Resistance: The Greater Good

OOC Date: March 28, 2018
Location: Apado
Participants: Kaiden, Ektor, Raziel Dracos, The Resistance and Pennywise ST

The hits keep on coming, but the Resistance, what remains, is still standing. The mission tonight lands the group in the city of Apado, on the the fourth moon of Kikar. This is a mining city, so it is filled with droids and industrialized buildings. It's a pretty discreet mission and well, they are robbing a warehouse, so it's best to not be too much of a stand out.

There's a few people that were on the ship that have worn old long coats over their armor and things like that. Covering it up, but still being protected. "Alright, listen up!" a tall Chiss barks from the back as they push their way forward. "This is a civilian warehouse we are hitting. Our orders are to not kill civilians. We don't need a cluster. So set your weapons to stun. Anything else and you'll be meeting me in a dark place later." the red eyed woman looks over each of them. "Everyone understand?" they ask.

Raziel is there in his armor, blaster in hand and set to stun, coat worn over his armor to help him blend in better. Eyes locked onto the red-eyed Chiss Woman who marches through the middle of everyone, giving orders that no civilians are dying today, eyes with that big smile.

"Understood ma'am." Raziel says then, looking around at his brothers and sisters in arms, taking a deep breath. "Let's do our thing."

Ektor-Xer Apollyon powers down the landing craft, mutters to Tenner, "Lock it up tight, yeah?" The Chiss and her barked orders get an uneven nod and muttered, "I hear you," That said, the pilot rubs his nose and sniffs as he turns an eye around their location. Raziel says that last and is answered, "Yeah, what he said. Tenner, C'mon," he summons the droid.

"Well, I'm not so good at killing people, so I don't think that's a problem," The tall, deep-purple-haired Zeltron says within his fiber jumpsuit, layered with fiber plating that's embedded into the weave of the attire itself, his pheromones easily within his proximity and superficially alluring features at a bit of a cocky grin. Just a tad. One of the traits of being a Zeltron, that seemingly unnatural physical attractiveness, and he steps into line after the red-eyed Chiss, "What, uh, should we tell them anyway? The civilians, I mean."

The tall Chiss woman gives a nod and then there's a look to another man that is with them, "Let's move out." she states. Then Kaiden is speaking to her and there's just a blank look, "I've noticed." she muses flatly. "Don't tell them anything. You stun them or you leave them be. Don't talk to them. Don't kill them." she states. With that, her hood is pulled up and then she's heading out the back with the rest of the detachment they have.

With the briefing given, another Lieutenant takes over for the main group, this one a human male, standing about six feet in height with blonde hair, "The Warehouse isn't far. We landed here so it wouldn't be hard to get the things back to the ship." he tells the men.

Raziel grins softly then to Ektor before his eyes fall again on the Tall Chiss, standing ups traight and following her lead. Weapon leaned against his shoulder as he keeps his eyes peeled for anything out of the ordinary that would -REALLY- scew them over. but hey....there's always hope!

That's what that symbol means...It's not an-Oh wait, never mind. Anyway, Raziel is decked out right now, looking around before his eyes lock onto the tall dude with the supposedly perfect hair. "Sounds good."

Ektor wanders along with the troopers as the group moves out. One benefit of his chronic slouch is that no one would mistake him for a military man, once out of uniform. Idly noting the new officer with a lazy nod, he turns his eye over Kaiden and Raziel. "You two don't look much like miners. We see a puddle of grime on the way there, maybe roll around in it a bit, yeah?" A low chuckle follows the suggestion.

Kaiden waits until the tall Chiss that mused flatly at him turns her back before he rolls his eyes, doubting his desire to be here already not only by the lack of vocal interaction and officers' reproach, but also their sheer surroundings. A mine? Ektor's slouched figure chuckles with a suggestion that the Zeltron comprehends only afterward, and his face grimaces, "You ever heard of a grimy Zeltron?" The man's intoxicating voice offers, but he rolls a shoulder coolly, "They might think I'm some sort of supervisor or desk-jockey on an errand." Though, if they weren't supposed to speak to the civilians he's a bit hesitant that others might stumble across whomever is stunned. He mutters. as he intends to follow the group.

Thankfully these guys won't have to deal with that mean old Chiss First Lieutenant, as they are taking a group to the back of the Warehouse. The other Lieutenant however is taking their main group to the front of the warehouse. "Any of you good with computers?" he asks as he looks to them. "Because we might need to have a few words with a system. Unless you brought your droid along?" he looks back over his shoulder.

Raziel shakes his head. "Nah, I think I'm good." he chuckles back to Ektor, having to respect the humor there. It was well played! Either way, his eyes turn now to their present commander, shaking his head. "I'm no good unless you want it shot." he shrugs hten. He's more combat oriented! and flying. flying too.

