Clan Kora and their allies arrive on Rishi to take down the faux mandalore. Revenge and justice in one fell swoop. The finale of False Deities.

OOC Date: August 17, 2020
Location: Rishi
Participants: Clan Kora, Mandalorians, Karys as GM, Sumi Kora, Hadrix Kora, Rathe Versiano, Sar Yavok, Kirioth Kora, Avery Ihala Kora, Aja

Karys

Rishi, not exactly a core planet and the Rim certainly rears its head here. After Kora's suffering a rather drastic blow a weak ago they recovered and had time to pull all their information on their intended target. The Mandalore that is not mandalore had taken up residence in an older building in Rishi, pushing his way in and now? Now its time to knock back and take him down after months of searching for his central location. Rishi's air traffic is teeming with movement but as the heavy drop ship pulls into view more than a few if not all air speeders move out of the way. That should probably not be here.

On approach the mandalorians for more than Kora has arrived take their time to get situated and man door guns as well as prepare for their circling strafe of the tiered buidling that they are about to blow themselves a window into.

With Hadrix at the wheel, Karys is amongst those waiting to jump as she checks her guns and reloads them. The sound of the dropship coming in close the buildings begins to echo and it relies on Hadrix just how well their bombs and strafing run will go to give them the opening they need. But a wide courtyard seems the best entrance into the compound and already there are figures motioning to them from below.

Karys adjusts her HUD and steps up to the side of the door, pressing her back to the frame of the dropship so she can follow the others out.

[Avery] Avery stands near the wide open dropship door, gazing at the quickly approaching building through the visor of his new Skyripper armor. Taking advantage of the moments before attack he stretches in his suit, even going to far as doing jumping jacks, ensuring that the armor has been custom fit to his specifications. With a wide grin that can be heard in his voice, the former Stormtrooper gives those around him a curt nod and states, <<"This should be a piece of cake. Preferably a piece that doesn't contain poison.">> With a light chuckle his attention turns to the Sorosuub Tracker in his hand, hefting the carbine and giving the ammo count a once over before he's satisfied. Avery sucks in a breath, gently thumbing the button that would extend his wings come time to leap through the open bay door into space.

Seeing the ship drop closer to the ground than he expected, Avery shifts the carbine blaster to a ready position and kneels down at the yawning exit into the world. One of Rathe's shots wounds a goon below and the slicer decides to sight in on that baddie and bring him down to the ground. A quick nod inclined toward Rathe and Avery lifts the carbine to bare on another target, trigger squeeze, bolt loosed, and another goon drops.

[Hadrix Kora] Twisting the ship into a full aileron through the clearing traffic, Hadrix quietly thanked Evie for hours of hounding him on how to fly a ship... Especially after that day Drath had slammed the ship through the wall of the target location. The day they'd met Karys. The irony slamming home like a blaster pack into the receiver slot.

Flattening into a terrain follow maneuver to get the craft close enough for munitions drops,

<<"Al'verde, Aliit. You may begin your bombing run. Tight angle sweep incoming, will be making a thirty degree pitch increase for deployment. Be ready.">> the big man's rumble coming as he makes to weave through return fire. No good to an assault if they get shot down.

[Sar Yavok] Sitting up front with Hadrix is Sar Yavok, manning the forward weapons. Lazers are lazing all over the gaff, thank to him. Sliding around a touch in his chair as Hadrix gets all fancy, Sar will cut a look to the man, but remain silent, aside from a grunt. Scanners are checked once again and another stream of plasma barks away.

[Sumi Kora] Sumi Kora is tethered to one of the door guns, her harness keeping her in place because she lacked magnetic boots. Taking a wide stance, the century old soldier grips the minigun by its back plate, initiating its idle spooling, a mechanical whine that's lost to the looming sounds of rushing humid air and the roar of engines.

Interfacing her internal HUD with the targeting of the minigun's LIDAR tracking, Sumi pressed the trigger down and held it as the ship entered its 'pave low'. No one needed to see Sumi's face to know the Mando'ade was grinning. Shaded in a hue of ruby red from the rapid firing of the stationary minigun, Sumi screams with enthusiasm despite her voice being lost to the noise of her weapon's discharge.

The laser bolts impact in quick, devastating succession pocking up dirt, debris, everything it touches. By the conclusion of the pass, Sumi's responsible for the death of four warriors who would not know who killed them despite Sumi's laughing scream from the vessel.

<"REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! HAHAAAAAHAHAHA!">

[Rathe Versiano] No words. Silence. Head and helmet bowed. Rathe was in the door, and kneeling. He'd finished checking his gear long ago on the way to the planet. He's chosen a spot to the left as they circle in, his Dreadfinder can take a hit if needbe, his shoulder can be a weapons brace too. Once he senses the pitch coming he pops up into a squat so he can lock his boots down magnetically. He's used to Hadrix running them into hot LZ's. So at the titling, he's snugging the Tracker into his shoulder. His first shot catches one of the goons without issue, though it is a wounding shot. In the process of trying to track the barrel along to a new target he overcompensates on a head shot only scaring the hell out of the goon. No sound from the former Vanguard, his helmet doesn't even move. Not this time. He's going to enjoy his last War before Exile.

