Attack on the Wayward Hangar!

OOC Date: September 17, 2017
Location: Nar Shaddaa
Participants: Waywards, Ax, Jax Greystorm, Qadira Suuryet, Sesti Gath, Nezlani Bebarv, Adhar Gann

The Blade comes in for a landing and soon after Ax and Nez step off, both covered in cold-weather attire. "You can leave the mining laser aboard," Ax says to the tall Twi'lek. "It's as good a place as any to keep it."

Having followed Ax's instructions, the mining laser is left aboard the ship as Nez makes his way down into the hangar. "Sure." Is pretty much the only reply he gives, the look of curiosity and confusion still burning on his expression.

Kadi is still curled up in a comfy chair, in the hangar, half asleep. She sneezes, sniffles, and then blows her nose. Then she mumbles something, takes a sip of her tea, makes a face because it's cold.

"I told you it wasn't that long of a flight," Ax says towards Nez as he looks towards where his wife sneezes. He just shakes his head and moves towards her, leaning in to give her a gentle kiss on the forehead and check her for a fever.

THe sound of Pacifier coming into the hanger had prompted the opening of the lift doors from the complex. Then out comes Jax wearing a gray t-shirt and navy blue pants. His left arm in a sling. He's holding a cup of caf in the right, steaming hot. He takes a drink of it. "Kadi. Ax. Nez. Minning equipment? Going subzero cave spulunking again?" He says in the way of a greeting.

"No, but it was colder than anything I've ever been to before." Nez replies, not even bothering to think about to removing his cold weather gear. Then he turns to see Jax flying into the scene. When Jax speaks, he shoots a look at Ax. Half confused, half accusing.

Kadi might have a bit of a fever, settled where she is. She smiles at Ax though. "Hey, handsome," she says. Her voice is a bit scratchy, but she's not totally out of it. "Did you have a good fllight?" She shivers briefly - as though cold, despite the blankets.

Ax smiles, and gives his wife a nod before looking over to Jax. He looks as if he's about to say something, but stops. Instinctively, he positions himself in front of Kadi, still looking towards Jax, wondering if the Corellian picked up that same sense of threat.

Jax eyes cuts to Ax's about the same time Ax looks at him. His expression darkening. He drops his cup of caf, it was a disposable cup, so Kadi doesn't have to worry about Jax replacing one of hers with a cute saying about droids. "Trouble."

The new Painted Warrior needs work. At least, as far as Sesti is concerned, the cargo hold needs work. So, she's been doing some... remodeling. As she hears voices through the open hatch, most notably, her husband's voice, she heads down the ramp to greet him. Just in time to hear him say, "Trouble". So, she ducks back up the ramp for her weapons just inside the hatch, and returns with blades in hands.

Almost as if on que with Jax and Ax's 'bad feelings', the sounds of some sort of struggle can be heard just on the other side of the door leading out into the main corridor of the star port. What sounds like raised voices turns into the sound of blaster fire, then an explosion.

The raised voices and the way the boss and Jax started to act funny had already placed Nez on edge, turning his attention towards the doorway. It's when the sound of an explosion pops off that Nez dips down in reaction, moving quickly for a place of cover. "Sithspit!" With that, he pulls his A280 from his back and readies for the incoming fight.

Kadi's eyes widen, and she promptly ... or not so promptly, because she's sick ... gets out of her chair and finds cover behind some of the big crates. She has her blaster, mind you, but she ducks under cover, and doesn't aim it at anything. Hopefully she doesn't sneeze and give herself away.

Ax makes a gesture towards his wife as he reaches for his lightsaber. It wasn't the offensive capabilities of it that he was after, but the defensive ones. "Get to cover," he calls out. With a snap-hiss, the bright blue blade comes to life.

Jax's on the to cover. He slides in behind some crates that are NOT fuel cells laying next to the Liquid Diet. He pulls out his DL-30. His eyes scanning over to the Warrior looking for Sesti. Though he hadn't seen her and knowing that's not a bad thing. He calls out to Ax, "I swear it wasn't me. This time."

Cover, check. That's what Kadi's doing. She's ducking and hiding, and staying where nobody can see her. Course, she's not heading for the turbolift, cause she doesn't want to get caught there by herself. She pulls out her blaster, and looks at it, wide eyed. A small sniffle, and then she covers her nose and mouth with a tissue, doing her best to not sneeze. Not sneeze. Oh, man, she really has to sneeze...

She's already dropped from the ramp when the explosion happens, and, unlike most people, Sesti actually dodges towards the blast. It's possible that Jax and others still don't see her as she moves behind the crates and other cargo type stuff stacked around the hangar. She's to the side of the door, and holds her blades ready, but silent as she presses her back to her cover and looks over her shoulder.

