<<"LAAAAAAAAAAADIES ANNNNNNNNNND GENTLEBEINGS!!">>

The crowd erupts with cheers as everyone in the arena standsdd, easily several thousand, are on their feet. Thundering bass and explosions herald the blooming fireworks high above the stadium as music plays some hype arena games tune, and a massive holo advertisement screen hovers for all to see.

<<"You saw them last week when they CRRRRRUSSSSSSHED the HEATSEEKERS, NOW WE SEE THEM IN ROUND TWO: ROTWORMS! THEY WILL GO AGAINST OUR FOREST DWELLING HUNTERS, THE HUNTER ELITEEZZZ! BUT FIRST, A WORD FROM OUR SPONSORS..">>

Meanwhile...

Sumi Kora is in the gladiator pits where the ROTWORMS ready room has been prepared, and they are shut off from the rest of the stadium's lower network. The room is large, made of stone, with ample lights, and lockers intended for weapon storage. A single IRON GATE separates them from the ramp that leads into the arena proper. The noise of the crowd, thundering bass, and all the ambience that came from fighting before an audience filtered in for all to hear.

Sumi wears a Mandalorian gladiator garb, with a protective leather covering for her top that segued to a lower portion comprised of a leather flappy skirt. Shin guards are strapped to her legs, protecting them all the way up to her knees while her feet were strapped into light gladiator sandals. Her armor had spiked pauldrons, and a Mando style helm that had a T-shaped visor without the actual visor. She held her helm under her arm and used her other hand to lean against the threshold of the massive iron gate doorway.

"Everyone ready?" She sounded anxious and excited. This was an emotion that rarely surfaced for the century old soldier unless she knew there was about to be violence.

"Really thought that I'd have been able to squeeze a quick nap in." A voice gripes from one corner, from someone's bag. A single paw extends from it, giving an unenthusiastic thumbs up. "But gods abound th'/noise/." Slowly, reluctantly, Mujiji hauls herself from the confines of the bag, brushing off her (teeny, tiny, fitted) armor and double checking the bandolier of explosives across her chest, and the vibrodagger at her hip... On her, it could very well be a sword. Despite her dulcet tones, the kushiban is smiling. "Let's dust these leafy fragmongers."

That introduction to ceremonies should be updated. He is neither a lady, nor a gentlebeing. But then when he takes a moment to think about it. They're not talking to him. Hadrix's head is down, this time a thick barreled repeated cannon held in a low ready position. Like Sumi he is in leather and durasteel plates, the vitals protected with rondels at the arm pits, a helmet directly from the Mandalore Rage Lands jammed over his head, with leather skirting, greaves and sandals.

But 'es real' spikey - sharpened metal rods jutting out at joints and small shoulder pads, another line of them running down the centerline of the helmet rather than where one might expect a hair mohawk

Fresh out of medical, now walking with a permanent swagger telling tales of pelvic injuries hunch shouldered, slouched even. Sumi's call for readiness met with a grunt more beast than man while Hadrix's lips begin to move in mantra and his breaths harder as old mnemonics and conditioning begin making his body dump all manner of feel good chemicals to positively reinforce the growing rage and adrenaline starting to flow.

This time Jynx is ready in some slick fitted body armor, helmet off so she can see better for the moment. Well lit is helpful! Dark Hapan eyes!. Her auburn hair is braided down her back and she is shifting back and forth upon her feet. Nervous energy as she suddenly hops in place and then runs, trying to stay limber as she rolls her shoulders and head. A smile curls her lips, "As ready as one can be," she remarks, looking to Yan who has appeared this time.

Before they are let out she is quickly pulling the helmet down, just the visor and top half as it settles into place. It allows her lips to be seen and for her to breathe easier. She pulls the throwing stars from her belt and smooths her fingers over them. Nervous exhale follows as she tries to tug at a jacket that is not there - its got a hole in it anyhow.

"Oh, ready as I'll ever be," remarks a gunslinger in a slow and easy way from a darkened corner, face lit only by the cherry of the tabac stick that he's smoking on. Who let him in here? Why is he so cool!?

The man plucks the cigarette from his mouth and lifts his boot so he can snuff it out against the bottom before the butt gets tucked behind his ear, almost lost in that sea of messy brown hair. His coat is folded back on one side to reveal the enormous slugthrower on his hip. A big iron, if you will.

King tips his wide-brimmed hat back a little bit and stands up straight, moving to join the rest of the folks at the gate, hand resting easily on the grip of his gun.

Ears swivel forwards at the announcement, and the roaring crowd, which makes his ears flatten down and back a little. The Togorian Bounty Huter checks on his armor. Often there is a glance towards one of the group in particular, yet he has no urges to act upon. This is neither the time nor the place, they need numbers to suceed to obtain a fair higher prize and better payout. Dhr'rall checks the straps and buckles to his armor one last time. A tap, and the semi-clear blue-tinted visor drops down and the HUD activates. A pause, and a nodding as its not on the fritz again this time.

