Raiding the Raiders

Location: The Malachor, Raider Corvette
Participants: Kaiden, Russ Ordo, Kaelyn, Elrych Cometburn, and Poe Dameron. GM: Narsai Ordo

The call had gone out, in truth not for the first time. Small settlements and posts had been reporting raids that had occurred under the shadow of the war between the Resistance and the First Order. It was hardly uncommon for people to make use of the confusion and chaos in the galaxy, but this time they'd hit the wrong people. A raid on one of the desperate relief ships meant for the war torn world of Mandalore when the Revivers had been working hard to try and bring some peace and order to the planet that had become engulfed in the grip of warlords and bandits had left the acting Mandalore Narsai Ordo with little other options. They needed those supplies back.

And so the price had gone out, the request for aid intended to draw in the altruistic along with the offer of payment for the pragmatic, that was how the gathering had come to the meeting room aboard the Malachor. Standing in the Corvette's space by the holoprojector, the woman had her helmet off and sitting upon the table while she speaks. "The ship is only slightly smaller than this corvette. From what we can tell the raiding parties are made up of smaller banded-together syndicates and a few military cast-off. They're well armed, but they've been hit soft targets nonetheless." A pause, she looks between those gathered. "Unfortunately the Mandalorians are still looked upon with suspicion for the actions of our ancestors, we cannot go sending what would be taken as a warship after them. Instead we need a smaller team to disable their ability to flee, then board the ship and secure the cargo."

Leaning against the wall was a man in brown robes, wearing what appeared to be thick rimmed very dark sunglasses and running shoes. He had his arms crossed over his chest, white earbuds in his ears, the music could slightly be heard coming from it. One of them was tucked out, left to hand down so he could listen in properly. "So... I'm a pilot. I can get the team in real good." Though he knew Poe was here, "Or be a gunner. Not so good with the old pew pew, red." Elrych Cometburn, smuggler and Jedi says in a raspy and deep tone.

The woman known as Testor is studying the holoprojector and the other woman nearby in turn, with her gaze drifting between the two whenever the picture or new information is introduced. Her arms are crossed over her armored chest, and her brows are slightly knitted closer to one another in a look of intricate study at the images before them. "So, you want us to disable the engines, board the ship, and then secure the cargo. Alright. Once we secure the cargo, what then? Wait for you to show up, liberate it from the ship, and then we all part ways from there? Or are you coming with us?" Her arms slip away from one another and her hands venture to settle on her hips, where her gloved fingers conform around the pouched belt slung around her waist. "Any intel on their numbers?"

The Zeltron known as Kaiden is there, altruistic as ever, but there are some distinct changes in the Zeltron since he's interacted with Mandalorians or civilians, or anyone outside of his hidden new career. For one, the man that was once so intoxicatingly handsome now has a very blatant scar that runs from the bottom of his sternum, up along the middle of his chest, neck, and to the bottom of his chin. "Better up close, but can use a turret mount if needed," his voice is no longer something that is alluring and melodic. Now it is graveled, rough, and hoarse, as if painful to even use. His amber stare, however, is specifically following that Mandalorian.

L'ulo was the name he had taken for this small adventure, and it'd be what he'd go by for the sake of keeping his head on his shoulders. That's suffice to say anyone even had a bounty on his head. Sometimes Poe thought he was more important than he was, but that's why he kept people like Testor around, who often reminded him how truly useless he could be, if only for the comedic value. They all had on armor, but nothing as intimidating as some of the people on the ship. Poe could recognize true warriors when he saw them, and they looked the part well enough. Poe's, ahem, L'ulo's specialty came with flying. He could fly anything, but he was handy enough with a blaster too.

Centered around for the briefing, everyone got a good look at each other. L'ulo confirmed the orders back. "Disable its flight capabilities, board it and ascertain the location of the stolen goods to be taken back." He elbowed Testor's arm slightly. "It's like I always told you.. there's only one thief, everyone else is trying to get their drek back."

