The Jedi wander GemDiver Station following a vision.

OOC Date: March 30, 2023
Location: Yavin -- GemDiver Station
Participants: Saito, Zev, Juria, Yuun and Qutha Buvu Pah as GM

The mining deck of GemDiver is a calm spot in the midst of, quite literal, storms. Extending as deeply as the station can into Yavin Prime's turbulent atmosphere with the intent of gathering rare and valuable Corusca gems. Why the Jedi have come here, today, in a place much more visible than other wanderings? The best explanation given by the Zelosian mystic who called any followers after him was "Because I was told we should be here."

A casual word to the guards saw the doors opened, the mind cajoled to see the Jedi as nothing worth noting before they passed into the area here only droids worked, marked as 'nothing suspicious' by a touch of The Force's influence on the guards.

Cargo pods were offloading and service droids were working steadily to sort and Qutha leads deeper into the works of the mining decks, "Reach out..." head turning to the lepi in their midst, "Even you may find sommat you was meant to. Th'Force is'r ally annit directs us as we're needed, or 'tended t'be... as y' fellows here kin give theys own 'pinion and interpretation'."

The red-haired man that enters the mining decks of the station sertainly recognises Qutha. He rememberss him from his first day in Tempis. He received the call to come to the station and decided to do just that. As he arrives, he offers polite nods to the other Jedi that are gattered here. He nods to Qutha. "How are we supposed to know what to look for, Qutha?" he asks, tilting his head in curiosity. "I mean I'm looking for something.. I think I need it but I don't know if me having at at this time is the will of the force," he muses.

"You won't really know what you're looking for until you find it." Zev says in response to Saito, "The last time he had one of these, I found a kyber crystal."

The Lepi has been hopping along after Qutha, having been grabbed up by him after he had another vision. It was successful the last time, so Zev wasn't about to say no. He stops and looks at one of the cargo pods as it floats by, "What are they mining?"

Juria picks her way through the old mining facility. The storms having done a number on her clothes which are in sharp contrast to the robes worn by the other Jedi present. The hood flutters in the wind, pushed back off her blonde hair, leaving it damp as they descend. "You'll feel it." She says in her quiet voice, sliding up closer to Saito to answer the question.. "It'll be like... like remembering a song after singing a few words." She grins, easy and wide, "Then the harmony will be so familiar you wondered how you ever forgot it in the first place."

She walks backwards a step extending her fingers to trace along some old equipment. "And if you're not meant to have it, you wouldn't be here. If you were drawn.. if we were all drawn.. then it's the will of the Force." She lifts the finger once sliding across the equipment, "Because nothing ever happens for no reason."

Yuun is with the group having felt he should come as well, he enjoyed outings like this and honestly the Jedi Knight has been quite quiet as of late. So here he is walking with the others. Moving through the mining facility, he does reach out in the force to see what he's able to sense himself. Heck maybe he can find something as well. As he walks he looks to the three newer members of the Order.

'N'that, Saito, tis of'n the rub. Did we daydream'r did we have a vision? Are we feelin' a pull? Or are we jus' self-talkin' away our own desires..."

Twisting to one side, unhurriedly, when a pair of mining droids whirr past with a small cart carried between them, Qutha continues to walk with an aimless ambling quality to his movements. Turning to walk backwards, following some unseen guide that directs him around obstacles such as a sorting tub and out of the way of more droids - as though to prove Juria's point, consciously or otherwise.

"I think she'd put it more el'quint'lee than I e'r could, but that'd be the best jist..." finally turning back around in his steps, hands folding behind his back. The winds cut out when hatches close on the level, preparing for the next auto-miner wave to return while the current finishes offloading.

"Er'thing's as The Force wills it... so fear nothin', for it is as y'er intended t'be."

One arm is raised, bent over his own shoulder and pointing to Saito with eerie accuracy, or maybe less so if one is familiar with the Zelosian mystic's particular ways, "Saito... reach out, mayhap... Tell us whatcher feel?"