[Kirioth Kora] Roth's taller frame is there on the gunship and there's the usual quietness that follows the Arkanian into the pre-battle, she checks her weapons, giving a look up towards the cockpit where Hadrix and Sar are and there's a moment given to stare at the none Kora that she has a fondness for. Then she goes back to waiting to get the hell off the ship and down to where she can actually hit things.

[Aja] While the fixed guns are firing and Sumi's battlecry can be heard from the ground, Aja dips towards the front and glances to Hadrix as she pilfers one of the frag grenades with a, "I'll replace this after." Then she's away, moving through the ship carefully and approaching the open door. She grips a handrail and flashes a grin to Sumi, "First time I've lobbed from this high up, lets see what happens!" Pressing the button to activate the grenade, she scans the ground troops and tosses the frag....

Too bad she forgot to account for speed of the ship and things like windshear. The bomb manages to blow a hole in the side of the compound but misses the troops completely.

Watching the trail of smoke, she lets out a laugh, "Well, not what I'd hoped but hey! Second entry point!"

[Karys] Considering their numbers compared to those that showed up to lay waste to Ealor, the goons of the faux mandalore are scrambling and fast. Laser fire from above from both rifles and turrets mix with the fall of an explosive. That they can see and more than a few die out of the way as they are thrown into Sar's firing range. Between he and Sumi they lay waste and Hadrix key points and flying give them a decided advantage as the trackers of both Avery and Rathe buy them more space to jump. The Droid beside Hadrix is ready and slides in with a whir to take over the landing and bring it about when called. They will need to make their exit at some point but whether all of them come back or not is another thing entirely.

The building smokes near the corner by the entrance and the roof has caved in just a little from Aja's explosive that may not have claimed lives but given them a way in without breaking down a door. Three are still a fair amount in the walled courtyard not to mention a few in the sniper towers outside already taking pot shots at the ship that is now manned by the droid.

As they come back around there is a moment where Karys' breath is held and then she is stepping out and just...falling. She nears the top of the first level and her gliders deploy, snagging her in the air as she whips about and pulls free her pistols as she goes for a sniper tower, aiming right for one of the three. Before she lands from her glide on the walled tower she guns down her man and clunks heavily next to his smoking body as she turns and takes a shot at one of the goons running for the access stairs and injures him.

[Avery] Following Karys' lead, Avery takes a couple of steps toward the door and jumps. He's always amazed at the silence that comes when one is falling through the air. He spends a heartbeat musing on the thought before he thumbs the button that extends his glider and tilts his body to head into the action. Many targets pop up on his HUD and he locates one of the snipers who are just beginning to raise their weapons to threaten his crew. Up comes the blaster and out flies a burning red bolt which strikes one of the remaining two snipers, sending him hurtling back over the side of the building and plummeting to the ground below. Avery quickly draws down on the second sniper and looses a bolt, this one striking the lone gunman solidly, but not quite enough. He turns his attention to landing, that being the more important part of flying, and aims for a spot nearby his squad mate. A few seconds later and Avery is running to a stop, <<"See! Easy as pie!">> The slicer squats down to assess the situation before making his next move. <<"I think I should have eaten before we left... I think food is on my mind.">>

[Hadrix Kora] Standing with a nod to the droid and a return grunt to Yavok as he goes, Hadrix looms in the black and gold of the recently crafted warmaster suit. Looming back to Aja, murmuring, <"I want those back when we're done."> though there's a grin in his voice as the Massive Mandalorian slips up alongside Rathe.

<<"Rathe, disengage mag-boots, MARK."> the last barked out to draw immediate reaction just as Hadrix's right arm goes around Rathe and without pre-amble he's lifting the man even as he pole-axes forward out of the drop bay while the ship angles upwards.

No assurances to hold tight, be ready, or otherwise. Hadrix just flips, left arm snapping out to put a bolt into the scope of the last remaining sniper as he engages jets. Cape blowing out around to arrest the pairs fall.

<"OYA MANDO'ADE! SKIRA'KORA! KYR'AMUR'AN!"> Bellowing as they land, releasing Rathe and lifting up his hook bladed battle sword. <"RAM'OR!">

[Sar Yavok] <<Remind me to teach you how to fly, Hadrix,>> Sar says, grunting and standing up after he stows the gun controls. His gunbelt is grabbed from the back of his chair and whipped around his waist where it's secured quickly and easily.

Marching back towards the open maw, Sar rolls his shoulders and gives Roth a pre-game smack on the behind, as is his way. Then he's standing at the door and looking down. A deep breath is taken and he turns around before allowing himself to just sorta fall out of the door.

