Saber Squadron gathers for a debrief on upcoming missions.

OOC Date: January 19, 2022
Location: Chandrila, Saber Squadron Hangar
Participants: Ambrosia Greystorm, Ax, Calista Alastair, Ewan Eroh, Jax Greystorm, as Self/GM, Kael Greystorm, Karas Darkwing, Nerys Greystorm, Vega, Vhe Tenara, Zandra naMuriel

[ Jax Greystorm (Jax)]

Saber Squadron's briefing room as it was well a corner of the hanger. A couple rows of chairs set up in a semi circle face a crate with a holoprojector set up on it. Over to one side was a table stacked with boxes of pastries and a couple of different pots of caf set perking It wasn't fancy but it was probably better than what some of the rebels had. Though the technicians had knocked off working on the fighters in the hanger the place was relatively quiet. There was no dramatic entrance for Jax. The corellian squad leader was sipping from a cup of caf and waiting for everyone to show up. Looking around for a moment, "Alright guys, I think this is it. Please find a seat. Thanks for showing up. Like anything we do this is going to be a bit more informal. So if you got questions. Don't be afraid to ask. I don't want you sitting there confused. Though I do asks that nothing we discuss leaves this hanger. Especially this meeting."

[ Zandra naMuriel (Zan)]

Zandra comes from the landing pad, just in time to hear Jax's words. She grins, settling into a seat gracefully. The violet haired young jedi laughs outright at the end of Jax's introduction. "Sure thing, boss," she teases lightly. "I'll just make sure that some of those pastries leave the hangar when I do. And by the way, very nice hat. I approve."

[ Ax (A)]

Ax takes a seat, his BB-series droid following along and coming to a halt next to Saber 3's chosen chair. Plopping down, his own steaming mug of caf in hand, Ax crosses his feet out in front of him to get comfortable. At Zan's words, Ax chuckles a bit. "You got it, boss. No talking of this outside the hangar."

[ Nerys Greystorm (Nerys)] Nerys, who had arrived a bit early, and found herself a seat, looked up from her datapad, as she caught sight of the squadron beginning to come in in drips and drabs. They'd be fully formed soon enough. And so, the datapad was tucked away, and when Jax called them to order, her attention was on her squadron leader, "As you say," offered in agreement as he mentioned that whatever they were intended to discuss did not leave the room.

[ Kael Greystorm (Kent)]

Kael heads into the hangar at the tail end of Jax's little introduction and nods as he heads over to take a seat near Nerys, "No talkin bout this meeting outside of this meeting. Is that the first rule of Saber Squadron?" He grins a bit as he lounges in the chair for once not in heavier armors as he's moved into a lighter setup.

[ Calista Alastair (Cali)]

Having never been here before, Captain Alastair is shown the way to the hangar by one of the technicians. With a polite, quiet thank you, she easily finds herself over to where the half-circle of chairs are flanking the holoprojector and, from there, finds the man that called the meeting in the first place. "Master Greystorm," Calista greets in a crisp, accented voice. 'Maester Gooray-sterm.' Dressed in the uniform designating her a ranking officer of the New Republic military, she is here on duty and certainly not for a pleasurable tour of the shoreline. A brief shake of Jax's hand and she setps to the side rather than sitting to observe the briefing.

[ Vhe Tenara (Vhe)]

Vhe has been absent for some time but the colorful eccentric has finally returned. Her wild hair restrained away from her face in a colorful wrap. She slides into the hangar, trying to keep a low profile since her arrival was rather late.

She smiles faintly to those who look their way before finding a spot for herself with the others. The Ysanna smooths her tunic and folds her arms as she listens, remaining quiet so as not to interrupt.

[ Ewan Eroh (Arrow)]

Ewan didn't limp nearly as much, but, for some reason he still carried the cane with him. Though he leaned on it, it seemed more for sport than for anything else. Damn Echani, trying out a new look wasn't covered in their salaries. His eyes studied those gathered, as he slipped into a seat behind Nerys. For clearly no reason whatsoever.