"Hello, Zev," Saito offers a friendly wave to the other Jedi, lips curving into a smile. "Well, to be honest.. Thats exactly what I'm looking for," he admits, nodding to Juri. "Thank you, master.. I'll just let the force guide me and put myy full trust in it." he notices Yuun, offering a wave to the Jedi Knight, before hee reaches out into the force, curious to see what, if anything, he will find. He turns his head when Qutha speaks and tries to concentrate. "I don't feel nothing yet," he admits in a steady tone, continuing to walk among all the equipment.

While Juria is no mystic, at least not in the way the Zelosian is, she does move as if guided by unseen hands. Even when she's walking backwards ahead of the others, only a step or two, she moves herself side to side to avoid any of the droids carrying equipment and boxes on their programmed paths. With a little skip, she turns and smiles to the Zelosian. Green eyes moving to Saito, "Breath.." She puts a hand to her own chest, not necessarily closing her eyes but letting the lids flutter gently across them.

"Exhale." She moves slowly, a wave of her neck like dancing in the seat of a speeder car. Gently humming the words to a popular Corellian song. Her fingers lift, wiggling, a hand floating in the aquatic flow of the force.. with her hand extending out to curl all but one finger in a point further down the corridor. She's not directing them, but herself.

"~Joo jeia tu.. We are the wave.. Come and dance with me.." A smile curls across her face, shaking her vest once the doors slide closed behind her. "You will." Feel something. "Trust yourself. It's there, just reach out and touch it."

Zev has been practicing his meditation, wanting to get better at it. As a result he has, in turn, actually gotten a bit better at it.

When his ears pick up on that song they turn towards it, and he opens his eyes back up, "I hear something. Down a ways that way." He motions down towards the sorting areas down the metallic pathways, "I mean I hear a lot of things down there, but this is different."

Yuun looks towards the others, he does move as the droids whirr about and he smiles as he keeps up with the others. He nods his head as Qutha speaks to Saito, "I did have a question for you all." he says as he looks around, keeping his eyes scanning the area as well as his senses on alert. The older Knight and known Blademaster smiles as he moves, his hands clasped behind him.

He quirks his brow up at Juria, he smiles as he listens to her and he looks to Saito, "Hello Padawan Saito, honestly hello everyone." he smiles. "Sorry for being a bit MIA as of late." he chuckles, been a little busy with a few things but now that thigns have slowed a little, I will be more available again to you all." he chuckles. He stops chcukling after a moment as his attention is caught, "Hmmm...." he says as he begins moving in a direction he feels something pulsing. He looks to Zev, "Zev you take the lead." he smiles.

When Juria's gaze falls on him, Qutha's return smile is bright and genuine as he presses his palms together, fingers curling over the edges of his hands and he gives a small bow to her. Acknowledging the wisdom she is imparting while they wander on the backs of unseen currents. His steps carrying him to walk before Saito now, facing the young man and strolling backwards.

"Speak, a'course, Yuun, quest'n away." emerald coloured eyes flicking towards the other momentarily, then returning to the red haired padawan, "N'yes, breathe. Al'us r'mem'er t'breathe." he seems content to let the Lepi lead as Yuun directs Zev, his walk changing again as though to make room and one hand drifts out as if beckoning for Juria.

"In m'terpretations... Th'way y'find best for y'se'f is the best. An even if y'er perspective do'an' feel true t'others. There's reas'n y'come to it." another vague gesture, "Yuun thinks inward, till he turns full circle back out. Juria is like water... she flows n'like water she's musical. Zev's led b'his guts, instinct and curiosity." one finger lifting, "Or so's how I sees it. They's might sees it diff'rn, in theyselves, an' th'others."

More droids blunder through, on their errands, one with a secured storage compartment on its chest carrying a corusca the size of a child's fist. With it the sensation that some are following after seems to dance and wander, undiminished by the cacophony of the mining levels. If nothing else, it seems to ring clearer as though by design.

"So's, Saito. Knowin' how I see's the others, knowin' you mayhap does differen', let'er all flow 'round you, listen'n ignore. Fin' y'own path, or mayhap follow another's till it he'ps you find y'own."