Plummeting towards the ground, the man's yellow shoulder cape whips around violently, and he very much looks like he's just gonna let this be the end of him until his S-5 is produced and aimed at the underbelly of the transport. The trigger is squeezed and a liquid cable dart rockets out, finding purchase and jerking itself taut. Sar is now on his way down. Much slower, this time.

[Sumi Kora] Sumi untethers from her gun, leaving the orange hot spooling barrel to steam and hang limp. She laughs with Aja, taking hold of the cargo net above to stay up right, bouncing from the hot pockets of air. <"I like the back door!"> Sumi says up close, her tone in humor as the reflective silver of her T-visor shows the black smoking entrance Aja had opened up. Casting her cape to favor one side, Sumi revealed a smaller jetpack and activated it. <"Going my way, Aja?!"> She offers an arm to latch onto the feline Mando'ade to carry her down.

The trip is short, and they come to a slow hover before Sumi cuts the propulsion and absorbs the shock with bent knees, casting up a cloud of dust in all directions from both she and Aja.

<"Now our enemies taste their own blood! TO BATTLE!!">

The scream of a sword is drawn from a scabbered oriented upside down on her back; its blade was produced from her side and drawn up in a high guard as she charged through the dust to engage the goons responsible for sacking her home.

The first is closed with, and as they raised their pistol to fire, she cut their arm clean through, twisting with a rustling cape to drive the point of her blade through their throat and out the back of their neck with a sudden thrust that prompted a brief mist of blood. Sumi kicked her opponent off the end of her sword, then leaped to another, sliding and slashing with the enthusiasm of a bloodthirsty killer. <"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!"> Her blade cuts through the weakpoint of armor, the swing concluding when blood is slung haphazardly to the ground by the momentum and gravity of her swing. <"Come now, child! You meet your end here!">

[Rathe Versiano] Karys flies forth, Avery follows. Rathe's helmet shakes from side to side slowly. He's just not ready yet for such- Hadrix's barked order just results in instinctual obedience. Then his brain kicks in as he feels KLOMP KLOMP and is hoisted. Nothing transmitted, but there is muffled sounds from inside the helmet and a moment of shifting. Rathe stops and focuses, his eyes already tracking his next target as he is trying to ignore the man with the terrible Rocketpack trackrecord is the one carrying him down. His own weathered swordsman cape, a new addition to his newly redone armor also flaps about crazily

No time to think, as soon as Hadrix release him, he falls the last bit. Landing he drops to one knee to strike his target true. A second target lights up on his HUD and.. click. <<"Misfire!">> He calls out the warning to the others as he slaps at the pack and rips it free to fling off behind the advancing Kora in case of critical failure, another fresh blaster pack is slapped into place. <<"Reloaded. Advancing.">>

[Kirioth Kora] <<Save all that for after the fight, sweetheart.>> Roth muses after Sar gives her a smack on the armored rear. No one could see the smile on her face, but, it was in the vocoded voice. She then takes a step off the ship and follows others down. <<If anyone needs grabbed just let me know.>> she states. Her first swing goes wide as she's hitting the ground, but the second and third swings sing through the air, hitting their targets and she charges on, waiting to see what the rest were going to bring.

[Aja] Tucking away the grenades and pulling the helmet down and forward the latch under the chin, Aja draws her sword and curls in neatly at Sumi's side. <"Thought you'd never ask!> The entire ride down is filled with the wild, joyful laughter of someone having the time of their life. She's even still laughing when they touchdown and that blade is brought to bear. Sadly, it may be the laughter that does her in.

Aja advances on one of the goons and tries to go low, ducking under arm height and trying to bring the blade upward, but she manages to miss the man entirely. The half-pirouette and backhand swing fares no better. <"Damn! I need to drink more before jumping out of ships!">

[Karys] Its murder in the courtyard presently as all three snipers are downed, creating far less death for the mandalorians. Eight of the goons stand strong and return fire as many of their number are cut down by blade and blaster alike, armored dead bodies strewn about and smoking. The air traffic of Rishi fills the void of sound overhead and several of the number flee back into the building - using the opening that Aja's misplaced explosie tore into the building beside the door that leaves one hanging from a single point of contact. One starts to head for a sniper tower, possibly to get away, possibly not but he meets Karys on his way up as she is gliding on her way down. A single bullet to the face sends him tumbling as her boots touch down and one shot goes wide of the resilient eight that remain in the courtard, and her third clips one in the side, wounding him.

She heads for the others, gliders folding back into the suit as her HUD lights up with the new numbers.

[Avery] As Avery leans up to peer over the side, he exposes himself to blaster fire and takes a bolt solidly in the chest. With a grunt the slicer falls back, withdrawing from the edge of the roof while he assesses the damage. <"Nnnn.... decent hit but I'm alright."> he declares to the departing Karys. He leans forward again, parting the smoke swirling off of his armor from the attack, and raises his Tracker to gun down the offender that struck him. Following Karys' move once more, albeit with a few more groans at the injury in his chest, Avery leaps off the building and extends his glider for the second time. The black and blue armor clad man runs to a stop near his comrades in the courtyard and turns to level his carbine at one of the fleeing enemies. The wound in his chest and the sudden change of perspective throw him off and the shot flies wide, knocking some additional rubble from the massive hole Aja created.