The Wayards security alarm was now on full blast, alerting all Wayward sentries and guards to the incoming threat. Scrambling, the Wayward guards duck and weave to find cover, all preparing their weapons for the incoming fight. The exterior doors practically bursts open as a wave of sentients of all races come rushing in, blasters blazing. A large Gamorrean seems to be leading one squad of one of thugs, carrying a repeating blaster, fully opening fire and giving commands to his squad to duck for cover. Another squad pours in, this one lead by a Trandoshan with a vibroblade, charging head on into the Waywards. Then there comes what seems to be the leader of the group, a full armored figure wearing beskar plating, probably Mandalorian. "Jax Greystorm! Nezlani Bebarv! Show yourself! Let's end this quickly before we hurt too many of your friends!"

To that, Nez passes a confused glance to Jax before. To him he mouths a series of words. "What? People are after us? What did we do?"

Putting himself in front of Kadi to offer his wife the utmost of protection, Ax looks to the incoming assailants. "You've got two seconds to get out of here alive," he calls out, putting as much inflection into his voice as he can muster. Already, he was summing up the biggest threat, wondering how he could eliminate that as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Jax groans from behind his cover. "Alright maybe it was me. How do I piss off so many people? I only ever steal Ax's booze. Most the time. Maybe Mandl's been using my name?" That was mostly to Jax. He takes a brief moment and then he calls out louder, "I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen."

There's a soft stifled sneeze from behind the crates. Nobody heard that, right? Right! Then Kadi peeks out, very carefully, eyes wide, but a set tilt to her chin. She ducks back again, after taking a good look at what is incoming.

As the bad folks charge in, Sesti makes eye contact with the Trandoshan. She doesn't like trandoshans, and he's not going to like her, either. She presses the button on the hilt and the blade humms as she quick steps towards him, the humming growing and receeding in volume as she flashes out with her blade twice, and finishes with the vibro-dagger in her other hand.

With a snarl, the Mando looks towards Ax and quickdraws a pair of heavy blaster pistols, reacting to the lightsaber wielding guy by firing off a volley of blaster fire at the man. The Gamorrean reacts in time, opening fire on Ax. Charging full on at him, just past the barrels that Sesti is hiding behind is the Trandoshan, rearing his blade back to strike at him. Then he hears just the faintest of movement from behind a barrel and he spins in place to see Sesti. His blade comes up at the ready to defend against her attacks. It is of little use, however as Sesti's makes it's mark going right through his guard and drops him quickly. The rest of the thugs simply full on open fire at the remaining crew, not bothering to engage the lightsaber wielding lunatic just yet. A pair of the thugs near Sesti turn towards her and open fire in response to their lost leader. Two more thugs shoot at Jax, another two at Nez, and two more at Kadi.

With the guns blazing, Nez pops up form his post to return fire, taking aim at one of the thugs and squeezing the trigger. Out comes a flash of red hot energy, beaming straight at him.

Ax deflects the blaster bolts that were coming at him away with ease, batting them out of the air with a simple swing. He then makes a move towards the Mando leader, his swings not nearly as practiced as those for deflecting blaster bolts. Instantly, he knows he should have just shot them.

Jax trusts those he fights with and doesn't fret over his wife when she enganges the giant space lizard. She's handled his kind before. The mando well Ax had him in hand. It was Jax's job to keep his teams back. He takes aim at the gamorean his dl-40 held in one hand. He squeezes off three shots. Two of them striking true. The Corellian calling out, "Hey Mando! You going to deal with the one with the lightsaber or you going to come here for the one you want?"

Kadi thought she was under good cover, but a couple shots come her way. One makes her flinch, but misses, the second one stings as it wings her. She closes her eyes, hiding the tears of pain as she sneezes, and then she peeks again, this time blaster first. There's someone in her sights, she hopes it's the slimeball who shot her, and she aims, closes her eyes, and then opens them again. Kadi fires!

Her cover is blown as the reptile goes down, but, cover has other uses. With a spin, Sesti puts a foot to a box, and then another up onto a crate, then lightly steps to one more to come down behind the two that try to track her movements with their blasters and miss. As she rises from her crouched landing, the dagger comes up first, followed by a swing of the blade.

Ducking and weaving under Ax's untrained lightsaber strokes, the Mando drops one of the blasters in his hand before using that same hand to coem in with a sharp jab at Ax's face. The Gamorran having faced Ax didn't even see the bolt of red energy coming as it struck him in the back of his head, killing him instantly. Nez's own blaster bolt now fired out, pierces one of the thugs dead in the chest, a well trained shot that sends him flying to the ground. With her eyes open, and Kadi actually hit something! Though there is still one more taking aim at her, she places a bolt into the chest of his companion who had already taken extensive damage from Ax's Force abilities, now topples over. The thugs just below Sesti scramble to react, bringing their blades up in a vein attempt to counter but are swiftly cut down by her. Only one of which remains, with a wide gash across his torso.