Kae is well, she's borderline vibrating as she's listening to the briefing. Still she's able to be quiet... She tugs a datapad from her pocket and looks things over, before she then unhangs her backpack from her shoulder, looks through it and nods "Tools check!" She mutters, still just a veritable ball of energy here! Kae grins and re-shoulders her backpack and then checks her hip for her pistol. She then draws the Dl-30 and looks the thing over "Ummm... yeah,s o those who knows about shooting and stuff.. If I only got like 3 shots left I should just go ahead and reload right?"

Russ leans against the wall behind Narsai covered head to toe in his more plain looking suit of Mandalorian Reviver armour rather than his more ostentatious 'Mandalore' suit of armour. He tinkers idly with the holsters containing his dual sets of pistols as his helmet turns slowly to take in the others gathered to take part in the mission. It has been a long time since he has torn his attention from the surface of Mandalore and the quest to unite his people as one once again, but in this case needs must. And they cannot afford to keep losing the relief supplies desperately needed on the planet below, nor can he allow the foothold he has established vanish into the ether.

But for now he lets Narsai take the lead, she has been the face among the mercenaries and various other groups that they once had dealings with far more than he lately. And he trusts his sisters tactical and battle acumen as much as his own, particularly if the battle is to take place in the void of space. So for now he remains a silent presence just over Narsai's right shoulder.

"A suitable barrage from an ion cannon or Ion warhead should disable them long enough for the team to board and secure what we need to. Intelligence puts their number of personnel around thirty, but we believe that less than half that are armed combatants, with the rest being indentured servants or ship crew." Narsai answers, her gaze moving towards each of those asking their questions before she continues. "As much as I would like to accompany the team, I will be coordinating from our ships to ensure they don't manage to call for backup. We don't know if they have friends and we cant afford to have the supplies...or yourselves, go up with the ship in the crossfire. If need be we will take on the role of disabling the ship, but we'll also be monitoring to intercept escape pods incase they decide to dump the cargo."

A glance is given now to the other Mandalorian in the room, but she turns her gaze back to the center. "We can afford one firespray for the landing team. They'll be cramped, but they're armed and armored enough to get you landed in one piece. Any other questions?"

Elrych Cometburn shakes his head, "No... no questions. That'll do for the time being." Looks like it was going to be a rough and long road with the numbers she was saying. Despite this the Smuggler was all in. Shaded eye take a look around at the others gathered. He knew Poe, he recognized Kaiden, anyone else though was new to him. He wasn't about to blow up their spot either. "Well... let's get going then."

"I have a ship capable of taking and landing the team. I don't have ion cannons or warheads. I don't generally shoot to disable, so you taking care of that is ideal." Testor replies, and casts a glance to the few others present. She glances from the excitable woman waving her blaster around and asking about ammunition, and then switches her gaze to the music-listening, robe-wearing individual. Her gaze turns at last to the Zeltron, and then adjusts itself forward, again, to make eye contact with the leader of the operation. "Lulo and I can handle ferrying the team over. What about him?" Testor's head motions in the direction of the other armored individual in question of whether or not they'll be coming along. "Is he going to come along? Or does he also have to coordinate from here?"

The amber gaze of the Zeltron follows Narsai back and forth as she speaks, before his shoulder rises and falls in a distinct shrug that is non-comittal and easy-going. "Sounds simple enough," that hoarse and graveled voice forces out, as the man with light red skin and deep violet hair lifts himself from his seat. "Think those indentured will give us a hand or two?"

Kae grins and finally gets her blaster pistol reloaded... She then glances around "Not too terribly great with guns, but am fair with a ship's systems... Get me enough time and I can reroute things and make life difficult for the folks on board that ship." She suggests and grins slightly. She's a cheerful sort anyhow. "Am only just passable as a marksman with a pistol... barely..."

