope you know what you're doin skipper."

Ax says, "Me too. Me too..."

Lofty the Talz rotates his turret toward the coolant cloud and fires. BRAP BRAP BRAP.

Red braces for the impact, blaster down, finger just out of the trigger guard. Waiting, Waiting, a gentle smile on full lips

Beneath the carrick, the ground is abuzz. As they clear the sightline of the building, the speeder's occupant becomes apparent: the girl of seventeen. She's running, flush and deadpan. Blaster fire chases her, with a number of Stormtroopers rushing after her. Ax was right: they weren't alone in the skies. Landing atop a nearby building is the Upsilon-class shuttle 'Shadow', wings folding up menacingly. It doesn't land, so to speak, but the laser-sword guy does suddenly appear, dropping from the ramp atop the building. The building Silenno Antilles, seventeen year old blonde runner, is in a dead run towards.

Behind the Carrick, a pair of TIE Fighters scream into view, gunning for the cruiser and the contents within. That is, until coolant begins to pour from the Carrick's backside, as crates and boxes are dumped and break apart. Old smuggler trick: never carry what you can't ditch. A pair of shots scream across the carrick's backside, absorbed by the shielding with only a slight rattling across the hull. No damage. The pair of guns our heroes are manning come to life as the coolant splashes around them. The TIE pair is mid-cloud when the coolant ignites, suddenly sending them ground-wards. It may not have entirely destroyed them, but the damage is enough it grounds them. Explosive flames echo around the ship with the loudest rumble yet, and the viewports can easily taken in the sight of explosive clouds rushing towards the carrick. They seem to be moving quickly enough, however, and they make it clear. Landing zone dead ahead.

"What's that ETA, Ax?" Sar asks, holding down the call button on the ship's comm system. He releases it and looks at his little squad that's gathered. "Hope you guys are ready."

~ "Seconds," Ax calls out over the intercomms, already he's pressing the button to lower the ramp. "Grab hold of something" The powerful engines and thrusters come to life, warning alarms on the console flash as Axel almost skids the thing into a position so that the gear isn't touching the ground, but a few feet from it, the ramp aimed towards the smoking speeder. Hopefully, she'd be able to just drive it aboard and they could be off again, unsure of their next stop, but knowing it wouldn't be Nar Shaddaa, at least not in this ship for a while.

Waits for the door to open up as she holds on and listens to those speaking about war and what they will do, JD says nothing really to inspire anyone or give anyone instruction. She holds onto something while prepping, she insures her weapon is loaded and her vibro sword is out (since code only allows me to equip one thing). "I'm ready to be death, shall we introduce them to the after life?" She asks as she wants to start sending souls into a new life.

Rax Vaelus drops into a wider stance, crouching as he braces for impact! "It's been far, far too long..." Rocking downward as the ship slams and skids, Rax's eyes blaze as he grins wildly, gripping his crystal sword in both hands, blade up at his side. As soon as the ramp is down, Rax launches himself out, racing in a dead sprint forward, he zigs and zags erratically, becoming a swift, moving target at high velocity. His sword gleaming in the light, he roars out a war cry, summoning it up from his depths as he channels his battle fury -forward-!

With the lowering and slowing of the ship, Kadi grabs hold of the nearest pole, so she doesn't go flying. and once done, she's immediately checking the engines, making sure nothing overloaded. There's a crisp efficiency in the engineer as she and the droids make sure nothing sparks, nothing blows up, and nothing overheats.

The ramps slams down and the Lethan is moving. Fast, very fast indeed. Dodging into cover and snapping off shots with a cool, professional skill that belies her identity as courtesan. Red is silent, careful and precise. One knows she has done somethng like this....many times before....

Jictor crouches down a little against the wall, preparing himself for impact. He also takes a moment to check on a small black disk strapped to his chest that had been hidden beneath his cloak.