The Mando makes his swing with a Beskar gauntlet, while two more thugs open open fire at Jax. The remaining hostile aimed at Kadi has a.. Sudden change of mind and decides to join the other thug who is shooting at Nez.

Having taken a one of them down, Nez hopefully is able to pop back up and return fire once again, squeezing his trigger towards one of the nearby thugs.

Knowing that lightsaber combat wasn't his forte, Ax shifts the blade to his right hand and an instant later, his heavy blaster is in his left. The weapon was new to him, still a bit unfamiliar, but he quickly pops off a shot. Unfortunately, the bolt only impacts some of the densest portions of the heavy armor. "Hey ass-hat!" he yells, likely trying to keep the man's attention.

Jax remaines at the position he'd tooked up. He opens fire at the two that shot at him in succession. HIs blaster bolts striking home with each targets. One of them dead for sure the other probably wishing he was dead. Then with a flick of his hand he fires at the one that had fired at Kadi and shot Nez. He calls out, "It's not too late to surrender. Your crew is dead and dying. The more of us you hurt. The less chance of mercy there will be." He looks over to Sesti. There's blood but the way she's moving, none of it's hers. He smiles and grimaces at the same time.

Kadi managed to not get hit this time, which is good. Her arm is stinging, and she's in pain. She peeks back up, trying one more shot, if she can see someone. She aims, aims, closes her eyes and fires. Well, she might be learning, but it will take a lot more work. Then she opens her eyes hopefully to see if she hit anything.

"What, did you leave a trail of Uncle Warrick's cake crumbs for them to follow?" Sesti asks her husband as she gives a nudge of her toe to the mostly dead one to see if he's going to pose any more real threat before he bleeds out. She looks around as the firing continues and besides the Mando, there's just one still standing trying to hit Nez. She runs, blades whirring towards the mercenary, dark tattoos of her face drawn into a fiercer scowl than usual.

If nothing else, the Mando and Ax could just dance together. When Ax fires with his blaster, so to does the Mando move to aim a weapon at Ax. This time, however, it's his wrist with which a stream of fire comes pouring out at him. There are about standard thugs left, one uninjured one who takes aim at Nez, one attacking Sesti with a vibrosword, and one aiming at Jax. The taking aim at Nez... The poor sap... Spots the crazy Zabrak with a vibro blade chasing after him and decides its best to try and get outta here.

Gripping his shoulder in roaring pain, Nez stumbles back from the bolt that strikes into him. Taking aim now at the Mando, trying to shrug off the pain, Nez squeezes off a shot at the heavily armored figure.

Ax moves to make another shot, and as he squeezes the trigger, he leaves himself open for that brief moment that is all the Mando needs to get a shot on him. Well, for Ax it was better in his mind to get shot than those he cared about.

The turbolift doors hiss open, revealing Adhar Gann. In this moment, Adhar stands in the doorway, beholding an armed man attempting to make an escape whilst the sounds of battle ring throughout the hangar. His hand blurs from his side, snapping the pistol up in one smooth movement, and squeezing the trigger flattens the unfortunate bastard by converting a fist-sized section of his chest into smoke and ozone.

"Sit down," Adhar roars at the suddenly very dead man, then seeks another target. No time to wonder why it's happening. A target rich environment awaits!

Jax calls out to his wife, "Possibly? I don't even know who these people are. Nez you got a clue? People have really got to tell me why they're trying to kill me." He says as he dodges a blaster shot. That's when Ax takes a shot. "Sithspawn!" As his friend takes the shot Jax peopers the Mando wit blaster fire.

Kadi takes a breath, but her arm is hurting more with each passing moment. She does take another shot, but misses, unable to keep her eyes open. That done, she just curls up, whimpering briefly. Her eyes close, and she sneezes, which makes the arm hurt more, but she doesn't scream or anything. Instead, she gingerly reaches a hand to check her arm, mutters something about being ambidextrous, and tries to start aiming again.

Sesti pulls up with an almost comical look of surprise when the mercenary turns tail to run and she has no one to fight.. since he runs straight into Addy's blaster bolt. "That is what you always say," she turns around to her husband, then points her sword at the nearest one that lies bleeding. "You, why are you here for Greystorm?"