Dhr'rall shifts from foot to foot before he begins pacing behind the group, eager for another challenge... ideally not an Acklay this time. His heavily modifed blaster rifle is already in his hands, the ammo counter eyeballed quickly. Another nod of satisfaction at the display as his his large clawed paws relax their grip upon the weapon. A look towards Sumi in her gladiator gear and a firm slow nod of his massive head to show he is ready. His next Gladatorial Mandalorian he looks to is Aja, and a firm nod to the fellow Bounty Hunter. The rest just get quick once overs for now, there is a job that needs doing. His left claws come up, and fasten the filter across his muzzle attacking it to the helmet and visor with a firm click.

"Rotworms," was the helpful and highly necessary input from none other than Zhu 'Fifty Large' Yan, his Fauxrellian accent buzzing due to the face-concealing helmet he wore. "Really?" This was a set of CAS Heavy Power Armour, formerly painted like some horrible Togrutan predator, now plain grey because he didn't have enough time to take it back to Rheisa to have it re-done. It added an inch to Yan's impressively short frame, and did a great job of hiding the dadbod. He looked more assault droid than human. In his hand was a gun so large yo mama might be seen wielding it, the sawn-off shape of a Bryar rifle that had been modified so that charge shot = only shot. It might kill tanks.

"You guys look like you're dressed up for a toga party. Is this actually a toga party? Am I overdressed?" Yes, Yan, you're overdressed you walking tank you. "Even this guy!" He pointed at the looming booming spikey figure of Hadrix Kora. "He's taken so many hits to the head," he was audibly grinning like a loon since one couldn't see it on his face, "that he's forgotten everything other than 'ME HADRIX, FITE KRUSH KILL'!"

Testing the fit of the pauldron on the gladiator armor, then pulling the helm down to cover her face witht eh T-visor looking towards Sumi, Aja lifts her sword, "Oya!!" The flat of the blade is thumpd against the leather bustier of the female gladiator armor and she nods to Dhr'rall, "Least kills buys a round at the bar after?" There's the impression of a grin, even if hidden behind the helm.

Sajin unsheathes the massive ryyk blade from his back just behind the jetpack but over his black and yellow cape. He was in his powerarmor this time, fitted specificaly for his frame and body. A tougher meaner look than last time. <<"It's not such a bad name...">> He assides to Ej and Yan. He remains mostly quiet though.

His R2 Unit, Buckets, however was anjoying the company of man Onderonian honeys once again as he flashed all those dollar dollar bills around he made last time. You bet he was puting it all in or nothing for the next round.

The TINKTINKTINKTINK of a chain-like sound begins, and the heavy iron gate rises opening the way for the Rotworms to emerge into the stadium to begin their match. Sumi looks at each as they step up and speak, her gaze landing on King for a long, long moment before she pulls her helm down and wipes any expression she had from her face. "Let's kill some bodies." Sumi extends a Z6 stun baton out with a sudden SNAP, and activates its mace shaped end to emit violent sparks of blue electricity, humming and growling with each motion there after. The serrated edges afixed to the mace-like ending are a custom touch, clearly intended to cause pain and suffering. She rotates the weapon and holds it out to her side before running ahead.

As both teams emerge from their respective pits, the crowd erupts in cheers again. Music plays, fireworks explode, and a lot of the crowd begins stomping and clapping to elevate the hype of the ensueing violence. At the center of the arena, a suite box has been arranged for the fair Princess of Onderon and her Daddy, the King. Both appear to be enjoying the fine dining of two golden droids who have just delivered their meals and poured them wine.

The Hunter Elitezzz face off against the Rotworms (Us), and the other team consists of twenty (20) well trained hunting Kath Hounds, fifteen (15) Graiveh (werewolves essentially), and one cocky-ass rider atop a massive tusked Reek, holding a banner for some Onderonian Noble House that doubles as a lance. It's a noble Knight!

The heat begins and the rider blows a horn, triggering a response from the Kath Hounds and Graiveh alike, because they all charge ahead!

There are so many people here - so many well armored, hyper-armed people - that it brings a warm, fuzzy feeling to a gut that is, arguably, already pretty warm and fuzzy. Mujiji is pleased.

And then it is time.

As soon as things start popping off, Mujiji lets out a whoop and runs forward, bounding between the feet of her fellows with a shout of "DOWN!" before bodily chucking a frag grenade into the mass of kath hounds with a cackle heralded by the disembodied bits of three of them.

With a grin, and her grenade expended, she draws the vibrodagger from her hip... She's running with Mandos these days, after all.

Yan's barbs gain a slight turn of Hadrix's bionic eye, independent to the organic, towards the heavily armored man. Not even a glare - just a look from one eye that spans a heart beat before the Massive Mandalorian's eyes are both looking blankly to the ground, unfocused. But he does speak softly,

"Keep watch out for her, Yan. She almost got it from a half pack of Akk-Dogs last time." shifting slightly, he has his jetpack on. The one with the missile launch capability. "Lady Jynx, if you and he grow overwhelmed, signal me." lapsing again to introspection, meditation, whatever it is that has him breathing deeper despite himself, a single phrase audible in the mix,

"Chaab mirshe'kyramla te'kih kyr'am gotal'ur ori'kyr'am"

Stepping forth as the announcements are made and the fight begins, Hadrix wastes little time in target selection - focusing attention on the jack-hole with the banner, shaking his head.

<"Chakaaryc sheb'urcyin..."> snarling and then blasting out a quartet of energy darts to close the distance, looking to absolutely ruin the ponce's day.

