Liz journeys to Jakku with some of the members of Shadowport in search of the Finest Caff Bean in existence.

OOC Date: September 13, 2020
Location: Jakku
Participants: The Shadowport: Gaz, Kaavenn, Karr'roga, Mydas Gryph, Kira, and Liz'diot

[Liz'diot]

It was supposed to be simple. Go meet with the contact out in the graveyard wastes of Jakku, then head off to the super secret underground laboratory. Though, dealing with underground types was never that simple, or legitimate. So it was likely of no surprise that when Liz and those who decided to come along with him showed up to the pre-planned meeting area that they were surrounded by a number of armed Junkers. They don't attack at first but they also don't greet the group warmly.

"Fizz Flar... it is I Liz'diot THE OMNISCIENT... now show me to the BEAN, YASSSS." Liz was in his chair, surrounded by his fire element of droids. Two B1's, a K4 Unit, and a Rodian Hunter Seeker droid.

Fizz Flar was a whisp of a man, made lean from the lack of sustinance the desert world of Jakku provided. Nothing but dehydrated portions from Unkar Plutt. "First, we want some creds... did you bring them?"

[Gaz]

Gaz is standing by near Liz's entourage, clawed hands resting on blaster pistols at either hip, taking a decidedly lounging posture. One ear flicks and the other swivels as she watches Fizz Flar with open suspicion. Geared up in Void armor, armed, the Shistavanen is clearly hear for protection... and possibly flying, if needed.

[Kaavenn]

Go watch over Liz, EJ said. It'll be easy, EJ said. Kaavenn is going to do it his way, so after a face made at Karr'roga "Still need a bath." Next teasing flick of claw to Gaz' ear, with a serious nod at Liz. "I'll get set up. Try not to get there too early." He rolls on out of their transport to do his usual scout sniper ninja vanishing act. There's plenty of broken down old hulls in the area, so he's studiously climbing one. Choosing his snipers hide he settles to his stomach gingerly on a poncho. It's hot. Oppressively hot, and the void armor systems can barely compensate.

For the moment he leaves off his targeting scope until it is time to give away his position. He starts to scope the area and freezes to zoom in on the meeting spot. His head tilts to the left so both glowing red eyes can see it naturally. Scoping up again he murmurs into the comm. <<"So. You got there early. And you already know there's an armed greeting committee. I'll just settle my sight on Fizz for you for now.">> After all, maybe this goes easy!

[Karr'roga]

The Junkers were here to collect, that much is clear. What else is clear, is that Liz'diot of Shadowport was sharper than the tongue of a Farghul; for far back, when Kaavenn broke away from the group so would Karr'roga splinter and begin taking a large circle. He moves in a rapid yet utterly silent quadro-bipedal gait. Heaving across the landscape with large tail shaking left and right. What was worse than a Barabel told to do violence? A Barabel growing territorial over a group - and that group being offered violence.

Behind Fizz's group, Karr'roga is coming quietly. Quickly. Slitted pupils honing in on the heaviest threat of the group as the large fingers sink into the ground, large talons pushing forth.

[Mydas Gryph]

Orange and black colored camoflauge pants cover the lower half of Mydas Gryph's full, crimson body armor. He heard Jakku has a lot of sand, and sand gets everywhere. However, his usual black leather swooper jacket covers the upper half of his armor, and nothing covers the t-visored helmet upon his head. He saunters along the pack that consists of Liz's personal guard, though several military-grade weapons are strapped to his back. His head lifts a little as he takes note of the unfriendly nature of the people that they were meeting, as though already expecting...and even welcoming...a bit of trouble.

[Kira]

Kira walked along the side of Mydas just like always. She still had much to learn from him when it comes to her new position in her life

[Liz'diot]

Liz may be walking right into a trap, but maybe that's why he wanted. He knew Roga was creeping up on Fizz's position. He also knew when it was best to place sharshooter against a group who didn't have the brains to post their own. "INDEED."

The 'trunk' to his hover chair popped open. One of his droids moves behind, reaching an arm in to pull out a leather case. It marches over towards the center of the sand, placing it down before opening it. There's credits there.

Fizz smiles wide. "You are really not as smart as you say you are..." The Junker leader nods to his five men, who raise their weapons further and start towards Liz.

"Fetid HUMON..." Liz pontificated, "You think I didn't forsee this... ATTAXX!"

[Kaavenn]

Liz's logic is proving rather sound, as Kaavenn keeps his scope moving just enough to evaluate all the targets. There IS a brief moment using the scope to check out Gaz' armored backside just because he can later tell hsi childhood friend how huge her backside looks in a scope. Because supportive friends are jerks like that. Back to business, and his lined up on Fizz Flar, just waiting. There's the nod, not a friendly 'punch Liz in the face' nod, it's 'kill them all nod'.

