Royal Decree and Nae Tama

OOC Date: July 22, 2019
Location: Theed University, Theed, Naboo
Participants: Jessika Pava, Rey, Aryn Cole

Theed University, Theed, Naboo

Communication was sent beforehand that Dr. Cole was returning with a personal escort to remove the bio-threat from the safety of Theed University's vault and take it away from the city, the world, the system even. Aryn had just arrived from a mission the night before whose aftermath left her incapable of finding rest. She was still in the armor she'd worn on the mission, and carrying all the tools of a soldier on her belt. She could be found by one of the fountains in the courtyard, staring into the clear water to study the moss covered marble. Where her thoughts were remained to be seen, but Aryn felt lost and haunted. She had allowed her hair to be free of constraint, so when the wind blew it carried with it the bright blonde strands that crossed her face and tickled her cheeks. She had clipped a dark cape to her pauldrons to conceal, from plain sight, the arsenal she had stored upon her belt.

Rey had been on Arisnar at the Academy. There were quite a few people there these days that needed guidance and attention from her, so she was certain to make time for them. But this life was one of being needed in many different places, thank goodness for the Falcon, for Chewbacca and the kindness that the Wookiee showed to her by making sure she was every she was needed.

Here and now, Rey arrives, her light tan colored clothing flowing about her form as she moves in the directions she was given to find Aryn.

With the light hood on her tan clothing pulled up over her head, it keeps her dark hair mostly covered, tied back within the hood, Rey's face peers out from within said hood. She looks this way and that as she moves through the university, having spent a little time touring the grounds once before she knows some of where she's headed.

When she finds Aryn, she raises a hand to signal the other upon her approach, walking at a casual stride to meet up with her, her left hand raising up to push her tan hued hood off of her head to let it fall back behind her shoulders.

She has a meeting time and a meeting place. What she doesn't have is a social attitude. Looking more stern-faced than ever, Jessika Pava arrives to find Doctor Cole and another present. Much like the other day, she's wearing boots, trousers, and a loose top that she leaves untucked, but pinned against her left hip by the pouches containing the extra power packs for her blaster. This time, her hair is up and kept out of her face. She knows this is no social call. It's something far more formal, even if she's not wearing any identifying uniform to mark her as one of the Resistance. There are reasons for that which go beyond just not wanting people to place her face to the organization. In this capacity, it would be easy to assume she is a simple bodyguard.

"You don't have to do this, you know," Jessika speaks low enough to Aryn that only she can distinguish the words. She doesn't whisper, though. Whispering is a surefire way to draw attention. "I can retrieve and take the canister by myself. I had it in my possession before bringing it to you." Although her features remain stern, there's a measure of comfort and reassurance in Jessika's voice. She's giving the Doctor a way out of having to be anywhere near the container. "After yesterday, you should and need to rest."

It would be easy to shuck the responsibility of seeing this through; to walk away and cast the weight of stress away to replace it with ignorance, but the things they've seen cannot be unseen. Even a small strand of this threat could destroy the denizens of a city, of a planet. It spreads like a fire.

Rey's approach was felt as she stepped within range of what Aryn considered to be her bubble of perception. Yet it was not Rey she acknowledged first, it was Jess. She turned her head, blinking for what felt like the first time. "You are right, but even if I left to sleep now, I could not. This is just something I have to do; maybe not for the safety of Theed, but for my own conscience, as selfish as that sounds. I need to see us take it away from here."

Aryn turns her head finally to regard Rey. She takes a moment to sweep her own blonde hair out of her face so she can see the Jedi without obstacle. "Hello Rey. I'm sorry you had to make this trip, but this is important. Jessika and I have stumbled across something we cannot explain. I would try to explain it to you, but it's better if you see it yourself." Aryn gestures to the university. "Scientists have it locked away in a vault and contained. We're under diplomatic authority to remove it from the vault and escort whatever this substance is off world."

A gesture is made toward Captain Pava. "I've asked Jessika to come because she has the most experience fighting it."

Rey only catches some of what Jessika is saying, but she doesn't wish to intrude on a conversation in-progress so she just folds her hands together in front of her lap and when she's regarded she at first shows a smile to them both. "Hey." She says in a quiet breathy tone of voice since the subject going on here is tackled instant and the further Aryn speaks on it the more dire it truly sounds.

In fact, Rey's dark flat eyebrows start to raise up a little higher with each word she hears on the matter. She darts her brown eyes between Jessika and Aryn before she takes in a light breath.

"This sounds... terrible." She says to them both. "It cannot simply be... destroyed? Or killed?"

A look is given to Jessika then. "You've fought it?" She asks, now assuming its some kind of sentient alien creature, though it sounds like an odd one to say the very least!

Although not happy with the answer, Jessika understands it, and shows acceptance of that understanding with a nod at Aryn. "I understand." Jessika shifts her gaze to Rey and odds a second one, though this one is a greeting. Her arms lift and fold, with her left arm tucking under her right and her right hand sinking into the subtle gap left between her biceps and her chest. She regards the two as Aryn explains the purpose of their meeting here and the mission that they've come to accomplish. It had never occured to her to alert Rey to this situation, and now she wonders if this.. thing they're dealing with might have something to do with the Force. Once again, she's reminded of her insignificance in a universe she's only seen a speck of.

