Pyretta Blaze

OOC Date: December 15, 2019 (Optional)
Location: Susevfi - Suarbi System - Quence Sector - Outer Rim
Participants: Ektor, Elrych Cometburn, and Vhe Tenara

The Fair Mynock took off from Rori at some point and jumped into Hyper towards the Quence Sector. The Suarbi System only had one habital planet, the fifth moon of the seventh planet of Suarbi. Suarbi 7 was a Jovian Giant, a gas planet likely mined for precious gasses and other elemets. The one planet that wasn't a dead world with only metal and mineral resources to be had was called Susevfi. The planet was cover in vast grasslands and savanah's. Once a CIS stronghold for a time, it wasn't much of a player during the Civil War era. Now though, it was a major operating point for Leona Tavira and her Invid Pirates... One could tell because the big Star Destroyer called the 'Invidious' loomed off in the distance patrolling the Jovian space.

"Okay... I was not expecting that..." Elrych says as he pilots the Mynock towards the planet.

Alongside the big freighter, an old Longprobe variant Y-wing emerges from hyperspace, flying escort and following Elrych's course for the planet. <<Was you expecting that?>> Ektor asks the pair aboard the Mynock. <<Because I was not expecting that.>>

Inside the Mynock with Elrych is Vhe and she comes up beside the pilot seat with her feet spread to take her weight. "What..is that?" Vhe asks, a brow lofting as she grips the back of his chair and braces her other hand to the hull above her head. Her wild hair is once more restrained by a wrapping of silk to keep it from her face. Its not a turban but a loose bit of cloth that manages to hold back the mass like a dam would. She lets out a long breath. "Is it safe..that does not look safe.." she remarks to no one but Elrych unless the coms are open.

<<"Hell no.">> Elrych says to Ektor over the comms before flipping the comms switch for the intercomm, "Hey, ladies." He's talking to two of the three hired females who crew the Mynock with Vhe and Elrych. "Might want to head towards the Dual Canons just in case..." He flips off the intercom and looks to Vhe, a look of 'I have no idea this would happen' on his face.

The 'Invidious' lumbers in the distance, what TIE/ln's that the original compliment had patrol the local space. A Flight of three turn and start towards the Addict Shaak and Mynock. Their speed hasn't change, just a typical interceptor course. A groggly male voice comes over the comms, hailing both vessels. <<"Hey... you guys arn't on the scheduled list. What's your buisness here?">>

And so it began.

<<Heheh.. This oughta be fun,>> Ektor claims with as audible grin. He mercifully stays quiet long enough for Vhe and Elrych to get the first word in with the groggy Invid interceptors, lazily positioning himself so as to better screen the big freighter should their collective charm fail.

Staring at the comm Vhe is already thinking as quickly as she can and before Elrych can reach out she clears her throat and settles into the space jargon and farer voice that is native to her. <"Managed to get off our last stop early. Day 'head of schedule. Got some high prized fuel in here and needt' get it off loaded quick. Gonna get us clearance or make us wait?"> SHe tilts her head, hesitating as she glances down at Elrych, wetting her lips as hse waits, now her other hand that was on the hull braces at the console on the edge her other hand gripping the back of his seat.

While flying and as Vhe talks, Elrych attemtps to patch together some sort of access code to transmit. He goes through the files he has on the systems, check the Darknet. There's nothing he can use. He looks over to Vhe, a lost sort of look in his blue eyes as she finishes talking over the comms. There's a long pause, a tense pause. <<"Alright... sounds legit. Just make sure you pay the early delivery fee. You'll screw up the whole flow.">>

Elrych sighs in relief before giving a wide grin to Vhe, reaching out for her hand and giving it a squeeze. "Nice work." Back over the comms to Ektor, <<"Looks like we're clear.">>

The Flight of Line TIEs turn back towards the 'Invidious' and their original patrol route.

The flight over the flat plains and svannahs of Susevfi is rather uneventful. As they near the capitol city of Yumfla, the towering imperial monument that used to be the Govoneur's Palace grows. The freighter comes in for a landing at an open port, the ramp coming down to let those inside out. "You guys stay here... Vhe and I will be back." Said to the Mynock's crew as Elrych steps down and onto the duracrete. He looks around, the lenses of his glasses darkening as the bright Savvanah sun bombards them with UVs. "So... here we are." He looks back to Vhe if she follows. "Where do you think we should start?"

