The Irregulars: Mynock Hunt Final: Hand Maiden of Destruction

OOC Date: November 6, 2015 (Optional)
Location: Ryloth
Participants: Dyannah Nerus, Jax Greystorm, Kasia Ashkuri, Nerys Arda, Nova Korell, Sajin, Sar Yavok

[Jax Greystorm]

The Rancor's Handmaiden was a Marauder Corvette that the Irregulars had been hunting down for over a month. Intel had placed it on Ryloth parked in a box canyon located a little closer to the Bright Side of the planet that was really comfortable.

The Marauder rested in the north end of the canyon while a Twi'lek village rested in the south end of the canyon. The village was a mixture of small cabins and caves that reside in the shadow side of one of the peaks that lined the canyon.

When the current team of Irregulars arrived, they had took up a position in a cave not far from the box canyon. Jax stood at the mouth of the cave with a pair of magnocks in his hand as he watched the village below. The Twi'leks are going about their day. A group of about ten pirates are milling about 'on guard' and patrol throughout the village and around the Handmaiden. "Alright, The villagers can't figure out if they're hostages or in league with the pirates. Sooo. We're going in trying to keep from engaging the locals. Neutralize any pirates that do not give. Steal any data we can, Plant charges on the ship. Blow the thing up. Then get out of here." Jax looks over to the other side of the canyon, "I did a scouting mission with a local asset, goes by Ryloth Slim. It seems the women of the village are tired of the pirates' shenanigans and have agreed to help distract any local men who want to get involved. I've paid for people to start a fire on the next ridge over. That's the sign for women. So all we got to do is wait then move in. Since Gadget didn't make the operation, our demos are set for dummies. Plant them and arm. We bought a spike for the data core. The Plan A is in orbit and will come in for extraction. Any Questions."

As Jax speaks a plumm of smoke begins to rise into the air. Then one by one the men of the village start to get lead off. In a matter of moments and before the pirates notice the natives have disappeared.

[Nova Korell]

"Where are the computers we'll be stealing from? On the ship?" Nova has to ask, as she's likely going to be involved in the necessary slicing. "Also, do we have a count on the pirate forces we might encounter?"

[Nerys Arda]

Nerys, who had situated herself not far from the exit to the cave, had taken a knee, and was applying the last of Belate's armor, on account of his not having opposable thumbs and thus needing help to get dressed. And by armor, she meant the camo appliques that would cover up his shininess and allow him to move with them without constantly acting like a rolling mirror. "You stick close, we might need you to help match into the ship's system." The droid chirped softly, acknowleding Nerys' words, before the woman herself rose to her feet. For her part, she was wearing her usual armor, with all of its bits and bobs attached, and her backpack on her back. Sword on her back, secured beneath the pack, and her bowcaster already draw, but held low, "I've got a backup spiker, and an interface to help us get in there more easily." She settled herself and then looked past Jax to where she could see where the fire was smoking, "Do we have the route to the ship already scouted?"

[Dyannah Nerus]

"Good job, Jax, getting the women involved," Dyannah mutters, while watching the scene unfold in the village below through a pair of magnocks. "Twi'lek women will wrap their lekku around these clowns and they won't know what hit them." Lowering the magnocks on their strap around her neck, she asks, "How many charges for each of us?"

With a nod acknowledging Nova's question, the Zeltron takes the gun out of the holster around her waist. The snick of the safety being taken off punctuates the silence.

[Kasia Ashkuri]

Kasia is here in attire different from her norm, she's got trousers and boots, a lightweight top and a jacket to help cover her skin, even if it's hot. H-O-T. There's a lightweight scarf half laying on her shoulders, which can be used to wrap her head and protect it from the sun. She has a blaster on her hip, and a bag with a strap that rests cross-body containing who knows what. She glances over at Dyannah for a moment, then her focus goes back to Jax. "Just let me know what you need me to do, and I'll do what I can."

[Sar Yavok]

Resting on a nearby rock with his giant tank of cooling fluid bolted to his back, Sar's MWC-35c rests across his lap. He'll watch the rest of the group through his ruby-colored visor, noting the familiar faces. He's apparently of the same mind as Kasia, in as much as he's just along for the ride. He's a big, mean gun that can be pointed at just about anything.

