Around the edges of the hangar half a dozen kitchenettes have been set up, providing cuisine from different regions of Iridonia. All dishes are meat and protein heavy, but the spices and choices of meat used differ by region. A drink station has been set up to each side, and a serving droid circulates with drinks as well. Small tables for eating are also clustered along the sides, a middle aisle being left open from the door of the hangar to the Kal'Ayure so that small cargo pods and lifts can drive through to the ship. Every opening to the Hangar has at least one pair of Zabrak guards.

The cargo hold of the Kal'Ayure, usually empty save for a few boxes in the corner, is half full tonight with open cargo containers to be filled with donations, while the other half is open for the deposit of cargo containers being donated by larger consortiums and organizations.

At the bottom of the ramp, four zabrak stand guard while two aids scan and check in the donations. After clearing the donations for explosives or other possible harmful items that could be hidden inside, they instruct a third one as to the color sash the donor should receive. Arrayed in a semicircle that follows the line of the ship's hull above it are five pedestals, each covered with a different cloth that trails to the ground on all sides, and surrounded by velvet ropes of the same color.

The Red pedestal displays a glass case holding a DL-44 and Selonian Glaive, with six blastech power cells arrayed in a fan in front of them. The card reads that the Red Sash is for donations of Five Tons of supplies.

The Blue Pedestal displays another glass case, with a small rack supporting a Force Pike and a Gaderffi. This card reads that the blue sash are for those who donate One Ton, and that these items were donated by the Waywards Organization.

The Green Pedestal has a larger glass case, surrounding two sets of CNG battle armor, one heavy and one medium. The card announces that One Half Ton of donations will receive a green sash.

The Yellow Pedestal displays a napping, shiny, R5 Unit, and will need One Quarter Ton of supplies donation to wear a Yellow Sash.

The Purple Pedestal has a prop in the middle to hold the shiny Mobquet Flare S Speeder. This card reads for donors of One Eighth Ton or less.

A repulsorpallet, followed by a group of people arrives , a Mirialan dressed in a black skirt-suit peeking out from behind it "Right, Senator. Greetings from captain Gonne." she points at the palet "With a few of my own supplies. A few old, scuffed devices I was able to claim replacements at the manufacturer for. Don'tworry, a few dead pixels down the middle of the heartrate monitor aside, which drove me utterly nuts, they work just fine. They just don't look as pretty." she winks "A few boxes of almost overdue burn ointment... don't worry, it should do for half a year without issue as the manufacturer is generous. As long as it doesn't turn amber it shall work... ah. A few sets of brand-new surgical instruments, a few dozen boxes worth of disposable masks and gloves respectively, a box full of scrubs, sadly all in my size..." she continues rattling off goods, mostly medical with some preservable food along with it. Seems like 5 tonnes rather easily, at least volume-wise. Half of it are 'unusable' medicines. Savinia here can confirm as she is a doctor as well."

Slowly making his way on board the ship, Kryll the bounty hunter has dressed for the occasion. His bounty armor has been colored appropriately, white, with black and bronze highlights, according to the invitation. His White and RED BB unit rolls in along side him, beeping at the man. "Yes, I am aware that you are slightly breaking their invitation. I think we will be alright." The hunter is carbineless, which is an oddity, as well as no sidearms attached to his armor. Nothing readily visible, but who is to say he is completely unarmed. He makes sure to stay out of the way of all the onboarding vehicles, and cargo, and starts making the rounds.

Jax was minus any sashs was holding a drink and circulating through the crowd. He was sipping a drink and trying to look intrested, refined, and joval. Though the Represenative's husband had already peaked at the side exit three times in the last seven minutes. The last incident involved a little old lady pinching his cheek.

Sion pushes her own repulsorpallet inside, having a little trouble because of her tight nerf-leather skirt. She toggles on a datapad and offers it to Nu. "It's mostly medicine, about three tons' worth. But there's two boxes of surplus scrubs, mixed sizes, about 200 cans of processed meat block with veggies in, three bacta tank refill canisters, and eight folding hospital cots with bedding, slightly used but spotlessly clean." She nods to Saanvi and Adhar. "I can't believe you talked me into this..."

Ambrosia Greystorm did always love the smell of well-seasoned meat. At and away from the dinner table.

The second-to-oldest Resistance General still alive makes her approach less efficiently, on foot, marching a long-legged stride down the aisle ahead of three heavily loaded hoversleds. The sleds are linked together magnetically and all putter along by the beckoning of device held in hand. Zero muscle required, this mission.

When at last the parade ahead of her has been caught up with, she slows to a halt. The skirt-like legs of her pantsuit flutter gracefully into stillness around her ankles while she waits. Staring straight ahead. Her chin, at least, faces forward. Her /eyes/, however, are returning a appraisingly long look to one of the drink stations. Then the other. They are equally well beyond her reach.

White ribbon lacing expands and recedes with a deeply drawn breath and exhaled sigh. Black and white, black and white...two of the things this galaxy isn't. True to form, she'd donned one small article of private resistance - a GRAY belt/holster. But the rest of her plays by the rules, elegantly.

Lofty the Talz is a giant white-wooled alien with four black eyes, so he does not need to dress the part for a black-and-white party. But he does wear a white Nabooian Flower of Life cameo pinned to his fur, probably given to him by someone from Naboo. He and his Gabdorin deckhand Milquetweed pushe two hoversleds full of crates marked FOODSTUFFS. The crates appear to be modified horticultural suspensor-field containers used for shipping fruits and vegetables. The pair pause within the hangar as their goods are scanned.

Pulling up in a speeder truck, and stopping in an empty area, Lorana steps out in her little black dress and white headdress. There's lek-waves to everyone present, as she opens it up for it to be checked. "Greeting Senator! Canned food, clothes, medication. All Twi'lek specific. I wanted to make sure my people were looked after here. All of it is one ton," she says.

"Just pull up to the ramp, Belate, I'm sure they'll have a process in place to help offload everything." That's right, somebody had let her BB unit drive the repulsor sledge. Not fast enough to leave him screaming though, as he liked to do, so he was clearly being good. He had also come dressed for the occasion, with black, hopefully temporary, decals covering the usual blues and greens of of his chassis, leaving only the white exposed against that darker hue. He matched Nerys as well who had chosen a simple black jumpsuit with a white sash to offset her figure.

Once Belate had successfully set the sledge idling and waiting to be checked in, he bounced himself down to the entry ramp to follow Nerys up and into the ship, chirping and twittering to himself as if he were looking for people he knew.

Jax makes his way in his rotation to come stand next to Amber. He takes a sip of his drink. He looks around for a moment. "Glad you made it." Then he reaches up to rub his cheek. "I thought you were the scariest woman in the galaxy. I just met your better." He says with a wink. "84 standard years old. Going for the R5. Has 7 children, 21 grandchildren, and I forgot how many Great Grand children. FIngers like durasteel." As the drinking droid zips past, Jax intercepts a drink that nearly gives him a protest but then sees who it is and hands it to Amber.

The aid looks up as Nubri approaches, types in the donations to the pad, then waits a moment for the sticker to print out. Another aid slaps it on, the contents are scanned, then loaded up into the cargo hold. Nubri is handed a red sash and encouraged to enjoy the food. Sion, also, is entered into the tablet, the appropriate stickers come out, and her donation is tagged, scanned, and pushed up the ramp. She's handed blue sashes, and the line continues forward.

As the donations begin to flow up the ramp, Sesti comes down from the ship, and stands with the aid, making small talk and greeting the donors. She even helps settle a sash on a person or two, giving them a smile as she does so.

Saanvi doesn't respond to Sav as she doesn't recognize that name but after catching Nubri's expectant look she oh's and recites precisely as if from memory, "Sixteen crates of nonadhevsive sterile gauze pads 2x2, 4x4, 10x10, One hundred grates sterile saline and IV kits complete with pediatric to cardiac catheter kits, Six crates of intubation kits organized by age and species, Ten crates of wo-..Would you simply like a copy of the invoice, Doctor Nubri? There is a complete inventory included within the shipment but I can return to the ship and send you a copy directly if you require?"

Lofty and Milquetweed the Gabdorin are given sashes of various colors, though Lofty privately tells the guards that he does not wish to enter any drawings because of the peculiarities of Talz gift-giving and prize-winning culture. A guard removes the top of one of the large horticultural crates, revealing a dazzling array of fruits. Jewel-fruit, manta pears, nikkle nuts, oi-oi berries, Jybbuk-fruit, pallie, Roonan lemons, scry-mint, shuura fruit, sunberries, purple meiloorun melons, joganfruits, muja fruit, and thorn pears are all stuffed into the crate to the brim! "Fresh fruit very important," Lofty warbles to Sesti Greystorm through his proboscis.

