Shownar the Credits

OOC Date: January 16, 2019
Location: Shownar, Outer Rim
Participants: Leia Organa, Rey, Chewbacca, Elrych Cometburn, Zandra naMuriel, Yuun, Aryn Cole, Nomi Koda, Kier Cole (NPC)

The planet of Shownar was deep in the Parmic Sector of the outer rim. The planet had once served Imperials as an attraction to draw tourists to view the night sky above where brilliant blues, golden rays, orange and reds danced to form the Torch Nebula. Many cycles had passed and the ownership switched from Imperial governors to landlords, and eventually those hands changed to Hutts. Hutts have a reputation across the galaxy for being gangsters, and while Hutt pride (when offended at least) was chief among the commodities Hutts treasured, the only thing they loved more was credits.

To that regard, Hutts were business moguls and geniuses. They capitalized on landmarks and oddities that people treasured, sights no one around the galaxy could see except if they came to it. So when the masses came, the Hutts were ready. Casinos dot the surface of the Hutt world where tropical trees dotted resort beaches, and any sin could be committed here. Shownar's Lullaby, a stretch of famous towers that align the equator of the planet provide intimate high rise views from private towers, the splendor of the Torch Nebula at night.

It is within one such tower our group finds themselves. A cloudless night provides a view so spectacular, the brilliant lights of shifting gases well beyond the reach of Shownar's atmosphere shine directly into the very den everyone resides. Aryn is staring up at the view from the veranda doors. The cool humid breeze brushes the white curtains with small flutters and the taste of sea salt is upon the air. "This seems to be the only resort the signal came from. There were sixteen, but this was the strongest source." Aryn speaks out softly, turning from the view to look at the others.

Rey stands near one of the windows with her hands in front of her waist, fingers interlaced together and her eyes are near to the glass, she's looking out at the city beyond and just marveling at it. Though she's gotten a lot better about her dumbfounded gawking at new locations, its still 'new' to her to see places like this. Its still something she considers an honor and an amazing moment to see a new place that is so different from the last place she saw, from the place she came from. She cherishes getting to go to new worlds, even if not all of them are 'good' in nature and the behavior of their locals.

Rey hears the rundown of the signals and she turns then to look back over her shoulder. "Sixteen?" She asks Aryn who's just a small few steps away. "Whats our plan then?"

Every moment is a teachable one.

That's pretty much Leia's entire method of instruction, preferring to stand back and let those with her figure things out until they absolutely need her or request that she step in. She's there, though. Always just there, a constant presence, if only a quiet one, looking out over the balcony or just a step away with her hood up and over her dark hair. Always a smile of reassurance, more so when Rey inquires of their next step. Turning with the younger teacher to regard Aryn fully.

To two of the people here, Nomi is known for her stoic disposition. There's a crack in it right now. A sense of being unsettled that she can't quite hide behind the facade of neutrality. This is not a world she wants to be on. This is not a place she wants to be in. The high class veneer cast over the city, and the kind of people it attracts are the kinds of things she'd rather avoid. If not for Aryn's request, Nomi would never have come to a place like this. It shows. The inside edges of her brows are almost perpetually knitted together, and her gaze can't remain still. She focuses on the slightest movements in the sky, and refuses to go anywhere near the balcony or the windows. She hasn't been able to stand still. She paces, even now.

"Plan?" Aryn asks, realizing that the full weight of their stares were on her. Had she color in her cheeks before, it is gone now, but she displays some bearing and tries to stand a bit taller, if only to chase off the overwhelming notion to be timid. She had to be brave. "Right, a plan. I've thought of this." Aryn says in a studious fashion that suggests it's all she thought about. "I mean to contact them, the ones responsible for capturing my brother and to set a meet. It will be tonight. I hope to confront them. Surely something can be achieved through diplomacy; maybe this is something we can work out. Drawing blasters and shooting up the place is exactly what they'd want. We've dealt with gangsters before." Aryn reveals, swallowing down the lump in her throat.

She turns from Leia and Rey to walk closer to Nomi, who looks uneasy and anxious. Aryn thinks she can feel it bleeding off of Nomi, perhaps taste and even smell it on her. Was that something the others could detect from Aryn? "It is within their best interests to listen to reason even if they have blasters and my brother. My parents are prepared to offer a sum of credits, but I have no intention of awarding it for this madness. If violence is to follow, and we to perpetuate that cycle, then let it be an action we take when all lesser means of negotiation have failed, or cannot reasonably be employed."