[Hadrix Kora] <"Copy, Rathe. On my five, advancing."> Hadrix's attention shifts across the battlefield as he stalks forward, blade spun to check balance. Assessing the troops positioning, building, and the incoming fire a plan begins to form just as he lurches forward and ducking beneath one shot only to be taken in the center of his chest as he rises. Paint bubbles and peels away, metal glows - save for the center of his chest. A heart of beskar worked into the core of the cuirass - and being the saving grace for the man.

He charges forward in a blur of black and gold, cape billowing out behind with a wounded man trying to lift a gun suddenly cut down by a slash that takes his arm.

The next, the one to fire on him, finds his reflection in the T-visor of the approaching Mandalorian before three feet of vibrating durasteel goes through his gut and he's lifted up, glowered at through armor, and cast aside in a gore filled arc when the blade nearly bisects him in the process.

<"Advancing...">

[Sar Yavok] Boots clunking down on the ground, Sar detaches his cable and gives his helmet a few slaps, the old wiring on his newly-acquired armor giving him some trouble. His HUD flickers back to life and he begins moving forward, his pistol barking away as it sends plasma down-range. Three of the goons are dropped with brand new smoldering holes in their heads. The Old Man keeps on trucking, trying to catch up with everybody else and really missing his jetpack right about now.

[Sumi Kora] Sumi stays close to her battle buddy, Aja. The courtyard skirmish seems well in hand thanks to the combined might of the Mandalorians. Sumi observes three warriors taken out with military precision and traces the source back to Sar. <"Nice shooting, old man."> Sumi posts her sword in a dead body to keep it readily available and pulls out a glimmering boomer ball. Watching the final two retreat, she calls out. <"HEY! HOLD THIS!"> She hurls the boomer and they turn in time to see the membrane of Naboo's core matter break, coating them in the painfully electric substance the ruins their armor and claims their life. Sumi shakes her hand out, chuckling and drawing the sword free from the body to follow those who have fled into the structure.

<"There's more willing to die inside! Let's help them along!"> Sumi jiggy-jogs forward, because this century old smoker doesn't run unless she's gotta.

[Rathe Versiano] Motion, immediately he is in motion. This is a man who thinks this is his last war. So when he feels the blaster burn through his chestplate he grunts but continues on. Others knock down each target, Rathe retargets without complaint each and every time. With the four heading for the 'safety' of inside. Rathe picks up his pace, no one is bad enough to worry about. That will change, he needs to satisfy his War Addictiong here and now. <<"Four fleeing, five in here, and our primary prey is here too. Sending HUD updates.">> His tracker shifts as he slides to a stop choosing a corner for cover to fire. First target down, the second hurting. <<"One down. One Wounded.">>

[Kirioth Kora] Roth takes a hit, but, unlike most days, she doesn't fall over into a bloody mess. There is an annoyed grunt, but, she keeps going. Though, Sar gets her attention with his lack of jet pack this fight. <<Need a ride, old man?>> she asks as she gets the rockets going. Sar gets one either way, maybe he can shoot on the incoming. <<Is this suit heavier than your other one?>> she teases him over the comms as she settles him down on the ground and then her own feet touch the dirt. <

[Aja] Its HIM. Her HUD picks up that most favored enemy as soon as she and Sumi approach the hole. She glances between Haggard and the goons, minute twitches of her helm as she goes back and forth. But the joy of battle and the promise of his blood is just too sweet a call. Grabbing Sumi brief by the shoulder, she baps her helm against the Alor's and calls out, "Mirshmure'cya for jate'shya!" One could swear she winks from behind the mirroed visor before she turns and disappears through the hole.

Landing lightly, Aja uses the chaos to race past the goons, blade drawn and sparking lightly as she races towards Haggard, bringing the blade up at the last second to slice deep across the man's side and up his chest. <"Ib'tuur jatne tuur ash'ad kyr'amur.">

[Karys] It is slaughter in the truest sense for as the group wades in it all ends with more downed bodies, blooded blades and smoking corpses. Sumi's boomer ball is a shock to the system for all even those fleeing who look back to see it take out the last two goons in the courtyard that stood before the opening. Blue energy sizzles and leaves an opening for those not engaged. Sweeping in Aja, Rathe and, Kirioth and Sar in her care land and get a look at the antechamber they blew a hole into. Its massive with four goons up on a raised balcony shooting down into the group but it shocks them when they see Aja running forward and landing her attack that some do not fire right away, they stare at the crazed mandalorians. REAL mandalorians.

They don't run but they are indecisive as a few return fire including Jaremy as he hits Sar and Haggard, shocked misses Aja. Already their numbers are being cut down and at the end the rest walk through and as Karys steps over the rubble with crunches of her boots beneath her she ejects her powercell to her S-5 and slams in a new one with a click as starts to walk with a purpose.