Lorana recieves a blue sash, the colour going well with her skin tone. She idly makes her way passed the pedastals, looking at what's being offered. Eventually she winds up by Jax, Amber and the others, where she says, "Looks like you've got a good event going on."

Nubri shakes her head "No, Sav. You are staying here." she smiles, reaching to squeeze her shoulder "Have some fun at this kriffing party. It is why we are truly here." she explains, patting her back "You will be welcome." she raises an eyebrow "And don' tthey try *not* to welcome you." she mutters "As far as they are concerned, you are just another citizen." she explains, before making her way inside, waving after Si to follow her with a grin. Party night! As she comes inside, she grins at Sesti "Senator! Jazz! Lagonda." she coughs into her fist, deciding to try to switch languages

A ton equated to a lot of things. A lot of one item, or a collection of items, yet still.. a lot. Poe Dameron did not own a lot. His life, much as it was now and much as it had always been, was constantly on the move. So accumulating things, much less a lot of things, was a rarity for the former spice runner. His arrival was quiet, and the 1 ton palcon (pallet container) was settled upon the ground long enough to be inspected.

Inside, neatly arranged, were all the non-perishable food items he could find. With help from Jess and Kare, Poe had managed to add things like water sanitation tablets (a mass quantity for those who had to rely on stream water!!), ration protein such as meat sticks, spiced and un-spiced, yet favorable and tasty all the same. Beneath the food, in a separate container was canvas and collapsed upright poles with rope and stakes. What better way to eat a meal than beneath a shelter you have put up yourself. There was ample food selection, yet it was everything Poe Dameron could do to put together a ton, given his limited time traveling and the resources available. He hoped it would serve well enough.

When they closed the palcon, Poe remained outside, patting the edge of the big box and saluting it. He felt humbled by the showing of others, prompting him to look at his buddy, Bee-Bee Eight and shrug. "We did what we could, buddy."

Kryll waiting for the supplies from the consortium to get loaded, he spots his own cargo being loaded. A small contribution, and one that looks like it has been through some stuff. He makes his way to Sesti, pausing to look at his droid Six who beeps something to him. A quick nod as he faces Sesti, "Representative Greystorm. I apologize for the condition of the containers of the medical supplies we are donating, but, it appears someone believed they should go somewhere else. I assure you that the contents are pristne." he offers her a smile. "Now that I am operating my own medical clinic, it has been an interesting endeavor compared to the combat operations I am used to. One ton of medical supplies, I hope they are used well."

Sesti nods to Kryll, lowering her head respectfully for a moment. "It is what is inside that is most important, yes?" she asks as the aid slaps the sticker on the boxes, and she hands the blue sash to Kryll herself. "I hope you can enjoy the party, feel free to take some food home with you."

And among the rest, Adhar comes walking with a Klatoonian crewman in a black jumpsuit, standing at the controls of a mid-sized repulsorcart that bears a neat double-stack of sealed, rubberized spply crates. Black and white, down to the implant in his face. No flash. At the loading area, Adhar steps back to allow the aides to see about scanning in the containers and their contents, hands behind his back. It'll take a minute after all. Meanwhile he gives the assembled crowd a bit of a once-over, smiling faintly. Good turnout.

Saanvi eyes all those gathered and softly opines, "I said I would attend, doctor. I find myself out of my depth in social situations, as you yourself have commented on." She clasps her small black clutch "Your idea of amusement and mine apparently are outliers on the opposite end of the curve, Doctor. I will do my utmost best to not embarrass myself or the Array." She makes absolutely no promise to have fun. She has not yet spotted any other kindred spirits which may be here.

Nerys, seeing one of the Zabrak who was checking in the donations, directed him to her sledge. It was the sort of random and randomly useful supplies that one needed when they were on the move and in need of supplies that could be used in the field. Dried pastas, jerky, field medical packs, freeze-dried and shelf stable survival meals, you know the sort of thing. She accepted the blue sash, slipping it slightly over the white one she had walked in wearing, setting it her outfit off nicely. What Belate was up to was a secret, top secret, but looked as though it involved hunting Jax down like a manka cat. Worst +1 ever. He pulled up sort, seeing Jax was already speaking to an unknown (to him) woman.

Sion waves back dutifully to Nu, then bows her head and smiles to Sesti, receiving her blue sash and four blue chances. "Senator... thanks. This is for a good cause," she says, perhaps explaining how Nubri talked her into donating. "I know what it's like to lose a home. Maybe this'll make it easier for those poor people."

Kryll takes the sash from Sesti, looking uncertain what to do with it at first before spotting others putting theirs on. "Oh, it is a decoration. Thank you." he smiles to Sesti and steps out of the way for others to speak with her, and takes several moments figuring out which shoulder goes through the sash. Once its in place he fidgets with it a bit, before letting it settle. "Ok, that part is done. Now, let us see if Dameron has made an appearance or not so we can attempt to speak with him. I am starting to believe we heavily offended him since he is doing a very good job of avoiding us." he looks about the area, packed with people. "If you spot him, beep loudly or something."

"Mmm, yes? Well, we all need something to aspire to, now don't we?" Ambrosia presses her lips into a lopsided smile and hooks a thumb into belt. The procession is again on the move and she leads the hoversleds onward to the ramp. The hand holding the remote motions to each sled while she rattles off a summarized list of contents. "Quarter ton thermal linens, eighth ton MREs, eighth ton nutrient gel packs, aaaand..." a pause while she lingers on a crate stacked on the third sled. Mind fart. "Half ton deydrated soap." Which will make a LOT of suds, for a lot of people. "Enjoy."

Lorana gets a vague little upnod hello, and she follows Poe's exit with a thoughtful nod to self.

Nubri sighs, smiling "Look. WE both know I am not the life of a frellin' party either, right? If anyone gives you trouble, tell them to shove it up the Nal, allright?" she nods to Si "I hope it does." she sighs "I mean, if they need more, we can always fly over." she muses, smiling at Saanvi "Just get drinks, stand at the corner, and observe them being drunk eyes." she explains, making no sense, likely. She smiles "Anyone want a drink?"

The sharp clack-clack-clack of heels against a hard surface is drowned out by the general din of the starport as Kasia makes her approach, a controlled hover-cart moving along behind her. Her outfit fits the requested dress-code in the form of a black floor-length dress that has been tailored for her, almost off the shoulder with a gentle scooped neckline. Her jewelry is silver set with white stones marbled with veins of black, with a similar ring and matching earrings. She also wears a half cape that on the outside is black, but the lining inside is a silky white material. The little cart hovers along behind her and slows to a stop as she does, turning on her heels to move in Poe's direction first.

Saanvi looks to Nubri, "This attire is impractical for." She looks down at herself and settles the blue sash across her shoulders "Well. Impractical in general but certainly for trouble. I am uncertain why I would be given 'trouble' but if I were, leaving seems rather more appropriate than starting a brawl at an event which is meant to foster generosity, eh?" her gaze takes a quick sweep around the room taking a survey of the room, noting most have drinks she somewhat reluctantly agrees, "Drinks. Yes."

As the tables for seating and the chef's kitchenettes have been set up around the outside of the hangar, the middle of it remains mostly empty of guests, only a few passing across at times to the other side. In the middle of this empty space a sudden column of red smoke rises to the rafters, spreading to almost ten feet in diameter. As the smoke lowers and roils out along the floor towards the edges of the crowd, five figures stand in an arrow pointing towards the Kal'Ayure, towards Sesti standing at the bottom of the ramp as she talks with one of the aids to check the numbers so far. Each figure stands with two blades down and out to the sides, pointing to the floor behind them, wearing tunics of black trimmed in red and sashes of red wrapped three times around their waists. The one in the front and the ones at the ends of the V are male, while the two in the middle of each side are female.

Nubri sighs "Well, can't say I dsiagree." she mutters, smiling "And they shouldn't give you trouble. Just... relax." she points "See? Kreel is there. More friends then me." she explains "The Captain is there. Me and Siam pay attention for you. You have friends. I wanted food, and I heard Mrs. Galestorm were a good senator." she goes to squeeze Saanvi "I think I saw a nice stand with green tea." she blinks, narrowing her eyes "Anyone see something kriffing suspicious?" she wonders, sighing "And of course tonight I forget my blaster. Starwalker!" she mutters, trying not to sound too much like an uneducated idiot "You think our waiters have blades?" she deadpans, looking at Si "I knew I should have picked up Martial Arts." she blinks "no. Wait. Seems to be part of the show."

Sion glances up as Nubri comes over, and nods to Saanvi again since the other woman is with her. "I think I'm with you, Saanvi. I'd rather be out for a ride than trying to pretend I'm comfortable here," she admits, tugging lightly at the hem of her leather skirt. "It's a good cause, but I think I would've rather made my donation quietly... and from someplace else." The sudden column of smoke rising from the ground to the rafters, and growing in width, draws her attention. Her eyes open wide. "Um, Nu? Saan? Is it just me, or are there things /moving/ in there?"