Rey's eyes dart over to the others and then back to Aryn, she watches the blond move toward where Nomi is and then just draws in a breath and nods her head one time.

"Right." She concurs with the concept. "But should we all go on this meeting, or should we... split into groups to stay near and close to observe it incase a hostile situation does occur?" She glances toward Leia, because she naturally differs to Leia's experience and authority, whether she should or not. But she's quick to look back to Aryn.

"I'll happily be in the meeting group, either way. Masked, of course. We can't have them recognizing me, after all. It could make things... far worse. Considering the quality of those whom we are dealing with here."

Yuun looks to the group as they stand together in a room, his eyes scanning everyone for a long moment. He's quiet and waiting for the moment, wanting to see what their next move is going is to be. Looking over to Nomi, he does see that chink in her armor, thought he doesn't comment on it. Right now they are venturing in things they have to start doing. When Aryn speaks up and he looks to her for the long moment as she speaks, he isn't speaking at all. For now all Yuun is doing is just listening taking in everything that is being said.

"I think it would be good to have two groups like Rey has mentioned. Hutt's have a reputation for a reason so hopefully they will listen to reason, if not than we will be around to assist. I would like to be in the second group watching over the diplomatic team." Having done a few missions with the Resistance and with Ax and Jax on other missions, things are starting to click for Yuun.

"They are likely common thugs who would happily see the meeting devolve into blood shed." Leia observes off handedly, turning back towards the banister beyond the window and the glitter of stars in the evening sky, "But it behoves us not to underestimate them, either. They were confident enough to send a direct message, but careful enough to encrypt it. They sent it across sixteen different access points, so it is fair to say they have a competent slicer or the credits with which to temporarily acquire one." Her lips press into a fine, thoughtful, line.

Then she turns back Aryn, "You are correct that violence should be our absolute last resort. Once we've exhausted all other avenues by which we can return your brother, then and only then, should we explore the possibility that harm befall these individuals." There is an unspoken but, which she elaborates one, "If, however, we do have to engage in violence.. it should be swift and with as little outside involvement as is possible. So I suggest we be the ones to offer terms and a meeting spot." That said, "I defer to Lady Cole in the arrangements, however. This is your family, Aryn. You tell us how you wish to proceed."

Seeing Aryn move closer towards her, Nomi's instinctive reflex is to step a little farther away. She halts her pacing, and battles the restlessness coursing through her muscles by clenching her teeth hard enough to raise the muscles of her jaw beneath her skin. Her arms tense, too, and her fingers grip against her own biceps to help contend with the need to move. It's a hard instinct to battle, that need to flee. She fights it, and forces herself to focus on the conversation taking place outside of her focus, which has been inward. Nomi's eyes flick between the gathered, but mostly Rey and Aryn. If she has opinions on what their next plan of action is, she keeps them to herself. Her rationale is challenged in this place. Her decisions aren't sound.

"The casino affords all sorts of anonymity, and thankfully, these are not Hutts we're dealing with. That would become a different matter entirely, I'm afraid. I intend to draw them to a reserved room. I have ensured the room can be accessed through a service corridor from the back, and when my guests arrive from the main entrance, the doors are to be closed. Rooms like these have minimal staff, if any at all, but the service corridor provides security footage and recording of he room upon request. I will meet with them there, insist that they release my brother because it is in their best interests to, and show them the credits. Once they have released my brother, and I have moved him safely from the group, I'd like for everyone to move in. Like I said, two points of entry. They may react to seeing the back door open, but the entrance opening will ensure we've got them surrounded. With any luck, we can apprehend those responsible, and double back to the ship."

Rey's eyes flicker over to Yuun then and she nods very small toward what he adds. She then steps away from the window and crosses over to a chair where her hooded robe was laid over the back of a few minutes ago. She listens to the others while picking the garment up and folding it over her forearms... For a second she bites down on her bottom lip, a bad habit she's trying to cut from her character, but one that still slips through when she's not thinking about it.

Once more she dips her chin in a decisive nod to Aryn's rundown of the idea and how they'll approach this. "I do believe you should have someone with you. We can't have them coming to believe they can take a second Cole child into a hostage scenario, after all."

Rey looks to the others again, but returns her stare to Aryn to continue her thought. "I believe they'd see a solitary... you, and credits would start rolling around inside their little sand sized brains. As these tupes of people do..."