Kaavenn's finger carresses the firing stud almost tenderly, his breath is held and he waits on Liz, just in case. Liz screams, and the EZ-Snap barks it's own cry, solidly punching into Fizz's chest. It's not a kill, but it's got to hurt like a bastard.

[Karr'roga]

They'll never hear him. They'll never see him. The large Barabel stalking through the stones and brush, the rotten environ. At Liz'diot's command, just as the thunderous report of a rifle hits the zone and Fizz Flar discovers bullets hurt:

Karr'roga springs up behind one of the Junkers with an upward swing. It misses, but gains the attention of that victim, who unfortunately discovers that Barabel claws shear through durasteel armor like hot blades and butter. As the pale man's blood starts gushing across the Barabel's bladed hands, so does Karr'roga stare down emitting that deep, cacophonous hissing of amusement and pleasure.

[Mydas Gryph]

The moment the Junkers begin their advance, Mydas makes a deft, practiced motion with his neck and right shoulder in order to swing his back-strapped flamer from his back to his front, and he catches the weapon into its firing position.

He lets out a laugh and points the flamer at Fizz.

<<"Hey Kira...have you ever made a 'Screaming S'more?'">> he asks Kira, though his helmet's visor is focused upon Fizz. He fires a long arc of fire at the enemy group's leader, snickering away as he does.

[Kira]

Kira aims for the junkers and damn she was close to hit one time but both time she would miss. She did not seem to be that good to handle her gun yet

[Liz'diot]

They hadn't even gotten half way down from their junk mound before the blaster bolt from Kaav's EZ ripped into Fizz like a hot knife through a buttered up nerf steak. He didn't even have a moment to react before he was being burned alived by Myda's flame rifle. Scrams scaped him only for a short while as his lungs burned away into nothing more than blood soaked ash.

"YASSSS you shall regret your betrayal HUMONS." Liz murmered evily from behind his wall of droids who were doing /nothing/ to help the member of shadow port. Instead they bacame a wall of armor incase someone went after the criple.

They Do, two of the remaining junkers fire at the droids, but the agile battle machines duck just in time. Two others arim for Kira and Mydas, their bolts hitting true.

[Gaz]

Gaz had unashamedly taken cover behind the wall o' droids when combat first opened, keeping her safe from the first volley while she drew her pistol. Better equipped for the firefight, she peers out from behind a droid and fires off a trio of shots at the Junkers, managing to hit at least one, though the other two shots go wild.

[Kaavenn]

Karr'roga's bloodthirst is noted in the scope, the Barabel does with the Barabel does best. makes a glorious gory mess. Kaavenn's target has been eliminated through liberal use of FWOOSH, courtesy of Midas. Kaav keeps the glowing red eye that is not on the scope open, just in case of more backup, or some other version of Shadowport luck. Liz has turned turned behind a wall o' Droids, and Kaavenn cannot really blame the sickly Bith. There is a surprised blinking in the strafing jack-in-the-box that is Gaz. "Good tactic." Is murmured under his breath. <<"Senth One, Fizz is down, and on new target.">> Kaavenn adjusts his scope slightly and fires. He was only partially correct, he was most assuredly not on target that time. He gives the rifle a look of betrayal, and sinks back into a more professional mentality, moving crosshairs once again.

[Karr'roga]

In the moment, the Barabel is a hissing, growling, groaning mass of bladed terror. He eyes the nearest Junker from his first victim, and opens his mouth to - belch?

It's not as fearsome as it is confusing, but in the moment of that confusion the Barabel hulk moves over to thrust his clawed fingers into the sternum of the Junker and, and then slashing that other hand into the thigh.

Lifting, heaving that poor soul over his head, there comes a Barabel's bellow. "KEEEEVIN! SHOOT THISSSSS ONE!" There's a jiggle of the heaved up creature, despite his pained screams. The blood that oozes from the wounds just causes Karr'roga to open his maw, chomping upwards menacingly, "RIP! RIP! RRRRIP! Kill! Kill! Kill! Sssssoftskinssss!" The words are a crackling growl upwards, "You arrrre like juiceboxessss!"

[Mydas Gryph]

Even after the flames of Mydas' rifle have turned Fizz into a 'Screamin S'more,' as Mydas called it, Mydas continues his acrid snickering until a red blaster bolt pierces the right side of his ribcage. He stops firing the rifle after this, pauses for a moment, and then limps forward.