Giving Sajin a grin, she nods to him and then hears the lifting of the gate. Hard to miss. That adrenaline soars further and she is off at a jog, letting others get ahead of her because she is not made to be a meatshield. Instead she ticks her gaze towards Mujiji - recognition. "Awwwww hell," she mutters but she turns her head to keep the blast from blinding her. She steps to the side of the large figure of Hadrix and releases a star, then another after the second misses.

The other slams into the werewolf like creature which is unnerving all together in and of itself. That star does some extra damage once settled in and she watches the blood rush forth. Her hand is a bit shaky at the best of times and now in a room full of possible death with other fighters she can hear her blood pounding in her ears. Hadrix is offer is heard and finally responded to moments after. "Thank you, I will." She swallows and lifts her chin, stepping forward in preparation for engagement.

"Nothin' to it but to do it," is King's long-time wisdom, reaching down to spin his Enforcer out of its holster. The maw of a barrel is lifted to tip his hat back just a hair more so those blue eyes can get a better look at the opponents and a grin creeps to his moustached lip. There's a look over to Yan and the Morellian asks, "So, whatcha thinkin', chief? Tion Two-Step? Mon Calamari Mix-up?" Yan has no idea what he's talking about, but King likes shootin' the breeze.

The tiny gal's explosion draws an even larger grin from the man as he steps forward into the arena, that chrome pistoli looking for a target. Spying the big-type that EJ's attacking, King will settle on that one. The hammer is pulled back on the beautiful Morellian Weapons Conglomerate .48 Enforcer and the trigger is pulled. WHIPCRACK. Arguably the loudest handgun in the galaxy fires its payload, sending a giant metal slug heading straight towards the beast.

From King's volley, a slug rips through the Graiveh's leg, sending it stumbling before another shot splashes out of its back, exploding violet blood all over the place.

Standing there, waiting for the gate to get opened, Dhr'rall just starts chuffing in amusement. The fact the it was right after Zhu Yan addressed Hadrix is completely a coincidence. Then the iron gate is out of the way, and he turns to look out over the heads of all the rest of the team. "Always am enormous one on these teams, as if needing to compensate." The irony of the fact he says this while existing as a large Togorian looming over the rest of his team is completely lost on Dhr'rall. He has work to to anyways. Tactics, no sense in being shy it worked out so well last time. After looking over all the Hunter Elitezzz Graiveh, Kath Hounds, and at last the cocky rider upon the Reek his head tilts slightly to the side. Ears swivel towards the massive beast, and both his eyes remain open to focus on it as his rifle comes up to bear. After all, this plan worked flawlessly last time. The trigger is depressed, and there is muttering in Togorian as his blast goes wide.

"Is that rabbit throwing bombs?!" exclaimed Zhu Yan, who was too busy looking at the chrono lazily glued to the wrist of his armour to notice that the gate had gone down. So zetta slow!

The Heavy Power Armour is a marvel of engineering. One of the key features, aside from blocking everything up to and including an E-Web, was a series of rocket boosters built into the back, arms, and calves of the durasteel plating. It was a jetpack without a jetpack, and when Yan finally realised they they were about to have a biff and scanned the forces they were facing, he noticed that not a single one of them had a ranged weapon at play.

Yan started laughing.

It was not a pleasant laugh.

Putting those little legs to good use, he started walking, then jogging, then running, then sprinting. The jets on his rockets spurted to life and he leaped into the air, higher than any mortal man could leap. It was a good fifteen feet of elevation. "Whooh!" Twisting, angling his legs forward, he pointed them straight at the face of the guy that Lunkhead had shot. The one on the Reek. The one only wielding a spear. Then he fired the calf-jets and began his descent into oblivion with the pithy quip of, "This is your WAKEUP CALL!".

CRUNCH.

https://youtu.be/NrOemQaEJGU?t=64

Yan's feet impacted the rider in the chest, barely doing anything to arrest his momentum and ripping the spear-wielding man right out of his seat and off his vaunted Reek. The pair of them hit the ground like a Q-board after a mad leap, Yan's boots compressing the noble into the dirt with enough force to wind him (but not injure, by this point there wasn't enough momentum). "How's THAT for hello!" exclaimed the smuggler, his jets lifting him back into the air so the noble could blink away the birdies and figure out what in the hell just happened.

Aja changes up her usual tactics to try and go for injuring as many opponents as possibly as quickly as possible. She darts towards the Graiveh, intending to run through the whole pack of them. The first swipe of her sword slices clean across the creature, but it seems she's unused to this shift on styles and the second swing goes wide, leaving her open to a return attack.

Sajin's head turns slowly over the pit, looking over his enemies. <<"Kathhounds and... ah yes. Gravy, my old friend.">> The tall power armor wearing Hapan was familiar with these creatures. He had fought them before. THe King of Drik waits but a moment, looking through the first moves of his team. He notices Hadrix, then Yan goo after the big beast in the back along with its self assured rider. His Jetpack alights and he blasts off shortly after Yan, landing behind the dismounted noble just as he's about to get up. His massive blade falls, barely missing the scurring noble. The reprisal slash wasn't expected and cuts clean and deep. Sajin towers there, ready for an onslaught.

And the fight begins!