"Only fifteen huh? Shouldn't take us too long then, just need to make sure they don't have any friends in the wings waiting to take us down during the transfer. But I am sure you are more than capable of taking care of that." Russ shakes his head as he pushes of from the wall, mag-sealing his holsters again as he does so. He glances towards Testor and speaks for himself before his sister does. "I am coming along, I need to verify the cargo is all there and is what we expected it to be. Besides, I am sure you will appreciate the extra firepower." He pauses for a second before he turns back to his sister "I take it the ship is too small to just use a boarding torpedo?" His voice is deep and gruff and yet still filled with the kind of warmth that points to a deep sense of humour, even if few people get to see it.

He pauses for a moment before moving forward to stand by his sister, his obscured face turning towards Kaiden. "I wouldn't rely on anyone or anything other than the crew you go in with. Best not to rely on variables like that. And it is doubtful they have access to weapons. Just hope they stay out of the way." Finally he looks towards Kae "Normally with a skillset like that I would say lets get you to a terminal and vent the ship. But they aren't all combatants. So we will have to play it by ear."

And so the action begins! As the raider Corvette makes its way across the space, the Malachor arrives from hyperspace with its weapons at the ready. The ion cannon comes to life, hurling blue bolts of electromagnetic energy at the raider vessel.

Down in the hanger bay, the signal is given! Whomever the pilot is, they would need to make the dash between the ships and make the landing in the hanger. The rest of the team would have to be ready for the 'welcoming party' that would be waiting for them.

(Thankfully for the non-Russ', the craft was a Firespray rather than a boarding torpedo!)

Elrych Cometburn looks back over his shoulder, "I hope you guys like Jizz..." Que the loud music blasting over the PA in the ship. The ship engines whine and he blasts out the hanger with a quickness that most regular pilots would not dare. He turns sharply towards the disabled pirate craft and rockets at full sublight right towards a hatch, hanger, or docking port. The Hanger seems the best option so he enters there are full speed, using the repulsors and reverse thrusters to slow and stop the ship to come in for a semi soft landing. The compensators definitely got over worked on that one. "Okay, folks. Thank you for riding the Elrych express. We'll catch you on the ride out of here. HAve fun stormin the castle." He'll hold down the fort.

There's not much to do between one ship and the other but wait. And hold on. Testor is braced as best as she can be in the ready position to disembark as soon as they land in the hangar of the ship that's been disabled, and it is not an easy landing. Still, it's not one that ends up with their destruction or the ship smashing into something, so any landing at that point is better than none. Smacking the control to deploy the Firespray's ramp, Testor gazes into the alien interior that she's yet to see to try and find some cover. After spotting some, she realizes that she's going to essentially be the bait that draws fire for everyone else to get off the ship. Sucking in a breath, she puts her booted feet to the deck before she can get nervous about it.

When she goes, she goes. Blitzing down the ramp, Testor puts full work into crossing the distance to get into cover. She tries to think about anything but getting shot, and so keeps her eyes glued to the deck in front of her. When she makes it to a stack of crates on a palette, she doesn't care about smacking into it, because there's no way to slow without making herself a more vulnerable target. And, now, she's in a position to provide some covering fire.

Kaiden pulls on his gloves, glancing toward Russ aboard the ship as the electricity sparks to life around the hand equipment. "Kade. You're Russ? Don't think we met more than once before. Used to hang out with Narsai more," he explains with a roll of his shoulder, "Think she forgot me," he claims with a light chuckle, the sound grating and each vocals sounding twisted as if once they were nice to hear once. The ship lands, the ramp extends, and he's out like a bullet after Testor. Except, as melee a fighter as he, he's not running for cover, he's sprinting right at the enemy, in the good ol' tried and tested.

At the breaching point and ready to pour out, Poe takes a moment to adjust the buttstock of his weapon, increasing its length by pressing the latch down. This unlocked the buttstock, and Poe stretched it to its maxed length until it locked in place firmly. Pressing the weapon's buttstock to his shoulder then, he waited at the low ready, prepared to follow the team down the ramp and engage. They had not established positive ID yet, and that could be the welcoming party? One could hope.

