[ Maeti Distayre (Maeti)]

Chandrila, new hub of the Republic governance. Also home of several of those who might know whom or what a new ship design might be from.

Last we left our intrepid adventurers, they had received the scans from the oddest of places. A call for assistance from a Mandalorian? Hints of a secret base, possibly something more.

[Nerys Greystorm (Nerys)]

"Belate, you did tell GiGi not to stun our guests, yes?" Nerys, who had set up shop in the command deck of the Tempest Warden, had left instructions for the pair of expert who were being brought in to be escorted onto the marauder corvette when they arrived. She had commandeered an entire bank of computers, but,as the ship was not currently underway, there was likely to be no trouble for the team. But the more computing power they could bring to the project the better.

When said guests arrived, they would be escorted into Hangar One at the main Hanna City starport and brought up to the command deck. They would not, in point of fact, find themselves stunned by the rather eccentric police ball droid who hovered around the place. "Bity, you have the system online?" The ID10 droid, who was prepped and ready for work, swiveled her head around, the maglocks holding her fancy feathered cap on her head. Don't ask. All the Greystorm droids were odd.

[Asalla (Asalla)]

Your escort is a Bb-droid with ideas above his station." Greystorm droids are odd, which means Asalla's droid is one of them as it was a gift from a Greystorm. The tan-skinned Tarisian walks through the hangar alongside an R2 unit whom she refers to as: "C4. Try to keep up, we have a mission." The droid warbles something back at her as they approach the ship in question, the Lorrdian dressed in a flight suit and ready for some kind of operation. "No, we probably won't be shot at this time. Probably." The two are led on board Tempest Warden by the quirky police bot and the woman's jaw drops a bit in awe. "Goodnness this is a big ship.." The R2 rolls alongside her echoing a similar tone in awe of its own. It's clear this pair love starships.

[Tovana (TV)]

Tovana probably looked more than a little out of place wandering through that ship in her green flightsuit, helmet tucked away in a small bag for the moment. It didn't fit her properly anyway. She was following alongside Asalla, escorted by that droid and giving it a wary look every now and then. Her own R3 unit was wheeling along behind them. "I've been in bigger," Tovana comments to Asalla with a small grin on her lips. "Still, pretty nice ship."

[Kael Greystorm (Kent)]

Kael Greystorm stretches a bit as he walks out of a room off to the back of the bridge looking around as Belate leads the specialists up to the bridge of the ship, "She's a pretty decent sized ship however there are almost always bigger fish out there. But she suits my needs." Glancing over at Nerys he offers a bit of a smile, "Where did you get all those computers?"

[ Maeti Distayre (Maeti)]

Maeti is hardly one to be left out as she is kinda the one to have put out the call for assistance. Blackened plates of her armor doing their best to absorb as much of the light shining on them as possible, at least until she turns off the field as she reaches up to release the seals on her helmet upon entering the bridge behind everyone else. A thick braind tumbling down to thunk solidly against her back plate as she stashes the helmet at the small of her back. "Ahh.. Good. You have access to more computational power than I could wrangle." The reason for her arrival shown in a data crystal she holds up to the light. "Fresh scans, if you htink you need them. Also a possible vector from where they were coming from if our own computers were right."

[Nerys Greystorm (Nerys)]

"Is that //really// a question you want an answer to, Kael?" Trust. It was not always a good idea to ask Nerys how she happened upon the things she managed to happen upon. Space Tomb Raider gonna space tomb raid. At least care had been taken to ensure that the additional computer banks had been properly fitted into the ship's existing systems. "Thank you, Alor Distayre." Nerys, however, did not take the datachit. Instead, she nodded herself towards Asalla as she and Tovana made their way into the computer center. It had been years, since Nerys had worked alongside the Array, but it might be that her face was familiar to both women, and not just one of them, "We have the best navigator in the sector agreeing to work with us, so, hopefully we'll get the answers you're looking for. This is Goran and Alno Valdr-Asalla." As she knew Tovana less well, she allowed her to introduce herself, though she did offer, "Welcome to the Warden. Thank you both for coming."

[Asalla (Asalla)]

"I think you probably have," Asalla laughs beside Tovana as the pair step in to the flight deck. The Lorrdian dips her head to each person gathered, though a brow rises with a sense of impression. "Not everybody takes the time to memorize a Lorrdian name. I'm flattered! Hello again, Ms. Nerys," she smiles across clear-glossed lips, then to Kael as well. "I see you survived the mushroom soda unscathed," she smirks. "This is my friend Tovana," she says with a gesture to the Twi'lek beside her. "She's a greater pilot than I'll ever be, and the two of us are happy to help however we can." The astromech at her side interject with a rude tone, which draws a roll of the eyes from Asalla. "And R2-C4, of course, whom you may recognize from a mission some time back."

