That Which Tracks, He Who Falls Off Cliff.

OOC Date: September 6th, 2020
Location: Pamarthe
Participants: Sebek, Vhe Tenara, and Elrych Cometburn

[Vhe Tenara]

The distant rumble of a storm announces the oncoming change of seasons as well. A charge in the air has Vhe's braided hair fraying and curling about her, whipped about by the wind at the edges of her hairline. "Can you taste it? The ion charge?" She sticks out her tongue and mmmms, giving herself a moment to breathe in as the two stand atop the plateau. She's got on a pair of trousers and the her sleeveless teal tunic as the Jedi enjoy the change of scenery and for more than just running cargo.

"I was told there is a cavern around here. I was not told how we get inside but we should definitely try to find it." She looks excited, her own energy rising to rival that of the storm as she reaches down and picks up another rock, building the small spiral in the short scrub grass that surrounds them. A signature of sorts that will likely get worn away, kicked, moved by others and so forth over time.

[Elrych Cometburn]

"I can feel it in my bones." Elrych said to Vhe as the wind whipped his dark green robes and brown hair around unrelentingly. Blue eyes look over the skyline and the approaching storm as they've made it to the top of the Plateu. Vacation was the name of the game here. He's a simple satches with him for a day hike and his normal other items. "Caves? Now now, you know what happens when Jedi go looking into caves." He smirks, making a joke at their expense. They always seem to run into trouble in caves.

[Sebek]

Today was no exception.

Pamarthe was an interesting place, ripe for conquering and subjugation. The problem with that, of course, is that the Knight of Ren who should well be looking for ways to conquer and subjugate was on The Hunt. For you see, Sebek of the Desert had recently traded in a Nestt-class Freighter in exchange for That Which Pursues, a vessel far more befitting his nature. And who should have bought that freighter but He Who Brags? Why, it was fate! Fortuitous fate that led Sebek here today to hunt the greatest prey of all.

Jeedai.

"BEHOLD!" was the roaring cry of the Falleen upon the plateau, having been following the Jeedai at a distance until they reached this glorious arena! He wore no mask, no helmet, and thus his wider-than-wide smile of glee and malice was on full display. This man /blinged/. Along the ridges where ears would normally be were golden studs. There was a golden ring in each brow. His topknot was bound by an ornamental serpentine clasp which was, you guessed it, gold. His eyes had thick, winged eyeliner that was so solid it could well be tattoos. Each hand had on it a ring, gold, a different gem bound to it. And though he wore the raiment of the Knights of Ren, he wore only the armour over his bare torso and pants. Shoes? None.

"Fortuitous it is that I find you here, Jeedai! Each of you owes me defeat! Shall the score be levelled, or shall superiority be proven once again!" This dark mirror to both the naturalistic Vhe Tenara and battle-harded Elrych Cometburn held in his hand a weapon of dread. Tei Tenga! A hilt the size of a saberstaff, asymmetric in design, with one end designed to emit blood-red doom and the other flanged and menacing. It had already claimed wounds crippling in nature.

"Or," Sebek reached forward with his left hand, taloned and ringed, "shall we speak of He Who Leads and where he resides?" The hand clenched shut into a fist. "Or shall I beat it from you?"

[Vhe Tenara]

And just like that all that was blissful and right with Pamarthe is dashed aside by the arrogant approach of one Sebek of the Knights of Ren.

Vhe comes about and noting the weapon as he speaks and approaches, she drops the last stone she was fitting into her artwork and instead pulls the leather bound saber from her side. Its yet to ignite as she readies herself in the face of their foe. "Like you could do anything for Malik. He is held where you can not reach him and that is all. Leave now." Its a stoic warning but the anxiosuness about her is palpable.

Her fingers curl tightly around the leather bound hilt as the saber jumps to life. The pale blue hue of her blade gifted by the pontite inside makes it focused, with a barely audible hum. The blade looks near perfection in its strength.

"Go."

[Elrych Cometburn]

Elrych raises an eyebrow when 'BEHOLD' is shouted across the distance, over the wind and roaring distant storm. He hobbles around, turning towards the voice. There stood Sebek, falling upon his blue gaze. A slight smirk forms on his lips, "Well, hello there. I was wondering who they'd send."