[ Vega (Veg)]

Vega's done her last checks and final adjustments to one of the fighters when she saw others gathering. Oh right! There's a meeting tonight. The white haired woman crawls down from the ladder and is greeted by her BB unit who rolls across her toes,

"Come on, Round One, I just got those." she whispers to him as she dusts her boots off. She finds the outer robe to her robes where she'd hung it up and then heads over to find a seat.

[ Karas Darkwing (Kar)]

Karas has been keeping up his flight hours and his training, though to him honestly things haven't been that great for him. Karas does make it to the briefing on time, and he does find a place to sit and as he does he sits more to the back, his datapad rests on his lap as he waits for the briefing to start.

[ Jax Greystorm (Jax)]

Jax found himself being greated by Captain Alastair, he returned her handshake and smiled, "Captain Alastair. Welcome, Feel free to take a seat. There's plenty of pastries and caf." Jax reaching up to pull the warm life day hat off and tossing it to Exine, his R2 unit. The droid caught it then stashed the hat in it's central compartment. Jax laughed, "Just trying to keep you on your toes."

Then he sits the cup of caf down and leans against the crate. "Alright down to business. What can I say when you're popular you're popular. We've had three requests that we need to take serious. The New Republic has asked us to look into an incident, Rey has asked us to look into something else, and Lady Redfire's pirate problem is back. This is going to lead to assignments divided to different Flights then the Squadron responding as a whole when needed. I'll get to why Captain Calistra Alastair of the Pantheon is here. But please feel free to welcome her and introduce yourself."

[ Zandra naMuriel (Zan)]

Introduce ... Zandra wrinkles her nose momentarily, and then she stands up. Not too tall, this one, but she doesn't seem to let that stop her. Zandra na'Muriel, Guardian flight lead, Saber 5, also for some strange reason called Trigger. Or Violet." A pause, as the last one really just speaks to her hair colour. "A pleasure to meet you, ma'am." She did leave the jedi out of that, but it might well be assumed, given she's wearing robes and has a lightsaber clipped at her waist.

[ Nerys Greystorm (Nerys)]

Nerys, neatly bracketed between her work husband, that would be Ewan behind her, and her husband husband, Kael, beside her, had all of her backup covered and on lock, as the naval officer made her way into the squadron's domain. Having never much engaged with the new republic's forces save for the civilian ground forces, the face was new to her. But, Nerys was friendly and polite as ever, "Nerys Greystorm, Saber 10, callsign Break."

[ Ax (A)]

"We met the other night," Ax says towards Jax and Cali. "Though, not formally, as I was just tagging along with Jax." He raises his mug of caf, "I'm Axilon, or just Ax. Callsign, Squint. Saber 3," he says. Looking back to Jax. "I guess this has something to do with what went down the other day? Was a bit of a fun little party."

[ Kael Greystorm (Kent)]

Kael looks over at the officer and offers her a wave, "Kael Greystorm, Saber 11. Still no callsign because I'm just bland that way. Also part of the Republic Commandos."

[ Vhe Tenara (Vhe)]

Vhe waits and lifting her hand into the air gives a nod to Calista, "Vhe Tenara, Saber 4 of no callsign." Kael gets a nod and a grin before she settles back into obscurity for the moment, glad to listen to what is to come in their near future.

[ Ewan Eroh (Arrow)]

Ewan was sort of an odd-man out, neither wearing his robes or his flightsuit. He was dressed in more simple clothing, comfortable but trustworthy. Gotta have trustworthy clothing. A nod is given when too many eyes fall to him, "'Clutch', Saber Nine. Ewan," he adds with a final phrasing that suggested he almost didn't. He eyes the Pantheon's captain a moment, before looking towards Vega.

[ Karas Darkwing (Kar)]

Karas looks to Calista and nods his head to her. He listens about there being three missions ahead of him. "So the briefing will discuss what each mission is and suggestions on which Flight will be assigned to each?" he asks. Jax, Zan and Ax know Karas from plenty of squadrons, mainly Jax so this is up his alley for lines of questions to ask. When informed that they shoould introduce themselves, he looks to Callista, "Hello Ma'am." he says as he stands up, he has a lazy posture to him since not having his commission being reupped from the NR. "I'm Karas Darkwing, formerly of the Resistance and New Republic, I've been assigned to multiple squadrons, since the early days of the Resistance of Spark, Red, CO of Blue Squadron, reassigned back to Red Squadron, then promoted to Black Squadron. When the New Republic reinstated itself, my commission cleared and I as apart of the Famed Rogue Squadron, and now I'm in the Best Squadron that's out there and that's Saber Squadron." he smiles. "Nice ta meet ya." he sits back down.