Once the ship touches down and the ramp hits the dirt, Sar bolts down it. He's actually pretty quick for a beat-up old man. He doesn't even take time to shoot at the troops gathering. Nope. He's on a mission to save that girl, so he's making a b-line straight for the building she entered.

His boots hammering across the soft surface of the bog, Rax covers a -lot- of ground as he makes for the building the Antilles woman disappeared into. Spotting the ship above, Rax takes only a moment for himself to savor a lustful grin. Not for the ship, or the masked person, or the Antilles girl. Not even for the lightsaber itself. It's battle that makes him lust so, and the song of battle sings around him as he hears roaring engines, whining engines, blasters firing plasma packets...

It calls to him as he launches himself even harder forward, racing as hard as his legs will moce him!

"If I don't come back, tell Gren he's a dick," Sar remarks over his comms, sprinting towards the building, slowing in his steps for a moment as she sends a few well-aimed shots towards one of the pair of dazed stormtroopers. Once that's dealt with, he disappears through the door.

Shaking her head a bit. She says something in Enchani before she heads out laying cover fire and watching the events unfolding as she starts to head towards the building. JD does walk and fire at any and all storm troopers in all directions as she tries to lend support. She does duck and cover while heading to the building in a more trained miliary pattern.

No, no Courtesan shots with such vindictive accuracy. One of the Troopers just turns in time to see his death. Red snaps off a clean shot into the helmeted figures forehead. THe White=armored figure spasms once and drops, a smear of crimson on the dirty wall behind him.

Landed, centrally within the hangar, is the Sienar Systems 'Infiltrator'--The very same ship Ax and the others had seen just a few nights before. Surrounding it, however, are Stormtroopers firing up into the second level, after the young girl. She's bleeding from the right side, already wounded and desperate. The Stormtroopers wordlessly fire after the girl, literally aiming for a killing blow to serve the desires of their masters. Blaster fire echoes in the close quarters as a team circles the Infiltrator, and another gives chase up the stairs along the side of the interior hangar. She's in trouble!

It's been a long time since Jictor was involved in combat like this, against an actual organized military force. However, the troopers do not yet seem to be providing any kind of organized resistance, and so he's able to move from the ship to the building in a relatively easy, orderly fashion. He takes up a position outside the doorway, preparing to take a quick peek inside to ascertain the situation.

~ Spinning his seat, Ax takes control of one of the tractor beam controls. "Ever been bowling?" he asks, lining it up at the Infiltrator. A sinister grin crosses his face as he keys it up, the ship lurching at first, landing struts dragging along the floor as it begins to move towards the Soul, either plowing over, pushing away, or forcing Stormtroopers to scatter.

In engineering, Kadi arches a brow as the tractor beam is engaged. "What in blazes is that man up to?" she asks, quite curiously. She peeks out of engineering, makes sure she's got her comm on, so she can hear if there is anything she needs to do.

Kael Greystorm sits in disbelief as he watches the fireball and then the tractorbeam and the microjump, "Boss you're a fragging crazy person you know that right?"

Rax Vaelus is still running full-tilt for the hanger when the Tractor Beam hits. Rax is suddenly buffeted and not quite sure what is happened, but he roars and wills his legs to move through it, dragging himself forward like a vornskr on the hunt--nothing will stop his pursuit! He briefly considers the stormtroopers clustered on the ground near the enemy ship...but there's the girl. Up there. Blood...

...Blood! Rax thunders up the stairs, blade held high, and he ROARS to announce his intentions as he leaps, bringing the crystal blade down from above in a devastating overhead smash!

"Think somebody can fire up that ship? Two targets are better than one." Sar calls over the comms, leveling his blaster at the stormtroopers on the stairs with Rax. He squeezes off two shots, hoping to distract them long enough that he can slip past them as he yells, "Girl! Come back! We're here to help!"

From her position, JD hunkers down so that she's able to lay down suppressive fire from the troopers. She keeps herself down and aims eat the storm troopers that are close the pirate. She softly takes a deep breath as she starts to fire at them and keeps herself between them and the ship.