At this point, most of the thugs are pretty much dead or dying. One nearly dead with a large gash on his chest from Sesti's blade, the other one fading out in front of Jax. Even the great Mando has fallen, causing those who are still alive to drop their weapons, putting their hands into the air. The one that Sesti points a blade at is only just barely able to even speak. "H-he took out Ol' Trolley! Boss was real mad, but word was you Wayward folks did it!" That's really all he would say at the moment.

Breathing heavily from all of the fighting and getting shot stuff, Nez pokes himself out from behind cover, weapon still at the low ready. With that, he looks over at Jax, giving the man a weak grin. "What did you do this time? They straight up -knew- your full name." That's when Nez hears the name 'Ol Trolley'. To that, he looks over at the thug and shakes his head, walking forward while gripping his shoulder.

With all the combatants dead, unconscious, or otherwise incapacitated, Ax holsters his blaster and moves towards Kadi's side. "You got hit?" he asks, ignoring his own wound, granted his movements weren't nearly as easy ang graceful as they should have been.

"What in Fortune's magical seraglio are these idiots doing in here?" Adhar walks past the man he just ventilated, marching toward Kadi and company with expression set in what one might best described as 'Exasperated Dad'. "Anyone need medical care? I've got a medpac here." Cripes, the things he walks into. And shoots in the face.

Kadi is glad when Ax comes over her way. "They're all gone?" she asks, though since he's here and not making himself a target she pretty well knows the answer. "I'm - i'll be fine, it's just a flesh wound," she says. She hopes. She reholsters the blaster, with the safety on, and sneezes again. "ow. That hurts."

The answer isn't very satisfying, but it's all Sesti's getting, so she shrugs and puts up her blades, letting Nez deal with his problem. Also, she hears Ax asking Kadi if she was hit, and that is more important at this moment. When Adhar mentions he has a med kit, she holds up her hand. "Give it here," she orders confidently, catching it when he tosses it to her. She's already opening it and going through it by the time she reaches Kadi. "Let me see."

Jax has his pistol pointed at Adhar but upon realizing it's a friendly he quickly lowers it. "Adhar. Guess we made a bit of a ruckus. Sorry about that." He holsters his blaster. "Ax, how's Kadi? How are you?" There is concern in his voice. Jax does still have one arm in a sling. "Nez you're the one that killed him, when we were on Jakku. Course the bum was trying to mug us." Jax says as he moves towards the thug still living. "You *will* tell me what you know about the boss." Did he just wave his hand at the thug.

Kadi being Kadi, when the doc starts looking at her, she simply squeezes her eyes closed, wraps one hand in Ax's and tries not to faint.

"Well, this is all very exciting," says Adhar as he tosses Sesti his medpac; once she's done and takes off for the Painted Warrior, Adhar fixes the medpac to his belt at the small of his back and looks between the two still here and all the bodies. "So what happened, you guys. Why are there corpses everywhere."

"I -will- tell you what I know about the boss." Repeats the thug Jax is talking to. "The boss goes by Jerigord Giladan, he's a Devorian. Runs a ring of slave and spice trade. He's got almost thirty ships in his fleet! Bit time guy, running the Blood Moon Brotherhood! He sent us after ya since you wacked Ol' Trolley. That's all I know, I swear!"

With that, Nez is fully up to the group, his wounds fixed by Sesti. He takes a look over at Jax, shaking his head almost in disbelief. "That's not good. That guy on Jakku wasn't just some cheap thug then, by the sounds of it. We're going to have to do something about this. But... Now we've got a name."

Jax nods at the information he hears from the injured thug. "Take your friend and leave. Get off the moon." He says moving to go through the pockets of another one of the thugs. He finds a datapad slipping it away. "Well they weren't corpses when they showed up. Seems they had a buddy on Jakku. Tht tried to mug Nez and me." He nods to Nez. "Nez shot him in the face. Guess they didn't realize who they were dealing with. How's the Array going? Sorry about the noisy neighbors." Jax looks around, "I better go make some arrangements to get this cleaned up. Ax is worried about Kadi and hurt. Keep an eye out you two. I'll be back." With that Jax takes off to find the people you hire to clean up messes liek this.

"Well that's..." Adhar frowns as he looks around the dead bodies. "We're doing fine all right, though I guess I should help clean up considering I helped add to the body count." He holsters his pistol, entirely as an afterthought. "Glad I could at least keep people from getting away."

The thugs don't even think twice about it. They don't even move to touch their weapons in anyway. Instead they simply book it, probably to seek medical attention more than anything else.

With that, he looks over at Adhar and grins. "Good to see ya old buddy. Glad to see you are doing well." With that, he gives the man a wink before looking back at Jax. "Right, Addy and I will stay posted here in case another attack comes by. You take care man."