[ Calista Alastair (Cali)]

Calista acknowledges the invitation to sit, but the tuck of her hands against the small of her back is the wordless answer to it. Sitting is nigh an impossibility when she's in uniform and even more so during a briefing. She does, notably, stand off to the side. This is Jax's show; she's just part of the chorus. Maybe a few speaking lines, though. A few.

"A pleasure to meet you all. I've heard great things of your squadron as a whole and, too some of you--" She looks to Ax "--word has reached me of your efforts aiding in our recent troubles in Pamarthe. As Master Greystorm has said, I am Calista Alistair, Captain of the Pantheon."

A raised brow towards Jax -- an unspoken question given and answered -- and Calista moves to the holoprojector. A few taps onto the console brings up a pair of images: one of a Mon Calamari Star Cruise and also that of a Mon Cal male. "Yoxesc Omben, Captain of the Mon Cal capship 'Ackbar', has mutinied. Ss an act against the ceasefire between the New Republic and First Order, he has seized the 'Ackbar' and a large portion of her bridge crew has joined in his crusade."

She pauses to let the first bit of information sink before continuing.

"He is a decorated officer and revered veteran. Though what he has done is treachery, the New Republic would appreciate if he can be taken alive to face a proper trial. However..." the holoprojector changes to show the schematics of a T-85. "... he also has a squadron guarding the capital ship while he considers his next move."

[ Nerys Greystorm (Nerys)]

Nerys frowned, as she listened to the current briefing, glancing across to Kael, but the look she offered him needed no words. 'Why do they always want them alive?' that look said. It was the tragedy of Nerys Greystorm's life, each and every time she heard those words. Ah well, she was soon looking back towards the debriefing, attentive to the information that was being offered. Whether her flight would end up on that assignment, ideas were already in motion.

[ Vega (Veg)]

Oh crap, introductions. Vega gives a look back to Ewan and a bit of a smile as he introduces himself, but she missed her chance and things are proceeding. Her bb-unit whirs quietly at her before she reaches out to pat it's head, "Shh, people are talking." she whispers to the droid.

[ Jax Greystorm (Jax)]

Jax points in the direction of Calistra as she breaks down the mission. "I know not all of you may not any more found of Grand Alliance or the agreements with the First Order than our assignment. We've been asked to try to bring our people home.... all of them. That's why we're doing this. It will require a light touch. The Pantheon will be providing support for us on the mission. Well all three missions." Jax crosses his arms, "And as you can understand this needs to be kept quiet. It could endanger New Republic dipolmatic relations if it gets out."

He holds up a hand, "Now before we get things carried away. Zandra, I'm assigning you the RedFire Pirate problem. Find out what we're going against and where we need to be. That is somehow the easiest one on the books." Then he looks at Nerys, "Give us a moment, we're getting there."

[ Ax (A)]

Ax winces, "Not really thrilled about going after our own, especially considering the brutality of the First Order in recent years means that this cease-fire is likely bantha crap. There's a damned good chance that the First Order is going to betray that ceasefire."

Ax sets down his mug of caf and pulls a pink sippy cup from his belt, "I'd be more inclined to infiltrate the Ackbar and see if we can do this without destroying a squadron of our own guys, misguided as they may be."

Ax takes a long sip from his lucky cup, likely something a little stronger than caf. "If it comes down to it, I'll fly the mission and shoot whoever I have to shoot, but it's going to be a shame if it boils down to that."