Red is up and moving, prepping a quick snapshot at the remaining Tropper outside the building but he drops. She rolls out of cover, closer by, tawny eyes scanning for inbound enemy, doing a quick check on that roofline. Then she bolts for the door....rolls through into a firefight...A Trooper lies before her armed, and active . She snapshots at him......

The girl crumples against a nearby door, only then taking a moment to look over the scene that has unveiled around her. The blood is pooling into the white shirt she wears, and her breathing has started to catch. In her pause, she almost catches another blaster bolt. She gasps, before she musters what strength she has to push through the door upstairs. On the ground, five of the Stormtroopers are still active on the playing field. Three are ignoring our heroes, but two have returned fire!

Jictor was standing just to the side of the hangar opening when the tractor beam was engaged. He felt a strange whoosh move past him, but he seemed to be just outside of the tractor beam's target line. However, this altered his plans -- it didn't seem like a good idea to step into the beam. He retreats away from the opening, taking a position that gives him a line of sight towards the remaining troopers. The quicker they were dealt with and these people had the girl, the quicker they could leave... that was all the incentive Jictor needed to fire off two quick shots, each aimed at a separate remaining trooper.

~ Now that the game is up, no way people were going to fall for the bowling trick again, Ax uses the tractor beam to lift the ship slightly off the ground, bringing it into the hangar. Whatever Kylo Ren was after, it's quite possibly hidden on the Infiltrator. Granted, so might a multitude of things that were quite bad. "Come on guys, get her and let's go!" he says as he's trying to finesse the tractor beam and maneuver the Infiltrator as quickly as possible towards the hangar of the Soul. "Remind me to get the ship painted, when we land anywhere else... Activate the guardian droids on the ship too. We don't know what the hell we're loading." He wondered now if he remembered to pick up a surgical droid for the ship's medbay.

Lofty the Talz remains in his bubble turret watching the skies and the building that everyone is running toward. As the Carrack's tractor beam, controlled by Ax, begins dragging the vessel out of the hangar, the furry alien trains his turret on it.

Kael Greystorm just continues to scan for any TIEs or well anything that could pose a problem for the Lost Soul as the ground folks do their ground thing out there on the ground. "Are we really doin this boss? You're really gonna steal that thing?"

Smacked across the face and pounded on the chest by rifle butts, Rax sees stars for a moment before shaking his head violently. His vision clearing, he flashes a wild grin and shouts, "That's the spirit!" before whirling into the mass of troopers!

Leading with a brutal cut across the gut of the man in front of him and using the momentum to swing his blade up into a graceful slice for the neck of a second, Rax is still spinning around as he viciously lances the blade from shoulder to hip across the third's chest. Rapidly reversing direction on the last cut to Z-slash the last stormtrooper, Rax locks eyes on the last man standing before him, teeth bared and his breathing heavy as he slowly snaps the blade back up before him, his guard low and the tip level between his eyes and the stromtrooper's visor, watching her with turbolaser intensity.

Sar Yavok catches a bolt to the shoulder plate that sears at the finish, but doesn't seem to do much else other than leading the man to stumble. Luckily, this gives him a chance to spot the downed Stormtrooper's F-11. "Why not?" he asks himself as he bends down to pick it up and sling the strap across his shoulder. With his G8 still beared, he fires two more shots towards the two remaining troopers.

Red rolls through the door, her shot hits the trooper before her. Then the ones on the stairs fire, she evades but one shot takes her in the flanl, knocking the wind out of her...probably crcking ribs, The hiss of her intaken breath is her only reaction. She rolls behind trashed furnishings, firing at her target again....but a chair legs takes the shot......ooc :hugs

The fire keeps going and as JD tilts her head not hitting anything she gets rather upset. In standard upset/pissed off mode, the Enchani hits the gun a bit to see that the targeting problem in the gun. Next round things should work.

