The Blue Light - Corellian District, Nar Shaddaa

A few steps lead up through the doorway into this tavern in the Corellian District. Once inside one will immediately be bombarded by smells of smoke, people and even food. The sensory perceptions are not let down there though. Conversation also fills the air within this watering-hole's walls. There is a long bar along the back wall, furthest from the entrance, tables where patrons rest and booths on either sides of the tables.

Off to the right of the main entrance is a small set of stairs that lead up into a mid-level area where more tables are setup, but these are designed for the use of Sabacc or other games of chance. This is one of the most liveliest bars in the Corellian district, anyone who's anyone on Nar Shaddaa often comes in here.

Rhani Aeternum is seated at a booth opposite Kael. They each have a basket of nerf fingers in front of them. Rhani has water, Kael has a whiskey glass. The wait-droid is inbound with another round, though Rhani is given what appears to be kaf with milk and isn't. She thanks the droid with a smile, then nods to something Kael has said, "Oh, agreed. Sometimes, I think it would be fun to go back to those days. Though maybe only for a weekend. Care free... no worries or responsibilities... It would be pretty relaxing."

Adhar Gann, for his part, steps inside as if he had forgotten exactly why he was there in the first place. Standing just inside the doorway, he stares at the bar, hands in the hip pockets of his shipsuit - yes, he looks like a proper spacer again, albeit one staring into space.

Kael Greystorm chuckles and shakes his head, "That sounds like a weekend of booze and vacations... Usually when I go back to Corellia for a weekend." His new glass of whiskey arrives as well and he finishes off his old glass and hands it to the droid as he takes the new one. Glancing over to the shipsuit wearing spacer he motions towards him with his head, "That looks like the guy from earlier right?"

Rhani Aeternum chuckles, "I guess." Her eyes fall as her thoughts internalize. Drawn out of her reverie with a "Huh? Who?" she turns to glance back toward the door. Spotting Adhar, she nods, "That's him." A smile blooms on her lips and she lifts a hand to wave, "Adhar. Hello." Looking back, she nods back that way, "Mind if he joins us? If he wishes to?"

Sugg has arrived.

Kael Greystorm glances over at Adhar and shakes his head, "Don't mind at all." Rhani and Kael are sitting across from each other at a booth, Rhani drinking a kaf looking drink that looks much like what an Irish Coffee should look like. Kael's sipping on whiskey straight from a glass and they've got a couple of baskets of nerf tender type things on the table between them.

Rhani Aeternum smiles at Kael again, "Cool." Turning, she spots Adhar's grin. A slow blush rises to tinge her cheeks crimson, "Hi yourself. Come join us?" She even scoots in so that there is room at their booth. "The nerf... tenders? Sticks? Whatever these are..." That is said with a gesture to the baskets, "are pretty good. Either with the spicy sauce or plain." The drink? It is very much a Corellian Cream thing with whiskey and kaf. Yup. Buzzed and relaxed. The only way to... Well, not fly. Walk.

The sound of a swoop pulling up outside of the Blue Light may or may not make its way inside of the bar, depending on how crowded the establishment is this evening, but the loud looking Rodian that walks inside the door is certainly enough to garner a few looks from those about. Sugg pauses, placing his hands upon his hips impressively while he strikes a cocky pose before finally sauntering on over, weaving through the various people milling about to make his way to the bar. He is short enough that he has to hop a bit to slip onto a stool, but he does accomplish the feat and then order a drink, some backwater something or other from Rodia.

The bartender stares at the swoop-tough Rodian, then nods and digs under the bar for an old, dusty, jug of the good stuff. Rotgut moonshine straight from Rodia, kept there for special occasions or special guests. Pouring a Rodian-sized glass full, he slides it on over before recorking the jug and returning it to its hallowed resting place.

Oh hey, it's Sugg. Adhar squints at the Rodian as he passes to climb up on the stool, sidestepping him to go sit down next to Rhani. "Well, you seem like you're having a good time," he says pleasantly, sliding in without getting /too/ close to the lady. He nods across the table to Kael. "Hello there," he tells the man, offering his hand. "Adhar Gann. Nice to meet you."