Saanvi smiles reassuringly to Nubri, "I must fledge some time, no? It will be fine." She assures and makes her way away from the gaggle of those she entered with, pausing as she notes the colored smoke and then turning to watch the hostess, "It seems to be expected." Noting that the hostess does not look alarmed she simply seeks an out of the way spot to observe whatever is unfolding.

Nerys, who was moving off to look at the offerings that were being 'auctioned' off of a sort, left the droid to his own devices, which, if Belate managed to pilot was to ask after where he might find Exine, his most favouritest buddy. As Nerys' attention was on the DL-44, her head popped up. Perhaps it was the whiff of smoke, or the feeling one sometimes got when they knew they were no longer alone, her eyes darted away to the entry, a hand reaching for the glaive in its place on the rack, eyes never leaving the billowing smoke and the figures drifting in and out of view in it. Better to be ready than dead, right?

Poe kneels down beside BB-8, and is talking quietly, still outside for the moment. Kasia may have seen Poe, but his back is oriented to her while he's knelt down. That is until BB-8's head peeks to one side to look her way, which prompts Poe to turn and look as well. Clack-clack-clack-clack.. indeed. Poe slowly rises up to his modest height, offering the Nar Shaddaa native a charming grin. "Kaaaaaw-seeee-uuuuuuuuhhhh." He says in his drawn out way, and offers to hug. He's a hugger.

Upon parting he turns slightly to observe a spectacle that, at first, gave him alarm. Dark figures, descending!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!

But they have matching tattoos, and it doesn't seem to be an issue? "I uhh, sorry.. the thing going on in there.. -- How are you?" Poe says, somehow managing to recover. His dark eyes settle on Kasia for the moment, but briefly tear away to look back inside. This may surprise a lot of people, but ol' Poe was easily distracted on account of his years of overwhelming paranoia.

Nubri nods "Frankly... me as well." she explains, her accent betraying she isn't a Coruscanti Socialite "As I said, I am just doing my job..." she blinks "Right. They are moving. Fancy light show?" she muses, tilting her head, putting her hands on her hips "I mean, I am sure hoping there is some D'Qari security around here." she sighs "And I know, I sound like a madwoman... the senate would eat me up in a second, no?"

Lofty the Talz grabs a couple of oi-oi berries with his massive white paw before the guards take away his crates of fruit. Milquetweed, his Gabdorin deckhand/croupier, takes a rare purple meiloorun melon for the road and proceeds to waddle back to Lofty's freighter. Lofty turns around to admire the appearance of the five entertainers with blades. It must be some sort of Iridonian dance troupe / magic show!

Jax watches his mother move on then turns to see Belate. "Hey there, Little Guy. How's Nerys?" He says then there's smoke and figures. His eyes flicker ot Sesti. Then at the arrival of the other side of the family, Jax shrugs. Then he looks down at Belate. "Alright what are you up too? I thought I saw some other BB units in the crowd."

It may just be that the lead sword wielder winks at Sesti, but it's hard to tell with all those tattoos and the smoke.

It's impossible to not grin back at that infectious smile, which is why Kasia is grinning by the time she reaches Poe. He moves in for a hug, and she is happy to return said hug, squeezing the man for a few moments before letting go. She's just about to say something, but follows Poe's gaze. She just arrived and is wholly unsure of what is happening, if this should be happening, so she doesn't seem too alarmed. Instead her focus goes back to Poe. "I'm doing well, thank you. You're looking well. How have you been?"

Great, blue sash, yaaaaaaaay...

Ambrosia witholds remarks when she's draped in the sash and leaves the hoversleds to be dealt with. Her eyes only roll skyward when she's turned on heel to find that other general with the good hair and /that/...is when things get weird.

RED SMOKE!! It's a kneejerk reaction, how quickly that sportknife teleports from hip to hand when shady figures make their descent. And for a moment, looks like grannystorm might put a splash of crimson into this black'n'white tie party. Fortunately, she's starkly aware of how Sesti seems...not. Aware. Or not caring? Mmmmm....

The old rebel hesitates, standing awkwardly aside and stealing little glances around the vacuous space to see who else is watching this odd display of something. Is this a gag? Unsure, she waits to find out and keeps firm hold on her own weapon, albeit pretending to dig out a little dirt under fingernail with the wicked edge.

As his donation is being checked in, Adhar stands squinting...well, half-squinting at the colored smoke. Sesti's lack of a reaction causes him to relax as well. Wealthy spectacle, perhaps. A faint smile lines his lips, and as the scanning aides depart he is given his one-ton scarf. Off toward Sesti he begins to travel, casual as you please, looking on as the show begins to unfold.

How was Nerys? <Too busy to go flying. Can we go flying? Where's Exine?> Ah, Belate, he only really ever had one thing on his mind. When everyone seemed to be turning to see the commotion, the BB unit's head spins around, his little arc welder which really was only a danger if you were a circuit board popped out of his chassis, and he rolled in front of Jax. Such security. Much impress. As for his owner, well, Nerys was still standing by the weapons rack, left hand casually wrapped around the shaft of the glaive. Not her weapon of choice, but she'd take what she could get.

As the smoke clears, a drumbeat starts up from the side of the hangar, and the five sweep their swords up in front of them, crossing their arms and then ending with them out to the sides. With arms out straight, and blades pointed straight up, they spin, the women remaining in place as the men switch, moving in straight lines as they spin until the V is pointing in the opposite direction, towards the hangar door, then they stop, reversing the sweep of their sweep swords, crossing in front of them once more and then sweeping back to the ground as they go down to one knee and bow their heads to the audience. The drumming gives a resounding thump that echoes into silence, before starting again slower.

Kryll looks to Six, "Is this some kind of martial demonstration?" he looks over to the people as they are going through their motions. "Well, as that is not a threat, it is not a concern. I still have not found Dameron. Have you seen him?" he furrows his brows slightly as he continues to scan the crowd. "I was certain he would attend an event like this, the way he interacts with, well, every woman we have seen him encounter. This seemed to be a guarentee."

Sion watches... what is developing into a show, not an ambush. She takes a half-step back: They /are/ waving around sharp objects, after all, and she's not dressed for being in the way of sharp things. "Think this is some Iridonian cultural thing?" she asks Nu, nodding in the direction of the act. She also sees Adhar moving in the direction of their hostess. "I suddenly /really/ hope it is..."

Nubri nods "I mean, given Zabraks are a warrior culture, I believe so." she says, smiling "Now, excuse me, I would like to talk to the Senator as well." she explains, making her way over there, clapping for the performers.

Saanvi makes her way towards Kryll, "Mr. Kryll. Six. I am pleasantly surprised to see you at this event. I was not aware the clinic was branching out to philantropy in other systems."

Adhar has to walk a piece, and though while he keeps an eye on the...artists, his pace is unhurried. It's seriously impressive, after all.

"He's on the Painted Guardian it's in the main port if you want to go visit him, two berths down. I don't have time to go flying. I got to stay here and help with this." Jax says to the little droid. Then he sees Nerys eyeing the Dl-44 and points down that her droid is with him. Then he turns to continue with his meet and greet. He walks past Lofty, "Thank you for the Fruit. I'm sure the people would need something healthy and lift their spirits." Another eye to the Iridonians being Iridonians. He comes to stand next to Adhar, "Gann. Thank you for coming and donating." Holding out a Corellian whiskey he'd accquired for the man.

THEY HAVE WAR DRUMS NOW!!-- Poe turns from the demonstration to regard Kasia as she speaks to him. HE IS POLITE AFTERALL. "I'm alright. It's been a bit quiet. I appreciate you.. helping me with that new study. I've been working on that some-- it's helped. A lot. Keep my mind busy." He admits, the tone of which carries a bit more seriousness to it than Poe normally conveys. "Where's your husband? I ask only because you're here alone, and well.." He offers his arm to be her gentleman escort for the evening.

Kryll turning to the familiar voice and offers a smile when he sees Saanvi addressing him. "Hello Saanvi. You appear to be unprepared for a combat or medical engagement. Is that made of blaster resistant fabric perhaps? This decoration is strange, but it seems to be a tradition for those attending." he fidgets with it, then nods, "Well, keeping the medical clinic stocked is one of my jobs, and well, business goes well sometimes." he leans in slightly, "Pirates seemed to not want me to have it, but the medical supplies themselves are still untouched."

Nubri blinks, continuing her quick speed as well "Jazz!" she says, smiling "Nellie! And.. Senator." she says, bowing her head towards the Zabrak "I only wanted to say that, in the case Iridonia needed medical services, I could fly over." she nods at Adhar "Of course, in my spare time, I might be available. I trust Kreel has Nar covered relatively well."