[Sajin]

Sajin stood there in his jet pack shadow plate having Void Armor, helmet already on. His arms were crossed over his chest plate. <<"So you want me to just... jetpack down there and start killing the pirates? I can do that.">> Perhaps the King of Drik misunderstood something... and man was it getting hot in his sealed suit? Nah, it was made for space walks... he was totally not breaking a sweat. He takes his vibroblade from his back, holding it aside in his right hand. <<"Just... let me know where to go. I can set charges if need be and kill people. That's about it... or clean the ships Deck. I can do that too.">>

[Jax Greystorm]

Jax looks to Nova and nods, "Moonbeam, we're going to try to harvest any data we can including nav points and the like but yes on the ship. You know how much our bosses like intel. Best Intel I got is somewhere between ten and twenty. They had fighters parked here but they're gone. So top end Fifteen or sixteen." Jax puts his magnocks onto the into his utility belt and to looks to Nerys as her question comes up, "Good we may need those, Jet pack. I did on the scouting.. We follow that trail, It'll keep us in the shadows and dump us out half way between the village and the Handmaiden. Unfortunately that's going to leave us in the bright with very little cover. So we sneak and then hit the ground running." He looks to Dyannah, "That was Ryloth Slims idea. I wouldn't expect much help from the women more than we're already getting. We got enough for two charges each. We need to plant three outside on the hull and three inside. Preferably at the engines, shield generator, Coms, engineering, and the bridge." He slides his helmet and looks to Kasia, "You know Ryll, and I'm not sure how well the locals speak basic. They get involved you get to translate. Other than that do what you do. " Sar gets a simple nod. Then Jax smiles at Sajin, "Close enough, King. How about you follow somebody with a more attractive ass than mine. Then when things get hot, you do what you do. I'd prefer to leave them breathing if possible but that's the annoying good guy in me and this is about to be an active battle field. So lets go put some pirates out of business and slag a ship."

[Nova Korell]

"At least they'll be distracted," Nova says, giving Dyannah a quick nod... and possibly a grin, though it can't be seen through her helmet. "I'll take point," she adds, unshouldering her carbine and moving off along the trail. Despite the heavy armor she wears, she's quiet.

[Nerys Arda]

Nerys nodded, glancing down to Belate before she stepped forward, ready as she would ever be, to make the move from the safety of the cave to the ship that was their objective. "If you don't mind, Corsair, I'll stay up near you. See if I can make the route a bit easier to navigate." They didn't bring her along for her fighting skills, you know? Regardless, when the group began to move, Nerys did as well. The sooner begin, the sooner done.

[Dyannah Nerus]

"Heh, it might not have been his idea but at least, he listened," Dyannah replies with jerk of her chin at Jax and a wry smile. "Got to give him credit for that." Pocketing, two of the charges in the pack at her waist, Dyannah gives Nova a thumb's up then turns the thumb on Sajin. "I'll be behind the big guy, I can certainly sneak behind him."

[Kasia Ashkuri]

Kasia slowly draws the large blaster out of its holster as she prepares to start sneaking, nodding to Jax at his reply. "I can translate however needed. Probably. There are different dialects, but I speak the one Hex speaks, and this isn't far from where he was from, so it's probably close enough." Others begin to move, and she moves with them, for once able to creep along without alerting everyone to the fact that she's in the area. It may just be a matter of time, or maybe it's that she remembered to take off her dangly bracelets this time.

[Sar Yavok]

The charging lever of the MWC is pulled back and the rifle part of it whines to life, the big cooling tank sitting back there quietly as it waits to be needed. "Be a whole lot simpler to focus all of our charges on the magazine and engine core. You pop either of those, the whole thing's liable to go up," Sar adds, just as a suggestion. It's hard to stop being a Lt. Colonel, sometimes.

Falling in behind Nova, Sar will also move around with uncharacteristic silence and grace. Like beef jerky in a ball gown.

[Sajin]

Sajin moans a little in disapointment, <<"Awww... The Tionese guy lets me kill people.">> Said in a whiney murmer more than out load. Still it goes through the helmet's speaker. He puts his Vibroblade back into the sheath across his back before taking out his heavily modified Series III instead. Comically, he crounches, literally inspecting all those who are gathered's rears, male and female both. Blame Jax... His finger taps at his chin as he moves from person to person until he stops at Kasia. <<"Hey I know this-">> His helmeted head looks up... <<"I'm going to follow you Ka-errr, you the person I know and am familiar with. Okay, Ka.">> He falls in behind Kasia, following here. Literally watchign her feet as he slinks, moving from one foot print of hers to the next. He may or may not be humming that secret agent holo-drama theme song to himself.

