Background
The M-TD series (short for Minaturized Translator Droid) was an inexpensive interpretation droid from a short-lived custom line built on Kashyyykk by Wookie designers, before the arrival of the Galactic Empire.
Capabilities
The M-TD series was equipped with a repulsorlift, andwas capable of speaking its owner's language and a select few other languages specified by the owner. It lacked the full TranLang III communications module of more expensive translator and protocol droids. M-TD translator droids were equipped with a computer interface port and shutdown switch.