Belate's sad chirp soon perked up, as he got news of his erstwhile besties location. Belate was soon rolling off, chirping a cheery, if hurried greeting to the others of his design he saw as he passed out of the ship and off into the landing pad. If Nerys had been nearby, she likely would have been worried, given that two astromechs could conceivably pilot a ship themselves. But what she did not know would not hurt her. At least she released the weapon, moving away from the table lest she be tempted, and moving out to where she could better observe the demonstration. Space Nerds gotta Nerd. The greeting from Nubri did get a hand raised in greeting. "Good to see you, Nubri."

Saanvi gives Kryll a deeply chagrined sidelong look, "I was assured, repeatedly in fact, that this was appropriate attire for this occasion. It is is true I am not kitted for combat but I am ALWAYS prepared for a medical emergency." she reassures. She chuffs softly as she leans it to listen "Well, separating ships from their cargo is something Pirates are rather known for doing. I am pleased all is well, what is it that brings you to this..." She comes up short a moment trying to think of the appropriate phrase "..charity event?"

As the drumming begins again, the dancers rise, first the front one, the next two, then the last two. As the rise, their arms sweep out, and they hold their swords out in front of them, parallel, with one pointing to the ground, one pointing up. Another sweep and they reverse the directions the swords are pointing. Then, extending their arms, the begin to spin, and as they spin they bring their swords behind them, crossing them in an X against their backs as they form a circle.

"I was attempting to locate General Dameron, I wished to have a conversation with him. However, he is very elusive." Kryll replies to Saanvi, "Well, I am glad you are always prepared for a medical emergency, however it is clear that attire does not properly off any if all protection." he looks about before looking back to Saanvi. "Are you here as part of the Consortium?"

The empty pallet and its canine pilot dismissed, Adhar spots Nerys - and shuffles quietly a bit further back to where the yacht sits landed and fat with charity loot. You know. Casual-like.

There are drums, and swords, and it's all very interesting, but Poe is charming enough to steal Kasia's focus away from the demonstration. "I am happy to help," she assures with a warm smile, which only grows as the arm is offered to her. She slides her own around it, leaning in close enough that her shoulder bumps into him while giving his arm a gentle squeeze. "Hex wasn't feeling up for dressing fancy and being social today," not that Hex is ever one to truly *want* to dress fancy. "And he also found a new buffet that he's never been to before that offered a wide selection of unique foods, so he may end up there before the day is over." She doesn't seem to be the least bit upset that they're each doing their own thing today, especially not with such charming company on her arm.

Sion circles wide of the show, watching as best she can, and moves to join Adhar near the yacht. It's a lot easier to pretend you're comfortable in good company... and away from crowds. "Boss," she says, nodding casually, and smiles faintly. "Is your collar too tight, too?" The Klatooinan gets a polite nod as well, though she doesn't know him from Ladadog.

Kriffin entertainment.

Greystorm Sr mutters something underbreath as she jams the knife back into its sheath and headshakes her way over to the drink dispensory. Whisky. Two f--no, three. The third's for good luck. After tossing back the sip, she helps self to a longer lasting beverage - glass of wine. It's this jet-cooling juice that she carries with her on a slow meander through the crowd whilst watching the artful display of form and figure and sharp objects. Initial reactions aside, she can appreciate this kind of dancing.

While the General's standing around she overheads the mentioning of Poe's name and passes an idle glance in that direction. And then a double-take, noting the man dressed in armor. A fairly recent convo with one 'Peaches' replays in her head and she hmmmmmmmmmmmmms thoughtfully, even as her feet already begin to plot a slow, calculated course in his direction.

Saanvi exhales and fidgets, "I was told that this was a strictly social engagement. I do not understood what about social engagements require impractical footware or garments intended purely for ornamentation." her brow furrows, "I am torn between wondering your business with any general and concern if your interest in a man who is known to be dangerous and very cautious is wise. Please do exercise all prudence on this matter. I find the thought of your demise somewhat distressing."

"If you're not halfway in your way to a cardiac episode, Subofficer, you're not doing it right." Adhar flashes Sion a faint smile. "But no. I'm just...being suspicious. And looking sharp while doing it, of course. As do we all. Well done." A beat. "Go have fun."

Sesti smirks a little at the demonstration, and her gaze wanders. She notes her mother in law tossing back a few before walking around with a wine glass, as if anyone would think that is all she is drinking tonight. Her eyes wander over the crowd, resting fondly on Jax for a moment, but waiting until he comes closer to speak with him.

Poe is relieved that Kasia decides to take his offered arm, his smile widening. "That sounds like Hex. I wonder if it's the same one I'm thinking of.." Poe leads Kasia toward the check-in where the sashes are and gestures politely.

"I'm to understand that our ticket into this event are those sashes. They represent what we've donated. Prior to your arrival, I turned in 1 ton. I think they'll be expecting a shipment of sorts." Poe had no doubt that Kasia came prepared, but he at least tried to supply the Lady with some context to gaining admittance.

Kryll considers Saanvi's words. "Is it strange that I do not?" he inquires. "I will be careful, we have not shot each other yet, there is a good chance that we will not shoot each other the next time we meet." he offers a smile, "I made sure to review the briefing for this event, and it said that attire required was black and white in color. Since material was not listed, I deemed my choice suitable and comfortable." he looks over Saanvi. "I am glad those shoes are not part of any kit that I have been expected to wear. They are simply not practical at all unless they are to wield weapons on your feet."

When the dancers come to a stop, their swords are raised and crossed in an X over their heads. The three men end up as a triangle as the women step forward, and stand back to back. Their blades sweep down and cross down at their sides. Then they raise, each pointing their swords to the right, right arm extended and left arm curved over their heads. They pivot away from each other, then turn, and pass each other in high leaps, their blades flashing over head.

Nubri makes her way back over to Adhar and Si, after smiling at Sesti and Jazz, nodding at Nerys "This isn't a place for me." she begins "I... am not the soul of a party. Oddly enough I feel constrained by the idea of this... Molavari language. You know I don't normally curse but this feels like.... some basic freedom were taken." she muses "You don't feel too sure either, captain?" she wonders, loosening her tie a little, having gotten a cup of tea on the way back "Tea?" she offers "Ususally steadies those.... Lostarian nerves."

Jax watches Adhar walk off and shrugs. Though as Nubri calls out his name or rather the name she seems to think is his. "Thank you, I will make sure that Represenative Greystorm knows of you willinginess to volunteer." He then shifts drinks around for a moment and produces a comlink from his coat, "Exine, Belate is on his way. Treat him as company but no flying." There's a complaint from the R2 unit of why does it have to be friendly with that little kid. THen there's a heavy sigh and a fine. All in droid beeps.

Jax slips the comlink away and seeing his Mother making a calculated course for Kryll. He makes his way to Kryll and Saanvi, "Thank you for donating." He looks to Saanvi's sash, "Intrested in winning the Gaffy stick and Force Pike? Oh I'm Representative’s Spouse Jax." He offers his hand to Kryll and then to Saanvi.

Seeing something of a lull in the show, Nerys took that as a cue, and she made her way, not for any of the drinks, but for the various and sundry offerings of food, picking up a plate and moving from station to station, taking a small portion from each. Which, given how many stations there were did end up with quite a heavy plate. Hey! All this food wasn't going to eat itself.

"Well, I knew I was a bad fit for command. This just proves it," Sion quips, casually bopping Adhar's shoulder with her fist. "Why so suspicious? I might as well ask; I'm having about as much fun as a town drunk in a sand pit. I guess it's the crowds." She nods in the direction of the show around Sesti. "At least the entertainment's interesting." She nods to Nubri as the Mirialan comes over. "Pass, Nu, but thanks. Enjoying the show?"

Saanvi's lips turn downwards "It is strange. Yes. It is also far less than reassuring though I prefer honesty to platitudes." She draws in a deep breath and looks down at herself "Would that I also was blessed with non-linear logic." She laments softly affording Kryll a warm if still gently chagrined smile.

When Jax approaches she bows her head briefly in greeting, "It is our most sincere pleasure. We hope that it addresses need where ever it is found." She ahhhs and looks to Kryll to see if he understands what's being said about a competition and then looks back to Jax. She doesn't answer Jax, having acquired a deer in the headlights in an unexpected social situation in which she has clearly no idea what the appropriate answer is. She wears a blue Sash and a frozen expression.

"I have no idea, but he was reading the information on it and seemed very excited," Kasia informs Poe, words trailed by a little laugh. "I believe a few of our crew are going with him, so if Hex eats himself into a coma there's someone to look after Boon." He leads her over to the check-in, the modest hovercart floating along at a safe distance. Once there she guides the donations over to the appropriate people, and takes her purple sash to denote one eigth ton. "Hex probably would have enjoyed this too," she admits as she motions out toward the food tables. "I think he was worried it would be like the restaurants I've taken him to in the past, very fancy food, but small portions."