The Stormtroopers are quickly losing the fight. With most of them down and wounded, they're all but beaten. Rax puts on an intimidating air, trying to shake one of the remaining troopers, but the trooper lashes out, lurching to her feet to fire at the sword-wielding human. With the girl out of sight and the Infiltrator slightly raised off of the ground, there are mixed results for our heroes. Two of the troopers clutch their weapons direly, firing at the attackers with a harsh and satisfying fury! Except, they end up disgracing Phasma instead, and the shots go wide of each of the three would-be victims.

From his position near the Carrack, Jictor keeps an eye on the situation as it proceeds inside the hangar, and sees one of the troopers pull herself back to her feet. He takes aim and fires off two more shots, then drops to a crouched position and makes contact with Ax through the comms, "The troopers are almost all down. The girl is out of sight. I expect we will be ready to leave soon, one way or another."

~ "Yeah, probably won't keep it, but I want what might be inside," Ax says... maybe he wants it, maybe not. He just knows he doesn't want the freak with the laser sword to have it. "Just keep us covered." He looks towards Lofty, "If you see anything flying above us, shoot it down. By the way, I'm Ax, head of the Waywards," he says as if they never got a chance for formal introductions. "Welcome to the Lost Soul." He looks to Kael again, still finessing the Infiltrator, albeit sloppily, towards the hangar of the Soul. "That goes for you too. If it's not one of our guys, open fire." When Jictor comms over, Ax sighs. "Hope we can get her aboard, if not at least we might reprieve that dude with the laser sword his other prize."

Kael Greystorm nods as he continues to scan the area for turbo laser worthy targets, "I want on when we first board 'er she looks like a good lil ship to check out."

Rax Vaelus actually looks...pleased when the woman hauls herself to her feet. He's about to say something...but then Jictor takes her down. Rax can only shake his head. As he turns away, he whispers, "I am sorry," before rushing off in the direction Antilles went. That girl stormtrooper should have lived. Rax's eyes are narrowed into hard slits as he drives himself forward, forcing himself to ride the wave before fatigue sets in.

Lofty the Talz keeps his turret trained on the ship that is being tractored by Ax. "Tracking device. We get found." Maybe he is implying that with the tracking device on that ship, they would be tracked down quick by the First Order. "Lofty," he coos, introducing himself.

Rax Vaelus actually looks...pleased when the woman hauls herself to her feet. "That's the spirit..." he whispers to her. And he raises his bloody sword...to give her a grinning salute. Turning with a wide, sailing flare of his coat, Rax launches himself off in the direction Antilles went, pursuing his quarry once more!

Sar continues on his way to the doorway that the young girl escaped through. However, his eyes fall on the remaining Stormtrooper with the ever-shaken resolve. Unfortunately, Sar's not in the business of leaving enemies for later, so he levels his newly acquired F-11D at he chest and pulls the trigger, sending her pouring backwards over the railing as he continues on. He reaches up and activates his comms, "Ax, how's it looking out there?"

JD has the suppressive fire down pretty well as she's missing everyone so far. It's when the one trooper that pops up and into her view, she's able to put into her sights. Looking down the barrel she lets finger squeeze the trigger and let a bolt go into the air. Landing not just on the Trooper but in the trooper's face.

The last of the enemy fall, Red leaps over the debris and charges up the stairs. /Pain is for later, it is watch teaches you not to fail.../ The mantra flashes past in her mind as she runs, soundless for all her hurts.

Seeing his 'companions' disappear up the stairs in the hangar, Jictor retreats back to the boarding ramp of the Carrack Cruiser, taking up a position to provide support fire when they return. He just wants to make sure they don't get pinned down in the hangar, since he's sure Ax won't leave without them.

There is a girl above. Two. One with a lightsaber. One that needs help. Rax's legs aren't as used to this endless running as they once were. Walking around Nar Shaddaa, chatting up the locals has made him soft. But while the muscles burn, they do /remember/. Rax forces himself into a cadence, almost marching more than running as he makes his way up flight after flight. He's nearing the top. He has to be...