The Graiveh move at very quick speeds circling their prey in a trained and deadly fashion while the Kath Hounds set to swarm and overwhelm. The Reek and its Rider had intended to pick out targets that were separated from their pack and alone, but that was stopped when the rider was taken from the seat of their reek leaving the animal to select its own targets. Sumi is one such target, and she's hit with the full brunt of a charge and trampled over while the thundering feet stomp along. The Reek slows to a stop and turns about finding Sumi face down in the dirt and hurting. It looks for another target and trots along!

Yes, this rabbit did just throw a bomb. This rabbit is also now wielding a vibrodagger in both of her tiny paws, and is glaring totally separate daggers at EJ.

Mujiji points at the woman menacingly with the 'sword' before turning and unleashing an attack against a rushing kath hound. This is done in one swift, fluid, and graceful motion - and it would have been so, so much cooler if the hound was still there when her blade slashed through the air.

"Ah kriff.... SUMI?" She needs a ride - and it looks like that ride is conveniently lying low. Moo leaps at the Mandalorian, gripping at Sumi's armor with one paw while the other waves the vibrodagger wildly above her head. "Yer fine, yer fine - up an' at'em!"

For a moment the big man's head lifts when he sees Yan in flight. Majestic. Somehow. Sort of. Ok it's a good show of it. "Good thing I opted to play defense posture for you, Lady Jynx..." Hadrix's voice a guttural growl while he tracks movement - watching Sajin add injury while his organic eye closes to the flash of Jiji's explosives.

"Kote'echoy... Ni'kote'echoy..." turning when he sees one of the horned ungulate-canine creatures charging their way, interposing himself and taking the bite on a vambrace and shoving the creature away even as lupine humanoid descends with teeth and claws. A chunk of his shoulder pad cut away and then sparks from a sweep across the helmet just above his eyes.

"Eriu?"

KROONK KROONK KROONK KROONK KROONK KROONK KROONK KROONK

The rifle belches fire again, chugging along with the heavy report of tibanna flooding and igniting in rapid succession, a pair of rotating chambers within making the percussive onslaught possible. The man who had been shot, then kicked, then cut is bucked to one side, and again, one arm tears free to skitter and pinwheel across the ground, another hole is opened and parts begin spraying and Hadrix is screaming with the roar of TA-16.

Eriu watches as big man steps in front of her just as her visored head notes Mujiji. Death by bunny. "Shit." she says beneath her breath. She is glad when he takes the hit for her or well, the miss however it works. "I am okay back here, Hadrix. Keep plowing em down!" She declares and then is twisting about, catching one of the hounds in her view. Fingers flex on the stars and she smiles a bit to herself.

They both land deep and as the poor creature bleeds she is sliding to a stop from her foreward run to add to the momentum of her toss. It goes down and she smiles, that red braid bobbing against her back as she looks to King. "Nice shot!" She says to the gunslinger, grinning as white teeth flash.

She comes about slowly, readying two more stars.

"Hellfire!" King says, a Kath Hound smacking into him and driving him to the ground before King manages to shake it off to track down other fleshy targets. He doesn't have time to get up, though, before one of those big, hulking Graivehs lumbers up and starts swiping wildly at him, it's claws digging in across the gunslinger's thigh.

Standing up shakily, the Morellian presses a hand to his bloodied leg and looks up at the werewolf, frowning deeply. "You wanna tussle, boy!? Let's tussle!" he shouts to the beast, running to grapple with it. It's a big hoss, but King's wiry and mean, so while he doesn't initially get the best of the monster in the fight, he does stamp down hard on its foot and drive a punch right across its jaw. Hands raised in front of his face, he'll say, "I said come on, boy!'

With Sumi down, and the rest of the fight going... their usual lucky. Dhr'rall takes a long moment to consider. While sticking ones neck out unecessarily for another Hunter isn't usually a thing, in this case. This seems rather necessary, because who wants to watch a reek stomp a co-worker, at least a tolerated co-worker. There's more firing along their lines, melee happening in the peripheral vision, and the hounds bay and nip and almost everyone. This time he just focuses. Both ears snap forwards onto the reek, and his eyes hold a lose focus. He waits for the right moment, reek not charging the downed sumi means a perfect chance to fire. He tries for the eye but scores a solid blast spot along its flank instead.

whhhhCRUNCH.

That was the sound of rocket thrusters cutting out right above one of the Graiveh's trying to tear King and EJ a pair of structurally superfluous new be-hinds. Over a hundred kilos of durasteel and ego fell out of the sky like a thrown brick and landed full-force on the back of the wolflike creature, driving it down to the ground, it's one visible eye looking with fear at the masked face of Zhu Yan but most importantly the barrel of the gigantic blaster being pressed into its temple. "Bye!" said the smuggler, before the Graiveh's head suddenly ran afoul of the chunky salsa rule.

Hearing a hound beside him trying to break through the barriers that was Lunkhead Kora to reach Queen Best Looking, he stuck the Bryar under his left arm and fired almost-blind, putting a hole straight through that one's chest. Two down, Yan was grounded (for now). "Did you say something before, King?" he asked, seeing as the Morellian was wrasslin another Graiveh right next to him.