Zan is quietly listening, as she stands there. She'd likely be the least experienced of the group, truthfully, and the least good in a fight. But she's here, listening.

Leia listens to the intended course of action with a growing smile at the thoroughness of Aryn's plan. Once she has concluded, the General bows her head in agreement, "Sound." She confirms with a glance to the other Jedi and attache present. "Will you be in the room alone initially or would you prefer to have someone present?" Rey, however, is already addressing the gundark in the room. That too seems to make her proud. So rather than add any further, she turns to regard Aryn and see how she wishes to continue. Albeit with a step towards Zan, to whom she glances with a small smile. "Do you have any observations?"

Nomi's lips part slightly, and a subtle hitch of air on an inhale hints she might be ready to say something. If that's what it is, it never comes to fruition. Her lips close again, and she spends time watching Rey, first, and then Leia. Inevitably, her gaze ends back on Aryn, who will have more details about whether or not there were any rules of stipulations when it came to delivering the ransom. Nomi hasn't seen the full message that was transmitted to the Cole's about their son, but that doesn't mean it didn't come with any. Like demands for one person to show up alone with the money, to minimize the chance that the group would be at a disadvantage. That they've agreed to meet at Aryn's place of choosing is the one advantage she thinks they might have.

Yuun sees the nod of Rey's head and he turns and focuses on Aryn as she speaks to them. He gives a bow of his head to her, the plan is sound. Looking over to where Rey is as she mentions if Aryn wanted to be alone or with someone to guard her. Stepping up, "I will volunteer if that is what is needed." He smiles. When Leia speaks up next and states the plan is sound, that gives him a bit of a relief.

Zan glances back over to Leia as she steps towards her, and she says, "Could we have someone pretending to be staff in the room maybe?" It's soft spoken and not really more than a hazy concept, but Zan suggests it. "So that they are overlooked by whoever is coming in."

"Yes. There is a spot at the bar. It is the best spot for someone to be. The controls for both the front and back doors are at the bar, which gives us the advantage to initiate the capture at the key point of the transaction. So in essence, I won't be alone, and we maintain our advantage. Is anyone comfortable doing bar work?" It's clear by the way Aryn says 'bar work' she's no idea what that sort of job encompasses. She stares at all those gathered, her hands locked at her back.

Rey's eyes scan over everyone, Nomi, to Yuun and Leia to Zan before she looks back to Aryn. "I volunt--" She cuts herself off when she hears the terms and conditions of this agreemtn. "Bar... work?" She then asks, tilting her head. Alcohol, drinks, where people wet their whistles and drown their sorrows away to mind altering fluids and such. Or so she believed thats how it all worked, right? Her experience with bars start and finish at Niima Outpost and Unkar's place. Rarely dis she ever go in there, but on occassion she'd pass through that place.

She's not fond of them, and as such... "I've no skills behind a bar." Rey admits. "I can... fake it? Pretend? Its just filling glasses, right?" She asks, her dark eyebrows raising up above her eyes as she again looks at the others. "How hard could it be?"

Leia steps over to Rey and lays her hand upon the younger woman's shoulder, "You would be better suited to coming in for the apprehension, Rey." She says with a smile, but without any room left for negociation in her tone, "Also, acting is not one of your strong suits. I, however, am quite capable to the task of turning down my presence if the situation dictates it and small enough that most would over look me anyways." She squeezes Rey's shoulder and starts towards the bar, unclasping the robes long hood to let it flow off and around to fold over her arm. "I also know my way around a bar. I was married to a corellian smuggler for three decades, afterall."

Zan is unfortunately with Rey on that one. "I only know Corellian ale and whiskey," she admits. "Anything else and I would be lost." She looks to Leia and then back over to the others, as the situation is apparently solved. "There is so much to learn - sometimes I think I will never learn enough." Not all - just enough. She shrugs a bit, and then says, "but if I should be at the bar with an ale and helping out that way, I can. Or - well, wherever."

"Then it's settled. Princess Leia will work the bar, I will manage the negotiation, and Rey will coordinate the apprehension effort. I recommend bringing Chewbacca to help with one of the teams. While we outnumber them, I presume at least, a Wookie adds a degree of intimidation that would persuade them to drop their blasters." Aryn looks between them all. Her gaze settles on Zan. "You are admittedly not good at combat, or bar work, but can you prep a ship? The final step of our plan is the extraction. Moving out with prisoners may prove challenging, but the back corridors lead to a service landing pad where supplies come regularly. Putting our ship there prevents us from having to take to public with our affairs. Ensuring that route stays opened, with a prepped ship, will all but secure our success. Can you manage that, Ms. Zan?"