Saito continues to walk amidst all the equipment. He watches Juria for a moments and offers her a grateful smile. "Thank you, master," he says to her in a polite, friendly way. "Hello, master Yuun," the padawan greets the blademaster with the same politeness. Slowly, he turns to Zev. "What do you hear, Zev?" he asks. Slowly, he turns to Yuun. "I guess we all understand, master.. I mean each one of us has our own duties, not to mention training," the red-haired Jedii offers a smile to the knight. When Qutha approaches him, the padawan listens with atention, nodding at his words of wisdom. "Thank you, qutha.." And it seems the words that were profered by the other Jedi were just what the padawan needs. He reaches out with the force, closing his eyes and trying too simply not think. "This sound.. Its so.. Beautiful.." the padawan murmurs. He dodges out of the way of a passing droid even before the droid appears and starts to simply follow the sound, his steps taking him to a section marked junk/refuse.

Moving Meditation has always suited Zev better than static meditation. He put his effort into listening to the sound. The machinery is louder here, and the song quieter, "It's a song." Zev replies, as he runs one of his fingers along a railing, listening through the vibrations of the rail as machines work and humm around him, and small rocks and dust around his feet begin to lift off the ground as he walks through them, trying to focus through the noise.

The threads of the Force are sometimes an eb and flow of feelings and even with the music so clear in her senses, it fades behind a cloud as she attempts to explain it to Saito. Which could be considered frustrating. If only a little... She glances in the direction she'd heard the melody, something distant and illusive, but only smiles when it becomes further away and clouded by the sounds of machinery.

She peers over at Saito and motions out as he says he's heard it. "Clearly the Force wants you to know something far more than me." Her grin only grows, nodding for him to move ahead. "Show us what it wants you to see."

Yuun feels the presence and the tone is very clear to him, he watches Zev to see if he continues to move in the right direction. His thoughts aren't stopped, honestly as Yuun looks at the group, he's amazed at how long he's been a Jedi. "Yes, I know that, but still many of you I don't know as well as I wish and I'm going to be changing that." he chuckles.

Yuun seems to be enjoying himself as he has taken it upon himself to just slide past the droids as they come here and there making it a bit of a game to himself. "My question was for each of you. First, I do hear the tone, it sounds like music that I enjoy. With that being said, when you calm yourself and immerse yourself in the Force, what does it feel like to you?" he asks.

Wandering on the currents of song that has woven its way through each of the jedi that walk this level of the station. They shouldn't be here, in all honesty. Technically trespassing, but following something tied to the primal core of reality rather than mortal restrictions.

Led on by Saito's path to a room where hunks of stone compressed by the intense pressures of Yavin's gravity, but deemed of little or no worth, have been deposited. Destined for grinders to be sent out into the gas giant's atmosphere to renew the cycle, to be turned to resources for duracrete, or in some cases re-sorted for 'junk' jewelry or otherwise.

"One kin ne'r know er'one as fully as they'd wish, not even y'self, Yuun." one corner of Qutha's mouth lifting a little higher, "N'I h'ain' got a singular way I feel Th'Force, tell true. But I h'ain' risen from Th'Force in a long... long while now."

In truth, when seen on Tempes - the Zelosian is more often simply wandering. Even in his daily chores, there is no schedule, only done when 'they need be done.'

The guided path of unseen threads now begins to weave through this sorting room for 'junk', the tone rising and falling, but not leaving to meander elsewhere.

"I hope this doesn't sound too weird, master but.." the red-haired Jedi starts to speak and pauses, as if trying ot best explain the senssation. "It feels like the calling of a good friend.. Its like I know that when I get there I'll find what I need, not exactly what I want.. It is warm, peaceful and conforting.. Like whatever is calling will always be with me.. As for the tone that I hear, it is.." he tilts his head, paying close atention. "Sad, melancholic yet.. Hopeful, at the same time.. It is.. Dificult to explain.." The young pilot blinks as the group finds the stones. There is confusion in his eyes for a moment before he closes them, atempting to immersse himself in the force and let it guide him. He walks to a specific pile of stones and pauses. "It is here," the youth murmurs, feeling something calling to him from that specific pile off what others considered junk.