As the Kath Hounds get a scent of that sweet stabkitty ass, Aja becomes an acrobat for the next few moments. Diving, rolling, leaping, and elseways staying the fuck away from the hounds. One snaps at her tail and she lashes at back ineffectually with the tail, "NO! BAD DOG!" Then one of the Graiveh seems to take offense to that and comes rushing in for an attack as well! Aja, ducks beneath the arm of the attacking creature and whirls around to slice cleanly up the creature's back, letting out a spray of blood and drawing more attention. Trying to stab out at a Graiveh headed for one of the others does not fare as well, the blade missing its mark and putting her on the defensive once again.

Sajin has to step back from his persuit of the noble in order to yeet himself out of the way of an incoming Kath Hound. Though, it appeared to just be a feign as a Graveih sticks him through the weak part in his armor. It wasn't a very deep cut. <<"Gahh!">> Sajin turns towards his Lupine attack, only considering the Noble up until Hadrix blasts them away. Without that target to worry about, the King of Drik is free to slaughter in sweet vengence for such a dirty tactical trick. He swings twice, coming down hard with his blade yet the Graiveh seems to take aception and moves swiftly our of the way of his strikes.

Sumi pushes up, sanding falling off her gear as she stabs her electric baton into the ground and leverages herself up with a grunt. The added weight of a murder rabbit hanging onto her has Sumi favoring one side, but this is not the first time she and Mujiji have gone to battle together. "Hang on, Moo." Sumi growls, and madly charges at a Reek that's easily 10x their weight. "AHHHHHHHHH!"

The crowd is absolutely roaring and the onslaught in the arena has got the King of Onderon standing up, and the Princess shielding her eyes to look away as the ROTWORMS stand their ground, covering for one another like a practiced squad.

With the Reek keeled over with a thunderous thud, the Noble defeated and bleeding out, all that remained were the beasts. Sumi stomps up and holds her arms up, unaware three Graiveh intended to end her as she cheered! "OYYYAAAAAAAA!" Thanks to Haddles contending with four, Sumi is spared certain death. (I'll let you guys cover your saves!)

From atop her Mandalorian mount (her Mountalorian, if you will), Mujiji finds EJ once more, pointing again. "YOU. OWE. ME. /MONEY/." She shouts, the deadliest war cry to come from the tiny fuzzball of doom and poor constitution.

It's the only one that she ever really /means/.

"AHHHHHHH!" The kushiban screams with Sumi, swinging over and down at a passing Kath Hound and ripping into it without missing a beat... If only that hit had come after her earlier attempt at intimidation.

"That was pert near a day ago, bossman," King calls back to Yan, jumping back out of the way of an inbound Kath Hound, the second one being miraculously intercepted. Losing blood at a pretty alarming rate, King's bloodied hand reaches down to press against his leg wound, hissing as he does so. His revolver is leveled at the Graiveh, chosing effectiveness over flair for once, and he pulls the trigger. WHIPCRACK. The running tally in his head indicates it's time to reload, so, in a flash, the breach is cracked open, sending spent shells flying everywhere. With the practice that over a century of using the weapon has afforded him, the slugs are replaced and the breach is snapped closed and the hammer is pulled back in one clean motion. WHIPCRACK. The slug tears the big Graiveh's arm off and it flails to the ground, whimpering as it bleed out. "Good fight. Really gotta hand it to you, boah."

"Keep mobile." growled to Eriu as Hadrix hunches and leaps forward at a dead run, towards the pack of creatures native to the Clan Home. <"Sumi'Alor Ni gar'hukaat'kama"> barreling into the midst of the beasts like a man who is seeking punishment, more than to protect, with how open he leaves himself.

A space between chest plates and side is open and a heavy fist hits with a resounding KLANGHK as it's hand rebounds. Durasteel wire. It's reinforcing most of his ribs, bone calluses having grown over some of it, some it holding reinforcing plates to his bones.

There is a momentary grin on the Big Man's face and the hellfire glow of the rifle returns, blaster bolts being sent into the crowd to mixed cheers and screams when one of those who had been bearing down on Sumi catches Hadrix in the other side. Shoved hard and into the forearm of yet another, clotheslining the man and sending him flying sideways, only to be speared into while upside down by a fourth canid beast.

It's a rough tumble and it's hard to tell which snarls are the Graiveh and which are the mans as they fall about like raving beasts.

There is suddenly Yan making short work of the creature that tried to end King. As he clobbers into the scene, she comes about and misses that Hadrix has left her. Yes. MISSES the big mandalorian. She is armed and ready for mayhem when the thing grabs hold of her about the torso. Lifted off her feet she cries out first in surprise then in pain as she is tossed a few feet and rolls to a stop. She makes a sound and slowly tries to push up. Prone targets are never good.

She winces some, noting how the armor did not stop those jaws. "What the ever.." she catches her breath and pushes up to her feet, staggering to the side as she whips two stars at at her attacker and is all too glad when one sticks.

She grimaces and keeps to her feet. "I just got healed...I can not do this anymore." The braid and the woman are a little bit dusty...and well bloody. Mujiji's cry did catch her attention and she is doing her level best not to notice. NOPE.