Kael Greystorm reaches across the table to shake Adhar's hand, "Pleasure Adhar. I'm Kael Greystorm." He takes another drink from his whiskey as Sugg comes running in and straight to the bar glancing over long enough to admire the impressive pose before he goes back to the folks at the table with him.

Rhani Aeternum turns at the screetch of the swoop or the roil of thunder that lends the Rodian's pose even more drama. She smiles at the small fellow with the impressive sense of style before turning back to those at her table. Nibbling on the nerf stick she holds, she listens to the two exchange introductions. Swallowing, she angles a hair on the bench so she can watch both of them, "What brings you here, Adhar? You looked like you had forgotten something. Is everything okay?"

Sugg leans on the bar, picking up the glass and taking a sip of the contents before turning about to view those present. His eyes glance over the various species and genders settled at their respective tables while his fingers slowly turn the glass in his hand. It only takes a few moments for him to spy Rhani seated over with the two men and he offers an upnod her way in attempt at gathering her attention and then dropping one large eye into a rogueish sort of wink as he takes another sip of shine.

"Oh, I'm fine," says Adhar, giving Kael's hand a strong shake before withdrawing. "I came in and thought, 'where's the bartender', but then remembered they got rid of the droid for the moment due to everything going on. Anyway. I'm here. I hope you two don't mind me sitting here. I don't seem to be able to stop running into Rhani today." Not that he seems remotely sad about it.

Kael Greystorm chuckles as he sips on his whiskey and grabs one of his nerf sticks taking a bite as they talk, "Oh don't mind at all bud. It's a good bar and why sit with strangers?" His back's to the bar so he's not seeing the very dashing wink towards Rhani.

Sugg chuckles to himself as Rhani returns his nod, looking at the back of his fingers and then wiping them casually on his immaculate jacket. He is a man among boys, the chief player of the game, after all. At least, in his own mind he is. He turns toward the bar and orders up another glass of the Rodian shine, reaching into an inside pocket of his jacket and under cover of his back being to the table, he drops a white pill down into the liquid, watching as it dissolves. Sugg lifts both glasses and then begins to saunter on over to the table of humans and offers the glass across to Rhani, before saying in a lispy form of basic, "Hey there, Mami. I thaw you checking me out from acroth the bar... I thought you looked like you could the another drink."

"Oh, great," Adhar mutters as Sugg approaches, keeping his expression neutral but tightening up as the Rodian saunters over. "Thanks, man," he says, taking up the glass and lifting it to his lips, downing a swallow.

Rhani Aeternum looks up at the Rodian as he joins them, "I'm not Mami. Not sure who she is, but..." She is about to take the drink when Adhar does so. She lowers her hand, "Oh, I am sorry. I did not realize you were speaking to him." Confusion fills her tone, but she lets it go. Though she has never heard of a gay Rodian, who is she to judge? Smiling a bit at the Rodian, then to Adhar, she claims her own drink instead and swallows a long drink.

Kael Greystorm glances over as Sugg saunters over and smirks a bit scooting over to make room in the booth glancing over to see how Rhani's reacting to all the attention, "What's in the..." Then Adhar's helping himself to the drink brought for Rhani and he just shakes his head, "Hopefully that wasn't something deadly..."

Sugg's eyes narrow dangerously as Adhar snatches the drugged glass from his hand takes a drink of the contents. Wasted roofie, wasted chance at taking that smoking human for a swoop ride, all by this jackass! Sugg's hand reaches out and snatches Adhar by the front of his shirt and tugs him forward, while his left hand slips his blaster from the holster at his hip. "What do you think you're doing, eh? Firtht you try to thteal my thwoop thecrets, and then you thteal the drink that I bought for the lady? Don't you know who I am? Don't you know who it ith that I work for?" he growls angrily.

"Whoa!" Adhar lifts his hands as Sugg pulls him forward, eyes wide. "Calm down, man! I thought you were be--ing friennnndly!" He blinks hard as he's hoisted up, looking a bit like a landed fish, wobbling somewhat bonelessly as he's held there. "'m no....hey, what...in blue...I don't..." Oh. Well. Something's definitely wrong here.