Rey's eyes go to Leia then and she listens to the very reasonable, well thought out, sensible, logical... and wise words of the older woman. Then she looks over to Zan and her eyes just get a little larger while her chin tips upward, the realization of just how much she doesn't know about booze and bars settling in on her visage.

After another second, Rey just exhales and lowers her chin in defeat. "Its true. I don't even know what the word 'whiskey' is." She shakes her head side to side and starts to put her heavy outer robe on, slipping her arms through the baggy, if short elbow-lengthed, sleeves. "I'll comm Chewbacca. He said he was ready to go if he was needed. And we'll prepare for any... necessity of our presences to ensure a positive outcome to all of this.

From her belt, Rey pulls a comm-unit then as she turns away from everyone toward a far corner of the room. She starts to walk toward it while she speaks to Chewbacca over an encrypted channel, but she still uses her callsign of 'Blue' to refer to herself when calling out for Chewie.

Now that gets a smile from Zan. "Oh yes," Zan says immediately. "I am a trader and pilot at heart. I absolutely can have a ship on a hot pad, ready to go. Or on a cold pad, but revved and ready. Just say the word." And did her interest perk up? Why yes it did. "IN fact, that's pretty much what I did for Ebon Guard, believe it or not." A pause. "Also, just Zan is fine."

Leia reaches up to pull the pin on her twisted braid and lets her long dark hair cascade down her back as she rounds the bar to stand behind it. Her lightsaber is placed down beneath the counter along with her pistol belt, but for the most part she does disappear behind the furnishing. She's really small, it's her presence that makes her large than life.

Once behind the bar, she leans forward in a manner that is very unlady like and puts on a cocky grin that looks more at home on staff working in a swanky hotel lounge rather than a senate hall. Her hair hangs in curlette waves down either side of her face which rounds out the angles enough that a cursory inspection may well overlook her as just another person in the background peddling booze.

"Okay... so what do you want me to do then?" Asks Elrych who had totally been here the whole time. Yeah... not like he spaced out or anything watching adult holo's on those sunglasses of his or fell asleep. Nah, that's just not the Jedi thing to do.

"Capital. I trust you, Zan. I've sent everyone the landing pad information on your datapad in case we get turned around." Aryn says, smiling for the first time. She unclasped her hands from her back and adjusted her cape back so her hands could rest on her hips. Observing Leia behind the bar earns a laugh from Aryn. "Your Highness, meaning no disrespect.. you look at home." Aryn's laugh was genuine and very much needed. A sobering breath, and Aryn claps her hands only to pause and turn to face Elrych. "You'll be with Rey's team." Aryn regards everyone again. "We're staging the meeting, where I will negotiate with the captors for my brother. In the room with me will be Princess Leia, who is working the bar. The room has two entrances, one is the front, and the other is a staff entrance through the back service tunnels. Rey is leading a team that will come through both entrances simultaneously to apprehend these guys once I have traded for my brother successfully. We will apprehend them, travel through the service corridor, and board the vessel waiting on the pad by our very capable pilot, Zan. Questions? Or are we ready to proceed?"

"They've done what?" Rey says quietly into her comm unit while standing in the corner, trying to keep her voice down. "No. I know." She replies to Chewbacca who's 'Rrrrowling' quietly over the comm. "Well, keep them out of the cockpit. Yes, the Baby has been learning from watching you. It wants to fly the Falcon, like Uncle Chewie." She's trying not to tease the Wookiee, but its challenging. "Look, just meet us at the coordinates. You'll be coming in through the staff entrance."

They end their conversation and Rey turns around to see Leia at the bar with her hair down. This gets a 'head tilt' from the young Jakkuan as she steps back toward the others and puts her comm unit back on her belt. They'd made the right call about who would tend the bar.

"We're ready to go. Chewie will meet us there." She announces, glancing to the others. "We'll only push in if we're called to do so. A 'pinch move' as they call it, right?"

Leia smirks, rather than her usual gentle grin, and touches two fingers to her brow just above her right eye, "Aye.. quite." She spreads her hands out across the surface of the bar so as to reach the rag off to the side and start wiping off the surface of said bar. She could be paying attention, but she certainly doesn't appear to be. Busy with her duties, diligent in her staffly discretion with the business of the guests. After a second she nods, tosses the rag to hang it off her shoulder, and glances up. "Whenever the others are ready." Agreeing by way of nod with Rey's assessment.