[Jax Greystorm]

After Sajin examines the various asses the team of Irregulars making it to the floor of the valley. The Irregulars had a problem there was as Jax said no cover and they were potentially caught in a crossfire as there was a trio of pirates behind them at the village. Though they were in luck no one had seen them make their move. So a pirate stood on guard at the entry ramp of the ship. Another pair were at the far end which was the bridge on patrol. Finally the last four were sitting in the shade of the engine and appeared to be playing cards.

[Nova Korell]

In the lead, Nova hastily signals a stop with an upraised fist, then gives the 'take cover' gesture with a palm held flat and hastily lowered straight down. She switches to comlink to preserve the advantage of silence.

She takes a knee and takes aim... and against all odds, still misses an /unaware, completely stationary target/. Some days the galaxy's just against you... or its shoddy understructure is, at least. <Stang... So much for the element of surprise!>

[Nerys Arda]

Nerys slowed, as they came up on the ship, their targets neatly arrayed around the ship for them. Well, it only looked a perfect scene. Who knew how many were actually sneaking about in the village or inside the ship. Well, perhaps she'd try to clear the doorway. nerys, finding a place to settle in, hopefully with some cover, but if not, well, it was far too late now, she raised her weapon, aiming for one of the men, specifically the one waiting by the ship door, though her shot went far wide and went shooting off past the ship into the forest. Oops. Hope there were no friendlies in the shadows.

[Dyannah Nerus]

Dyannah trusts Nova's instincts and drops at her hand gesture. A little cloud of dust tickles her nose as she lays supine behind a rock. Sighting over the rock she dropped behind, she aims for one of the players in the room they need to pass just as he looks over in their direction. It takes three shots to drop him. They certainly know they have visitors now.

[Kasia Ashkuri]

When others begin to fire, Kasia takes that as a sign that she should do the same. She might've hesitated were these anything other than scummy people here exploiting and mistreating the Twi'lek people. She has something of a soft spot for that now, and as such takes aim at the fellow by the door. There's a momentary squinting of one eye before she squeezes the trigger, and three blaster bolts are loosed. The trio of shots hit the man, and it's enough to drop him. "One less to deal with now."

[Sajin]

The Caelli Series III was a dangerous and formidable pistol. The care taken to modify Sajin's weapon was clearly top notch and done by an extrodinary professional. That person was also here putting blaster holes through people herself. The King of Drik 'appears' from behind Kasia, twisting his top half so that the pistol points towards the Officer who has his back to the group. The Trigger is squeezed twice and two crimson bolts explode against the body, turning it into nothing more that a smoldering corps with bloody burning holes in the mid section. <<"Nice...">> Sajin says, twisiting the pistol around his trigger finger in a fancy fashion.

[Jax Greystorm]

The Irregulars engage and a few shots go wild but half the pirates playing cards go down, the one by the door is down. There's a moment of confusion as the remaining pirates go for their blasters as the cards go flying everywhere. The ones on guard duty in both the village and in around the ship come running. It turns into a wild unorganized display of blasters. The storm troopers shoot better than this and it's good that the twi'leks are off the street with the afternoon delight. Surely some of the males think there's some sky rockets in flight. Nerys is probably got a warm tingly feeling now.

Jax levels his blaster at one of the ones at the table still standing and letting out a barrage of blaster bolts and missing, "Hit them before they organize. Jetpack! Talk to me!"

[Nova Korell]

Despite the flurry of blaster fire, Nova stays where she is, taking aim once more. Maybe the cut-rate mysterious forces of the galaxy will be more cooperative, now that she's under normal combat conditions with adranalin flowing. They do: She takes down one of the patrollers, then turns her weapon on one of the card-players who now somehow holds a smoking blaster. <He's right! Get 'em before they start getting smart about this!>

[Nerys Arda]

Nerys, who had popped out to try to take a shot at the one by the door, and missed, because she was a scientist not a soldier, damnit(!), did not quite make it back into her little hide in time to avoid a bolt fired wildly that regardless, hit her armor, jarring her left arm, and throwing her momentarily off. Oh, now he did it. Now they'd made a nerd angry. And nobody liked an angry nerd. "Jetpack! I'm alright!" Suck it, pirate! Nerys raised the bowcaster, the bolt flying with precision at one of the pirates who was running over to engage the team, blasting him off of his feet. Hopefully he wouldn't get up again, else Nerys would go over and stomp on him in her pique.

[Jax Greystorm]

The rest of the pirates go down to blaster or stun bolts except for one of the card players and one of the guards in the village. The card player was Cathar with a wicked scar across his face causing him to be one eyed. The Sentient Feline throws his blaster on the ground gasping for breath as he tries to hold his wounds as best as he can, "Mercy! I surrender! Please have Mercy! I'll surrender."