Kryll looks to Jax as he arrives and offers a nod in greeting, then shakes the offered hand. He looks to Saanvi's sash, and then his own since they appear to be the same color. "There are items that are to be won? Is there a combat to determine the winners? The last event that I was in that involved prizes involved a grand combat melee, I did not think this was that kind of event. Perhaps I have dressed accordingly, and not just for comfort." he pauses, "Also, hello Representative Spouse Jax. That is not a title or rank I have heard before, is it rare or uncommon title?"

When the two women come together in the center again, the three men spin with their swords over head, holding the pommels together so that the blades point outwards. Then the women come back out to the circle, and all five of them travel around clockwise, in spinning kicks that make their tunics swirl and flutter as the blades catch the light at their chests and overhead. The lead male stops in front of Sesti, then the rest stop in line behind him, and they hold their swords out to their sides at different levels so they look like a giant circle of blades when seen from the front. With a flourish, the step into the V shape again, then bow one last time, right sword pointing down to the ground, left sword on the ground across in front of them.

"Nah," says Adhar, "The show's fine. I was more worried someone mght be dumb enough to try and run off with the supplies. Happily enough, no such thing." Not that he's going to be able to do much about it with naught but a scarf, but hey, stranger things have happend. "Looks lik it's going to be fine, though - love that synchronicity, though. Watch them move."

Nubri nods at Si "Rather nice." she explains "Love the spectacle. Still, Parties aren't for me. As everyone knows I am the soul of them." she shrugs, nodding "Yeah. Love it." she sighs "I think I am going to stay here and just watch."

Poe collects his blue sash, donning it carefully before offering to help Kasia with her's. With hair and half capes, it could quickly turn into an ordeal, and THAT was the point of having a gentleman help!

"Yeah, all those credits for little portions and no sauce. I hate going to fancy places. I've been told I can't ask for sauce and stuff or it sets the chef to rage." Poe recounts with a tinge of experience in his voice. Returning to Kasia, he offers his arm again to lead the way up and into the festivities. "Though, judging from the swords, I think you're right. He would've liked this.." Poe adds, leaning a little closer to Kasia to share a quiet laugh.

Ahahahaaa...you sly devil, Jax Greystorm. Your mother sees what you did there.

Ambrosia's mouth is smiling but her eyes hint to other sentiments mulling around under surface. Her gaze lights upon Saanvi's blue sash and she couples that data with Jax's words. Oh. So that's what she's in the running for?

"Force pikes are delightful tools, best of luck it becomes yours," a gentle bow of her head for the unknown woman that sends silver and gold tresses sweeping past either cheekbone and teardrop earings spin-swaying. "It means he is married to the Representative." Amber answers Kryll while taking a small sip of her wine. One hand goes out to Kryll, offered for the taking. A show of congeniality that anyone who knows her will recognize as...NOT her. "General Greystorm. I see you've met my son. Mingling's the name of the game this evening, is it not?" Teeth too polished to be her own /sparkle/ as she goes in for another sip and spares a glance over shoulder to the ending dance.

Jax points to the different color pilars and the sashs they are wearing, "The color sash you're wearing puts you in a running for a drawing for that prize. There is no combat tonight other than the demonstration of Iridonian Martial art display." He raises an eyebrow, "So have a drink and relax." He holds out a tumbler of whiskey to Kryll. "They're on the house. " He shakes his head, "Nah it's not an offical title." He grins, "Hi Mom." Then he looks at the pillar, "I would personally go for the R5. He's cranky but he's got Clone War stories."

Kasia accepts the help that Poe offers, ducking her head down as the sash passes over it, and adjusting it so it sits just so. "Thank you," the words are murmured as she glances back up at Poe. His shared experience at fancy restaurants prompts a soft laugh, and a slight crinkling at the corners of her eyes from amusement. "It's true, they can get awfully uppity when you ask for sauces, or you suggest that something isn't spiced well enough. It's happened to us a couple of times because compared to Twi'lek food, Human food is awfully boring, so if we go to a human focused restaurant inevitably everything is too bland for Hex." Evidently she has a lot of patience for this sort of thing, because it's shared with an unmistakable fondness for the man to which she refers. "He would have liked the sword demonstration though, and then would have wanted to go look at the swords and try them out."

"You do that," Adhar asides to Nubri. "I'm going to pay my respects to our host. Corvara, Doctor." And then he's off, trailing back to where Sesti stands being all governmental and Iridonian. Hands tucked behind his back.

Saanvi remembers to breath when Kryll plows forth carrying on the conversation and then Amber joins. At the word 'General' her eyebrows lift and she tilts her head subtly to her (not so subtly to anyone in the conversation), no doubt wondering if one general is as good as another in Kryll's case. Sbe flushes then as she remembers she's been asked a question she's STILL not answered, "Ah, no. I came to ensure the delivery of supplies. I shall leave the spoils to others. It was very nice to meet you Mr. Greystorm, General. This is Mr. Kryll and I am Dr. Saanvi Cerulean."

Nerys, having found herself a spot to lean against, was more than happy to begin working her way through her meal, mouth closed, except when necessary, ears open, because that was what these sorts of things were for. A smile flashed now and then, as someone she knew passed her, a polite nod when it was someone she didn't. Mostly, she was content to watch the end of her performance.

And then Ambrosia arrives, another General, they are multiplying around here. "Hello General Greystorm." with a quick glance for weapons in the hand, he reaches out and takes her hand, shaking it as seems to be expected tonight. He offers another smile, "Oh, the arrangement two people make to share their domicile and personal belongings." he nods, clearly knowing what they mean now. "I hope that is working out for you Representative Spouse Jax. An R5 with clone war stories? I would enjoy conversing with that droid sometime, no matter who acquires it." and then he turns back to Ambrosia, "Is it? I did not hear any games announced, but it may have been while the martial art display was happening, or perhaps before I arrived here. Mingling does seem like a much more suitable activity for an event like this." and then Saanvi speaks up. "Oh, yes. Apologies. I am Kryll as the Doctor has stated." he gestures to his droid, "And this is Six."

Saanvi clarifies to Kryll, "It's a legal contract for purposes of shared wealth for the purpose of reproduction." as if that clarification was somehow helpful.

Sion, for her part, waves to Adhar as he slips away, remaining where she is to keep an eye on the delivered supplies. It's a lot to carry away, true, but it's... well, still a lot. Temptation's a funny thing. And she's seen some of the things pirates go after.

Dipping her head to one of the aids next to her, Sesti offers a smile to Kasia as she collects her sash, but does not intrude upon the conversation she is having with Poe. The aid she spoke to heads towards one of the food tables, and she takes a deep breath, looking around again. Her husband has joined his mother, or the other way around, talking with people she hasn't met. Then Addy's heading towards her, and she gives a little grin. Stepping from behind the tables, she takes a couple of steps towards him. "Thank you for coming, Adhar," she greets quietly.

Sesti's greeting is returned with a smile, and Adhar lays a hand on his middle as he bows slightly in respect. "Thank you for your invitation," he replies, smiling faintly. "A lovely demonstration of martial prowess, as well." He looks about the hangar a moment before leaning in to murmur to her. From afar, Adhar Gann (Addy) murmurs, "Sorry to be a Suspicious Satrek. Just used to people trying to make off with the goods - speaking of, we have more supplies waiting. I just didn't want to be the guy whose people all showed up with speeder trucks full of stuff, eh?"

Jax looks up to see where Sesti's at and see she's with Adhar. When Kryll shakes his head for the drink. Jax put it on the tray of a serving droid. It can't be any good if two people turn it down. He takes a sip of his own. "That is indeed the technical description of a marriage." He flicks an eye to Amber flicks his eye back and hexamines the pair. "Please just call me Jax. I have no real offical titles. I am not a poltician and I'm not military." He says hooking his thumb into his belt buckle. "It's nice to meet you."

"You'd think most chefs would have taken a class in culture, or anthropology to know the difference. But.. I'm not a chef, I don't even cook.. so my opinion is probably short-sighted. I'm more.. simple. Like Hex. I see food. I eat food." Poe shrugs and grins.

Pausing a moment, he motions to one of the passing attendants, "A drink for the Lady please.." To which earns Kasia an expectant expression to hear what she desired; to drink, that is.

"Dr, Kryll, Six," Ambrosia greets with a firm handshake the returns said hand to a pocket in pantsleg. Her head cants faintly to one side with a subtle narrowing of left eye as she tries to discern if Kryll actually needed the definition of 'marriage' spelled out to him or not. Another look goes to the droid, her son - a product made OUTSIDE such contractual agreement - then back to Kryll.

Maybe it's best to cut to the chase.

"You the kid wanting an audience with Dameron?" All smiles have flatlined now and in its place is cool neutrality.