[ Zandra naMuriel (Zan)]

Zandra arches a brow, but nods her head. "Sure thing, boss," she replies. "Did you say we've heard back from Lady Redfire?" There's a confidence there as she answers, though she frowns a bit, taking all the information in. "I look forward to maybe getting to try their little racing cars on the track. It looked like a lot of fun, except the track was broken last time we were there." She glances at Ax, listening quietly, before she adds, "I would also like to offer to help out with the other missions if needed. Or at least offer up my flight. we may well need folks from each flight on each mission, just for the variety of fighter."

[ Calista Alastair (Cali)]

"T'is incredibly unfortunate, yes," Calista replies to Ax in particular, her tone as heavy and solemn as the sentiments could possibly bear. "But treason is treason. This situation must be handled to prevent the cascade of other mutinies. A war on two-fronts would stretch manpower and resources too think and this Sith Empire is a more immediate threat. We must act in good faith that this ceasefire will endure and we cannot have rogue crews inciting violence and bringing that into danger."

Her green eyes look up at the schematics of the T-85 slowly spinning around and around on the holoprojector. "I can only assume they will be given a chance to surrender and granted some kind of leniency. But should they refuse--" She doesn't finish the thought. She doesn't need to.

[ Vhe Tenara (Vhe)]

"It sounds like the matter has gotten out of hand," observation made, Vhe glances to Zandra when she speaks of Lady Redfire. A slow nod of her head as she looks back to Jax for information. The mention of another outcome to surrender causes Vhe to press her lips together. "One will hope they see reason and understand the position they will be in should they refuse to stand down. And the position they will put us in."

[ Kael Greystorm (Kent)]

Kael just sits back and listens to everything for the moment just chiming in for a short, "Just T-85's and a single Mon Cal Cruiser? I suppose discrete is more preferable for the diplomatic mission however is there any chance of an interdiction cruiser to support us?"

[ Ewan Eroh (Arrow)]

There were plenty of things to get through in the meeting, and so, he doesn't add anything to the current discussion. One of the drawbacks to being Jedi and Republic, sometimes, they were at odds. His eyes keep watching the others, looking for reactions that might tell a bit more than people wish. He wanted to know the crowd.

[ Vega (Veg)]

Vega's grey gaze goes from one speaker to the next as the information is relayed and she keeps up with it. She looks back to Ewan though to see what he's doing and sees him looking over at others. It gives her a chance to just stare at him like a weirdo for a few moments before looking back to Calista and listening to her.

[ Jax Greystorm (Jax)]

"All of our ships except Vector Flight have ion canons mounted on them. We also have access to ion warheads both in torpedo and missile form. There are reasons why we're being asked to do it. I may look into having Vega and the Pantheon's Techs fit part of Vector flights canons with ion weapons on the temporary. I will be heading up this assignment." Jax looks to Calista at Kael's comment, "That may be something we request from the New Republic. Once we locate the Ackbark.

Then he looks at the others in the Squadron, "This will be news to non-jedi in the squadron. " Jax's expression becomes even more grim before, "Somehow, Palpatine returned... again." He gives that a beat. "The long and short of it, Palpatine had commissioned a series of droids with A.I. and his brain patterns. The prime one is trying to find a Force Sensitive to bond with. Don't ask me details on this process, how, or why. The Order has traced it's headquarters to the Kuma System. The Kuma System was the site of a space battle in the Galactic Civil War. Now it's a junkyard. Imagine Jakku in space. The Palpatine Droid is held up on an Imperial II Star Destroyer. To complicate the matter, there is a heavy pirate infestation in the system. Rey's asked us to drive out the pirates, so a team of jedi can deal with the Star Destroyer. We don't know what's there. Ewan, I want you and your cane to figure out just what's in that system pirate wise. What we're going to be up against."

[ Zandra naMuriel (Zan)]

"I'll assume the write up is on my desk," Zan murmurs, and she knows she's right, so doesn't go any further. The rest of the story, this bit about mission 3, is not news to her, much as she might wish it is. "I will note that it is really nice to feel we can at least split up the teams for some pieces of these missions." Growing concern, the Jedi. Who knows where they'll end up, when they grow up? "And I hope that some peaceful solutions can be found for some of these missions." That palpatine AI though, she's pretty sure there's only one peaceful solution to that.