For the second time in less than a week, Dhr'rall observes the guild Badass-tress just tear after someone screaming like a madwoman, gladiator skirt bouncing about maniacally. This time it's the bludgeon a reek into literal submission. Even Dhr'rall makes a brief face of sympathy at the ultraviolence on display. The Murder Rabbit giving a warcry at Ej over credits just gets a blink. He briefly wonders if he has a spice contact high from the crowd. Ej for her part downs a Graiveh with quick thrown stars. Targets, Dhr'rall needs to pick one, a healthy Graiveh is put down to the groun, alive, but not so healthy anymore.

Zhu Yan was the man in the wrong place at the right time. Far be it for him to interfere with one of his allies getting hurt, it'd do him no good if said ally was dead. The Kath Hound was lunging at King, so Yan punched it right in the mouth. This of course did nothing to the hound except allow it to clamp down around his wrist, the ablative plating giving way enough to cause his left arm to emit sparks and a hissing noise. Right. Cybernetic. Sesti was not going to be happy that he'd damaged it.

The nerve connections in his shoulder socket that linked the cyber to his brain said 'You should be feeling: Animal bite' but, unlike the phantom pain when he lost the limb and occasionally when he woke up, or that time when he'd copped a full blast of dark lightning from a certain Emperor Reborn, it was merely a report, and could be ignored. Like that voice in his head that kept banging on about darkness.

Yan was never the type of man to let an opportunity go to waste. Unless he didn't notice it. Or he ignored it. In fact he was absolutely the type of man to let an opportunity go to waste, but not right now. The great thing about having a Kath Hound clamped on you is that it can't run, so it had nowhere to go when Yan put the Bryar between its eyes and coated himself, King, the Graiveh that King was formerly wrasslin', and possibly EJ and Hadrix in brain matter and viscera. "SORRY!" Speaking of EJ, Yan got to see her lifted bodily and hurled off into the distance. He pushed himself back-to-back with King with a THUMP ("That's me!") and brought up the Bryar up to shoot wildly at one of the Kath Hounds trying to turn his lady into mincemeat. "Do you SERIOUSLY owe money to a rabbit?!"

That damn Kath Hound is at it again, snapping at her tail! Aja turns, hissing at the creature as she brings the blade across its shoulders in a nasty slice before drawing back and skewering the animal on the blade entirely. Wrenching the sword free, Aja flicks it once to clear it of blood and gore, hackles raised along her fur and tail lashing sharply from side to side as she starts to prowl for more of the dogs to kill.

One of the blasted hounds leaps up, it's vicious teeth latching onto Sajin's left arm. There is a shout from the King of Drik as he tosses the animal off his gauntlet. A bit of blodo seeps through the broken armor and under layer. He survives an encounter unscathed with a Force User, shot him down even from 25 meters away. HE also blew off the head of a Stormtrooper SArgent... yes it was the Gladiators here on Ondaron that would aparently give him sport for the week. Looking to his wounds the King huffed out a breath. There was a standoff between him and his oponant. His feet slid forward, blade coming up into and overhead stance, he edge pointed directly towards the Graiveh... Then Sajin struck, lunging forward in a single quick motion. The blade swept down then swing up slicing through the Lupine beast, almost cutting it completely in twain. Sajin continues with this momentum, charing towards the next with as much energy, but the fresh beast was alert and ready for his candid assult.

Sumi is trying to contend with the small pack of Graiveh fighting Hadrix. Unfortunately, given their coordinated attack pattern every heavy swing of her weapon is a MIGHTY miss, and she stumbles off to one side, dripping sweat and breathing heavily because she's been a smoker for longer than most have been alive! "STOP. BLOODY. MOVING!" She yells, going back after the rekking Graiveh to try and free up Hadrix so he could have more of a fighting chance. She tromps right into the middle of it.

The fight is just beasts vs. Sentients (Graiveh are semi-sentient!), but everyone in the stands is on edge as the ROTWORMS begin to take a lot of heavy blows, and the Hunter Elitezzz show their prowess in pulling teams apart.

The battle rages! It's glory beating through her veins! Still screaming and wielding her vibrodagger like a knight, she gains further traction and FLINGS herself from Sumi's back, screeching like a bunny possessed! She lands atop one of the other kath hounds, grasping it and roaring her bloody desires to the wind! Atop her new mount, Mujiji spins her attention wherever her bucking beast wills, and points the weapon straight ahead to spear one of te other hounds - until her mount swerves at the last second, nearly unseating her. "Kriffing idiot!" She berates it.

Being dog piled on... haw. Hadrix and the lupines become a roiling ball of dust and limbs. The torso plate of his gladiator garb raked at by razor talons while the big man attempts to roll and clear himself. He could use the jetpack. But much strategic thought is barricading itself in the dark places in the back of conscious thought.

Forcing himself to a kneel with one of the Graivehs latched onto a cuisse and slowly crushing it as Hadrix looks up in time to see a mouth close around his head. Spittle running from his lips and blood from metal forced into the skin of his forehead by powerful teeth. It turns his face into a crimson mask and his bionic eye is momentarily struck with a clinking sound and a pointed tooth hooking into the pit of his iris, threatening to tear it free.

The repeater continues to fire, chewing up sand around them and spraying molten glass into the air like glowing red rain. Unable to get a bead while trying to get his head free of the damned thing so he can take a proper shot.