Kryll exhales happily, "Thank you, that is a very long title and it is tough to know when it is alright not to use a title when it is provided to you in a setting like this." he stands up straight for a moment as Saanvi adds a detail and he looks to her, whispering. "Why?" he looks about, considering that new fact before shaking his head as its unimportant, especially with the General addressing him on much more important matters. "If there is a child looking for a meeting with Dameron as well, then I am not that individual. I am however looking to speak with the General. Is there a line? Was the younger person inquiring for his time before me? I am alright waiting for my turn."

Having finished off her meal, Nerys moved to dispose of her plate and such things, wandering through the cargo speace, which was still being filled up, clearly intent on seeing if she could intercept the Zabrak who had been performing. She had questions. Hopefully they wouldn't skewer her before she had a chance to ask them. As she walked, she activated both her comm and her translator, "Where the blazes are you? I turn--that had better not be an explosion I'm hearing!"

Tilting her head towards Adhar to catch his murmur, Sesti gives him a smile and then shakes her head. "Not to worry..." she pauses as the aid finds her with a plate very full of something that looks like rib meat on bones with lots of spice. For a moment she looks absolutely blissful and smiles her appreciation. "We thank you for all your help, I will send someone for it when things die down and we have more space in the hangar."

Saanvi seems puzzled at the use of 'kid' in reference to Kryll but she does not correct the general. Some things she DID actually learn. Softly to JAx she offers, "Congratulations on your lifelong legal pairbonding, may you box enjoy suitable success producing and rearing your family." She pauses and gives KRyll a perplex furrowed brow stare "Because all living organisms are mortal and reproducing is the upmost biological imparitive for all species including humans. None of us would be here without the imparative that drives seeking of mates and the resulting offspring. What do you mean why?" She ohhhs, "Why do they live together?" A pause "Affection, perhaps." A pause "You are the child, MR. KRyll. Chronologically speaking."

Oh my stars. Are they droids?

"Are you droids?" Newsflash: Ambrosia's no diplomat. A raised brow goes to Jax as though he might shed some light on their incredible...naivete? No, that's not quite the word.

"Y'know what, I don't even care. Don't go anywhere for a sec." She holds up one finger to indicate Kryll need hold his position while she pulls a commlink off her belt and toys with the frequencies a moment, then mutters into it.

Kryll does as the finger directs, and waits there, not that he had plans to go anywhere right now anyway. "Why does she think we are droids, is this like Erisi telling me I have a beige soul? Can she see that too?" he looks to Saanvi and Jax, "Can everyone see it?"

"Wine," Kasia replies in response to the question about a drink, she doesn't seem particular about what kind. It's alcohol, alcohol good. "And I agree," she tells Poe. "I'm not sure why some chefs take it so personally. Things like food, art, music, it's all so subjective, if someone doesn't like something about it, it feels like the sort of thing that you should just accept and move on from." She notes the smile from Sesti, and offers a smile and wave in return.

BB-6A "beep" (BB-Series 10148) looks up to Kryll and shakes his head "ee boop click click ee beep too too beep. beep ee beep beep boop. beep too beep boop ee beep too boop click boop."

"Well, if I can move anything, it's freight." Whatever that might entail. "But...since duty is discharged, I'm off. Thank you again, Representative. Please don't hesitate to call if Iridonia needs anything." And then he's off, heading for an exit, the single stripe of color that is his sash marking him out for a few moments before he vanishes into the night beyond.

Jax frowns as he's trying to work his way through things, he's yet to recieve a message from Exine cause Belate and Exine are together.... on Jax's ship. Though it's not Belate that answers Nerys it's Exine, 'There's a small fire. Don't worry, I got this. It happens all the time. Don't tell Jax. He'll worry about his ship. Wait, What? Disregard that. Everything is fine. We're all fine. Hi, how are you?'

Jax turns back to Kryll, Amber, and Saanvi. He hears the word Erisi and he looks a bit wide eyed. "NO, Mom they're not droids. I think they're like Finn." THat and a couple others he knows.

Saanvi's nostrils flare and her chin lifts, "No. Wholly, organic I assure you." she answers softly, dark flush of embarassment starting at her cheeks down to her throat. Softly to Kryll "I believe I shall allow you to have your conversations with your generals, Mr. Kryll." doing her absolute best to hide her mortification, "It was a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Greystorm. Please do give my regards and gratitude to your wife the Lady Representative for hosting this social event." from the way that flush keeps spreading she may be on her way to find a nice quiet hole to crawl into and die of embarrassment. Softly and with composure she clearly doesn't feel, "Because we have revealed a depth of social ineptitude that makes us being ill programmed HRDs than organic sentients. I so not know what a soul is or what color it should be but if the context seems similar then there is a fair probability that there is a correlation, yes. I believe beige soul may be a euphanism, I am afraid I lack context to say euphanism for what." she directs her gaze at his face but she avoids anyone's gaze at the moment.

After Adhar leaves, Sesti glances around, then finds a table off to the side where she can set down her plate and dig into the pile of meaty goodness. She half closes her eyes as she chews, and then exhales with a smile. She was kriffin' hungry, and this is heaven. After the first of her hunger has been slaked, she keeps half an eye on things as they progress around her.

Nerys head popped up, checking to see exactly how loud that translator droid might be and if what was translated made it back to where Jax was standing. Hopefully not. "It had better be. I don't run enough credits to pay for repairing that ship and Kael will kill me if you broke something Jax cares about." Because bros before hos, yo. "Just get it under control, would you?" And then her best company smile. Everything was fine. Nothing to see here. Hey! Some armed dancers to speak to.

"Art's purpose, mission rather, is to make someone feel something. Disgust, hate, lothing, nausea.. these are feelings. Though, maybe not their desired goal with their art, it's still achieving its purpose." Poe says in a less so elegant way. He talks like a soldier, someone who has soldiered for a long time. "I think-- hrm.. hold on."

Poe places a hand to his ear and looks to Kasia apologetically. Leaning a little closer to Kasia, he speaks back into the comm-link. Only Kasia might catch wind of what he's saying.

Kryll recoils slightly, and looks to Saanvi. "It is alright, I have been called many things. I hope you have a good evening and enjoy yourself, or find something more comfortable to wear." he offers her a smile before turning to Jax. "Finn? I have heard of the name but do not know if I am like him, as I have not met him." he pauses, taking a breath. "My family kept me very isolated, so I do not know if that makes me similar to the Finn you reference."

Ambrosia mumbles some more into link, pacing in a slow, tiny circle with a little hip sway of someone idling on a long convo. Finger still aloft. Jax and Kryll both get a nod about 'Finn', though, and four other fingers join that one to offer the mortified Saanvi a 'wave'.

Kasia's brows jump curiously, but she's been around military types enough to understand what's happening as Poe leans closer. She leans in similiarly, because come on it's Poe, to hear what's being said because she's curious, and third because it helps to look as though they're just whispering to one another rather than this being any sort of comm-chatter. Her drink is delivered and she takes a sip of it while listening curiously.

Saanvi hesitates at Kryll's recoil and her lips press and she discloses, "Neither seem likely in current circumstances." She watches Amber then JAx, then looks slowly about the room. Not bothering to explain why after excusing herself she doesn't depart she remains standing beside Kryll, looking keenly embarrassed and generally uncomfortable as someone can be without some manner of injury or malady.

"Damn it." Poe says, confounded a bit. Quick to anger, it shows in his eyes as he turns to look outward over the small crowd that has joined the events on the ship. A heavy breath is drawn in as he works through his own mental exercise to keep from making a scene. After spying Ambrosia, Poe turns back to Kasia and his expression of consternation fade a bit. Rather than give voice to it, he makes a face as if asking if she wants to be involved too. There was still a sizeable bounty out on the ace pilot afterall, and being seen in Poe's company, even on a friendly world, could be damning.

Jax watches Amber storm off after declearing them HRD. " Forgive her, her childhood was probably similar to yours and she had a dear friend that was a HRD. If I'm understanding right. Nothing to be ashamed of, your childhood was just different than mine. I will give Sesti your well wishs. Take care and thank you for donating. I'm sorry." He looks to Kryll, "I think your getting your meeting."

Somewhere, there's a Helix fighter cargo bay comes open and smoke comes bellowing out. Then a R2 unit comes speeding out. THen turns back and calls out, 'BElate, You functioning? We got ot go find a new pilots chair before Jax notices"

Kasia seems to grasp well enough what Poe is asking without needing it to be said outright. The hand not holding her drink gestures in a 'why not' sort of way, and without waiting for an offer she slides her arm around Poe's again. She smiles up at the General, and then eclipses said smile behind the rim of her wineglass, taking a sip of the boozy beverage before turning to move wherever Poe may lead.