Zan nods her head once. "Alright then. I guess I need to go to the ship and make sure it's ready?" she says softly. "And - you all be careful, okay?"

For a few moment, Yuun had feel into a bit of meditation, but he refocuses after a few moment. When orders have been given, "This should be good." Eh says calmly, though there is a bit of joy I his voice. Yuun has never really shown he gets rattled about much, yeah he gets nervous, and that can be felt in the force. But with all of the things he's been going through, the young Jedi Initiate is starting to come into his own. "Are we ready?" He asks.

"Yeah, man. Let's Wail some Jizz." Elrych says with enthusiasm, slapping his hands and moving to head over to Rey. "The Porgs causing you some trouble again?" He asks with a bit of a grin and a chuckle. "I think I can get a street map on my glasses."

So far, everything was moving according to plan. The team had left the spire to head to the ground level where the casino was situated just off the beach. It was well lit inside, with fancy decor and people everywhere. Live music is playing, drinks are being had, and everyone is involved in whatever sin they've cooked up for themselves. The private suite, where the meeting is taking place, is situated on the 2nd floor in the main promenade of the casino. The main entrance to the room faces a large peaceful fountain where main people are seated on its surrounding benches talking. Soft music plays here.

The service corridor is large enough for a Wookie to stand, and four to walk abreast with some wiggle room to manage. The service corridors are not crowded or bustling with service currently. Inside, Aryn is at the private bar standing across from Princess Leia. When the main entrance opens, three people step through. The leader is Grekor, a dark haired human male roughly the same age as Lord Kier Cole. Kier is the second one through, and is escorted by Nairum. Once inside, the door shuts and Aryn shifts up to her feet, standing shorter than all three.

Kier Cole is similar to Aryn by hair color, he has rich blond and is handsome. His face doesn't have any bruising though, but his clothing is a bit disheveled and uneven. It's Grekor that talks. "You got the creds?"

Aryn unclips the credit chip from her belt just as Kier sees that it's his sister doing the negotiating. "What are you doing here, Aryn? This doesn't concern you."

"You're my concern, Kier. I'm here for you.-- And yes, I have the credits. Please, release him. It's in everyone's best interest that he remain unharmed. I certainly don't want any trouble, I just want this affair behind us." She hands the credit chip out to be taken.

Leia, behind the bar, looks bored more than anything and occasionally moves over to refill someone's drink. There she panders a little, strikes up a conversation while mixing a beverage, and scoops up the credits to place over in the till where she immediately goes back to busy work. Mostly in the form of either cleaning the bar or wiping down glasses. Her hair is clipped back, but still hanging free and she's wearing a uniform of the wait-staff that she talked her way into.

She is overtly blind to the goings ons between Aryn and her brother. It very well could be mistaken that she's gotten so into character that she's forgotten what she's actually here to do. "You want a what?" Squinting at another patron, to whom she moves to get a better ear on his order.

She, of course, paying attention. Probably more so than any of the guards guarding Aryn's brother.

Certainly more than any of the standers by.

Rey had only smirked at Elrych's question to her. "From a certain Wookiee's point of view." She'd replied before offering him a single nod. "You'll be with me. As will Yuun." She looked to Yuun then. "Nomi will go with Chewie while Zan remains at the ship and keeps it ready to fly... I have a good feeling about this. But yes, lets go. I need to grab a mask--somewhere."

Once at her place, Rey is with the others outside of the private area that Aryn and Leia are waiting. She'd gotten a mask designed to filter out the smog and pollution in the air of this planet, so they're fairly common to see which helps keep her from standing out. Her hood is up, and the mask covers her face, with only her eyes visible behind a clear plastic shield, the lower part of her face covered by a rebreather that has a small tube extending down from it. Her voice is filtered behind it now.

"Stay close." Rey says to the other two with her, Yuun and Elrych. "They've entered the room." She tells them, though the other two are likely well aware of this... Chewbacca and Nomi likely aren't, so her communication is being fed to them as well.

Zan on the ship listening in. She's got her pilot armour on, and tied to the ship sensors, as it's running soft, but running. She's ready to go, keeping a good watch around, with probably a droid or two to keep her company. Certainly, she seems much more professional when it comes to this part of things. The comments from Rey are heard, but Zan maintains her own radio silence for now, not giving away that the ship is live and listening.