[ Nerys Greystorm (Nerys)]

Nerys frowned, as she listened to the next part of the briefing. She did not look much bothered by mention of Palpatine, but then, she was no jedi, and certainly not force sensitive. "Amateur," was mumbled, more to herself than literally anyone close to her. What she meant well, it didn't really matter, as she heard her wingmate and flight lead being given the assignment from the squadron leader. "Seems a bit reckless to send a team of jedi into a place that, from what you've said, appears to be seeking just that exact thing. If this AI," Nerys face twisted, as if she would spit if it wasn't rude, "is seeking force sensitives, you're walking into a kill box."

[ Calista Alastair (Cali)]

The other two missions do not involve the New Republic and though Calista is listening, she is not interfering. There's already enough on her desk, the last thing she wants to do is go stomping on Jedi toes on top of it. The idea of a Palpadroid does give her a bit of pause.... whut?

No. Nope, it has nothing to do with her and as far as Calista is concerned, she's not hearing any of this at all. Though she does nod gently to Nerys' commentary. She is in agreement about not sending Force Sensitives into the path of an AI seeking said Force Sensitives.

[ Ewan Eroh (Arrow)]

Ewan's cane is risen in place of his hand to offer Jax a salute. At Nerys' comment, Ewan purses his lips a moment and offers an understanding nod. "Truth is, place like that, any one would be in danger. Probably from the moment they break hyperspace," he admits, "But, they dont have my wingmates, and they'd have to catch us first." He smirks, not noticing Vega was staring right at him as he volunteers his flight for the suicide mission.

[ Ax (A)]

"I'd rather not tinker with Saber 3's weapons loadout if at all possible. Maybe a stealth insertion, jedi team? Board the Ackbar, disable the ship's power supply so it is dead in space. A ship that size would keep atmosphere for long enough to get support vessels in to offload the crew, who won't have much choice but to surrender."

Ax sips once more from his pink sippy cup. "As for the Palpatine droid thing," he says, looking to Nerys. "Yeah, it's definitely a trap, but someone's gotta walk into it, and the average military grunt isn't gonna fare well against the tech that's involved."

Ax looks to Ewan, "If you want, I can loan you a few Phantoms. They're pretty stealthy if you're not pushing the thrusters too hard and just as fast and agile as an A-wing. Also might not instantly send up warnings if one does get spotted. Similar ECM setup as well."

[ Kael Greystorm (Kent)]

Kael Greystorm glances over at Jax and then nods towards what Nerys said, "Are they running around with the ultimate lockpicks as well? If not I'm pretty sure the Commands could handle it and not risk providing the exact thing it's looking for to bond with or whatever that's about. If it's a junkyard of wreckage how many active enemy ships might be out there?"

[ Vega (Veg)]

Vega frowns when Ewan volunteers Vector for a suicide mission and the woman crosses her arms and settles back against her chair. Where she then tries to stare a hole through his face with her gaze. It wasn't going to happen, but she could imagine it, right? She listens to the others, but doesn't add her voice to anything at the moment.

[ Karas Darkwing (Kar)]

Karas sits there taking notes in his datapad, he remembers the last mission to help Lady Fyre. But now they are going to assist her again when there is a rogue NR Force. He sighs a little bit but he does continue adding notes to his datapad and once he finishes he looks up, studying the T-85 silhouette. He misses his T-85 X-Wing but he does like his -2C as well.

Karas leans back in his chair watching the others and taking in the information. "The Phantoms are pretty awesome." Karas adds in. He does perk up about the Palpbots, "Do we know fully how many there are?" he asks. "If he's back, we all need to be aware and prepared just in case we come into contact with this droid." he says.

[ Jax Greystorm (Jax)]

The hanger was quiet except for one corner where some seats were set up in a semi circle around a holoprojector resting on a crate. There was a table with pastries and a couple pots of caf. Jax was up at the front leaning against the crate. Calistra was with him. Jax was holding an informal meeting with the squad. "Ax, Saber 3 carries a light ion canon and magpulse missiles. Part of the Ackbar mission will be us landing and taking the ship. Hopefully after we ionize it and the T-85s. If we have to destroy the Ackbar or her rogue fighter squadron. The mission will be a failure. I was not joking when I said we want to bring everyone home. Some of them will be in shackles."