Ektor notes to himself, "That was good, sounded real good. I was just gonna say I don't answer nobody who ain't got shields. ...Except saying that would probably count as answering. ..Damnit." Having roundly outwitted himself, the Tionese pirate shrugs, smiles, and keeps pace with the Mynock. <<Don't pay the early delivery fee, that ain't a real thing,>> the chronically late pirate claims to Elrych. Setting the Y-wing down beside the Mynock, he tells the astromech, "Keep it locked up, Genius." Popping the canopy, he hops awkwardly down onto the landing pad.

"I don't think we were going to pay it as we are not delivering anything," Vhe remarks to just Elrych as she gives the comm a look. She follows after him then, pulling up the brown blue hood to cover her hair and some of her features. She even lifts a stretchy fabric mask that covers her lower half to help disguise her further and keep her dark eyes uncovered.

Stepping off the ship, the tension mounts and she draws a deep breath to try to relieve it. Her eyes dart to Elrych. "I will follow you." she says simply, not sure where they are going exactly.

Elrych glances over his fellow Jedi and nods slowly, pulling up the face mask he uses with his robes. With the dark shades, the hood of his robes, and the checkered face mask not much other that his white yet rosey skin could be seen. He walks over towards Ektor in his new void suit. "Man, those things really do look good don't they." He takes a deep breath. "I'm thinking we go find a Cantina and maybe." He looks to Vhe, "Set up a little show outside of it. Do some readings and see if our girl comes by? If we get nothing we'll snoop around a bit more."

Ektor's idea of a disguise appears to be as simple as wearing his new set of void armor (a white skull has been crudely painted on the faceplate), and- in a stroke of (relative) inspiration: he's put a lousy little eyepatch on over his bad eye. "I know, yeah? Even *I* only half recognize me," he cracks with a crooked grin. Vhe however, with her wild hair, and expressive nature means she is not at all disguised. She may look like she tried but the mask gets hot and she pushes it down, giving up on the idea as it hangs around her neck and does nothing to hide her features. Ah well! No one knows her anyways. Well Oran does but he's not here so it matters not. "Lets get this over with quickly," she says, glancing up at Ektor and stopping as he puts the eye patch on. She studies him but it soon it become admiration. "I like it..really gives you a look. Nice vibe." she says and nods her head appreciatively.

"Hey, I look cool too." Elrych says as he turns and starts out of the starport and into the city proper. The thing about being a smuggler, even if it wasn't the traditional kind and only for the Resistance, meant you sort of know the kind of people in that buisness... and a Cantina they might hang out at. The group passes a few, the streets not overly cowded but it was still early in the day yet. Finally, the Jedi settles on one. The Neon Holo screen named it 'Bad Decisions' and it seemed to attract a younger crowd.

"Here, Xer and I will head inside and see if we can get any information about this girl. Vhe, make some credits and keep an eye out for us." Then masked Jedi then turns to head into the loud Cantina with the bumping music.

Ektor tosses his helmet back into the cockpit and grins at Vhe. "Don't it, though? No lie, I might keep it," he muses aloud of the eyepatch. Chuckling lazily, he swagger-limps toward the cantina along with the two Jedi. They arrive at the 'Bad Decisions', and Ektor promptly gets into the spirit. He winds up hitting on some very not-blonde woman, and promptly forgets about who they're looking for. "How'd I lose the eye? Funny you should ask, it's a helluva story. See, I was running out of this hidden systems once-"

Vhe is blind apparently, taken in by the various figures and she starts planning marks without remembering what they are looking for. It seems that the two Elrych picked were poor choices or lets just call them Bad Decisions. Irony right? She is passing by Ektor and notes how he is hitting on the woman and leans in. "He's lying..he poked it with his own finger. Be better in a day or so," she remarks with a wrinkle of her nose and pats him on the back as she brushes up against the woman and past her to a man at the bar. "Hey, question for you.." she's been failing so far and so when her hand slips towards his pocket she is found out and those deft fingers are grasped and drawn out. "Ello love, wha'dya doing?" Vhe puts on a smile, "Sorry had something on yer jacket..luv!"