Kriff life right now! Kriff it! For even as she gets up there is only a moment where she can breathe before another Graiveh rushes out of now here. Its like watching the world slow as she sees the swipe incoming but her body is not quite as willing as it was before to move. She tries to twist and its claws rake across her side and keep her moving to lose her footing and stumble. "No no no..." She winces some and then feels the heavy jaws clamp down around her left leg which lags behind her.

Pain sears through and as the beast waggles its head around with its teeth digging in past the armor and around it, she shrieks as she is tossed like the small rag doll she is presently. Het helmet rolls off and as shots are taken at it she finally comes to lay on her back, staring up at the dust that rose up around her. She coughs, wincing, the world getting a little hazy a the edges.

More Kath Hounds nipping at his ankles, Dhr'rall growls at the little anklebiters, and tears his focus towards something more dangerous. Sumi frustrated. Blink. Wrong kind of dangerous, moving his vision, he does catch EJ going down, Dhr'rall found her a likable human. With everyone else so occupied, he takes a few shuffling side-steps her way to try to at least help her with the next round of hungry hounds and angry Graiveh. If he sees Zhu come back this way, he's going to hop back in a hurry, in the meantime. He blasts another Graiveh out of the fight with a snap shot. "Do not try to reach for Dhr'ralls credits." He teases the downed Hapan with some chuffing. He stops quickly though, she looks relatively injured, and he needs to focus on potential incoming threats.

"Left!" King shouts to Yan, turning so the be-armored fellah can deal with the incoming Kath Hound instead of the beautiful, button-down wearing Morellian. Honestly, it was an oversite. He will definitely make the same mistake again, because he really just hates being weighed down by armor. And Yan's there to soak it up, anyway.

His revolver is dropped low to his side and his other hand hovers over the hammer. Fanning said hammer, three slugs sail from the barrel towards the Graiveh that just set in on EJ somethin' fierce. They all just barely miss the beast, likely parting his hair for him, but they don't strike true.

King grunts.

Left! As King moved, so did Yan, twisting the gunslinger out of the way to catch the bite of the Kath Hound on his armoured chest. That one hurt, bruising and cutting the skin beneath the plating, and he was about to bring the Bryar up to end it like he'd ended so many beasts today when EJ went down.

The last time this happened, it was Sajin who entered rage mode. This time, it was Yan. "No," was the little word that emerged as EJ's helmet rolled off. Then there was a dangerous moment of silence. Then Yan's helmet came off.

"ENOUUUUUGH!

The expression underneath couldn't have belonged to a man who was all there. It was wide eyed, almost crazy, with long sweaty hair pressed across his face, full of anger and hatred and all the things that he only ever let out when he was really, really nettled. Sorry King, the Coruscanti Tango had to come to an end as Yan straight up charged the wolfmen. One of the ones who had harmed EJ was grabbed on the shoulder by the crushing force emitted from his synthetic hand, while the barrel of the Bryar was introduced violently to its mouth for some impromptu and very fatal dentistry. The second shot was hampered by the top of the weapon not being fully out of the monster's mouth, and it went wide somewhere in the crowd and hopefully made someone's day worse than Yan's right now. The veneer of humour was once again gone, this time replaced by what passed for fury amongst his misbegotten kind.

Aja is geared up to kill more Kath Hounds... only for them to start backing off and scurrying away from the roar of the smuggler in the power armor. "Hey! Noooooooooooooo! Get back here and die!" THe Farghul takes off across the arena, chasing after the Kath Hounds with sword raised.

The whining gears and pullies of Sajin's formfitter armor work over time as he swings yet again at the Graiveh, his time his blade slixing clean through the lupine's torso. Blood spirts out after a moment, end trails sticking out and leaking bile all over the ground. The Graiveh falls over onto his gutted stomach and dies before the mighty King of Drik... He moves onto the next, fresh eyes mean quick reactions so his intially strike misses.

And then the rabbit gets bit. With a battle cry that turns into an actual scream of pain, Moo is /definitely/ bloodied. Batting at the beasts head, the kushiban yells, slamming the butt end of her dagger against her attacker and not really doing much. Still, she finds herself freed and, jerking free and - by complete accident - beheading her own mount.

She hits the ground with a wet, embarassed 'whump'.... Where did Sumi go again?

Someone is killing some of these damned things, there's less weight on him and he needs to figure out who he needs to thank later. Zhu is screaming - so not likely him... more as like that Eriu is downn. The one chawing his skull bites harder, making the metal of his helmet groan and his skull creak from the pressure,

FHOOOONK

White hot bone and vaporized ichor explodes out of the back of the creature, just before more horned hounds smash into Hadrix's side, dragging him across the sand creating a tug of war between themselves and the lupine beast trying to get through his leg armor.

"Gar'dinuir gratiir..." muttered to himself whilst he struggles to get his bearings while he's being torn at, blasting into the ground again when his arm is grabbed and one of his targets is saved.

Ow. Everything hurts. It hurts a lot. "Not...doing....his again..." she says and swallows. Eriu braces as a shadow falls over her and she expects pain possibly darkness or death. Tensing up she hears the growls and fighting that comes with engagement but she's not mauled the rest of the way, instead she glances up to note the figure over her. Someone is there. Powered armor. "Yan..." Its nearly a question but her voice just does not lift to end it as it should with her inflection.