"It's a song I used to hear when I was young." Zev replies to Yuun, "Before the Jedi found me." He continues to follow, his focus on trying to follow the sound, so he doesn't see the low hanging pipe that he whacks his head into, all the little debris around him dropping to the ground as his hand comes up to rub his forehead.

Picking her path very intentionally, ducking when she should, turning as if moved by hands turning her down some guidance. IT makes sense, at least to her, and potentially to whatever might be pushing her along. The fact they all seem to be going in the same direction only solidifies her opinion on the matter. A smile resides on her face unmolested by the temporary loss of the melody she'd been hearing, with green eyes now regarding Yuun.

"To me, it feels like a book I'm excited to read.. Slowly turning pages and gaining new bits of detail about the story. I mean, I've always been very inquisitive." She explains, bringing her hand up to brush a droid buzzing past off to one side so that it only barely interrupts its programmed flight path. "It's always guided me where I was needed, if not necessarily where I want to be." Which, she grins at that and shrugs.

"You know what they say about curious people, though."

They wind up in junk piles.

There's a melodic giggle from the blonde woman. Moving bits of garbage from and junk from her path with the end of one insulated boot. "That doesn't sound weird at all. The Force IS your friend... old and new... everything.. It's the air..." She nods to the garbage, "All of this.. It connects and binds and weaves... Every note, every breeze.. Answers and questions. It's mysterious and illusive.. and always changing."

Which leads her, as if completely by happenstance, towards the sorter belt near the grinders. She looks around and smiles, a knowing, almost amused expression, when she reaches out and plucks something from a couple scrap pieces of metal and wiring. "Well, hello there." The small stone is held in both hands, clapped to her chest.

Looking towards Qutha, "Yeah I know." he smiles. Yuun listens to them all as they speak, and honestly some sound familiar to what others have said in the past. Yuun nods to each Jedi, he starts to speak but as he does he turns his head as he looks in the direction the song that he loves seems to be playing a bit louder for him. Yuun walks over a sorting tray and as he does he looks at some of the broken and cut crystals and as he looks at them, he reaches out for one in particular.

Reaching down he picks up a hunk of Jelucani fogstone the size of a softball. He closes his eyes as he focuses on the crystal, having gone quiet.

"I understand, master," Saito replies to Juria with a nod. And it seems like he kind of really does. "The force sends us where we are needed, not exactly where we want," he comments, eyes becoming thoughtful for a moment. He offers a warm smile to her when he notices that hse has found a crystal. He glances to Yuun and nods to the Jedi knight. Next he turns to Zev. "Do you need help, Zev?" he asks the other padawan. Only then he turns to the large pile of stones infront of him. He jestures with a hand, the stones lifting of of the ground slowly, Saito easilly keeping them suspended in the air. He smiles with happiness as he reaches out with his hand and finally closes his fist around the kyber crystal that floates next to him. He holds it with reverence, fingers caressing its surface.

Juria turns over her palm and opens it around a Corusca gem. She moves that hand out so a beam of light radiates down upon it, casting off a glow like one might see from a distance sun setting over the horizon of her hand. Slowly turning until it disappears, dipping beneath the curve of her fingers until it rolls up into them. "Exactly." She says to Saito with a smile, nodding. "Something my father use to say, long before I ever realized I could feel the Force... and a decade before I ever found the Order.." She points in his direction, cupping the small stone in her grip, "No matter where you go? There you are."

"I'm good." Zev replies, as he rubs his forehead a little bit. When he lowers his hand he spots the crystal for a moment before Saito closes his fist around it, giving him a nod as he acknowledges it, "It looks like a good one."

Yuun seems to study the large crystal, hearing the song coming from the crystal. He closes his eyes and continues to feel the force around the crystal, and slowly after a few moments, he opens his eyes and looks to the others. "Qutha, you're right." he says as he looks to him. "We're always learning, we have to, if we don't then we aren't going to be able to grow." he says. He places the crystal in a bag he has with him. He would need to, "Did you all find what you felt calling to you?" he asks. Thinking for a moment and as they leave, Yuun would pass off the crystal he found and gives it to the one who allowed them to come and look around. This is a pretty interesting crystal, but not one he can use himself.