[Tovana (TV)]

Tovana smiles and gives a small wave to the group gathered in greeting. "My name's Tovana, like she said. I'm also her mechanic, which is my main area of expertise really." She looks around at all the computers gathered in the room. "This must be some really complicated navigational work you're doing here," she notes, then glances toward Maeti's data crystal curiously.

[Kael Greystorm (Kent)]

Kael Greystorm hmmms, "Maybe it's best I don't know. Also I'm not sure what kind of navigational work is needed but it's why we're looking for some of the best right?" He crosses from the quarters in the back deeper into the bridge of the ship, "So we've new data to look over on top of the old data?"

[ Maeti Distayre (Maeti)]

Maeti quirks a brow up at the two new people involved. She inclines her head slightly to the pair as she offers the crystal to Nerys. "Well, someone planned ahead. As for the navigational computations. It's a bit above my skill levels. My specialties are in other areas." She waits for a moment, then offers. "I am Maeti Distayre, Alor of Clan Distayre. Most often a trader, though can that ever be fully true of my folk?" she asks with a small grin. "I do not know if you were informed. But we are hunting a ship that seems to skip along the scanners fields. Sometimes seen, to vanish and reappear elsewhere." She glances over to Kael and Nerys and shrugs. "This is not something that needs to be hidden. It is thought that it may be one of the fleet that one of my ancestors was charged to hide away."

[Nerys Greystorm (Nerys)]

"It's good to meet you, Tovana, and to see you again, C4." She offered a dip of her head to Asalla, "I make an extra effort when the people are worth remembering." Nerys stepped forward, accepting the data crystal from Maeti, as introductions were offered all around, heading to the central terminal to input the crystal and bring up the information they had for analysis. Bitty, lifting a hand to ensure that her hat had not been nudged out of perfect alignment on her head, hovered over to do some heavy looking on. "A few ticks to process and we should be able to get started."

[Asalla (Asalla)]

"What kind of process are we talking about?" Asalla inquires as she steps close to the computer consoles, spending a few moments to get acquainted with them. It's all vaguely familiar to her, even if it's the first time she sees it, but navigation systems all have a degree of similarity to them, even if some are designed with more features than others. "I'm good with numbers, but sector sweeping is new to me," she adds, reaching a hand out to test a configuration on the main navigational array, nodding as she understands what she's reading. "I'm just here to run numbers," she smiles.

[Tovana (TV)]

"So we're tracking down some kind of stealth ship by the sound of things?" Tovana muses, folding her arms in front of her. "And we need to pin down its whereabouts somehow." The twi'lek looks toward the computers again and nods thoughtfully as Nerys inputs the data crystal. "So, what will you be needing us to do anyway?" she asks. "Asalla is definitely the right girl for the job where navigational computations are concerned, that's for sure." She lets out a light giggle.

[ Maeti Distayre (Maeti)]

Maeti nods slightly as she finds a place to settle out of the way as she admitted to being out of her depth. Helmet shifted to rest on her knee as she taps a few commands into her forearm comp. "Nerys, I just opened a data link on sub-channel three to the Ranov's tactical and navi networks, if you need to link them in. I'll let the experts crack at things."

Nerys has what was it, 12 different sensor scans showing the paths of the raiders. The new data crystal holds another four. So which problem are we seeking to crack first? Break down the fading? Backtrack the flight paths?"

[Nerys Greystorm (Nerys)]

Nerys, once the computers were up and running, moved to one of the terminals, the information she was working on being shunted to the central display, "Let's see if we can start narrowing down possible points of transit. The Outer Rim is hardly the best mapped, but at least in the area we're working, we have a decent map of places traders and travelers have made use of." Nerys began two lists. First, the most travelled planets, moons, and other features, and then the ones less travelled. "Either they're hiding in plain sight, which I doubt, or they're moving outside of normal traffic to keep a low profile."

[Asalla (Asalla)]

"Moving outside the established hyperlanes is my specialty," Asalla advises as she takes a seat and pours over the data. "Where's the last place you caught the signal at, and which trajectory did it take on its entry jump?" She cants her head, reaching a hand forward to pull up the records of the previous scans to try and see if she can pull that up herself. "There's a lot of semi-well known 'alternate routes' so to speak, but if they have someone like a specialist they can find their own, like I could." She winks. "I could get you from Taris to Nar Shaddaa outside any travel lane, it shouldn't be hard to do that kind of work in reverse. Just need a little data."

[Tovana (TV)]

Tovana stands back and watches Nerys and Asalla work. She nods thoughtfully as she listens to the two explaining their findings. "So this ship's moving on some uncharted hyperspace route then," she muses aloud, trying to summarize for herself what the two girls were saying. She furrows her brow a bit in thought. "That sounds like it'd make them annoying to pin down that's for sure."