For Rhani, this is all surreal, really. The attention is certainly not what she is used to at all. Out of her depth, to be sure, she looks from one to the other in flustered uncertainty. That is, until the Rodian grabs Adhar and pulls him forward. "Now, hold up a second." Then the blaster is drawn. She shakes her head, her hands lifting, "Let's just calm down. I'm sure that he did not mean any harm by taking the drink. You were not specific as to whom it should go to." It takes a moment or two, but Adhar's condition finally registers. She looks from him to the Rodian and her eyes narrow as ice fills her tone, "You will put the blaster away, please." There is very much an 'or face the consequences' sort of edge to her voice, though she does remain calmly polite. In a seething fury sort of way.

Kasia Ashkuri has arrived.

Kael Greystorm is sitting here looking at Adhar then Sugg then over at Rhani, "He still owe you any credits? Or hired you for any other jobs and you need him alive?" He doesn't really wait for an answer though his left hand casually flicking a blaster off from it's maglock'd holster on his armor and pointing it at the Rodian his right hand pushing his helmet up on his head the power armor seals hissing as they auto connect and the T visor flickering before it powers on and his head turns to look at Sugg, "Put 'em down. Nobody needs to get hurt."

Sugg growls as Kael feels the need to get involved. The Rodian shakes his head in a disappointed kind of way, before he releases Adhar's shirt and reaches that hand not to put away his blaster, but to pull the thermal detonator from inside of his jacket. The Rodian's thumb slides across the toggle of the activation switch, sending the lights flickering across the face of the detonator and causing a series of beeps to begin to sound. "Go ahead and put your blaster up, thir. Thith doethn't conthern you. I jutht want juthtithe for the lack of rethpect that thith athhhole thowed me. And you," the second bit to Adhar. "Give me your money."

Adhar, of course, is still mostly boneless. "That...is...ove-oer-over..kl." Yes it is. "Y'wanna...blow up this p-p...lace, I mean...Kasia...won't like it..." He does produce a credit chip, however, and puts it down next to the detonator. "N'go. Here."

Rhani Aeternum nods to Kael, "I would like Adhar safe and in one piece, yes." She turns again to the Rodian but whatever she is about to say is cut off as he places the active detonator on the table, "Oh for fucks sake." Pushing on Adhar, she tries to encourage him to move, "Out. Everyone." That cold fury remains in her tone and she draws her own blaster and levels it on the Rodian as she moves. The blaster is steady, her aim focused.

Kael Greystorm laughs at the little Rodian, "Sure blow yourself up pup. That'll show us won't it?" He nods towards the drugged Adhar, "That was intended for my crewmember. You want to talk about disrespect you need to go look in the damn mirror." He forcibly stands bringing himself up near Sugg, "Just know if you put the blaster and the thermal detonator away you may just live to see your swoop again." His blaster never wavers from Sugg's face although how the Rodian managed to reach into his jacket and pull out the detonator and arm it without getting blasted is just something for the fates to understand.

Sugg smiles... or what passes for a smile with that weird little Rodian mouth thing as Adhar places the credits on the tabletop. He glances to Kael appraisingly for a moment before he tucks his DL-44 under his arm pit, keeping the thermal detonator in hand. The beeping has increased considerably in frequency, but the Rodian pays it no mind as he reaches out to snatch the credits from the tabletop and slip them into his pocket. Looking over toward Rhani, Sugg says, "Ey Mami, you know that Thugg was just coming over to offer you a drink. Maybe give you a danthe or two. We could have gone for a nithe little ride on Thugg's thwoop. Then thith douthe had to ruin it." He tisks softly in disappointment before he says, "We could have had a real good time." And then Kasia is making her entrance and the Rodian looks over toward her and says, "Jutht getting my payback for a thtolen drink, babe. I think thith one needth to be thrown out of here." Thumb jerk toward Adhar as he toggles the thermal detonator off.

Adhar Gann, for his part, is now a boneless heap.

Kael Greystorm doesn't move his blaster from Sugg's face and his helmeted head continues to stare at the rodian and when the thermal detonator is shut off his right hand reaches up over his shoulder and grips the sword handle sticking up, "This vermin drugged Adhar here... Was attempting to drug Rhani but Adhar took the drink from her. Then drew a blaster and threatened the man and since Rhani's part of my crew and the roofie was intended for her..." He pauses a beat, "Oh and the runt's got a thermal detonator only reason he's still wasting air."