"Buddy, there ain't a race in this galaxy above grime," Ektor drawls to Kaiden, with a wry curl to his lip. "And there damn sure ain't anybody in a mine above grime, yeah? Except the kinda folk who don't belong in a mine. Don't worry, red: your hands'll get dirty soon enough, yeah?" The lieutenant is answered idly, "Tenner's right here. We need a chat with a computer, he can handle it, yeah?" A flat squawk from the droid follows his words.

The Zeltron shakes his head, "Don't look at me, I can talk, but computers don't listen to me," he says easily, before his gaze slides back toward Ektor with a scrutinizing stare. "Suppose you're right," he resigns to the other, "Tell me if you see one."

Ektor-Xer Apollyon leans a shoulder against the soot streaked walls of the warehouse as they arrive. "Tenner, c'mere," he bids the droid, who chirps once and deploys a jack to the computer terminal placed beside the doors. "Make sure we don't trip nothing, yeah?" he mumbles to the astromech as Tenner begins work. A blunt squawk is made moments later, followed by a trill and the doors pop open without trouble. "No lie? Good work, little guy,and the " Ektor answers, with brows raised. A shrug, and glance back to the others. "There was a security protocol up, but Tenner bypassed it, clean. We're in, let's go."

Lieutenant Riley watches Tenner roll up and work his little droid magic on the door and when it opens there's a low whistle. "Nice job." he agrees with that. Then he's leading everyone in. Thanks to the droid, no alarms were tripped. So there's no angry people to greet them. Now it's up to them to make sure everyone stays quiet and makes sure that nothing gets dropped or no one gets silly.

Raziel looks at the droid 'Tenner' and he grins a bit. "Not bad, not bad at all." he nods to the little guy before following the Lieutenant, looking around as they are given a...considerably...warm welcome. That said? He just shrugs. "This is going smoother than I thought it would...."

The Zeltron frowns -things seem to be going /too/ easy. He didn't like it one bit, and thus remains silent as he follows Riley with the other two (plus droid). Briefly, however, his steps wane, ebb, and cease in order to smack some dirt on his face and muss up his hair.

"That's the spirit, Red," Ektor commends Kaiden with a broad, crooked grin. He claps the Zeltron on one shoulder in passing, trailed by the R2 unit. "Keep eyes out for a load lifter, so's we can do this all in one go, yeah?" he mutters to Raziel.

So far so good right?! The team is loading things up into the ship when it's signalled that the doors are safe to open. But where are all these miners? Their warehouse is locked up tight and it's night. That means someones probably off having a drink.

Raziel's words haven't flitted off on the wind when there's the sound of staggering footsteps in the dirt behind them and the smell of alcohol fills the air behind the group that came in the main way, "Oy. What the shavit is going on here?!" a growling voice asks. Followed by the sound of a few other drunken fools.

"Hey, what're you guys doing back so soon, and I can smell the booze fro-" But a bright blue blaster bolt screams by as it strikes one of the miners, "Dammit," the Zeltron curses, as he leaps at the nearest miner. Glove up, it's a one-two combo and KO, both strikes landing true, either side of the jaw jarred and causing the guy to land heavily on his back.

Raziel fires off two shots of a stun blast, downing whoever came at him! He blows at his weapon, grinning a bit as he keeps the weapon in his hand, cracking his neck. "Boom." he whispers softly then with a big smile. God damn he was good.

Ektor turns toward the returning drunks. Kaiden looks to be trying a con- shoot or not shoot? The moment he sees Raziel stir for his blaster, the Tionese pilot follows suit, drawing and firing a stun bolt at the trio, but narrowly missing. Tenner- being the smart one- warbles, sounding almost disappointed as he rolls to hide behind a crate.

Well, we're going to shoot it seems! "Z, get that stuff packed up and get your ass on the ship. We're behind you!" Lieutenant Riley yells over to the other group as the shots ring out. The mans blaster is set to stun, but he is so close that the blue bolt is nearly blinding when he does take his target down. "Make a run for the ship. I'll cover us!" he shouts as he starts to wave them off towards the entrance where they came. The private that is with them is already out the door to make sure the way is cleared. What fun!

"Shit, shit-shit-shit," the Zeltron cusses, twisting about and moving toward the cargo, "We shoulda talked," the man mutters under his breath. A twist has him grasping a handle of one of the crates, one side of it at least, for someone else to grab the other side. "Let's move."

Raziel nods softly then as as orders are given, looking around as he chuckles. "That's what I get for opening my mouth." a sigh then before he runs across, letting the Lieutenant cover the group as he said he would. "Let's go!"

"I usually get along so good with drunks-" Ektor complains as they hurry things up. "Tenner, c'mon! You already wiped the cameras, yeah?" A rude honk answers him as the droid rolls full speed along after the crate-carrying, frantically running Ektor. "Lower the ramp, lower the ramp, lower the ramp!" he hollers aloud, once their ship comes into view. He's already running through ways to hasten takeoff, in his head.