Meanwhile the last guard from the village is moved into firing position and yelling in Rodian. The greenish blue woman firing wildly at the team as he hides behind the rock. There's no telling what he's saying but it's pretty rude to the Irregulars and the surrendering Cathar.

Jax meanwhile holds his pistol aimed at the Rodian as his head pops up the the Corellian hits the Rodian in the shoulder as the pirate drops back down, "Thank that got him?" NOpe the pirate is shooting at him again.

[Nova Korell]

<You know how they say you never know who you're talking to? We just found one of those people,> Nova comments, taking aim. <Bet he'll listen to /this/!> The shot takes down the remaining active combatant. An eerie silence falls over the clearing for the next couple seconds.

[Nerys Arda]

Nerys, just, //just// managed not to shoot the Cathar, as he threw up his hands and threw down his blaster. She did not, however, lower her bowcaster, using the weapon to best effect as she advanced on him, her tone low, as she approached, and hard, "I'm not going to kill you. Now, I don't make any promises on the rest of them, but it'll go easier for you, and me, really, if you give me the codes to the ship. And you do want to make things easier for me, don't you?" She smiled, a bright, sweet expression, that did not at all make it to her eyes. Apparently, he did get the message, and he was soon handing over a datapad, and Nerys called back, "I need a pair of binders." She looked back to the pirate, "You stay there."

[Kasia Ashkuri]

With the downing of the last person firing, and the surrender otherwise, Kasia doesn't miss her chance to move ahead, closer to the ship. She's quiet as she can be, though frankly right now their cover is pretty well blown and it's a wasted effort, but she's still trying. She takes one of the charges she has with her -- tucked away in her bag -- and moves around the ship until she reaches the engine area. The charge is eeeever so carefully placed, double checked to make sure it's correctly in place, and then just as carefully armed. One bomb down, and she didn't blow herself up. So far so good.

[Sajin]

Sajin holsters his Series III as quick as it flew into his hand only momemnts before, stomping towards the surrendering 'Mate' even before the New Deckhand gets blasted down. He grabs the Mate by the collar and throws him to the ground, taking out a zip tie. <<"Hands behind your back... is there anyone left aboard or was this all of you?">> Asks the Hapan in a very demanding and deeper tone than he usually uses. THe Zip Tie is tightened around his wrists and behind his back. <<"Now stay there and think about what you did...">>

[Nerys Arda]

As Sajin was taking the Cathar in hand, Nerys stepped back, turning to look for Corsair, "I have the ship codes."

[Jax Greystorm]

Jax moved to the shield generator about half way down the middle of he ship. He looks around for a moment realizing there was a flaw in his plan. He couldn't reach the shield generator. The Corellian hits the arm button the charge. Then he closes his eyes exhaling and with a deep breath the shape charge rises from his hand and floats ever so slowly up and mounts to the shield generator. Jax nods, "Alright, lets board, the quicker we do this the quicker we can go home."

Up into the Assembly bay, the space ussually meant as a place to gather Marines for boarding action. The pirates have stacked Cargo containers and not just uses as storage. It assembles into an opressive maze that the Waywards will have to navigate. So imagine your favorite Escape room if it was down at the docks and with 15% more murder.

[Nova Korell]

Nova covers Nerys as the woman gets the codes from their new prisoner. Jax's command is just fine with her, once things are secure outside, and she follows him into the ship.

But getting inside proves that things aren't over at all. <I hate mazes,> she mutters into the comlink, going quiet again. <They remind me too much of Star Destroyers.>

She takes cover at a corner... and the lighter crate above the one she's leaning on rasps tellingly as she bumps it. <Frell... so much for being unheard. Watch those openings.>

[Nerys Arda]

Nerys, who needed two hands, sadly, to scale one of the containers, slung her bowcaster momentarily away, at least long enough to get up onto the top of one of the containers, her voice coming through the comms as she got herself high enough to be able to see over the maze. Not that it did much for her chances of not being seen by anyone in the ship, but thems the breaks, "I'll see if I can walk you all through--" And a split second later, instead of instructions, "I make four targets in ambush position spread out around the room. Nova, you've got one coming up behind you." She rattled off the locations of the others, placing each as if they were in a grid, trying to call out left, right, and the cardinal directions to try to make the team's encountering the would be ambushers easier.