Kryll nods to Jax. "Oh, good. It was beginning to get frustrating, the General seems very good at avoiding people he does not wish to see." he senses Saanvi still behind him and nods to Six. "Saanvi, it is alright, I need to have a personal conversation. I will find you later and let you know how it goes." he offers her a smile. "It is important to me."

Saanvi offers softly to Jax "No apology is necessary. The failure to conform properly is adequate reason for commentary or ridicule. Without rebuke what incentive would their be to conform?" BB-6A "beep" (BB-Series 10148) rolls over to Saanvi's leg and bumps into her slightly. "too beep *cackle* too boop *cackle*. boop too ee *cackle* beep beep click."

Well, she received no other communications. That was a good sign, right? And no one was trying to skewer her and that was even better. Soon enough, Nerys was deep in conversation with one of the Zabrak who had come for their performance. No need for the translator, mostly, only for those concepts which did not quite translate from one language to the other, and even those were stored in the droid's memory for her to work out later.

Saanvi says, "BVery well, MR. Kryll. Please DO exercise prudence." Saanvi excuses herself for real now, making herway towards the exit, smoothing her hands down her front as she makes a bee line for the nearest exit.

Ambrosia gets off her link and throws back the rest of the wine. A sucking of teeth, straightening of sash - er, wait. Gah, this stupid...the sash comes off and she fixes the lil shoulder cape instead, then winds the sash around arm instead. "Right, well," she returns to not-droid Kryll with a tight-lipped smile and nod. "Where were we? Something about a soul?"

He nods quietly, and leads on. <<"We're on our way, General.">> Is the confirmation Amber is waiting on, most likely, and Poe is true to his word. From the crowd, the most wanted pilot in the galaxy emerges with an intoxicating and beautiful woman (Kasia) latched to his arm. "I'm to understand that someone was looking for me?" Poe says, putting on an amiable expression, essentially switching 'masks' at the drop of a pin.

Saanvi pauses and looks down. The sash. She swallows, draws in a deep breath and quickly blinks moisture from her eyes before she lifts the sash off, neatly folds her, and turns to scan for where it ought to be returned.

Kryll looks back to Ambrosia, "Hello again. Yes, I had mentioned that a woman I encountered told me that I have a beige soul, that I was very similar to the droid that I was with. When you asked if I was a droid, I wondered if others saw me that way."

Halfway through her plate of ribs, Sesti looks around for her husband once more, and when she spots him, she takes her plate to the entry table and checks the tally so far. Giving a broad smile and a nod, she leaves the plate there for them to finish and walks across the hangar to come up beside her husband and silently thread her arm through his.

Kasia strolls alongside Poe, offering Amber and Kryll a smile as they approach the pair. She doesn't say anything yet, but instead just goes quiet and looks around between all those gathered, brows rising curiously.

"Beige is probably better'n black?" A shrug from the graying soldier as she offers this poor attempt at consolation to Kryll. Ambrosia turns and offers Sesti an incline of her chin and partial smile. "Sesti...I enjoyed the show. Almost too much." A small wink and pat to her sidepiece on hip. "Your hold full yet?" Her eyes uplift a touch more to meet those of the inbound Poe and Kasia.

Chin goes back down. "General, I see you've acquired a lovely escort for the evening..." she pivots a few degrees to angle a gesturing hand at Kryll. "If you've time to spare, I believe he could be entertained by some war stories."

Saanvi finds no place to return the sash so simply holds the neatly folded ribbon and waits to see what other guests do with theirs-wholly unwilling to make any more mistakes this evening she patiently waits.

Jax watches people go. He shoots Sesti a look. It was the space parent look or more specifically got to make sure his Space Mom (Not Kasia) doesn't blow everything up. He then offers Sesti an easy going smile. It was poorly rated compared to Poes but what smile wasn't. Then he wonders up to the small group. He nods, "Kasia, Poe. Good to see you two."

The 'HE' in this interaction is Kryll. Kryll earns Poe's gaze, dark brown eyes that settle on the man for now. "War stories? I could manage a few. What story in particular are you looking to hear?" Poe's tone is generally friendly, and there's no deviation from that at this point. For all intents and purposes, Poe gives off a genuine air of sincerity. The only time his gaze falters is when Jax addresses him by name. "Jax, it's good to see you, buddy." He reaches out to pat the Corellian on the arm, then returns his focus to Kryll.

Kryll smiles at Kasia when he sees her, bowing his head slightly. He turns to regard Dameron as one general introduces him to another. "Hello General Dameron. I was hoping to have a second attempt at the conversation I had hoped to have with you some time ago." he seems about to start the conversation, but realizes there are several people looking at him, a lot of them Greystorms. "I had not intended this to be so public a conversation. Would you be willing to speak privately with me? I give you my word that I would not keep you from your social partner for long." he gestures to Kasia.

At Jax's look, Sesti turns and gives a look of her own. The dancers from earlier are wandering among the crowd, answering questions of some of the guests and showing their ceremonial, yet still sharp, blades. The one that was at the front of the V, a purple haired one, turns and meets her eyes. Neither of them seem to give any gesture, but then Sesti turns back and gives a smile to Amber. "I thought you would enjoy the Kal'Vyshde," she winks.

"Sesti, this is a lovely party," Kasia says by way of greeting to the hostess, smiling at her. Jax also gets a smile. "Good to see you too." Amber gets a similiarly warm smile in greeting, but then her focus shifts to Poe as Kryll replies, brows creeping steadily upward with an spoken question.

"Good to see you too, Poe." He looks back to Sesti, then to Kryll and Poe, "I feel like I should remind you two tonights a social event to raise charity for the unfortuante in the galaxy. The wife would be awefully disapointed if it ends in violence. I would ask you two remain civil. I know Poe, and he's a good sort and civil when needed. Mr. Kryll, I'm still getting to know you. I ask you respect our home like we'd respect yours. I don't want to have to escort folks out."

"Kinda rings a bell," Ambrosia sidenods to Sesti with a briefly good-humored twinkle in her eye. Dancing blades...

She remains hovering where she is, unless Poe consents for a lil tete'a'tete with the hunter. Her sash-wrapped arm goes up questioningly to the Zabrak. "You can take my name outta the pool, for the record. Might be unseemly, should a relative win the pot, no?" As if she really cares about social protocol. A slow smile forms to hear Jax step up as preemptive referee but she avoids looking at either of the involved parties directly.

"It /is/ a lovely affair."

Saanvi watches from afar, not able to hear what's being said but seeing Kryll has become the life of the party. She runs her thumbs along the satin of the sash and looks around before setting it gently on the tray of a server who tries to offer her a drink.

As the Zabrak delegation moved into the hangar, Nerys stepped back in herself. First, talking did make one parched, and second, there was more food to sample. Also, the current state of possible emergency in regards to what was surely //not// going on further down the landing pad. Oh! Meat on sticks!

Poe gently separates from the lovely Mrs. Kasia and raises surrendering hands toward Jax, subsequent to Kryll's request. "You insult me. Since when do I make a scene?" THAT was a long list of scenes, actually. "Here.. a measure of good faith." Poe unfastens his blue sash and gently pulls it free, taking the time to fold it and offers it to Jax. "I hope my modest donation helps. Thank you.. /both/ of you.." Indicated the Representative Sesti Greystorm as well, "for this lovely party. I'll escort myself out so as to assuage this gentleman (Kryll)."

Finally he regards Kasia and smiles. "You were wonderful and stunning tonight, Kasia. Perhaps we can talk afterward. My presence..well, it never goes unnoticed." He smiles and subtly shakes his head no. "Let's go talk, pal." He indicates then to Kryll, turning slightly to look his way before walking out on his own cognizance, swagger and underlying sense of urgency present in his walk; typical Poe Dameron.

Kryll looks over to Jax for a moment before he follows Dameron, pointing to the sash. "Are these decorations not permitted outside? I will take care of mine and bring it right back if that is the case." he turns to Poe and nods, making his way to follow. "What kind of scenes do they feel you make?"

"The kind people don't walk away from." Poe replies, heading outside the hangar and out of view.

Sesti nods to Amber. "I will be drawing soon enough. We are almost full, if your name comes up I'll choose another." There's a smile for Kryll. "You may keep the sash, but must be present to win the prize if you desire it." Turning to Kasia, she nods and smiles a little more warmly. "It is good to see you, Kasia. I am sorry that Hex could not join us."

"Come find me when you're done," Kasia suggests to Poe, reaching out to give his upper arm a quick pat before he turns to make his way off. As he does, she turns to face the others, brows rising. "Well this is going to be interesting. I know he's been wanting to talk to Poe for a while. I suppose if we hear blaster fire we know he was making a go at the bounty. I know a few people who would probably try it." Her smile warms as she looks over to Sesti. "It's probably for the best, there were swords, he'd be playing with the swords right now," she jokes.