Jax holds up his hand, "Good question Nerys. I have fought this thing with other members of the order. I think it would kill several commando teams and we probably wouldn't subdue it. Unless we have an army of you that we can over clock. It seems jedi are the closet thing to what can keep up with it. " Jax looks to Ewan, "Just survey, we're after the pirates not Palp. Also we're bring the whole squadron to go after the pirates. We just need to know what's there."

Jax shakes his head at Karas question, "If you see a Palpatine droid, do not engage. Get out and bring what intel you have back to us. You and the intel are more valuable than destroying the thing. We don't know how many of them there are or I don't."

[ Zandra naMuriel (Zan)]

There's a moment of thought, and then Zandra echoes Jax's words. "There - if you destroy this one, another one will wake up, somewhere else, it seems," she puts in, a little wryly. "We are going to have to - figure this out eventually, but it's not going to be an easy thing." She takes a breath, giving Vega a brief but thoughtful look. "The Phantoms are fun to fly, that's true. They're neat ships, I like them." She leaves that there, since she hasn't got one to fly on the regular. She quiets at Jax's serious answer on the mutiny, aware that it might be the most complicated of the three missions tactically, though the creepy AI is perhaps the most dangerous. Perhaps. "Not that we want to face that thing, necessarily," she puts in. "But necessarily might well be the key word."

[ Nerys Greystorm (Nerys)]

Nerys frowned, that deep, unhappy Nerys frown which usually came before she did something entirely violent and utterly reckless. Oddly, it was not at all directed towards Jax. The frown was certainly not reflected in her voice, "Sadly, there is only one of me. But," she nodded towards Zandra here, "If the death of one does indeed lead to the waking of another to replace it, perhaps what we should be thinking about is determining if there is a way to incapacitate the thing, so that that replacement doesn't happen. Carbonite, possibly, I would need to get a better idea of how the droid is made."

[ Calista Alastair (Cali)]

Calista has her datapad out and is making a few notes as the group speaks about Palpadroids and pirates. Not her area of duty at the moment. Instead she is making additional plans, her stylus pressing here and there to hail back to the Pantheon. Preparations would have to be made if the Saber Squad were going to be operating from their hangars once again. There was also mention of perhaps modifying ships and if that's the case, the techs could be on board to assist.

All of that is to say Calista is off to the side and still not interfering unless a question is posed to her directly.

[ Ewan Eroh (Arrow)]

"My understanding is much of this mission will be to determine precisely that. We can't plan a frontal assault against an enemy we know nothing about," Ewan says, nodding. "We get in, we take sensor data, and we get out. With any luck, the pirates won't even know we're there--Let alone some stuffy Droid," Ewan says. He offers Jax a knowing nod, before leaning forward to whisper. That's when he catches Vega eyeing him, and he furrows his brows together in a concerned look.

[ Ambrosia Greystorm (Amber)]

Military elements gone rogue? It's not unheard of, protectors of the Republic turning their backs on the ideals they swore to uphold, to enforce. Ambrosia has had to deal with her share of court marshals(or executions in-field should the kriffers not surrender quietly), and while this particular instance falls under the Navy's jurisdiction rather than Army's...she's still keen to listen in. Since she's already come to ground to address a matter on base, the General has opted to not wait for some summarized version to float across her desk and has crossed the distance in a little landspeeder to darken the far corners of this briefing space with her silent presence. Self. Silent self. Her /presence/ is oft anything but silent, when she herself is quietly lurking thus.

[ Vega (Veg)]

Vega's gaze is locked on Ewan and when he looks to her there is a bit of a smile given to him. A forced one. She motions for him to go back to what he was doing before her eyes goes back to where the others were. She straightens up a bit more, taking notes mentally when she needs.