[Kasia Ashkuri]

Kasia is moving behind the others, and at this point the jig is pretty much up, which means she's not trying particularly hard to sneak. There's a thump-thump of her boots against the flooring as she boards, raising her blaster as soon as one of the cabin boys comes into view. Once again there's a general lack of mercy for those who are predatory against the Twi'lek people, and she fires off a shot without regard for the man on the other end of it. She lowers her blaster and holsters it, then reaches back into the bag where she pulled the last charge from, though it's something else she's taking from the bag instead. It's hard to see what, but she partially tucks it in her sleeve, keeping it concealed in one hand.

[Sajin]

Sajin pulls his pistol again as he follows behind Kasia, up the ramp and into the cargo/staging area. He looks around, Nery's tipping him off to the bogie coming up behind Nova. He is quick to react, his pistol rising and leveling at the woman. A single bolt leaps out, loud and bright, cratering a burning smoking gorey hole through the woman. He turns just as quick to line up another shot, this time erroding away the head of one of the Cabin boys violently. <<"Well...">>

[Jax Greystorm]

Jax was the last up the ramp just as he head pops up the pirate recruit, a young Chandra-Fa that had been hiding behind a crate pops up friing his blater at Jax. The blaster bolt scoring the deck next to him. Jax jumps turns fring back and a wounded Pirate falls back behind his cover still armed and nursing a nasty wound. Nerys would be able to scan the area and see all others were down for the count.

[Nova Korell]

<Sneaking..!> Nova exclaims, turning around. But the flash of a blaster ends the threat behind her. <I owe you one, King,> she says, nodding to him and moving to take up a better position. It sounds like someone's still fighting in this mess. It doesn't take long to find the bridge. <Stack up... it's sealed, but we have the codes, thanks to Jetpack,> she coms, taking up a position and holding out her hand for the datapad. <Once we get this hatch open, things are liable to get nasty.>

[Nerys Arda]

Nerys, once the had cleared the assembly bay, made use of her knowledge of the corvette's layout, which, thankfully, was just like the corvette she lived in, hooray, and quickly directed the team to the areas necessary to plant the charges. She passed off the datapad before she was off again. "I've got engineering." And she was off, calling out her status as she moved, "Engineering's clear. Charges set." And then she was chugging her way back towards the bridge, to meet up with the rest of the team, checking this room and that as she went, just in case anyone tried to stick their head out and slow her roll.

[Sajin]

Sajin just gives a nod to Kasia, Moonbeam, and the others. He wits for the door to open so they can cler the ship. Otherwise, he should probably start setting charges.

[Jax Greystorm]

Jax moves through the ship planting charges. He draws up in time to hear Kasia say what she says. HIs helmed head turns to study the woman silently for a momnet. Then he holsters his blaster and draws his saber. He doesn't ignite it yet. <Then a trap for sure. I wouldn't recommend just pushing it open and entering. Anybody got a suggestion?> THen he takes a few steps back.

[Nova Korell]

<Well, tossing a charge inside would wreck the computers we came here to pillage,> Nova says, having gotten the lock almost ready to open. <So we need something a little less destructive. Maybe I could get the intercom open, and we could scare them into surrendering? I'm willing to try.>

She has the panel active in seconds. "Attention pirates! We are taking your ship, your cargo, your supplies and munitions, and /you/! You can't stop us, and you have to know that by now! So you can either throw out your weapons and come out, or we're coming in after you!"

She pauses. "And if we have to do that, we WILL NOT LEAVE ENOUGH OF YOU TO MOP UP! So think hard, but think fast! You've got 'til the count of five!"

[Jax Greystorm]

A shaky male voice, that will not be the dangerous one answers, "Fine fine! Look there's a grenade on the door you open it it goes boom. I just want.. gurgle." Then moments later a cold female voice almost reptillian answeres, "Child, I have been pirate since before your grandparents learned not to shit themselves. YOu don't scare me." If funny how those that say their not scared are actually scared.

[Nerys Arda]

Nerys, who had come up to the group, offered, with a hand pointing to the door, "This is the Captain's berth, it ha an entry that leads through to the bridge." At least it does on her ship, she said in her head. "If we can get this open, we might be able to come up on her from an unexpected angle." Nerys went to work, a frown descending on her expression as the system fought her. "Or we can try to vent the oxygen from the bridge if we lock down the ventilation system." What was it with Nerys wanting to suffocate people?