After the first two go, Poe (L'ulo) is moving down the ramp too. He maintains his control over the weapon he's carrying, pulling the sling taught while keeping the rifle diagonally across his torso until he is behind cover. Like Testor, he follows her and slides behind the cover she's managed for herself. He uses that moment to glance underneath their ship or the area behind it for possible ambush.

Kae follows the rest! She stumbles just a bit after exiting the ramp and making a turn, her hand dropping to the ground for balance, the other of course still clinging to her blaster pistol. Kae is then upright again, running hard for cover... As she gets close she dives/belly-flop-slides behind a stack of crates and out of sight for now, where she rolls over onto her back and takes a deep breath. "Sooo gotta get Kisa to go over the finer points of ground trooping..." She mutters to her self.

Kae then sits upright and peeks over the crates at the enemy soldiers and such... "Ummm, just who do I shoot at first." She mutters, and ducks down a bit before she calls out "Someone give me a target? I'm new to this!"

Russ looks towards Kaiden as he speaks to him, he didn't give his name but it isn't so unusual that someone would know of him even if he is outside of his more ostentatious armour. Plenty have seen him in his combat suit before. He loosens his weapons in their holsters before sweeping them up into his hands as the ramp starts to descend and people start to scream past him into the chaos that is a hostile landing. He speaks quietly to himself the vocalizers in his helmet barely picking it up. "And here we go." He starts forward, slower than the others his pistols raised and blazing with violent crimson light.

Trust in the Beskar'gam and hopefully it will keep him alive. Blasters fly wildly in the chaos of the hanger bay, but Russ is calm. His pistols track one target the dual weapons blazing away ripping his targets chest apart in a violent display of burnt flesh. And then he switches the two barrels of his pistols locking on another target before dropping him, flame and liquified brain expolding from tyhe back of his skull. Battle is now truly joined.

And so the firefight begins. Russ' blazing assault drops the target number from six to four, but the raider crew is quick to return fire. Bolts slam into the cover taken by Jessica and Poe, scorching the surface but leaving the pair unharmed. One marksman however manages to tag the red-skinned Kaiden as he's not quite quick enough with a solid hit. Russ finds himself targeted by the heavier armed and armored man, but the Raider's rifle narrowly misses the blazing Mandalorian between the river of Mandaltech death he lays down.

Elrych Cometburn stands up from the pilot's seat and makes his way back towards the ramp once the others rush off. He stands there, pulling his 718 and making sure no-one gets the dumb idea of coming aboard their getaway if things go south. And yes, the music is still blasting through the intercom, even into the hanger a bit.

Once most of the team has gotten into cover and another has strolled down the ramp and calmly emptied blaster fire into their ranks, Testor peeks from back around the crates to isolate one of the waiting combatants in her sights. The blaster she raises is one with a familiar silhouette, but it's a newer model than the more classic, Smuggler go to. Adjusting her sights so the front post is centered on the mass of the one she's aiming at, Testor squeezes, not pulls, the slim curve of the durasteel weapon's trigger. The smell of ozone fills the air as the bolt lances across the room and leaves a smoking hole in the combatant's sternum, killing him outright and spilling him onto the floor around his comrades in a heap. "One down, Lulo. Give Kade some supporting fire!"

Kaiden is a trained martial artist, with both of his hands covered into those electric shock gloves. That being said, he doesn't really look like one at the moment -as he closes the distance to one of the remaining mercenaries, he lashes out with two consecutive strikes. Fist, fist, but it is likely by sheer luck, or perhaps he really has a distinct lack of skill, because his opponent manages to duck and backpedal just enough to remain out of the way of the oncoming punches.

Poe watches Testor get up and drop one, albeit he didn't know her efforts had resulted in a kill until she relayed that. Hearing her direction, he adjusted and leveled his rifle across the top of their cover. "Got it!" Looking through the sight, it is easy to spot the crazy Zeltron, and the target he's after. When the target ducks and weaves, avoiding the powerful swings, Poe tags him in the shoulder with a devastating rifle blast. Then Poe was dipping back down for cover. "That should help some!"