During his trip up the stairs, Sar's managed to re-arrange his set-up; his G8 now just hanging behind him as he grips the new F-11D confidently. "Moving up the stairs. If you could work some magic and pick us up from the roof, I'd kiss you, Ax," Sar remarks into his comms, nearing the top of the building.

The final door above leads out heroes into the open atop the roof. Leaning against the door, two Stormtroopers are dead. No blood, no gore. One hasa solid, burned hole through his chest, while the other has a deep gash running chest-to-facemask. Both dead. Towards the end of the roof, the girl is locked in arms with Kylo Ren. One deeply-colored crimson saber pressing against the soft green glow of another lightsaber. The girl, however, struggles to keep up with Kylo's strength.

"He loved you! Most of all..." the girl cries, hopeful. The engine that burned within all of Luke's misguided pupils was hope.

"He loved -Order-," Kylo returns, relenting slightly to offset the girl and slam the saber down against hers again, "He loved Obedience!" Another crash, and the girl stumbles back slightly. They turn, with the girl between our heroes and Kylo. No shot.

With two people already going up, JD moves to secure the bottom of the stairs. With no support she heads up the stairs, making sure her back and the exit they will have to take down is covered. Moving around the bodies as well as heading upwards even more. She takes her time since she knows there are two way ahead of her already.

Red flies up the staris, ingnoring her injuries, trying to stay alert. SHe rolls through the doorway, past the dead trooper, into a firing position. Where she cannot fire, their client is there. The blades, they are so similar, but not like that which... SHe blinks quickly "Focus on the here-and-now....."

Rax Vaelus recognizes those wounds. Those sounds. He strides forward. "Fall back, girl." His tone is low and even, his breathing heavy and forced. Winded. Wounded. Tired. But not done. He snaps his blade upwards, grip low. "This one is mine."

The wind catches his coat, sending it sailing out from his legs, and Rax inclines his head, "You, with the mask. Hand over the lightsaber, and you can walk away from here. Resist...and I'll kill you." Rax whirls his blade about himself, whipping the crystal into an aggressive stance. "Make your choice, and your peace with the Force."

"Let her go, buddy!" Sar says, running out onto the rooftop, his F-11 leveled at the two engaged in the duel. He's doesn't shoot, but you better believe he's lining up a shot.

~ "Gotcha," Ax says as the Infiltrator slides into the hangar, though it bangs around a couple times on the way. Spinning around in his seat again, he's powering up the thrusters and the Lost Soul is lifting off the ground. "Kael, I need eyes on the back ramp!" he calls, hoping the man will run and guide him in. He wont be able to land on it, but he can damn sure put the ramp down on it to give his people an escape route.

Kadi is listening on the comm, but she's not sure what's going on out there. As the ship lifts, she keeps things even. "That's a good sign," she murmurs as she hears the chatter about a pickup on the roof. "Make it snappy, Lily, we're going to be needing everything we've got really quick now."

Kael Greystorm nods as he climbs out of his seat and starts his run to the back ramp, "On internal comms now boss." He knows the Soul fairly well and makes it to the ramp as rapidly as possible.

Lofty the Talz is still in his turret on the Carrack cruiser. He trains his sights on Kylo Ren and the girl with the lightsaber. On the comms he says, "Laser swords!"

Jictor is in a crouched position, perched on the ramp with his rifle at the ready. His eyes lock on to the two figures engaged in the lightsaber duel, but doesn't attempt a shot. Instead, he says to Ax over the comms, "You're going to try to put this ramp on the rooftop?"

~ "Just the ramp," Ax calls back on the comms. "Help guide me in," he adds as he swings the ass end of the Carrack towards the building, the ramp exposed. Using the instrumentation, he's doing his best. Not like it had a rearview mirror, just proximity sensors and the equivallent of radar.

