Like a Bat Out of Hell

OOC Date: May 17, 2016
Location: Nar Shaddaa
Participants: Siya, Alana Zee

The men drag the pair back to their cell. Siya just sort of curls up in a corner with her hands on her head. The drug has poor effects on Zeltrons it seems. Time goes by and they are generally ignored. Enough time passes and Alana will start feeling the effects of the drug wearing off. Pain and misery is what could be the best description. She begins to sweat and have tremors. Her muscles may feel as if they are beginning to seize. The barred window gets a figure in it and once more a dart is tossed out. Though, only one. It strikes Siya in the arm, injecting her with the next dose.

Alana Zee, by this stage, is curled up protectively with Siya, spooning against her and clinging all sweatily and fidgeting to her friend. It can't be comfortable to either of them, but Alana's hope is that it is reassuring to whatever small part of Siya's brain may still be functioning. The dart is stared at, then brushed off angrily, although probably not until after it has injected its poison.

Siya lets out a small cry as the dart hits her arm. At least while she was sort of detoxing, she had regained some of her mind. She glances down to the dart and back up to Alana. "Not again.." She laments. "use the dart.. " She whispers. "It is still sharp." She clings to her friend as sweat rolls down her forehead. The drugs hit and her gaze sort of glazes over.

That's a really good idea, and Alana palms the dart, the metal warming in her hand as she keeps it nestled against Siya's breast. "I'm gonna get you out of here," she whispers fiercely, the tears in her eyes tears of pain and anger. "You hang in there, Siya."

Siya lifts her hand to place over Alana's and she curls her fingers around. "If you can.. get out.." Her words are strained as she has to fight against the serum. "You can come back for me.." She whispers, "They want me alive. You.. are expendable.. to them.. My abilities of empathy.. Ngggg.." She trails off as it begins again. She falls silent as footsteps are heard in the hallway.

Outside the door is the sound of keys. The key slips into the lock and it turns noisily. With a slight jolt, it opens and in comes a pair of burly men with food. No reason to starve the prisoners, right?

Alana Zee lowers her head, submissive, unthreatening, accepting her tray of pitiful food if it's given to her. But, as the other fellow steps past to deliver Siya's tray of food, Alana's hand lashes out with all the force that the frustration of her captivity has built up inside her. She drives the dart into the man's eyeball, forcing it home with her thumb, and as he staggers she goes for his knife, plucking it from his belt to try to slash across the throat of the other fellow.

The man may feel no fear, but damn does he feel pain. As the dart impales into his eyeball, blood splurts out around the dart. He yowls in pain, dropping the food and lifting his hands instinctively to his eyes. This allows Alana to steal the knife as he staggers back. of course the next fellow immediately steps up only to receive a slash to the throat. He gurgles and arterial spray shoots up the walls before he falls to the ground in a lifeless heap. The first man moves to stand up and grits his teeth before launching himself all bloody towards Alana.

Stupid man, not continuing to shout for help. Alana meets his charge by slashing the blade up in an eviscerating technique, driving it into his belly and using his momentum of bowling her over against him; if and when the knife gets to the ribcage it'll twist up and turn, searching for the heart. If she ends up flat on the floor underneath the dying fellow that's fine by her.

Siya lets out quite the cry as the men die on the floor. She cannot control what is going out or what is coming in. The sensation of their death is also projected outwards. Sobbing comes from her after the death of the men. The door is left open and for now, there doesn't seem to be anyone coming.

Alana Zee shudders, reacting poorly to the emotions of their deaths mingling with the physical blood splattered across her face and eyes and forearms. Then sliding the blade deeply across each man's throat to make sure, she stumbles back to her feet. The door is eyed, then Siya, and finally she breaks her reverie by whispering miserably, "I'll be back for you." Then she darts into the corridor, listening.

Siya would have been dead weight. Such dead weight. She could hardly even stand. She remains on the ground, curled up and trembling as the serum played havoc with her. "Go.. Tell Stavros too.." She says softly before Alana darts out the door.

In the hallway, it goes two ways. To the left is the direction they went to get to the main chamber of the building. There is a door at the end of the hall to the right.

Alana Zee picks right, but not before she closes, and locks if possible, the cell door. Then she pads quickly down to the door at the end and listens.

The door is solid and difficult to hear through. Though, when she opens it, she will find a single Verpine sitting there and snoozing. On the floor next to him is a vial and a dropped syringe. It seems he took a little bit too much of his serum. There is another hallway, but at the end there is an elevator.

Alana Zee guides him from sleep to death by carefully bringing the knife up, then slicing his throat from ear to ear. Stepping over the twitching corpse she moves to the elevator, examining it carefully before stepping inside and pressing the 'up' button.

The door slides closed and there she stands covered in the blood of her victims. A cheerful little song plays on the elevator speaker as it begins to rise up. A cheerful ding is heard before the door opens to a bar. Music is pounding and the lights are flashing. People are dancing. There are a lot of normal people here, just dancing and having a good time. Though, in the corners and at the bar are those tattoo covered thugs.

Alana Zee just drops the knife, opens her mouth, and screams shrilly. "They killed them! They killed them all! Help me!" Bloody hands are waved as she clutches some poor dancing girl, leaving blood all over her spangly party dress. "They're coming! They're coming to kill us all!" Little panic-maker.

Screams! People see the bloody sight of Alana and just begin to panic. Her words make them flee! There is sudden mayhem and chaos! People turn and trample over one another in a mad dash to get to the door. One poor Twilek gets trampled over and her lekku being smashed in the footfalls of crazed people.

Alana Zee runs with the rest, pushing and shoving and screaming in an attempt to cause the most destruction and panic, her heel crushing the tip of one twitching lekku without a thought. Out onto the street, the diminutive form of the fence slipping through the gaps in the crowd.

People stream out of the building and there is no way the thugs can contain the mass hysteria. Alana is able to slip out and onto the street of the city, able to get home