Yuun looks between both Rey and Elrych as they speak about Chewie. Though before it's time to go Yuun nods his head, "Alright, well we will do well I hope. We do need to make sure we have one another backs. I hope things are calm and going well, but Hutts aren't trustworthy. Though I'm willing to give this a try." He says.

Dressed in a pair of long black shorts with a pair of black and white shoes, they have good traction. Wrapped around his waist is a brown cloak, though it slows well with his clothing. He wears a blue short sleeve tunic with a black undershirt. Along his hands is a pair of black white fighting gloves. He looks like one of the new generation Teras Kasi fighters who is out to have a good time.

"Will do." He sys to Rey, he looks to Elrych and gives him a shoulder bump as they all walk down the corridor. Yuun opens himself up to the force, as he waits to see how things will play out.

Elrych has his dark green hood up as well, his lightsaber and stun saber both tucked into his robes instead of on his hips to advert any suspicion. However, he does openly wear his blaster pistol which was something much more common of a sight on any world. He's right behind Rey, "Okay..." He nods to her, his glasses helping hide his identity and assisting him in possibly finding alternative escape routes. He pushes back against the wall and breaths, calling on the force to assist him during this operation.

"It wasn't supposed to be you, Aryn." Kier says, as he's the one to step forward and take the credit chip, only he doesn't take the credit chip, he takes hold of her hand. "Regardless, I hope you forgive me." Aryn only had a moment of confusion. "What do you me--" It happened so quickly, and in that moment that passed, a blaster went off twice. It was loud and blaring.

Smoke curled up from Aryn's decorative scout armor chest piece, her brother holding her up with one hand, his other holding the very blaster that just shot. Looking up at him in that moment, Aryn coughed up blood in surprise. Kier ripped the credit chip free of her hand just as his friends pulled their blasters. Grekor aimed one at Leia, Nairum turned to get to the front door. Kier watched Aryn fall backward and land upon a small table, spilling it over as her weight transitioned to one side, carrying her over the edge to land face down, unmoving.

Leia does not like the way this feels and has had far more questions than she voiced since the whole story was told to her, but she let Aryn run the events that led them to this moment. Every moment is a teaching moment. She's fond of saying it, but it has been a long time when the teacher was taught a valuable lesson.

She should have gone with her gut and prepared for this.

She should have protected one of her students.

Leia leaps over the bar in a smooth motion as the blaster comes out from hiding, sensing it before it ever fires, but unable to do anything about it in those brief few seconds of time... In her hand, down at her side.. her lightsaber is held pointed unlit blade towards the floor while her left hand raises ina fluid motion to flip the table behind the pair of guards like a shock ball being tossed into an open receiver. "Kier Cole." Her voice is calm, cold as a glacier, but calm. The table hovers in midair above them as the General walks steadily towards them, "You've attacked your own blood for credits... and you have done so in full view of all of these people. So even if you were able to get away, you would be at the mercy of the planetary law enforcement and Hutt Lords controlling the planet."

Most were shocked by the blaster shot and rightly so... but there's a table floating in the air. Then a short woman with the presence of a rancor suddenly illuminated in the bright icy blue glow of a lightsaber. "You won’t get away though.. put your weapons on the floor... or I will come over there and take them."

Rey was doing everything in her power to be a better 'actor' as Leia had put it, which in her mind meant she needs to hold perfectly still and pretend to be just set dressing at this location in this moment, a person simply like any other around the area in this extravagant location.

But it all came crashing down when the sound of a blaster discharging could be heard inside the room. "Move! Go now!" Rey says into her comm and through her rebreather to Yuun and Elrych.

She rushes at the doorway that the thugs had gone through moments ago and she moves to shove them open and enter the room!

Yuun was leaning against a wall just listening to the music that is playing here and his head was lowered down as he enjoyed the role he was playing. Though as the conversation started and the conversation that was being had between both Kier and Aryn, 'What th....' Is what he is thinking. Until the sound of a blaster goes off and he feels something through the force and turning to look at Aryn, and watching Leia leaping and using the force to hold a table.

Than Rey was on the move and so he quickly moves from where he is flanking the group with Kier, he is watching what is coming to ahead, his lightsaber and stun saber still clipped to his belt, his hands flexed as he too was getting ready, "She needs medical attention." He says.

Elrych Cometburn depresses the button on his cylindrical lightsaber and with an electric snap-hiss a brilliant blue energy beam rises forth!