[Hadrix Kora] Wading is the correct term of it - he lacks augmented reality systems - just his basic hud, basic systems. A classic design hand forged in old styles, he forgets to bite the vox toggle to engage his externals and so the invectives he hurls are for his ears alone. Muffled by metal and the din of battle as Hadrix of Kora unleashes himself.

Advancing to within close quarters still with a rifle butt slamming across his shoulder and a pistol bolt curving along the cuisse of his left thigh, blazing a hole through the cape and sending it riffling wildly behind him, fire retardant materials failing to ignite.

The first sees the curve blade tip before it bursts their eye and erupts out the back, hyper-sonic blade cleaving through bone as he passes through and slashes another across the chest, cleaving armor like cheese.

<"Statuses..."> rumbled as he puts a boot on the stomach of his current, ready to pull and stab again.

[Sar Yavok] <<Ain't it just?>> Sar answers back to Sumi, smirking beneath his helmet. He's about to continue singing his own praises, but instead vocalizes a loud 'OOF' as Roth smacks into him and carries him off. <<Yeah, it's heavier. That's the point. Last set was barely there, felt like,>> Sar explains as he's sat down.

A bolt flies in and dings the hell out of Yavok's arm, tearing off a chunk of his armored plating and cutting a deep groove into the flesh below. <<MOOF MILKIN' SON OF A SHRAK LOVER,>> he barks, wheeling backward before he manages to steady himself. <<Just got this armor!>> he calls out, standing up straighter and firing back at the man, two of his bolts missing, but one of them just about tearing the poor guy's leg off,

[Sumi Kora] CLANK!

A Keldabe kiss for luck!

Aja does not depart without a subsequent clank of a flat edge of a sword smacking her rear armor plate; she is also not alone in her endeavor. Using the chaos for cover, the pair of Mando'ade have entered the fray with Haggard, using the unfair advantage of two. Aja has stolen his attention, leaving Sumi to approach from the BACKDOOR! Just as she foretold! A sliding strike brings Haggard to his knees, and the final blow is a soldier's death; Sumi jams her sword through the back of his neck, pushing it through the front. When she withdraws the blood length, Haggard is left on his knees, bleeding out his final moments of life.

Sumi turns then on whoever is in proximity, which happens to be Jaremy. He seemed focused on taking aim at another in battle, so when Sumi cleaved his neck with a heavy overhead strike, he cried out in surprise. Not only had he taken a hit from Sumi, Sar retaliated with a devastating shot that took his leg.

Sumi let gravity carry him to his back and left him to choke there on the ground, kicking his blaster from his grasp so he died with nothing in his hands. <"Die as you lived."> She issued, crouching over him. <"In the shadow of those better. Hahaha!"> She straightens up then, her gear making a soft ticking noise of tension. Her gaze seeks her battle buddy, and it's in that direction she walks, sword still in hand.

[Rathe Versiano] Roth moves in to human blender the one he wounded. Rathe keeps the Tracker out to cover her, and it's too far. There is a muffled cursing from under the helmet as he gets a solid blaster burn deep into his right arm. He can feel it numb some nerves and light others aflame. Sar has his own issues to contend with. Then Aja goes blowing by him, he grunts into the comms. <<"I think Aja found Haggard.">> He just assumed it and then the blade comes up. <<"That would be affirmative.">> He tucks himself back around the corner considering the arm, the shot to his chest. His helmet shakes, it's his last hurrah, his mind just won't let it go. Indeed the group finds themselves facing real Mandalorians. They kicked the Kora Nest, and crystalized all their resolve. Terrible tactic.

He hears Hadrix check for status' reports. Can't get yelled at to get out of the fight for being injured if you don't report being injured. Mental Temple Tap Tap.

A loud barking in his comms, and Sar has taught Rathe a new series of cursing to bear in mind for the future. Sumi is in his visor suddenly as a human blender coming to help Aja with her favored enemy, there is a blinking as she whirls and then Jeramy dies rapidly. Between Aja and Sumi being the dynamic duo, and Karys walking in with a Purpose. Rathe comments idly to himself <<"I can't get any harder real-KRIFF!">> Too many distractions and a wound, its a mistake in his long career he has made only a few times. Forgetting he had an open mic. So when he pops out of cover to fire twice, between the ladies, the com snafu, and the injury... his miss likely surprises noone.

[Kirioth Kora] Roth chuckles, "Nevermind, handsome." she tells Sar as her joke falls flat. And it was a horrible one to start with. Him getting shot makes her turn back for a moment, her anger rising. They apparently had things under control though, so, she doesn't fret too much and there was a Doctor with them. Or Rathe was getting close. <<Roth is fine.>> she calls back to Hadrix on the comms. Then she starts to swing in earnest again, killing one and continuing on the clearing mission.