Elrych attempts to get into the spirit as well and practically knocks everyone off the Dance floor as he busts the worst moves in the Galaxy. Literally people start to leave the area around him in order to avoid getting bumped into. They'd much rather get hit on by the armored Xer. He shimmies up to one fellow rolling his arms around his wrists like a dork. "Hey... hey man... you seen this girl." He asks, somehow as he jukes and jives, producing a holo still of the girl.

Startled and backing away a bit, the patron is forced to look at the picture. "Oh... OH yeah, man that's Pyretta. Pyretta Blaze."

"She close by?" Elrych asks, still dancing.

"Nah... she doesn't come here much. Hangs out down the way closer to the Palace. You know, the 'Coven' where those witchy folk like to hang. The JennyDarry? I don't remember. They can be bad news sometimes."

Elrych then starts to dance away, "Alright... thanks man..." He then dances up towards Vhe. "Hey... we're in the wrong place. Gota go up the street to a place called 'The Coven.'"

Elrych Cometburn adds as he notices some random guy's hands on Vhe, "Hey man. That doesn't look right. Maybe let her go, we gota get going."

"Hey, the story is in *how* I poked it," Ektor claims after Vhe's interjection. No luck, and he gradually meets back up with the others. "Thanks a lot," he 'complains' with a grin to Vhe. "I have at least a BASIC understanding of physics, and her top could not hold those things in for much longer.. Wrong place, huh?" he mutters to Elrych. "OH. Right, the blonde I've totally been looking for this whole time. Coven it is, let's go."

It is not Elrych's observation to the man to release Vhe but rather the mode by which he arrives. He drops Vhe's hand to stare at El and just blinks. "Whad'da kriff ya call tha'?" He starts to bark out a laugh, bending forward to hold his stomach as he can not seem to stop. Yep. He's laughing at El's dance moves.

Vhe is grinning like a fool and trying not to laugh. She shoots Ektor a look though and arches a brow. "You don't know phsyics..like I don't know physics." She remarks and sees past him as she blinks. "Hey, isn't that the Moff?" She asks as the speeder whizzes by outside. She starts that way to step out into the street and get a better look.

Elrych thinks he's hot drek with the dance moves and the only thing that gets him to stop is Vhe mentioning the Moff. "What?" He moves quickly with her towards the outside, only to catch the back of the speeder and her well conditioned hair flapping in the wind. "Yeah... maybe. Maybe this is where she hangs out when not on Courkrus."

The speeder is gone too fast for them to have caught it but it was heading right for the big imperial palace in the middle of the city. They were heading in that direction anyways. The Coven is a few blocks down the road way and is almost the exact opposit of the 'Bad Decisions'. It's a classy place with dark moody lighting, and some smooth music playing. There's a card game going on with a few people gathered around a single table. One of them, Pyretta.

Ektor can probably notice the difference in Elrych as he enters and catches sight of thte Blue Eyed Blond known as Pyretta Blaze. It's a hesitation, as if he had met her before or knew her... or at least knew something.

What Vhe senses on top of noticing what Ektor would is the connection in the force that flares up as soon as the two are in the same room together.

This causes an instantanious pause in Pyretta's laughing and good time playing Sabbacc and drinking with her friends, slouched back like Elrych would on a slow night at the Swamp Rat back on Rori. The manurisms were... uncanny. He face falls flat, eyes going wide, and head turning towards the three. "Oh no..."

Ektor peers after the speeder with some Moff in it, curiously, but gets no good look. A shrug, and on they go, until arriving at the upscale Coven. "Eh, frell. It's all classy and drek in here," he complains under his breath as he peers around. Noting Elrych's shift, he adds, "Don't lock up, kid, everybody has a crazy ex.. or twelve."

Vhe follows after Elrych, giving a glance back towards the direction the speeder went. SHe does however step in after him finally and she tilts her head, trying to get a look around them. It is Elrych however that she stares at, her brows furrowing as she steps aside of him and stares down the woman who apparently is there target. Her lips firm into a thin line and she starts forward without even asking if she should. She says nothing but her hood starts to slip back a bit as she moves, the air buffeting the cloth away from her head as she reaches her hand out to grab her arm and seize her. It does not work.

"Wait Vhe, don-" It's too late she's already reaching for Pyretta who dodges out of the way and back up. She pulls a lightsaber from her belt but doesn't ignight it. She's breathing heavily, still reeling from the suddent connection in the force between her and Elrych... and wait Vhe too? She looks to her, eyes narrowing. "Who's this?" She asks of her.