[Kasia Ashkuri]

Kasia listens to the options that are discussed, draws a deep breath and then shakes her head slowly. "No, everyone else get back," she warns those near her. She gives a few moments for them to do just that, or not, then steps toward that barrier that's proven to be so vexing, and presses whatever needs pressing to open the door. She's tense as she does so, expecting something, and she was right to expect it. The door opens and there's enough of a BOOM to demonstrate that there was in fact a trap on the other side of said door, a not so friendly frag grenade. Kasia turned away from the explosion just slightly, but not enough that it should have protected her, and yet she manages to get through this relatively unscathed. There are a few little scrapes here and there, and there is evidence on the leather jacket in the form of damage, but somehow she's not hurt. After a beat she steps aside enough to clear the way should anyone want to charge in ahead of her.

[Jax Greystorm]

After the effects of the frag grenade clear there is underlying stink of fear seeping through the air. All the sealed armors would probably indicate there is a toxin in the air. ON the other side of the bridge, stands a Falleen woman of undeterminable age. Though her reptilian eyes were old and cold. She spits venom as Kasia barges through. She raises a vibroblade in slaute, "Come mamals and die, For I am Xina, Handmaiden of the Rancor, the blody handed..." And so on, she might also be, 'She Who talks too much.'

[Sajin]

Sajin was moving forwards after the explosion. Movement of Action always won the day. his pistol was already raised. Even as the Faleen came growling out, mid monolog, he fired. The bolt zipped by, followed shortly by a dead on strike with a reprisal round... It exploded and smoked... ending any further monologue from the Captain. He starts to clear the room, stepping over the lizzard corpse.

[Nova Korell]

Nova blinks as Kasia opens the /very/ unsafe bridge door, complete with explosion, and Sajin rushes in to deal with the talkative reptilian. <...Okay, that works too,> she murmurs, and steps inside to finish the mission. Connecting up her handheld computer, she gets to work. Having the ship's codes means she's in and downloading the computer core's contents within moments. <Just need a minute...> And a few minutes later, she's exiting the ship with a full computer and a new appreciation for explosives. <Now'd be a good time to get out of here, with all those charges set. Bet we'll see the blast from orbit.>

[Nerys Arda]

Nerys, who was not stupid, pulled away from the bridge door when Kasia called out, and tucked herself in against the inset of the captain's quarters, turning her back to avoid any shrapnel, if which there was very little indeed. And then came Sajin, and the fight was over. And Nerys left off what she was working on, making certain Nova was assisted if she needed it, before the was booking it out of the ship, helping to make certain that all of the charges were set before the team left off. "This was almost easy." Famous last words. "Also...are all Falleen that chatty?"

[Kasia Ashkuri]

Kasia watches as Sajin finishes the job, smiling at him as she reaches up to dust some debris out of her hair. She definitely doesn't get all of it. "Good job, this is why you were always employee of the month." She steps back through the ill-advised danger door and allows room for those with the computer expertise to get to work, and while they do she heads off to plant her last explosives charge wherever there isn't one. When that is done she returns, and waits, keeping a wary eye out for anything they might have missed.

[Sajin]

Sajin clears the rest of the bridge, looking around to see nothing but bodies, debries, and controls. <<"Well hell... we killed them all...">> He looks back to Kasia and gives her a thumbs up before he pulls his fanny patch back around to the front of his abdomen, unzipping it. He starts to pull out explodives from it, humming a song to himself, planting them here and there... Are they in appropriate places?

[Jax Greystorm]

The Irregulars' made it off the ship just in time for the U-wing known as Plan A comes out of the sky and lands just about where the Irregulars had touched down in the valley. The team and their few new friends, a Chandra-fan and a Cathar are loaded onto the U-wing. They indeed were going to have a long time to think about it. Jax is the last one into the ship. <We're aboard, Go.> He broadcasts.

He turns to watch the ship rise up in the air, before he closes the door. A number of Twi'lek males that were in various states of undress come awkwardly running towards the Handmaiden. One or two of them aim old hunting blasters at the U-wing, their hits not even getting through the shields. Jax reaches down to one of the consoles on his wrists and hits a few buttons.

What happens next is the work of an engineering genius and a demolitions expert. It wasn't Jax's work. He and his team had been the tools of true craftsmen. The explosions are small as the ordinance Jax had opted for was not explosive in nature as such things go but incendiary in nature. Plasma incendiary in nature. The explosions are small but hot. There's the a creaking sound as the ship comes apart at the places the bombs were placed but leaving the majority of the ship including cargo holds, crew quarters, and the like whole. The village had salvage rights.

Jax pulls the door shut turns to look at Kasia, <Tell Ryloth Slim, I did as I promised.>
