Designed with sales to the Empire in mind, the 48sR is an exceptional sniper rifle, with unsurpassed accuracy. The three foot long, bipod-mount weapon consists of a thick, ion-sheathed barrel with an enhanced action mount and stock on the rear. It has increased bolt cohesion, and a spectacular active targeting computer. The only downside is that the targeting computer, when activated, is easily detectable. (OOC Note: If targeting computer active, user receives -20 difficulty bonus on all shots, however +50 difficulty penalty to any Hide-related rolls.)