[ Maeti Distayre (Maeti)]

As the parameters are entered and the computers start shewing their way through the numbers of the scans. Stars whirl in a holo field as Galactic coordinates are aligned into a more cohesive whole. The back-tracked paths all seem to leading off away from the main trade routes. Each scan appears onto the holo field as staggered lines leading back into the Ettarue Arm. A rather twisted section of the Otter Rim

[Nerys Greystorm (Nerys)]

"Alor Distayre, can you key me into the Ranov's systems? Her sensor maps are far better updated than the Warden's. We haven't taken her out to the Outer Rim in...far longer than I like to admit." What was an explore who was not spending most of her time down the plug hole at the end of the galaxy? Nerys Greystorm, apparently. "Ettarue Arm...That's a tough sell. Even I haven't been out that way." Which ame access to flight, mission and navigation logs all the more necessary.

[ Maeti Distayre (Maeti)]

Maeti nods as she enters in the command authorisations to banks in the Ranov. "Done. Want me to link in the tactical banks too?" She cants her head to watch the growing clarity of the holo display. Nodding again silently as if it's showing her something she knew already.

[Asalla (Asalla)]

The Lorrdian's eyes narrow in concentration at the readouts on her screen as she tries to take it all in. "I'm good with the Outer Rim, particularly around Taris.." she trails off as she studies some of the incoming information. "I'm getting some data from Ranov on the sub-link. It's got a triangulation system going that's picking up a blip which is pulsing off and on -mostly off-," she taps a finger to her navigation console, "which matches with what I have here. I don't have a vector, yet. I need more data first."

[Tovana (TV)]

"So, we've got a general location then?" Tovana asks, looking between the two again. "Maybe if we moved our operation there, we might be able to pick something up?" Tovana suggests with a small shrug. "Or at least start heading in that direction while Nerys and Asalla work with the data we have."

[Nerys Greystorm (Nerys)]

Nerys, processing the information as the reports came in from Maeti's ship, continued to separate the useful planets from the potentially less useful ones. But she trusted Asalla to make the final decision, "If you would. If we're going to be heading that way ourselves, we should have the ship's prepped and ready for whatever they might encounter." She frowned, more to herself than anything else, "I might have to see if I can borrow the blastboat." She offered a grin to Asalla, "You'll enjoy flying in that one, C4."

[ Maeti Distayre (Maeti)]

Wrapping around Isde Naha, there are a few sightings close together. Then layered scans slowly stacking up as sections are cut away to reduce the strain on the computer systems. A new signal pinging from the sub-net lighting up a sensor hit out by Hoth.

[Asalla (Asalla)]

"The blast boat?" The Tarisian quirks a brow as she picks up a reading. "Hmm, this is too far to be Eriadu.. could be Bespin.." Asalla's musing to herself, though R2-C4 turns its head-dome toward her as though double-checking the information as she provides it. "I think I've got something near Hoth," she intones more loudly. "Could be Bespin, but I'm sure it's Hoth. It's parallel to some of the nebulas in that area."

[ Maeti Distayre (Maeti)]

Maeti tapes a few more commands into the comp. Her voice softly murmuring to someone on the other ends of her comms. She glances up and blinks, "Sorry was retasking one of the scouts back towards the Hoth area to help feed us more information." She shrugs, "Just some old fighters that are running a grid pattern currently." She gestures towards the displays. "And I think she meant she has access to a Blastboat. Something I would not even try to take on in something as well armed as this capital ship as they were designed to hunt capitals ships."

[Nerys Greystorm (Nerys)]

"If we're going to end up hunting this thing in real time, I'd prefer something quick and nimble...and well armed. If this thing is hiding for a reason, it's not likely to be happy if we end up tracking it down." Now that Asalla's calculations were coming in, Nerys turned to the task of extrapolating the best ships possible to match the mystery ship's potential syblight speeds. "And we might have better luckw tih more than one ship sweeping multiple routes."

[Asalla (Asalla)]

As Nerys prepares the ship for stellar travel, Asalla continues running her numbers at her terminal, fingers gliding as she inputs series of triangulation points to narrow down the search zone. Her eyes narrow as she finds something. "There's a place between a nebula custer," she intones, setting the destination in and forwarding it to the hyperdrive. "It's off the charted hyper routes, won't take us through a star and will help us avoid being tracked. You're going to need to fly," she says with a smirk, "though I have confidence that you will."

[Nerys Greystorm (Nerys)]

As Nerys highlighted the route through the Granita Cluster, she frowned, "I'm a good pilot, but that's...tough. I may need to see what I need to do to bribe Jax into deciding to come along with us for the ride." Nerys was not above bribery, no she was not. //She// was no Jedi. She was, however, confident in Asalla's work. "The other two possibilities are the Kiax Nebula or the Ivax Nebula. And those are definitely Jax territory.