[ Ax (A)]

"Starfighter ions aren't going to be much good against a Mon Cal cruiser," Ax says, looking to Jax. "The Magpulse weapons might keep them from shooting at us, but best bet is trying to do a stealth insertion, at least in my mind. While they've mutinied, I doubt they're anxious to fire on Republic or civilian pilots. Maybe we can fly a ship close enough to drop some people out EVA to board?" It's apparent that Saber 3 wasn't a fan of fighting Republic soldiers, rogue or not, if he could avoid it, or he was thinking like a smuggler, not a fighter pilot. "I mean, they know what we all know, the First Order can't be trusted and cannot be forgiven for their aggressions upon the galaxy. The cease-fire may buy us time to fight the Sith, but it's just as likely that the Order will strike when we're engaged and we'll still be fighting two enemies."

[ Jax Greystorm (Jax)]

Jax spreads his hands, "All good ideas. I'm trying to handle our part of the problem. Also Nerys, I am happy you are unique. That's why you're my favorite cousin. I also couldn't keep up with more than one of you. Kael did good but he usually does. Ewan, my father did not start or was the end of the tradition of Greystorm men marrying women that can kill you more ways than you want to know. Though Mom is arguably the most famous. Break can break most people. Also don't make Senator Greystorm angry."

Jax rubs his temples for a moment, "I'm not disagreeing with your assessment Ax. We've got to get the shields down on the hanger bay to make a landing. So that's what we're looking."

"Needless to say I don't need this spread around. The panic this would cause the general public. So we're going to be operating out of the Jedi Promenade and Hanger for a bit. These are located on the Pantheon. We are restricted to these locations and the mess hall. All other parts of the ship are off limits unless under express permission from the Captain or her command crew. While aboard I asks that everyone wear either jedi robes or their flight suit. You will answer to Mister or Miss, Mrs, or what is the appropriate civilian title. As you are civilians, and are allowed to come and go as you need. We will be able to park personal ships on the Flurry. You will be escorted from the Flurry to the jedi area. Please obey all regulations about alcohol and narcotics while aboard. Please show crew respect we are their guests. If their is a conflict with crew in the mess hall, respectfully extract yourself to the jedi section. Please inform Zandra, Ewan, and myself. We will handle the situation. If you are found outside of these parameters or area. I cannot promise you won't be arrested. Did I cover everything Captain?"

Then almost as if he knew she was there without looking, "Hello, Mom. Have some Caf and a pastry. Welcome to the Lighthouse."

[ Nerys Greystorm (Nerys)]

Nerys, hearing Jax's assertion to her status as Best Cousin, glanced over to Kael, her expression entirely innocent. But that ribbing, even silent, would have to wait until the briefing was over, as she looked back to hear the orders about moving to the Pantheon when they were under operation. "I don't think it matters of the First order intends to betray us in the future. We know that, and it's a given. We need to deal with the immediate threats now." She glanced back to Ewan, "Let me know when you want me to report to the ship."

[ Ax (A)]

"No booze on the Pantheon, huh?" Ax says before draining the last of the amber nectar from his sippy cup. "You sure that's not why they mutinied?" He hooks the handle of the pink cup to his belt once more and leans down to pick up his mug of caf. It wasn't steaming anymore, but it at least helped him keep his mouth wet. "Just let me know where you want me and when, and I'll be there. If we're free to come and go, I'll park Saber 3 on the Pantheon or Flurry or whatever so I can get to her quickly if the need arises."

[ Ambrosia Greystorm (Amber)]

General Greystorm lifts her chin just slightly from it's attentive 'I'm listenin' bow and a ghost of a smile ripples over her lips to hear Jax warn about 'regulation' alcohol. That's right...old grumpy Greystorm is a master of the art of confiscation.

Don't look in her bunk.

"Might sample that caf..." she intones back at her son when he's finished his spiel and she's freed from her zone of silence to step forward. "See how it stands up to the drek last cooked in base Mess."

Another step, scarcely a trace of the hitch visible in the first.

[ Jax Greystorm (Jax)]

"Alright guys, that's all I got. Keep your eyes open for further information. Dismissed. May the Force be with you." He stands up and moves to get a re-fill. "Soo what brings you to the Light House." He says getting a citrus jelly filled pastry. He takes a bite.

[ Karas Darkwing (Kar)]