Kae peeks up from behind her crate, tongue sticking out of the corner of her mouth as she lines up a shot. She sucks the tongue in of course, then squeezes off the shot, the girl missing the Merc's head wide right... "Rats!" She calls out, snapping her fingers before hugging a bit tighter to the box... "Ya know it looks lots easier in the holovids!" she mutters, then checks her pistol... "9 mmore shots..." She mutters.

Russ grunts as he continues down the ramp, blaster bolts splattering the ramp around him others glancing off his armour as the expertly forged Beskar'gam fulfills its purpose. His pistols trace towards the more heavily equipped mercenary that was targeting him before he waves off as Kaiden engages him in fistcuffs and Poe flanks from the side with his heavy blaster rifle. He lets out a heavy breath as he reaches the bottom of the ramp, the other two then.

He ducks his head to the side as another blaster bolt flies past, not quite willing to trust his armour that much. And then his pistols blaze again. Two more of the opponents getting shredded by the fat bolts of high velocity plasma, flesh searing away from bone in a chilling display of expertly applied violence. He blinks an eye in a quick pattern to switch comm channels to the command channel Narsai is monitoring. "Hanger is about secured. Any sign of interference?"

With a wound in his shoulder and his men gunned down around him, the leader of the boarder repelling team manages a lucky shot into the armored Mandalorian who shoots down the pair of mooks beside him. He's falling back, bleeding from his wounds while running for the access door at the rear of the hanger. While he won't turn his back, there's far too many targets for him to suppress with his weapon during the desperate flight.

Over the command channel, Narsai's voice comes through. Her tone is even, but the lack of reported casualties on their side? Certainly a relief. "None so far. They may not realise what they're dealing with. Secure the bridge if you can, or get the cargo off if you can't. And all of you? Don't die."

Noticing the others dropping, Testor spies the more heavily armed member of the repellers trying to slip back away from them. Her barrel snaps to him, and she once again applies pressure to the trigger of her weapon until its discharge surprises her. The bolts zip by, but only just, narrowly missing their target. "He's falling back towards the entrance. Let's try to not let him seal the hangar. I don't think we'll like it if he pulls it off. Don't let me down, Lulo." She's saying it as she leans back in against the crate she's been braced against and using for cover, while adjusting her gaze to slip to the dark-haired man with his rifle on a sling sharing the same cover as she is.

Kaiden finds the man he was trying to hit blasted; his gaze slides toward that captain! The biggun, he means, and the Zeltron crosses that distance swiftly. With full force, he ejects another two swings, still hitting nothing but air. The man leans out of the way of the first, fluidly sidestepping the second.

Poe popped back up as Testor ducked behind their cover. Motivated by her statement, he takes a look through the sight and tries to line up a shot. His sight bounces between Kaiden and his final target. When he shoots, it's a glorious miss. "Damn! I jerked the trigger." He takes aim again, trying to line a shot up.

Russ grunts right as his transmission cuts out, a blast sneaking through his guard hitting him square in the joint of his shoulder guard searing the flesh through the armour and padding beneath. He grits his teeth through the pain, his pistols swinging back towards the last standing hanger bay guard. He fires each pistol once, the first flying past his left hip before the second slams through his eye socket finally dropping him to the ground. "Guess he really didn't like me killing his friends like that, bantha fucker that hurts." He flexes his shoulder. It is far from the first time he has been shot, but you don't really get used to it.

"Alright, let’s get moving. Let me take the lead. Corridor fighting like this, armour makes all the difference." He clearly isn't too eager for it, ship clearing is a brutal and bloody affair even if he and his supercommandos specialise heavily in it. His voice is tense and terse both with purpose and pain as he presses forward, keeping one ear tuned to the command channel shared with Narsai.