Climbing and climbing JD goes looking at those that fell for this girl. Taking a deep and long breath as she gets up to the roof, she hears the words that the others speak while she moves. JD goes to circle around to get to Kylo Ren's back and seems to be away from those she arrived with. Taking sights on the man before her shakes her head to the pirate's orders. Her own passive emotions start to change, the pent up rage and anger she has suppressed for some time starts to boil her warrior's blood, and with one moment of true pain and suffering she fires her gun at Kylo Ren.

Kael Greystorm has made it to the back ramp, "Hey boss I'm here. And you're just bout perfect onto the roof. Bring it in a bit more and a little lower."

Red moves to the far said on seeing JD making her move. She lines up, not diectly opposite the other woman, so they will take him in nonety degree cross-fire.....

In the distance, the TIEs have finally caught up with the Carrick, and come screaming towards it. The Infiltrator is safely secured onboard the Carrick, but their time here was quickly dwindling away.

Atop the roof, Kylo closes the distance again, bringing the crimson sword in a wide arc overhead to slam down upon the poor girl. "None of us," he seethes, echoing coldly in the modulated voice, "He loved none of us." The man demanded and clearly had her beaten, though the sudden arrival of others caught him off guard.

"You're wrong," the girl whispers, falling back another two steps. "He accepted me, loved me, Sileno Dooku. Grandaughter of the man his father -murdered-," she says, before she's cut off by the sudden blaster shot from their flank. It slams into Kylo's side and wordlessly he stumbles. Sileno takes the oppurtunity to strike in a close upswing of her saber. Kylo's lightsaber slips in half, clattering out of his hands to the ground, utterly destroyed by the bisecting attack.

The shock lasts a second, before a scream wells up in Kylo, and his arms outstretch towards the intervening heroes, as a sudden force of energy is thrust against them to throw them backwards towards the walls. In a flash, the seething, hatred-flowing Kylo Ren grabs the girl by the throat and hand, and physically begins to drag her towards the ledge.

Lofty the Talz is watching with rapt attention the drama that unfolds, like a grandmother watching her Rodian holonovelas. "Angry boy will kill girl!" he says in an alarmed tone over the internal comms. His laser turret comes to bear on the roof and he waits.

Slamming against the wall with a sharp crack, Rax is momentarily dazed as his sword's scabbard cracks against his back, and he sees stars again as his head makes contact. His muscles flex, and the veins on his neck strain, and he tries, -so hard-, to drag himself from the wall. There, the bisected pieces of lightsaber! If he could only...rrrgh! Reach them!

Sar Yavok is thrown by the force push and bounces and rolls across the floor, his armor sparking a bit with each hit. The hell was that? He's definitely and the force of the impact has fried his helmet's sensors so that they only relay to him a crackling mess. The old soldier moves up to his knees and hammers at his helmet until the releases unfasten and he pull it off, ready to witness whatever atrocities are coming with his own eyes.

Kadi sneaks out of engineering to get a look at what's happening. The droids are all still there, and she wants to see the ship that's brought in, and what's happening. The petite engineer does have a blaster pistol at her waist, but she's not even pulling it out. Still her eyes widen as she gets over to where Kael is. Oh so very quietly.

Red is hurled back like a rag doll, by virutue of her innate grace only just managages to regain control. Still her side screams as she is slammed into the wall...even feert first cracked rib grate. Her vision blurs as she raises her weapon....

The laser bolt goes off as planned, as JD looks with happiness for revenge. She is about to pull again, to try and wound the man further when the force push happens. Again, within a week JD's body gets slammed hard against a wall and she slides to her knees. This further adds to her already slowly fading concussion giving her a bigger headache. Crawling to her knees, she pulls her rifle up again to aim. She can't focus, too many of them. Will the real Kylo Ren please stand up?

"This is over!" Jictor yells towards the people on the roof. "Get back on the ship! We need to go!" His voice has a strong, forceful tone behind it, although with the way things have gone so far, he doesn't expect any of them to actually listen. He wavers for a moment, then drops onto his stomach and fires two shots at Ren from the Carrack's interior.