She sucks in a breath. That hurts too. Staying awake generally hurts and she's a ball bundle of nerve endings alight with the ache of her wounds. Exhaling she starts to drift finally as the shapes around her wobble in and out of being.

King's bleeding like a stuck nerf as he begins his slow limp-walk over to the downed EJ and radicalized Zhu Yan. "Laserbrained kath hounds," King groans as he closes the distance, pistoli raising to fire off three slow shots at the incoming dogs. These fly even wider than his last three. "Gotta...gotta get some armor," he finally relents, free hand reaching down to slid six bullets from his gunbelt in preparation for his next volley. "She gonna make it?" he asks the bossman, checking the cylinder of his Enforcer to make sure his count is correct.

Again he lifts his pistol, but finds himself slumping to a knee. A moment to steady himself and he fires right through the meat of one of them, buying himself some time. With a quick flick of his wrist, the cylinder is exposed and the spent shells are jettisoned. Loaded again, he snaps it closed. Two more shots ring out and another hound goes down.

Yan definitively has got Ej, so Dhr'rall backs up. Easy enough with all these hounds trying to take a chunk out of him one way or another. He practically dances in places a moment, big giant paws stomping up and down. He has a half moment to settle and takes his shots calmly to drop the last of the Graiveh, and then a follow up to make a hound leave the mortal coil in the arena. He decides to flash a paw towards the crowd, to ensure they they are indeed, entertained. He's only not just remembering the real reason he is here. Better quarry. He's also only looking towards Sumi with side-eye. Her rage is something to be wary of, and he doesn't want to be a target of her wrath at the moment, even if it is a bunch of near misses. He's a much bigger target after all. Then they are all down, and he raises the rifle now in victory as well.

Kath Hounds bounced off the tank that called himself Zhu Yan like tears in the rain. Time to die.

Whoever said a blaster pistol was not a melee weapon was a fracking liar, because Yan was doing just fine with it. As a hound charged for the woman in his... charge, Yan punched it down with his free hand and shot it right in the face. EJ was target numero uno underneath his wide stance, seeing as she was bleeding out and a sitting sort-of waterfowl. Turning, eyes wild and teeth bared like a Klingon in need of a dentist, he shot a second one out of the sky mid-leap. There weren't any bithy comments or fancy moves, just straight-up rude efficiency as the powercell on the side of the Bryar PINGed out and Yan smached another one in.

That was when he started going wild. With them not directly moving towards him, the shots started hitting the walls as he failed to get a bead on them. All except one. As rage took over the rest of the Rotworms, and hounds started dying in droves, the last one left alive went straight for Zhu Yan.

BLAM.

And that was it. All was quiet. It was over. "She'll make it," said Yan, in an accent that was just a liiiiiiittle bit more upscale than his normal one. He was staring off into space, coming down from his combat high. His eyes had glassed over as exhaustion started catching up to him. "She'd better make it."

ITS THE FINAL COUNTDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN! With the majority of the Rotworms injured, Aja is still merrily running around, slicing and dicing the kath hounds and avoiding their teeth and claws handily. Its the gladiator armor. Its lucky armor. That final push to kill the beasts ends and the Farghul starts picking her way through the corpses, looking for something... ah! There.

The sword is sheathed and the dager comes out as Aja makes quick work of it, carving out the heart of the Graiveh that first tried to eat her. As the helmet comes off, set onto the pommel of her vibrosword, she takes a nice, big, juicy bite of the still-warm muscle and starts heading back towards the others, waving to the crowds along the way!

Sajin jukes and jives out of the way of a trifecta of hounds slashing at him with their claws or jumping and attempting to latch onto him with their teeth. The have little luck against the experienced Mercenary. He twirls his blade, waiting for another attack from the beasts. When one comes, he swings his massive ebon blade like a bat, catching the hound and cutting deep before sending a bleeding dead body towards the ground. It yelps in the process. He slashes at another, yet they are too quick once more. HE steadies himself as the others dig in against the beasts. Sajin swings once more, missing. He spins around to catch the dodging hound with his sword on the reprisal, cutting clean into it.

Sajin turns his head to look towards Yan and EJ. He notes she didn't look all that great and begins to move in their direction, shouldering his massive ebon blade. He was still bleeding but the adrenaline had yet to ware off.

Sumi is jogging, trying to swing as she's moving. It is Hadrix who is responsible for her still being a contender in this fight, but she risks her health to chase after Mujiji, who had released a pained scream that caught her ear.

Just as a Kath Hound bears down to finish its job with Mujiji, Sumi's third swing (following the two she made enroute) crushes the side of the Hound's torso and the electricity expels it from the serrated edge of her baton, sending the shocked to death flaming furball toward the stands only to have it collide against an unseen shield barrier and fall limply back into the sand.

"You're alright," Sumi echoes Mujiji's own words from earlier and offers her freed bloody arm for the rabbit to hold onto.

The final shots, and swings, and screams of glory see all Kath Hounds cast back down to the dirt. When it seemed uncertain what fate held for the Rotworms, the stands grew quiet. And now? The Rotworms made it!

Cheering erupts all around them as fireworks go off again. The announcer's voice sounds over the speakers as the hovering Holo screen above shows a close up of all our heroes in the sand.

<<"THE ROTWORMS WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNN! THE HUNTER ELITEZZZ ARE DOWN!">>