Shock either at Sugg's nonchallance with the detonator or the way he takes Adhar's money or maybe his admission that the roofied drink was for her breaks through Rhani's cold fury. She lifts her head, eyes narrowing at the Rodian. "You intended that drink for me?" No, she is not pleased by that. Not even a little. However, perhaps there might be a tiny hint of grudging admiration for the sheer audacity of the Rodian's plans for the evening. Shaking her head, she refocuses for a moment on Kasia as the woman comes out to defend her bar She is offered a nod, but then turns her attention back to Sugg. After a half a heartbeat she whispers, "I hope you rot." To Kael, "I have to get Adhar to a medic." Though she is not likely strong enough to carry the man. "Come on, Adhar. Up and at'em."

Kasia listens, first to Sugg's version of things, then Kael's, neither of which really make her look too happy. "Alright. First things first here, put away the weapons. Now." It's a general statememt to everyone, and those who have weapons out get /looks/. "I won't have a fight in here, if there is going to be shooting, take it outside. If you shoot in here, I don't care which side you're on, I'm going to shoot you back." She nods toward Adhar. "He looks like he's needing some attention though, so might be best to get him that care he needs, and let things simmer." Then her gaze goes to Sugg. "And you? You and I are going to have words." They're probably not going to be nice words.

Sugg's detonator is slid back into the top secret grenade hatch inside of his coat, even before Kasia commands them to do so. Then his blaster is slid back into the holster at his thigh and the holster strap fastened across the butt of the weapon to ensure that it stays there. First he looks toward Kael and says, "Falth. He drugged himthelf. He wath trying to be a douthe, jutht like I knew he would. He knowth that he ith on my thit litht for trying to thteal my thwoop modification thecretth. He thimply did not want me bringing the pretty girl a drink." He pauses long enough to send another Rodian wink toward Rhani before he says, "And it wath jutht to loothen you up, babe. Thugg would never take advantage of you, mami...." There is a short pause, Sugg looking directly into Rhani's eyes before he says, "Tho what do you thay, baby? My lipth won't kith themthelveth." At the tail end of Kasia's words, the Rodian does glance her way, but he goes right back to Rhani, still holding out.

Adhar Gann, at this point, is basically a hundred eighty pounds of dead weight. Like a Gann-skin rug. Rhani could probably strip naked and have photos taken of her while lounging on him and he would not be able to tell. This is the depths of his tragedy in this moment. THE TRAGEDY OF ADHAR GANN. So he just sort of...pools in Rhani's lap. Lights out.

Kael Greystorm reholsters his blaster it connecting to the mag holster on his thigh with a click as it locks into place. "They won't be kissin Miss Rhani either pup." His right hand comes off the sword's grip as well before he reaches down to lift Adhar up and sling him over his shoulder, before looking over at Rhani, "Wayside clinic still the nearest one?"

Rhani Aeternum leans back away from Sugg when he offers to kiss her, "Uh. Yeah, but no." She is about to reholster her blaster when Adhar sshlorps down into her lap. The gun is lifted again, but not in a threatening way. "One sec, ma'am." She narrows her eyes at Sugg. It isn't threatening either, but it does mean that she intends remembering him. She does not believe that all Rodians look alike, you see. When Kael lifts Adhar off of her, the blaster is put away and she rises, "Yes, that is the one. Let's go." Not looking back, she moves to open the door for Kael so he can take Adhar out into the rain soaked night.

Kasia waits until all weapons are put away before she holsters her own, letting the others be as they prepare to cart the drugged man from her bar. Once the danger of an outright firefight in the bar seems less likely, she turns her attention to Sugg and crooks a beckoning finger, and then simply waits right there by the bar for him to come to her.

Sugg glances back and watches the trio as they leave, even going so far as to call out to drugged Adhar, "I'll be theeing you around!" Once they are gone, the Rodian turns back to Kasia and shrugs his shoulders in an innocent sort of way. "Well, you win thome, you lothe thome," he squeaks out before he looks at the half drank glass of drugged hooch resting on the table that Adhar had left behind. Picking it up, he offers it out to Kasia as he walks toward her and says, "You wanted to talk, mami?"

Adhar Gann, unaware of his tragedy, continues to lump. He is the lumpiest Corellian ever. The...Lumprellian. Completely unaware of his undignified transit out of danger and into the hospital. Godspeed, you ridiculous bastard.