[Aja] Moving nimbly, on to Haggard's tricks, Aja moves neatly out of the way of the heavy swing leveled her way. Her tail flicks and lashes, almost taunting the man with the curling shapes and sharp movements. The sword is brought up... and then Sumi's sword is slicing along the backs of his knees, and driving through the back of the neck. Instead of being mad, she laughs! The laughter doubles as Jeramy is the next to go down, the blood of both splattering her armor as she turns.

A wounded scoundrel trying to slip past gets neatly cut down by the flashing blade while the rest are running for the safety of the 'main event'. Flicking her tail like one might flick a blade to clear it of blood, Aja is very clearly enjoying herself. Looking quickly towards the shot fired between herself and Sumi, she calls back, <"We can still chase them down, vod! No need to to be upset yet!"> Then Sumi's approaching and Aja slips an arm around her waist for a quick, one-armed hug. <"My hero! Shall we?"> The blade points in the direction of the fleeing goons.

[Karys] The antechamber is soon painted with the blood and bodies of their foes and the group is quickly making it very apparent why one does not just take up a position in the galaxy that directly is counter to the mandalorians. For even though they fall they rise again and with a greater purpose and vengeance. Haggard falls first, stunned at his ending and denying it all the same as he bleeds out. "Can not be!" He gasps out but soon his eyes glaze lifeless as he tips forward to the ground and Jaremy is moments behind him. The younger man was about to laugh at Sar and his new armor when he meets his end.

Damage has not been spared for the mandalorians and it eats away at their immedaite and effective responses in some cases but still as they advance, more of the henchmen fall back. Four. This leaves one brave enough to shoot back at Hadrix who is large, making a good target. And also a bad mistake at the same time.

This gives the cleared room a chance for focusing on one target before the massive archway leads into a room beyond and there sits a figure. Karys lifts her pistol and though he is further away she clips him good and he staggers as he tries to turn and run. Just one more to roll over on their way through. The gunslinger looks to Rathe and nods her head in a silent acknowledgement as the group begins their way forwards and into the last room.

[Hadrix Kora] Body twisting to let the blast slip past him Hadrix's advance continues with intent to put an end to this false mandalore. A liquid growl pouring through his externals as his blade is deflected on rapid swipes aimed to move past armor rondels at the joint of the arm and another aimed for the face of the man's helmet.

Each battered away or dodged while Hadrix begins to call out, <"Encircle, I am the spearhead! Take their flanks and open fire, I am alright!"> fury bleeding into his voice, a snarling beast champing at the bit.

[Sar Yavok] Limping forward once more into the fray, the injured Sar makes his way to a chunk of duracrete and moves to duck down behind it, groaning and reaching up to prod at the exposed tissue and hissing softly. <<Rathe!>> he calls out. <<I'd do it myself, but I'll be damned it if don't hurt like night in the Zeltros flesh wall,>> he explains, colofully.

[Sumi Kora] <"/Tome/!"> Sumi replies in the accented tongue of Mando'a before following after the battle kitty Aja! When more foes present themselves, Sumi takes a few slow steps, sliding to a halt for a moment and producing yet another Boomer! Pointing her blade to account for 'aim', she angled it up, grunted, and rekking /hurled/ the boomer ball across the distance, connecting with Balor's torso with a brilliant blue splash of Naboo's core matter. He hadn't even the time to scream. He hit the deck, and did not move save for what the electricity jolted from his nerves. Sumi giggles.

Bringing her blade back up, Sumi tails Aja, adjusting to the tactics Hadrix calls over their encrypted net. <<"Heard!">> She growls back, and jumps into the fight to be with Aja!

[Rathe Versiano] His helmet returns the nod Karys gives and he watches her go. After a moment of consideration to his arm, he slips away the Tracker. Advancing from cover to cover now is Rathe's primary mission. His brain kicked in just how back that hit he took was. The flurry of misses confirms it, and he is on the way as Sar requests him. Grateful in all the chaos that noone was questioning his comm discipline. <<"On you.... now. Drop back. Outstanding.">> Rathe has blindly pulled out what he needs with his right hand from the Pedpac bolted to his right thigh. He opens just his vox for Sar. <"Quick sting, and then relief."> Sar gets a hard medical stabbing, and Rathe scans with his left hand. <"Ok. That's the best we can do until we crack you out of that armor."> Rathe slaps Sar's shoulder twice and advances once more. He's pushed away his inner lament, thoughts of the Academy, he answers his other calling in case their luck does not hold. <<"Anyone else need a medic?">> He's not counting himself at this point.

[Kirioth Kora] Roth's trying to focus on cutting the number of enemies. With a vibroblade. It works though and she's trying not to give a look over her shoulder to see if Rathe and Sar are alright, they'd be fine. She gives a laugh when the big glowing ball gets rolled out and then it explodes, "Those things look fun." she murmurs to herself. Gotta get one.

[Aja] Aja runs into the room, calling out a quick <<"Heard!">> for the tactics called out across coms. THen Sumi's drawing up next to her and lobbing another of those Big Boomer Balls into the room. Tracking it, she chuckles when it hits and looks back to Sumi. <"You have to tell me where you get those, they look fun!"> Then she turns and stabs out at the wounded man taking aim at the pair, her sword driving straight through into the man's chest to drop him down.