<<Don't wander too far...>> Ambrosia cautions into comlink as the pair take their leave of present company, watching Poe's disappearing six like a hawk. <<Old gals can only run so fast.>>

A bit of a downplay of her abilities maybe, but the point's been made. One hint of foul intentions at work and she's more than eager to pull the trigger. Call it maternal instinct or bloodlust, either fits her sentiment most days of the week.

Nerys picked up two glasses of whatever it was that was closest to hand, as she made her way over towards where she could see Jax. It was good to be tall. Jax, not Nerys. Her face was grave, no longer needing to put on her friendly scientist face on, "Sesti, General, apologies, we haven't been introduced, Nerys Arda," and then she continued, "I'm assuming one or the other of you can lock down the landing pad so that he can't try to flee the planet?"

Saanvi remembers that her ride is here and there is no where to go and so she follows the advice she was given by one of those she arrived with. Find a quiet spot out of the way and watch. She picks a vacant spot along the parimeter of the hold and stands there, watching albeit with a small frown as KRyll disappears from view. She forgets to watch the crowd as she becomes absorbed by her own thoughs and her gaze drops down to the grating of the cargo hold between her feet.

"You two sure you don't want to go find a private table over there. I can have bottles delivered till you two work this out with words, it out or you both pass out. There really isn't a need to handle this outside, either." Kriff, who taught Jax things could be worked out with words? Certinly not Amber. He though accepts the sash from Poe and Kryll.

With her party companion successfully stolen by another man, Kasia's gaze sweeps around to those not in the immediate vicinity, settling eventually on Saanvi. "Who is that?" she asks, head tilting back ever so slightly to do a subtle chin-point in the doctor's direction. "I feel like I've met her before, but that happens to me a lot since I see about five hundred faces a day any day I spend in the Blue Light." She doesn't wait for an answer, and instead lifts a hand to wave at Saanvi, making a universal 'join us' gesture toward where she and the others stand.

"He'll be fine." Ambrosia grunts quietly and offers Nerys a little nod 'hello'. "If anyone's safety need be worried over, it's for the idiot who attempts to collect that bounty." Insert toothy smile here. But, just in case...the old bird goes on the move, ambling slowly in the direction of where the two younger fellows vanished.

The dancers seem to be casually wending their way towards the door of the hangar, after another look between the purple haired leader and Sesti. Then she follows the direction that Kasia indicates, and draws her brows together. "She is a doctor, I believe. She came with some medical supplies with the... " she gives an exhale as she tries to remember. "I just remember her listing off medical supplies in one of the donations earlier."

"I think I need to go and wake a man up just in case." Nerys passed off the two glasses, if anyone was taking, if not, she simply set them aside. "I'm not saying he might enjoy this, but he will probably enjoy this. I'll let you know when Belate finally wanders home." Probably covered in smoke and slightly charred.

Saanvi looks up and catches KAsia waving at her. Alarmed she looks behind her, then either side of her. After an awkward moment of quiet panic she clasps her hands infront of her and paces forward towards Kasia before softly inquiring politely, "Ah. Good evening, miss. Can I help you with something?"

"There's a New Republic Fleet up there. If it comes to that, he won't get far. I've also fought side side with Poe. He can handle himself in a fighe.' Then when Amber leaves. "She'll make sure it doesn't end badly. " Jax looks to Sesti and smiles.

A zabrak materializes at Sesti's elbow, and they exchange brief words in Iridonian, before Sesti turns back to the others. "If you will excuse me, please, I have Host duties to perform. You can stay," she adds to Jax, giving him a little grin, then turns back to the group. "Although, I think I will take me leave, Kasia, it was wonderful to see you again. After I fulfill my duties, I believe I will have another snack and check on Senin before I have a rest." She leans towards Jax's cheek with intent to leave a quick kiss there, and walks back towards the ramp of the Kal'Ayure.

"Need something? No," Kasia assures Saanvi as she turns to face the younger woman. "I just saw you standing there alone and was reminded of the times when I would be at parties or events and not know anyone. So," a pause lasts just long enough for a sip of wine. "I understand that you're a doctor? Are you the one I've heard about that works with Kryll?" She shoots an amused look in Jax's direction. "I honestly don't think that he would be fool enough to try and take him on this world, but I've seen people try more foolish things than that."

Sesti gets another warm smile. "It was lovely to see you again too. Thank you so much for all of your hard work on the party, you did a fantastic job."

Saanvi's slate gaze turns slightly cautious, gaze sweeping the reassurances and the exclusion of Kryll from her view before she turns, "Volunteer. He purchased a shopfront and clinic above on Nar Shaddaa and I assisted him on seeing it properly equipped and I see patients there as needed. How is it you know Mr. KRyll? I see that you are acquainted with General Poe as well. It seems your social circle is quite expansive."

Jax kisses Sesti on the cheek. "Take care." He frowns and looks around, "I think I heard something about my droid burning down my ship." He smiles at Kasia, "Tell Hex I said hi. We need to get the boys together for a play meet." He ment Boon and Senin. He looks to Saani, "Kasia knows people. Visit with her."

"I'll tell him," Kasia assures Jax, smiling, then turns her focus back to Saanvi. "I do know a lot of people, yes. I've been lucky in my life to be afforded a chance to travel a lot, meet interesting people. It helps that my husband is a very social creature as well, if not exactly one that likes to move in high society." Another sip of wine, and then the nearly empty glass is passed off to someone that's working the party. "I know Kryll from the bar that my husband and I own on Nar Shaddaa, he's a frequent patron there so we've had the chance to chat a few times."

When Sesti reaches the ramp, she consults for a moment with the zabrak, then nods. She takes a deep breath, and then steps forward as all the aids working with the intake pause and lift bells which they ring energetically. "Thank you, friends, from far and near," Sesti begins, using a droid to send her voice out to the entire building. "The donations have been tallied, and we are pleased to announce that we have reached the goal of 30 tons to fill the hold of the Kal'Ayure, and then some. We sincerely appreciate the donations that have been made, as both the medical supplies and food will be needed to assist those who are in dire need at this time, and will be in the future." She moves down to the five boxes on the table and looks around. "I will now draw the names for the door prizes we have here. Please come to the front if your name is called." Reaching in to the colored boxes, she begins calling the names, the woman with the durasteel fingers does indeed come up to collect her prize among the others that are called out.

Saanvi ahhs politely, "I suppose alcohol is not called a social lubrication without anecdotal evidence, I imagine selling libation for credit makes your establishment quite popular." She fidgets briefly and offers a polite, apologetic smile, "It is nice to meet you, Miss. Ah. Mrs." She points towards the exit, "I should excuse myself before I embarrass myself further. An error in judgement left me lingering here after my companions had excused themselves."

"Ashkuri," Kasia supplies the last name to go with the mrs, but inclines her head at Saanvi afterward. "You haven't embarrassed yourself at all, but don't let me keep you if you want to be on your way. I hope you have a good night." She steps back and then turns to listen to Sesti, and once that announcement is made, she turns to move for the exit as well.

Saanvi oh's and flushes "Dr. Saanvi Cerulean. General Greystorm had asked if I was a droid and I am beginning to suspect Mr. Kryll must have said or done something to offend General Dameron. I do not believe there is benefit to socializing over minimizing social interaction."

Kryll slowly makes his way back into the ship, Six rolling alongside him again. He takes a moment to ensure that the sash is well kept, and still in place. He spots Saanvi and makes his way over to her, offering her a smile. "Thank you. I think that went well. But with my inexperience, I could also have offended the leader of an army. I am hoping for the prior however."

Kasia pauses as the introduction is made, smiling. "Kasia Ashkuri," she adds to the name as she gestures to herself. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Doctor Cerulean. And don't worry about the General, she's very blunt and has a sharp tongue, but you get used to it after a while." She smiles again. "But I'll let you go back to your companion. As I said before, I hope that you have a good evening." She nods to Kryll as he makes his way back in, then turns to go make her way off the ship.

Saanvi offers a wave of farewell, "Lovely to meet you, Mrs. Ashkuri." She stifles a soft sigh and also turns to go though Kryll gets a wry smile "I do hope you got what you had hoped to find here." on her way also towards the exit.

Kryll makes a face. "It appears that answers are more elusive than just asking the question. However, speaking to the General was very helpful." he looks about as Kasia departs, "It looks like this evening's activities are winding down. Want to go get some noodles? I am hungry."

Saanvi seems surprised by the invitation and it's enough to draw a small smile from her, "Certainly. I would like that. Let's go acquire some noodles."

Kryll nods and leads the way, Six turning to follow. "Let us stop so you can find something more comfortable. You must be struggling to walk comfortably in that footwear. Change first, then noodles."

Saanvi gives Kryll a profoundly grateful look. Would that the woman knew what to do with such profound gratitude.