~ Ax just focuses on keeping the ship steady, guiding it in by Kent's commands. "We got incoming!" he calls out. "Lofty, open fire on those TIEs!" He mutters a few prayers, old Corellian ones, not Echani. "I definitely need a drink after this." Yep, they were going to get away, no doubt in his mind. He just wasn't sure if the ship would survive the trip. Already he had droids calculating the fastest way out of system to a nearby one, where they'd jump again, and bounce around until tracking them would be near impossible. Utilizing smuggler's routes when he could, though this ship wasn't really designed for such regions of space.

Kylo drags the girl to the ledge. By now, the tears stream down her face and neck, as she clutches his arm in vain. The lightsaber clicks off, and falls at Kylo's feet, at the edge of the building. Nothing but air below the girl, teetering over the edge in Kylo's grip. Her nails dig into his arm, her green eyes pleading with the faceless, emotionless mask that stared back at her. "Ben," she gasps, using the last of her breaths to try, direly, to reach the monster that held her friend. "Please, he--" the grip tightens, "--loved you."

They were Sileno Dooku's final words, before the black gloves closed around her throat, snapping through her windpipe. The grip loosens slowly, as the body of Sileno slips through his grasp, falling to whatever doom related her stories below on the pavement. She was lucky she died before that moment. In that moment, something welled within Kylo and he felt a pang of ... something. Guilt, maybe, or regret. He didn't know anymore. Voices clouded his thoughts, reminding him of some other man he once knew.

But then, suddenly, Kylo is reminded that they weren't alone. Roused from his moment of introspection, having murdered an old 'friend', he snaps and raises a hand, stopping Jictor's attack midair. With the girl gone, all that remained was the would-be heroes...

Lofty the Talz swings his turret up, targeting the incoming TIE fighters. He fires wildly at them, squeezing his paws around the firing studs, attempting to break up their imminent strafing run on the cruiser. "Get on ship!" he says over the internal comm. "Big ship we run from!" BRAP BRAP BRAP.

"Fall back, fall back!" Sar shouts as he finally makes his way back up to his feet, his rifle blasting wildly at Kylo as he begins his limping quickly back towards the ship.

Kadi's look around is short, as things happen, but she does see Jictor fire, and a look at the folks out there on the roof, as things were happening. And then, rather than get overrun, she scampers back to engineering, like she never left to go spy on things.

It's at the moment between life and death, JD has that moment of clarity. She watches as the girl dies, there is a moment JD's eyes water up and a tear slides down her face. The second tear falls stopped by her cheek, as her silver hair blows against her face. "So young and yet ..." She takes a deep breath and stands listening to the limping man. She moves quickly, well as fast as her vision allows to get to the limping man (aka Sar) and offer to help him to the ship quickly as if he could lean on her for help.

Red staggers to her feet, taking Sar's qeue, firing as quickly as she can. Not a hope of hurting...whatever that Man was. Just for forms sake. To ditract him as she falls back in a crabwise scuttle. Its the best she can do.....

"Stronger...than I expected..." He growls and twists and tries to will his limbs to move. "So this... This is the... Force...?" He struggles against it, unable to see it, or feel it, except as a crushing press. But then the wave subsides...and Rax dashes forward a few steps, towards the broken pieces of lightsaber. But then he just kind of...stops. He almost skids. Still breathing hard, Rax looks at the pieces...and then over at the masked woman (man?) and Antilles/Dooku. And then she falls.

Rax's heart sinks. They were so close. When Kylo Ren turns to stop the blaster bolt, Rax points his sword, "Next..."