"You good?" Testor asks Lulo, but spot checks him, nonetheless, in a search for any outward signs he's been somehow hit. She hadn't heard any yelps in the middle of combat, but that doesn't mean anything. A precursory glance doesn't reveal much, and Testor steps out from behind the crates to begin moving towards the access point the last of the defense crew had been moving towards before he'd been dropped. "Everyone else alright?" No longer in a defensive position, Testor's left hand has curled about her right in a strong brace, and her elbows remain bent, keeping her weapon tucked close to her body while the barrel is trained on the floor in front and to her left side. To prevent any accidental discharges, her finger rides along the trigger guard rather than inside of it.

All her questions are asked en route, however, because she's quickly adopting second position in the team that begins advancing through the hallways. She covers the left side of the corridor, keeping her gaze and focused trained on the bulkheads and anyone that might be stepping out from behind them while allowing others to worry about the other directions. The armored guy up front can watch their twelve, and whoever brings up the rear can watch their six. As they approach the intersection, Testor slips closer to the left side of the junction, and tries to peer down that way. "Port corridor is..." Her weight presses in against her shoulder, and her armor slightly grinds against the side of the wall as her face ever so slowly edges out around the bulkhead, so she goes from seeing nothing but the bulkhead strut to the lifts beyond. "Clear. Looks like recent movement. They've probably got defensive positions on the bridge, and who knows if they can lock those lifts off once we try to go up."

Kaiden nods and sounds the affirmative to the question of their health, "No losses," he reports in that gravelly voice, his position on the rear and following up their six. The gloves are taken off for this, his pistol quickly pulled from its holster simply due to his position, able to at least be able to fire off suppressing fire if anyone comes up behind them. "We got someone who can use a terminal? Otherwise I could try sweet-talking one of the crew."

"I've been worse off." Poe answers Testor with a contagious smile. When she straightens up to move, he does the same but chicken-wings the buttstock of his weapon to casually angle his rifle downward. He moves after Testor then pauses for the walking tank, Russ to take point. To answer Kaiden, Poe speaks up," I've been known to seduce a computer or two in my time." He's being modest.

Kae stands up, peeking out from behind the boxes curiously... She then walks over to the others and looks around curiously "Umm if you got something for me to do, I can try to bypass terminals.. If mebbe I can get to engineering I might can shut off the bridge's controls... Just tell me kinda what you want done..." She adds and rubs at the back of her neck. "Just have my engineering tools... I can possibly help with the computer too if we can get one of their datapads... Maybe.. I'm still a lil raw around the edges when it comes to breaking into and taking over a ship..." Kae then taps her chin.. "Umm this is kinda my first time." She adds and smiles. "but I'm an ok engineer, so maybe?"

Russ moves towards the bridge after a moment of hesitation. The cargo hold may contain the primary objective at least for him, but that still leaves them control of the ship, hell they may even try and vent them into space as long as they maintain control of the bridge. As he moves he holsters one of his pistols and dips his hand into one of his pouches to produce a very distinctive weapon a Thermal detonator. "If anyone needs this ship’s bridge in one piece speak now. Because this ship is roughly the size of the Malachor with a not unsimilar design. I can guess the length of time it will take the lift to reach the bridge. This should punch of a hole in some of their defences and maybe even rupture the hull. It will seal off the bridge to contain atmosphere but should still leave the cargo bay open, no longer under their control. And it means we don't have to walk directly into a waiting shit storm." He pauses for a moment. "And I can always get in there if we need, my armour is sealed."

"Didn't you say there are unarmed crew on the ship? That probably includes the bridge. You wanna kill them by getting them vented into space? 'Cause I'm not okay with that." Testor remains braced against the bulkhead strut she'd peeked around to check whether or not the port corridor was clear. "I say we let the techie take a crack at getting into the ship systems and shutting everything off from their control. That way, if necessary, we can avoid senseless casualties. I get that they may be entrenched up there, but.." Testor shrugs. Her dark gaze adjusts to each member of the assembled team, looking for other opinions and trying to discern whether or not her own thoughts are harmonizing with anyone else at the same time.