<"Rude."> He interrupted GIRL TALK. Yes, about bombs. But Girl Talk, nonetheless! Flicking her sword, Aja moves to join the fight against the false Mandalorians.

[Karys] The room itself is a show of power. There are trophies of other leaders and animals around the room and hordes of goods that lay strewn about. Credits in chests and other forms of armor. Its a catchall and very obvious they moved here not long ago. What a waste, how horrible their fortifications. Maybe that is why they were ill prepared. Balor roars at Hadrix, nearly his equal and is turning to connect with the big man when Sumi's boomer comes to bear. It slams into him and he is jolted about his own jetpack sudden hisses and fizzles and he flies across the room and slams into the wall. The twitch of his body does not end as he slumps unmoving, still smoking.

Mandalore returns the attack but misses Hadrix. It feels like the group is becoming a cohesive unit now for every attack misses them and slowly the numbers are whittled down. Body after body added to the count as the one to blame for the injuries, dead and false claims is before them within reach. Snipers take aim and miss as does the one goon with enough nerve. They are losing. They know it.

Karys steps to the side, strafing as she goes to aim down her pistol and gets off shots. Two nearly slam into him but the other is wide and she hisses through her teeth as she advances to close the distance.

[Hadrix Kora] <"Hettir haran, chakaar."> Hadrix snarls as the others move in, opening himself for other attacks by making a risky maneuver. The blade of his vibrosword is pushed into the stomach of the man claiming to be Mand'alor, insulting the people. Confusing others.

The Massive Mandalorian goes until the crossbar stops his progress, helmet to helmet with the other as he turns the pretender towards the others, further exposing his own back. No risk, no reward. Though he expect to be at the mercy of the hand that made this armor next they're seen, unless he comes out of this alright.

[Sar Yavok] <> Sar grumbles back to Rathe, continuing his trend of wanting to be the smartest guy in the room (and rarely ever succeeding). He pushes himself back up to his feet and groans as he steps over a puddle of who knows what.

<<Listen, you jumped up lil sumbitch. I don't know you, I don't know what you done, I don't even know why I'm here helpin, but,>> Sar fires and it goes wide. His second shot domes the 'Mandalore', sparks raining down off of the impact to his helmet and sending it flying off of his head. <<But one of your folks shot the hell out of me, and I just can't abide that,>> Sar fires again, straight through the guys mouth, the bolt exploding out of the back of his head.

[Sumi Kora] <"I found them in.."> Sumi is nearly hit, and retaliates by cutting a man's arm, then plunging her sword into their neck. She pivots, sliding the body off the length of her blade to fall in a clatter. <"..the most unlikely place! The Twi'lick strip club!"> Sumi cuts another fleeing warrior across the back and kicks them into a stumble. <"No kink-shame.. but I found a better use for them! HA!"> A juvenile twirl of her sword and Sumi stalks forward to finish what she started. Sumi stays near her battle buddy.

The S-5 lowers and Sar reaches up to clutch at his arm with another hiss.

[Rathe Versiano] Distractions all around Rathe, but he's under control this time, even as he too makes his way forward to see what the fuss ahead is. Large Mammals duking it out... There is a bob of his helmet and the Tracker is shifted. Let the higher ups and uninjured deal with that headache, Rathe just goes for some goons. Life is simple when you're a Murder Medic. Especially when Sar grouses at him, Rathe actually splits a grin behind his visor. Sar was clearly back in the fight after his little autoinjector cocktail. He likely will not be around for the mans hangover. The muzzle twitches twice in rapid succession as Rathe adjusts his aim the half-moment after he depresses the firing stud. He's downed a wounded, and wounded another not bad considering how much his arm keeps alternating hurting like hellfire and going numb.

[Kirioth Kora] Roth leaves the last goon to those on the ground and decides that the snipers might become an issue in the near future. She rockets up and then comes down quickly, too quickly as she swipes at the sniper and tries to hit, but it catches on the ground and she messes up the shot for the guy at least.

[Aja] Laughing, Aja looks to Sumi, <"No drek? The strip club? Okay, well, now I know where to go more often!"> The mention of a better use has her letting out a low chuckle before the shots of the snipers have her turning towards the 'nests'. <"Be right back.. keep a spot warm for me!"> Turning, the Farghul stalks off towards one of the nests.

Here is where her prowess truly shows... and that prehensile tail comes into play. Digging her claws in and scaling up the side of the platform, her tail holds the vibrosword carefully. Up she climbs, like a skittering spider...cat. SPIDERCAT! Does whatever a spidercat does!

At the very last moment, her head pops up over the edge to peer at the sniper. <"BOO!"> Then she strikes, the tail coming up like a scorpion to dart in, slashing quick and clean across the shoulder to keep him from taking aim. She lets out a titter of laughter and ducks back down to prepare the killing blow... or to hop down if someone beats her to it!