The group of friends that Pyretta has, nine of them in all pull a hodgepodge of blasters and other handheld weapons in reprisal for the attempted grabbing of their friend. "Who the hell are you people, you better get the krif out of here before you end up dead." One says.

Elrych finds his center again knowing that being a Jedi means finding a non-violent way first. Defense... only. Unless it's Oran, kriff that guy.

"Everyone Chill out please." The force is boosting the believability of his words. "We're just here to talk. I don't even know who this woman is but... what..." He looks to her, confused. "What is going on?" He is almost pleading. Pyretta looks down, a frown comming across her face. "I can't... I."

Elrych steps forward again. "Please... just come with us. We can talk about this."

Pyretta starts to push off the wall, he hands lowering, becoming less threatning.

Ektor shows his hands, and cracks a crooked grin as he addresses Pyretta's NINE friends with guns. "Hey, hey, easy does it, yeah? Him and her-" Elrych and Pyretta, "Got some drek to work out, is all. I ain't sure if he's HER crazy ex, or she's *his* crazy ex, but- Anyways, we ain't gonna grab her and run or nothing.. In fact, if you want, I can set down here til she gets back, yeah? Buy a round of drinks maybe play a few hands til she gets back, sound good?"

Pyretta gets just out of reacn and already irritable Vhe is made more so as she narrows her eyes on the other woman as they are pulled down on. The lightsaber is given a look and salt gets pushed into the wound further. No real one for Vhe yet and so she bristles some. The Ysanna looks ready to pounce again despite the odds. It is Elrych that stops her and she eases back, frowning still as she eyes the other woman and steps back to stand with Ektor. Elrych is not even looked at as the Ysanna sweeps her gaze over the others at the table, as if willing them to try their worst.

Pyretta looks towards Ektor and scowls a bit, a growl to her voice. "He's not my damn Ex." He looks to Vhe, and then finally to Elrych. He face softens, "He's my kriffin' big brother."

All at once the nine friends look over their shoulder at Pyretta, "What?"

Elrych pushes back his hood and takes down his mask, "I'm what?"

Pyretta nods towards Ektor, "Pour the drinks loud one..." She moves to pick up the chair and push it back into place, walking towards another chair in the back. She sits down in that lazy way Elrych does himself. "We can talk here..."

Elrych glances to Vhe, purcing his lips in contemplation before moving to the table with Pyretta.

Ektor makes it ten looking over shoulders at Pyretta, "What?" A one beat pause. "Huh. I did *not* see that one coming," he asides to Vhe. "Drinks, right. I can do drinks. This is definitely a whiskey conversation.. And make em doubles, yeah?"

"More than whiskey," Vhe remarks to Ektor as she looks somewhat mollified now. Her eyes flit to Elrych and she motions for him to step forward as she walks for the bar. SOmething still bothers her and she does not want to sit toe to toe with the group. She slowly finds a seat and sets herself down so she can lean into place there, her fingers drawing patterns on the bartop as distractedly. THis is family talk, not girlfriend talk and she's not feeling like she needs to be right up front for this reunion.

Elrych takes a seat, looking towards Vhe. It's an appologetic look. "What do you mean I'm your brother?"

Pyretta rolls her eyes before they settle on Elrych just as he's taking a seat across from her. "I mean it as I say it, as it is. You're my brother, I'm you're sister. Well... half sister. Same mother, different fathers."

Elrych pauses, "So mom was a street walker?" He thought that was just his Dad being a drunken jackass.

"What no, who told you that?" Pyretta says, slightly offended. "She was a Jensaarai, like me. Ran away when she was our age. Had you with some loser Corellian." There's a pause as Elrych does his best to take that comment in stride, "Sorry..." Pyretta clears her throat. "We came in and got her. She hooked up with my dad and then... well she..." He eyes fall, "She passed when I was young."

That look of hope that Elrych's mother might still be alive, vanishes with that news. "Why did you take the necklace?"

Pyretta pauses a moment, her face strait. "Sentimental value. I just wanted it."

Elrych is gulluble, stupified by all that's happening and buys that story hook line and sinker. "Ah... Alright."

Ektor mutters back to Vhe, "You need a hit of spice, too? Cause damn, I could use a hit.." as he pours out thirteen shots of Tionese whiskey, promptly emptying the bottle, and looking around for more. He notes under his breath, "That tracks.. Corellians *are* losers."