<<"Haar, Liz-">> his voice is strained as it emits from his vocalizer. <<"--every time. Every haar time I run with you...I get shot.>>"

Now within distance of the other Junkers, he gets into firing position again and fires another arc of flame directly into the enemy group. "<<Gimme your souls, chaakars."

[Kira]

Kira draws the gun one again and fire away a couple of shots against the junkers ones again she did not really hit them or made any damage to them. She mutters a bit and wondering what would be damn wrong with the guns as so badly she could not be with them and she looked over to Mydas

[Liz'diot]

As the Junkers were ripped apart, shot, or equally set on bloody fire, Liz laughed? He laughed at Mydas's comment and Kaav's comm chatter. "YASSSS, INDEED. AHAHAHAHA." A look to Gaz near him, a pleased look to him reguarding her well placed first shot. "Mmmmm..." He looked back towards the group. "Kill them."

The last nail in the coffin for the Junker Gang's moral was when Hunter, Liz's Hunter droid leapt forward and pounced on the very wounded first victim on the Killer Space Croc. His metal hands raches down and TORE off it's head. Turning, the droid tossed said head onto the ground. Three raised their hands, equally wounded an unwilling to go further. One was too busy rolling around in the sand on fire. Screaming in unbridaled pain.

The Question here was... were these people the type to let them live, or execute their enemy. Liz Teepeed his hands together, curious to see. "INDEED."

[Gaz]

Liz has said to kill them. When the remaining Junkers throw down arms and raise hands, Gaz takes the opportunity to step out from behind the droid she's been taking cover behind and offers a smile. Just as cheerfully, she lifts the blaster and shoots three of them at point-blank range without hesitation. There's one left, Karr'roga was holding him up for Kaavenn, leading Gaz to look towards the squirming man briefly. The blaster is holstered and she turns towards Liz'diot, "So. Sorry that ended up being a bust on the bean. Is there another lead to track down?"

[Kaavenn]

He has been soundlessly giving his rifle a lecture as he moves with meticulous purpose to make adjustments for the wind kicking up. In the meantime, Karr'roga has hoisted up a very tempting target for him. He's fairly certain the Barabel will grow an arm back if the shot goes wrong. Kaavenn holds firing just for the moment, evaluating the battle as it evolves. Mydas' flamer flambe`s again, Kira has a bad day like they all do. It is just her turn. The junkers turn to flee, and Kaavenn pauses in place.

'Kill them' he hears the order plain as day. No mercy is just fine for the Shistavanen Sniper-Scout. He needs not worry about any other targets as Gaz just steps out and starts blasting them with zero remorse. His fangs show in a grin, it's good to be working with a crew again. He can just never tell them that for a while. The smile vanishes instantly, and he makes minute adjustments in his aim. A tap of his finger to the trigger guard, and the targeting computer goes live, electronically killing his cover. No matter, he has the last target. The EZ-Snap barks blaster fire that will not be heard until well after the Junker in Karr'roga's arms is severed in two. The remains shower the Barabel in viscera before the rolling echo of the blaster sniper rifle hits their ears. <<"That's a kill.">> Understatement of the century.

[Mydas Gryph]

Mydas approaches the completely incinerated corpse of Fizz and stands over it. He turns his head to the blue sky and takes in a deep breath, speaking quietly in Mandalorian:

<<"Deleonce, God and Father of my clan. Take the soul of this kill as your tribute, and make my wound hurt all the more, for it is through suffering we build strength. Take your cut, oh Father of Conflict-->>"

Mydas looks towards the barely-living Junker that is rolling around on the ground. <<"--but the rest are mine.>>"

Mydas limps towards the dying, burning Junker and raises his right foot over the Junker's head.

"<<Gar runi is vhey, bitch,>>" Mydas says, and then brings his boot down on the half-charred head of the last-living Junker, shattering the Junker's skull completely.

[Kira]

Kira hold her hand over a wound yes would be nice to get away to take or the wound. She looked over to them all and to the junker that who was to surrender him self. She just wanted to shot a new blast of fire at it to try her damn gun again knowing well that she needed a new on. Of course she had no time to fire again as she watches Mydas finish it all up "damn"

[Liz'diot]

"Hermmm?" Liz says, clearly interested in the viceral displays of violence and murder he is witnessing. He looks to Gaz, "Well, shnookums, there may be one more lead. Maybe..." He looks back to the slaughter, "Time... I just need a little more time."

And thus the memebers of Shadowport outright murdered the gang who was surrendering yet had betrayed them. Liz had pissed oof too many people too many times with his disregard for manners. Him and his cadre turned and started to leave, Hunter staying behind to search the ashes of Fizz. He pulls out a datachip and inspects it.