[Karys] The concerted efforts within what is effectively the throne room of the false mandalore in armor made to look like beskar is faced with that which he impersonates. Hadrix with the first deadly hit takes it out of him with the price of blood. Sar's bolts however connect twice over and the figure stumbles towards Hadrix. The man is not small but as his own gun drops to the ground with a clatter he slams right into the second of Clan Kora and with his dying breaths through the helmets vocoder he hisses out. <"There is nothing special about mandalorians..they are just like the rest of us. The outcasts with fire in their blood..."> He cough laughs, his voice breaking as she grips at Hadrix with a fading strength. <"No better than the rest...."> his words falter and what life was left leaves him and he sags up against Hadrix.

Those left see their lives are forfeit and the last goon slips away as the others are cut and gunned down, the mandalorians reaping that which others have sewn. It proves once more why they are called what they are despite the dead man's words. They carry no weight here now.

After those misses, Karys thirsts fore redemption and she sweeps her gun up and a bolt slams solidly into the figure that Roth is on, slamming him into the wall and makes him prone as he tries to drag himself away. The goon just passing by her catches her eye and with a flick of her wrist she brings the barrel about and shoots him in the back so he goes skidding across the floor to a stop - motionless. The last receives an attempt but its too much in too quick of a time span and the bolt slams into the wall above Aja and him. It is then that she steps up beside The others near the fallen mandalore as the two ladies finish off their targets.

[Hadrix Kora] Looking down at the dead pretender, Hadrix's derision is palatable as he watches the light go out, throwing the body face down to make three very precise cuts before he kneels. Foot on the corpse's rump and fingers of his gauntlets dig into meat with a squelching wet snap before he stands.

Fist clamped around bone while his foot keeps the corpse down with a base zipping rip of what little tissue still held to the spine after the vibroblade sweep. Skin stretching and then popping with a last snapping sound as Hadrix rises to full height and turns to hold out the swinging, grisly, trophy out towards Sumi.

<"Parjai, Alor'Sumi. Kote. Darasuum'Kote."> like everyone else. No better than the rest.

Hardly.

They're still standing.

[Sar Yavok] <<Somethin' like that,>> is all Sar has to offer back to the dying 'Mandalore's words, clicking the S-5's safety back on and sliding it back into his holster. It's clipped into place and Sar turns to watch all of the fleeing goons. It's not his way to kill a retreating enemy. Not anymore, at least. With a hand, he'll reach up and tug at his cuirass, setting it back into position and tugging one of the straps tighter. His battle concluded, he'll turn and begin making his way back outside.

[Sumi Kora] Sumi watches as Aja makes her climb. With nothing more to kill down below, Sumi makes a casual show of wiping her blade clean upon one of the dead. She's not privvy to the last words of the pretender, but her attention is drawn to the trophy Hadrix has taken from their body. Sumi's head dips in a nod.

<"Eternal glory,"> She replies back with a salute over her heart. <<"Take what treasures matter to you, Mando'ade. Burn the rest to the ground.">> Sumi takes the time to slide her weapon back into its scabbard, then she's on her way out.

[Rathe Versiano] Making his rounds, Rathe makes with the easy treatments. It is a nice thing, he won't have to skip sleep all night, noone is critical. Not even Sar and his arm at this point. He's done good, and he was able to keep killing. Even better. This is a lot to take in for Rathe, especially with a sudden realization. It feels fitting for him to an extent. He came in to Kora at the start of dealing with this particular scum, and now it is over just before his Exile begins. His helmet is plucked off after he taps at his left gauntlet to release it. Nursing his own wound he hangs the helmet off the hilt of the Vibrosword that juts up by his left thigh, home in its sheath bolted to the outside of of his calf armor. He plucks out a pack of very battered cigarillos. A pause. A deliberate turning away from Hadrix to light one of the misshapen things, just to hunker down with his back to a wall for a moment, Tracker across his thighs. To smoke and enjoy that fresh battlefield afterglow. He'll set about looting later. He just wants to remember this feeling.

[Kirioth Kora] Roth's exceedingly quiet as things are finished up and she takes a minute to stop and take a breath before she turns and starts to head back. She doesn't seem to dwell on the killing, it's the way of most mercenaries and for her since she was young. She finds her way down to Sar, <<You going to live?>> she asks him as she leans in to bump her helm against his gently. Then she's looking off to see where the rest of the Kora's are.

[Aja] Tail whirling, the vibrosword lashes out once more, that cauterizing edge slicing clean through to the spine and leaving the sniper to topple from his nest with head separating from body as he THUDS ontot he floor. Snickering, Aja leaps off the pillar and hits the ground at a roll, popping back up to her feet to claim the vibrosword from her tail, flicking it off and sheathing it in a single smooth motion. Trotting back towards the hallway, there's a moment of meaty sounds and a brief, sickening putt of flesh separating, a loud SNAP! and then silence. WHen Aja reappears, she holds a bloody heart in one hand. Likely culled from poor Haggard out there. Never knew what hit him, poor bastard.