"Never tried the stuff," which sounds like a lie though as she gives Ektor a look that might bely her wish for it. She reaches out for a shot however once its offered and she brings her glass to her lips and downs it quickly, setting it down as she eyes Pyretta. "Mmmm" she says and does not seem to find anything off. Nope. ALl is well here. She tilts her head and turns back around, tapping the bar as she pushes the shot glass forward.

Elrych shakes his head, "Alright alright. Who are these Jensaarai people? We have someone named Minerva Thatch back where we've come from."

"Oh... yeah. We know. The Moff was PISSED and so was Dad. Like really pissed." Pyretta shakes her head, crossing her arms over her chest. "We're like you. Force Users. Some old Sith word for Hidden follower of the Truth. We don't do the whole Lightside Drek though. We're not evil though, either."

"But you serve the Moff." Pyretta rolls her eyes, "Yeah... we do. She is the only one that kept use alive after the Jedi got all killed off. Dad says we owe her quite a bit."

"Can't you see the evil she does?" Pyretta is silent and looks away, not answering. "Pyretta... if you're my sister then you know I'm not lieing to you." Elrych pleads.

"I know... we owe her and..." She takes a deep breath, "And if we ever decided we didn't need or want to deal with her anymore, that Star Destroyer would level this place and kill a lot of people. Just like Axxila."

She wasn't wrong.

Vhe gives Pyretta a look and then reaches for her refilled drink and downs it too. SHe wets her lips and reaches up to brush hair from her face that has come free of the silk ribbons. She tilts her head and draws a breath. "I am goign to be outside. This is your family, Elrych." She slides from her seat and turns about, giving Pyretta a look. "SHAME on you, for not speaking to him before taking what you wanted. SHAME!" There is anger in her voice. "I should throttle you for such a thing. Family is priceless and you are petty." Anger simmers as she eyes the other woman.

Elrych glances over towards Vhe, blinking. "Vhe... why would you ever think you couldn't be a art of this. You're family to me." Vhe and Pyretta are connected through the Force through Elrych, through their bonds. Pyretta can feel the anger through him and into her. Her concious weighs heavy on her and her eyes fall "I know... I know. I'm sorry. My father instructed I do it covertly. It's my specialty. I'm sorry. It's." She takes a deep breath. "He needed it to open the Saarai-Kaar's library. Our mother, she was the keeper of the key and... did not return with it when we she returned. Father, he asked where it was but she would not tell him. She said we were not ready for that knowledge. So... I'm sorry."

Elrych frowns, "No more Lieing, Pyretta. Your father he is the leader?" She nods, "Then tell him if he would like Minerva back that he can Parlay with us." Elrych begins to stand. "you know how to contact me. I'll wait eagerly for your responce." He was doing his best keeping all his disapointment, suprise, anger, all the emotions in. His training served him well thus far. He truns and moves towards Vhe, hand going to her elbow. "It's okay... hey... I'm alright. Look at me." He gives her a smile. "Xer, let's get out of here. Thank you all for the company. Sister... until we meet again."

"*Fathers*," Ektor drawls with a crooked grin. "Who needs 'em, am I right?" A glance around, appealing for support and levity in an increasingly dire atmosphere. "Am I right? Eh, rekk it, I'm right. And uh, thanks for not shooting us, I guess." He's up and ambling away from the table after Vhe and El, sparing a moment to adjust his eyepatch. "No lie, I'm keeping this thing."

"Blood is thicker than water...and you lied. You cut out your brother. If nothing else a great resource." Vhe stares at her, feels her own pulse racing as she stares her down. She blinks a few times and turns her head to look at El when he touches her. She meets his gaze. "I have no time for people who care not an inch for family...she can rot for all I care," she says in a hiss and turns around, glancing aside to Ektor and then Elrych as she nods and departs, tugging her hood up higher over her face and forgetting about the rest. Disgruntled. She glances aside at Ektor. "It looks good on you."

Pyretta purces her lips and shakes her head, "I thought you Jedi preached Forgivness." Said as Vhe walks out.

Elrych glances towards Pyretta, "She's been through a lot. Thanks for the chat." He two heads out the door, quiet now. Pyretta and her friends remain where they are and likely go back to a Sabbacc game. She however will be racking her brain for the rest of the night and well after that.