What's that buzzing? That crackling sound? Rax slowly turns his head aside, looking up, "...time..." Rax's eyes widen then, and his blood runs cold. The breath is taken from him as he witnesses the bolt of plasma, suspended, jittering in mid air. Unable to breathe for just that one moment, Rax suddenly startles back to reality... Stealing one last, confused look at Kylo Ren, the pirate turns and starts to run, uncertainly at first, for the ramp. But then he pours on the juice, and Rax leaps for the ramp!

~ "Get your asses on the ship!" Ax calls out over the comms. "We gotta bug out yesterday. Kadi, I'm going to need every bit of energy this baby has pushed to shields and engines. Pull from whatever source you can aside from life support!" Sad that he couldn't save everyone, they weren't leaving empty handed at least, or he hoped they weren't. Unfortunately, or fortunately, he didn't witness the blaster bolts being frozen, but it was almost certain he'd hear about it once they reached safety. IF they reached safety.

Jictor's mouth falls open, and he stares at Ren in stunned silence. There's very little left in the galaxy to surprise him, but that... that did the trick. The Force push was startling in its own way, because he wasn't expecting Ren to be... well... what he apparently is. But stopping the blaster bolts in mid-air? He'd never even heard of such a thing. Jictor scrambles to his feet and lets the rifle fall to his side -- it apparently has no use now. He blinks a few times, then finally collects himself and spins towards those remaining on the roof. "Go. Now. NOW. NOW!" He screams at the top of his lungs. This was not someone they could fight, not now.

Kadi is gooble-eyed, but she shakes her head, getting her act together. As much as she can. "I - right," she transmits back to Ax. "you heard the captain, everything but life support to shields and engines, let's go." The droids work with her, as she gets temporarily over her hand shaking total disbelief. Science - no time for this. There's got to be some sort of rational explanation, there has to be. But right now, make the Soul sing.

Sar nods to JD and offers a quiet 'thanks' as she offers her help. Together, the two of them manage to escape into the belly of the Lost Soul, where Sar collapses onto the bulkhead, hand gripping tightly at the strap of his newly-acquired F-11.

Confused, the man just sort of stares up at the ceiling, eyes squinting every now and again as he thinks about what he just saw. Finally, after a few moments, he catches his breath and 'heh's quietly to himself, "I get to tell Gren he's an asshole, myself." The battered soldiers roll onto his side and stands up slowly, limping back towards the cockpit.

With a last effort Red makes the leap for the ramp, landing in a crouch, straign back at the....Man over the sights of her blaster. And the hovering bolts. Still there....Damn......

~ "Bastard," Ax says as the girl dies. He couldn't see it, but it didn't matter. Part of him wanted to turn the ship, open up all weapons and just level the damned building, but he had people he needed to get to safety. Evil though, it had a face... or well it had a mask.. and it would be forever burned into his mind. "LETS GO!" Once everyone is onboard, he guns the engines, raising the ramp. Shields would help against the fighters and his only concern was running, putting as much distance between the First Order and the force user as he could. "Someone look over that damned ship, make sure we don't have to dump her before she explodes!" he calls out. "Look for tracking devices too."

Nodding to Sar's acceptance, JD does make sure she can et the man into the ship. She moves to try and see if she can strap him in for take off. If there aren't any straps she will use herself to keep the man at least someone stable on the ship. She does offer a flash she has in one of her pockets that has a rather nice whiskey in it to Sar. "Forgive me, I'm not a medic but this might help for the moment to numb the pain." She says with her fingers lightly on the flask in offering to the injured man.

Rax Vaelus falls to one knee, drained. His eyes are closed, and he hangs his head as he just kneels there, catching his breath. The tip of his crystal sword is embedded lightly into the deck plating, and he leans on it as he remains there, head held, sweat rolling down his face and neck. The lady Stormtrooper. The young girl. The lightsaber. The Force user. They cycle through his mind. Each of them slipped through his fingers. He just dips his head a little further, turning it to the side. It's the only indication of his pain.

And then he stands. His eyes of lightning open. And he turns away from the loading ramp, striding silently into the interior of the Carrack, to remain there for the rest of the voyage.