Kaiden nods toward Testor, "Yeah, not their choice to be on here, as far as I can tell. If worst comes to worst, we can do that, but," the gravelled voice is pained, harrowed, and hoarse from the scar as Kaiden speaks, "I can't abide not even trying to save who we can."

"Let's find a computer, seal the bridge, and turn off the gravity. If we can move the objective out in bits and pieces while keeping the personnel at bay, you guys can just take control of the ship, cargo, and wait until you receive an unconditional surrender from the crew. No one likes being out of control, and if they have to choose between being locked up dying or facing the music and possibly living, they'll choose living." Poe keeps his weapon at the low ready.

Kae ummms... "Well we can always drop oxygen in the room till it forces them unconcious. Don't have to completely vent it folks... Raise the nitrogen count in there too and they won't know it's happening till they pass out... Then we restabilize, rush in and tie em up." She says and taps her chin "Again, that is all predicated on me getting into a terminal somewhere and cracking into the atmospheric systems..." She says and hmmms... "The droid." She motions to Poe's droid "Can probably help too... We can also shut gravity down on them too if you likes... I just need an access crawlway... and time... A lil help too would be good..."

Kae looks around and peers at the droid. She then studies the hangar and grins "There's an access in here..." She mutters and with that, all but skitters over to a wall, tracing down it with a finger, before shoving some crates aside... Her shoving the crates is rather comical as initial shoving she doesn't mmove em too well. She then throws her back against it and pushes, before the crates suddenly shift, causing her to lose her balance and land on her backside with a squeak.

She then looks over at an almost invisible panel, and tugs a few tools out of her pocket. The girl shoves the tool into a small opening at the corner, twists, then pushes down on the end, causing each corner to let go in kind, before she moves the panel away..

Kae then grins and motions to a socket "There ya go, BB." She says cheerfully as she begins removing another panel, which shows a narrow crawl space... Next the woman climbs up inside it, with her tool bag on her belly, where she begins pulling tools and working into another access port... "See if you can't isolate the computer's command codes, when you do, I can shunt the bridge's controls into here... And basically eliminate all control there..." she says to the BB, talking to the droid as she would a normal person.

After a short while she says "Okie all set up on my end! Soon as you isolate those codes, the whole thing will activate and shut em out."

Russ hums for a moment "I was thinking that they would keep the bridge firmly under their control but you are right there may well be innocents up their, hell some may have retreated there during the firefight. While some casualties may be unavoidable I am not a cold blooded murderer." He acknowledges Testor with a small nod of his head. He clicks off the thermal detonator before returning it to his pouch, his helmet swiveling towards the more technically minded of the team. "Guess it is up to them now. It has been a long time since I have got to work alongside a capable slicer." He claps Kae on the shoulder with an armoured gauntlet, probably a little harder than he meant to with the adrenaline pumping through his system while giving a nod to Poe. "A good plan."

He stands to the side as he waits for the confirmation. Once he has it he smiles and reaches up to remove his helmet, running his scarred hand through his short hair to clear it of the gathered sweat even the short combat had guaranteed. "Good work everyone. While you are in the system, try and get into the cameras. Make sure there are no more nasty surprises waiting for us and then we can secure the cargo, take the ship and chalk up a solid win."

It was difficult to know what was going on in the bridge, but to be fair? The crew and raiders on the bridge didn't really know what was going on either! This wasn't just Ion damage, their controls and their systems were just...bricked. Now they were all trapped in a cell with a view. It would be a few minutes before shouting, arguing and panic, but the fight was over for the time being. Loading up the cargo would be childs play with the rest of the security cut off or outright locked in a box!

From the Malachor, communication comes: there's no cavalry for the raiders coming. Steal from everyone and noone will be your friend! For the Mandalorians, the Resistance and general 'good guys'? The day is a win.