You see, before becoming a Jedi Knight Elrych had a rather varied past as a no good lousy smuggler. He knew where and when to check for trackers. He'd found the one Sebek Hid on Vhe's new ship The Orphic Nomad, but left it there. He was curious to see who would come after them. Was it the Kora's, was is Malik himself? "So they send you, Bonechewer?" There is a look towards Vhe as she unclips her saber and activates it. "He's on Chandrila but will be moved soon. I, however, can't let you go after him. That would just be irresponsible." He unhooks his own lightsaber, slowly and eliberatly. The blade activates, a deeper blue than Vhe's but almost as quiet. A more stable crystal than that of most blue lightsabers. "We ant looking for trouble, so if you scoot... that'd be greaaat..."

[Sebek]

"Heh," was the horrible noise that came from the Falleen.

"Hah!" was the next one, around about the time that Tei Tenga burst to life with its own horrible scream.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" The laughter was like nails on chalkboard. Sebek's sharp pointed black nails, in particular. Gotta get your manipedis on. "To be moved from Chandrila! Behold! Thus speaks He Who Brags, unable to keep his mouth shut like his woman!" What an asshole! "Alas, for trouble has found you!" There was a terrible VWHROOOM noise as Tei Tenga was rotated, and then held up and to the side in a typical stance of Ataru. "Come, then, and show me what passes for fury amongst your misbegotten kind!"

[Vhe Tenara]

Vhe gives Elrych a look as he speaks of the location, her lips parting in something near surprise before she is twisting back to study the bedecked and bedazzled falleen. Her lips firm a thin line and the Ysanna swings the saber up in a high guard, the kirruk tooth swinging heavily from the end of the hilt before she swings it back down and to the side.

The soft hiss of the blade timed like music as she moves forward to close the distance but instead of her blade meeting him first she attempts to catch him offguard with a sudden telekenetic strike that is just not enough to do anything. The ground beneath her hide covered feet shifts and moves, a few pebbles and rocks scattering but Sebek does not move.

[Elrych Cometburn]

Elrych was not dumb. He did things for a very specific reason. "If you didn't know where he was you must live under a rock. He'll get out, no matter where they put him. It's something I've forseen and have come to expect." Vhe could sense that he was serious and truthful. His connection to the galactic force had been strong since the time he spent in carbonite. As Sebek refuses to let them be the Jedi sighs. "Very well..."

It wasn't the storm that cuased the wind to pick up... it was Elrych himself. His eyes glowed blue for what seemed like a breif moment. Vhe could feel the force swell inside of him like a great and powerful storm, like the one on the horizon. As she attack, so did he. In a flash he was gone, appearing before Sebek less than a moment later. His blue blade, humming in a hungry whisper, carved upwards, missing the Falleen. Yet in seemingly the same instant, he twistsed and turned slashing horrizontally before plunging the blue blade forwards in an uscharacteristiclly agressive attack.

[Sebek]

"Yes! YES! Join me in glorious ba-" it was at that point that everything went wrong for the Falleen. Sebek hadn't even finished talking before He Who Brags was on him like Sajin on a nerf patty melt. Tei Tenga was half-way across before the blue beam went straight through the gaps in his armour. Pain made Sebek stagger. Staggering made Sebek trip. And tripping, with his positioning, made him fall.

Off the mesa.

Down and down and down the Falleen tumbled, just like his attitude. With that wound through his torso he was not going to be climbing anytime soon. And this day was the day that Elrych Cometburn levelled his score with barely an afterthought.

[Elrych Cometburn]

Elrych steps forwards as if he was thinking of grabbing the Falleen to stop him from falling. He wasn't that powerful or that fast. He stopped just at the precipice of the Mesa. He couldn't see where the beaten Knight had fallen to. There is a moment of pause before Elrych deactivates his blade, "We're even now! Got it?!" He knows there probably won't be responces

The Jedi mumbled, placing his saber back on his belt and turning around towards Vhe, "Don't worry, he's not dead." A pause as he narrows his brows. "I think..." He shrugs, giving the Ysanna a smile. "So what were we doing?"