Leia Organa depresses the button on her lightsaber's handle and with an electric snap-hiss a bright blue beam leaps forth and growls with a hungry fury!

Elrych was about to loose himself in the force, that rush and feeling of becoming one with it... and then their blaster fire brought him right back to reality and broke his concentration. "Oh no..." He says, his stomach dropping. His hand reaches out, his lightsaber moving into his hand and away... he has to stumble to catch it as it flies astray. With the power of Telekinesis, he was still trying to get the hang of it. He begins to move with Rey, quickly making his way into the main bar, and the ignights thte black and gold cylinder, a brilliant Neon Blue light squealing to life from it. He points the blade at the cadre, a defiant look in him, the light of his blade reflected in his dark glasses intensely. He says nothing as Rey was already on Aryn.

The sudden action, what with Chewbacca coming through the door, followed by a series of Jedi. The trio was frozen in place. They had expected the ire of the Hutts, but they could've outrun them. Now they stared down lightsabers, and someone with influence over a force of power they had no view of. How had Aryn found these people? The trio tossed down their weapons, there was no maneuver they could pull off that would get them out of this. Kier felt immediate regret for what he had done, and he looked at the credits in his hand, then down at his sister.

Aryn coughed suddenly, and tried to crawl away. Her breathing was struggling, she was choking. Her face was turning a slight red. Chewie shut the front door and growled at Leia, nodding his head and looking toward the service entrance the others had come from.

Leia released the blade of her lightsaber and swept her hand off to the side. The table flipped off and the guns at the goons feet slid in opposite directions like fish escaping a rock tossed into a pond. She strolled towards them with zero fear and gave Chewie a meaningful look before making eye contact with Kier. "You made a mistake. I dearly hope that you've not lost your sister for it and that you spend your time in prison reflecting." She turns away and brings up her comm, moving with a renewed vigor now that she's spoken her piece. "We're on our way through the back corridor, meet us there, Zandra.. we have four guests with us."

Rey moves purposefully to Aryn and looks over her wounds, "You're okay, no you're okay.. We've got you." She assures the young woman, doing her best to both calm and sooth her. "But we have to go.. we have to go now. Leia!"

The General looks back, "Chewie, Shades." Careful not to use names that might be given to law enforcement and/or Hutts, she obviously means Elrych. "Get Aryn.." She points at Yuun, "Go make sure the way is clear.. Rey, you're with her." Neither Leia nor Rey are particularly concerned with their own identity being revealed afterall.

Chewie moves to help Elrych gather up the wounded Aryn, growling remorsefully.

Rey bobs her head and runs towards the back corridor that will lead them out to, hopefully, the ship.

Nodding his head, the look he gives Kier is a pitting one, though he doesn't say anything to the man. He's made his choice and now he must live with it, shaking his head. 'All over some krifing credits.' When Leia begins issuing orders, he looks to her and bows his head to her and he quickly moves out into the corridor looking to make sure the coast is clear for them to get to the ship., Not knowing what to expect, his hands slips down to his side and takes his lightsaber in hand, but doesn't ignite it.

Zan replies back with a simple, "Ready. how fast do we need to leave?" She waits until she sees them coming to let the ramp open, and it's still guarded, Zan at the top with a blaster until she is sure it's her folks boarding and that all is reasonably okay.

With everyone moving, Aryn was hoisted up. She didn't look well at all. In fact, when she was lifted, her head lulled back and her eyes closed. She had not passed on, but everyone who could feel the force, could feel she was fading. THe three they captured remained quiet. Kier had nothing to say to Leia to which could counter the true sin he had committed, and now everything looked grim. They followed the others out of the service tunnel, and out to the landing pad to the ship. The two kept looking at the others, unsure if they should test their luck and run, or risk being struck by lightsabers.

Zan can feel the force, and she promptly does so, her eyes widening as she spies Aryn. "Son of a - " she starts, and that said, she concentrates, which is odd since she's not flying. She moves instead over to Aryn, reaching out to touch her, her expression intent with concentration. "I was studying something," she manages to say, as she reaches for the force, releasing it gently with guiding tendrils. "About healing someone using the force, and I just." Her words stop, as the force transfers, but whether or not it worked, she's not sure. She certainly looks somewhat tired, with that done. "I hope that helped," she worries, and then looks to Leia. "Best I can do here. Let me get us off this rock, and head out."