"Whatever Lulo and I were going to make out of this, give it to the refugees along with the supplies. Tell 'em the Resistance is out there trying to help. That's all the payment we need." Testor's gaze shifts to her blaster, ensuring that when her thumb shifts, it flicks the safety back into place so she can re-holster it on her right hip. Turning from there, she moves closer to the Zeltron, Kade, and reaches out to settle a hand on his shoulder. "You gotta stop getting hurt. You gonna be okay? That looks pretty serious.." She's spying where he's been hit, and wincing from the looks of it. "I think you need to rethink your battle plan, maybe." Testor moves off from there, heading back to the hangar so she can reboard the ship that brought them over in preparation to leave.

Kaiden runs his hand through his deep violet locks, letting them crest over his amber eyes thereafter above a boyish glint of a grin that contrasts his almost veteran-looking scars. His wound is superficial, hand nonchalantly clamped over it, knowing full well he hardly impressed anyone, but also with the knowledge differences were being made and he is a part of it. A nod is given for Testor's words in agreement, before dismissive to her words of concern, "Just taking me a bit longer to get good in a blaster fight, is all," he shrugs off. His gaze flits back to Russ, "Hey? Tell Narsai I miss her, yeah? She was my best friend." It is short; brevity and professionalism having him keep from waiting for a reply, as he turns away to follow after Testor and L'ulo or whatever he calls himself.

BB-8 had successfully helped, and he was happy to say he had control once the computer portion of the hack was completed. Poe knelt beside him laughing. "Yeah? Good work, pal!" Poe is happy with the turn of events, and with things falling into place, it was just a matter of moving the objective and setting the Mandalorians up for success. When Testor says her peace about the creds, Poe agrees. "Yeah, put them to good use. The Resistance sends its regards." Poe gave them a salute and adjusted his blaster by its sling to rest against his lower back while he walked with Testor. "You know, you're not so bad in a blaster fight. It wasn't like Megalock, but still.." Poe lifts his fist up to Kaiden to dap. "Looking good, man." He smiled.

Kae well, she's happy! It's a job well done! Then she's clapped on the shoulder by the Mandalorian. There's a big grin from the youthful, over-exuberant, and well energetic Sephi. Followed by a blink, she reaches up to the shoulder after he lets go, another blink, then an outright two armed flail! "Ayee! That stung!" She calls out before pausing a moment. She looks to the fellow who clapped her on the shoulder and smiles "Sorry, no insult intended! Thanks! I'm just glad I was able to contribute more than missed blaster fire!"

She then smiles and gives a thumbs up to BB-8. And well more flails, perhaps happy ones when/if BB-8 does the whole torch thumbs up thing back! She really enjoys BB droids... Ok so she enjoys all droids for that matter. Kae soon gets her self to her feet, checks to see all her tools are in her possession and glances around "Soo I wonder when they're gonna surrender in that bridge." She mutters quietly... She then smiles to everyone around and while poking at her slightly sore shoulder wanders toward the cargo to help load it, and when done, of course climbs into the ship.

BB-8 (Astromech Droid - 888) Pauses to watch all parties for a moment and witnesses their departures. The job is complete and to show his own appreciation for the work BB=8 angles his head up toward Kaelyn and ejects his arm igniting the torch at the end to gesture a thumbs up. Then he turns to roll after Poe.

"Good to see the Resistance is finally willing to step in and help, it is a shame more people within the resistance didn't think like you do before Starkiller." Russ shakes his head slightly towards Testor and Lulo as he pushes off from the wall getting ready to head down to inspect the cargo, thoughts now running through his head of the alliance he had once tried to forge before it all fell through because the sins of the ancestor could not be forgiven. He looks towards Kade as his wound is inspected. "There is a bacta tank aboard the Malachor, feel free to take the first dip. I can bear with this for a while." He gives Kaiden a quick rather flick of his fingers in salute as he is asked to speak to his sister.

He lets out a small sigh as he tries to calm down, the adrenalin still spiking through his body before he finally arrives in the cargo bay and begins to prep it all for transfer will documenting what is there, what is extra and what is missing. Finally he leaps up atop a tall crate and waits for the oncoming Malachor, it was only a minor skirmish but it was good to shake off the cobwebs.