At the mention of being the most experienced in fighting it, and at the question Rey poses her, Jessika is quick to shake her head. "I wouldn't say I've fought it. Not really. You can't really.. fight it. Whatever creatures this thing attaches to seem impervious to pain. Even blasters won't put it down. I just seem unaffected by it, unlike Aryn. I removed the insect from the expedition member on Umgul and brought it to Aryn to see if she might have a colleague who could tell us more about it. I never expected it would lead to this." Now that Rey is up to date on her involvement, Jessika's arms uncross and she gestures towards their destination. "We should go. The longer this thing is here, the more danger people are in. I'll feel safer when we have it in space."

"Fire is the only weakness I've seen that makes it retreat. Our mission last night, a Mandalorian tried to use fire solely, and was not successful despite her best efforts. We were forced to retreat." Aryn answers the question Rey posed, before turning to look at Jessika who spoke a bit more at length about it.

At her conclusion, Aryn nods. "Agreed." Aryn nods to Jessika, and steps after her with an easy gait. The lengths of Aryn's dark cape catch the influence of the wind and waves gently. It's the wind of an approaching storm judging from the cooler air and darkening horizon. Aryn regards Rey as she walks. "Whatever this is.. it only takes a drop from it to infect someone. And its presence.. its presence can be felt in the force; Rey, it's the most concentrated feeling of.. evil, I have ever felt."

Their walk takes them into the university, following a stone path that leads to an underground facility that's shut off by reinforced doors and placed under guard. Their approach warrants his attention and he steps out to intercept. Before he can challenge them, Aryn speaks and offers him the datapad displaying the Royal Orders to grant them permission to go further. Seeing the sigil the guard straightens up without a word, and marches back to his security booth to open the doors for them. Aryn is returned her datapad, and they are allowed to step inside and follow the corridors to a biological vault.

Both of what they say to her is listened closely to, her eyes darting from one to the other. But before they can walk toward wherever it is being stored, Rey's gaze darts back to Jessika. "And you're... immune to this thing?" She has to clarify in her head. Though Aryn's use of the word 'evil' is certainly left to bounce about inside of her mind. Evil is an interesting word, after all. One laced in many possible meanings and origins, outcomes and opinions.

As they walk though, Rey's hands remain at her sides. She'll look to the exchange with the guard and Aryn's datapad. She'll pass by said guard and offer them a quiet 'thank you' for their service and assistance in all of this very strange situation.

It would be impossible to say that Rey's curiosity isn't piqued though, a tiny little infectious substance rooted in the Force and evil sensations? Thats a fascinating concept after all she's learned and continues to study. "Where is this... substance, headed for?" She then asks of Aryn.

"Immune? No. I just don't get sick around it, like Aryn does. I guess that's a Force thing." It's not a topic she knows anything about, but it makes sense. The only one she's ever seen look as if they're physically ill around it is Aryn. Such talk is through once they're reached their destination. Jessika regards the exchange between Aryn and the guard with silence, but ensures that she is the one in the lead as the doors to the underground facility open and allow them access. Her footfalls carry in the corridor, and Jessika finds herself with a slight sense of unease. It has nothing to do with the container they're coming to pick up, though. She just doesn't like being in enclosed spaces that she's not familiar with. She doesn't show it.

"We're picking it up and taking it to the Ghost. From there, Major Dameron and I will wait for High Command to make a determination. I'm going to recommend we dispense of the sample in a star. It's the only sure way to destroy it." She keeps her voice low again, intent only on speaking with her companions rather than announcing everything to anyone they might be passing by. She has less concerns about it here, though, than she did out in the street. "It's not going to solve the big problem. I don't know how we're even going to begin to tackle that one, but one thing at a time. Hopefully now that we know a few things about it, we'll be able to start looking for more information on it."

The door seals behind them. It's security protocol, but they can see the terminal to the left that's a direct link to the checkpoint outside. Inside, the corridors are dimly lit with amber hued lights. The floor is smoothed duracrete that gleans dull-like beneath the glare of the lights. Each corridor has sealed doorways, and are labeled for purpose. Some are medical oriented, some are geological, and the list goes on.

As they begin to head toward the furthest back corridor, Aryn feels a weight on her chest and it makes her audibly catch her breathing. It's happening again. Her steps slow, and she has to lean onto the wall next to her. "Oh.. something isn't right. Something's wrong.. something's wrong... Jessika.. take this."

Aryn passes the multi-toggled blaster to the Black Squadron veteran. Then she holds her head as the imposing presence invades her mind once more. It's a sickening feeling. Like dread setting into place and hovering above like a stormcloud. Looming and shadowlike, the presence makes itself known.

Further down the hall, Aryn's premonition carries truth to it. The vault is open, the light inside is flickering. The booted foot of someone sticks from the crack of the door in the threshold. Judging from its position its own lay on the ground, but the foot twitches. The smell of sweet rot is strong here.

The foot is drawn from view, and the door is pushed open. It's not one person, but three. Glazed and pale eyes stare unblinking. Two of them wear the guard uniform and carry batons. The third is a smaller woman, wearing a lapcoat. She's recognized as Nae Tama.

A light nod is given to Jessika's explanation for her and then she looks to Aryn. "I would agree, whatever this is should likely be disposed of in whatever fashion is most appropriate. If its not a living creature then its a substance of ill-intent. Like a biological weapon of sorts... perhaps designed for use against Force sensitives themselves..."

She trails off her words when Aryn's reaction starts and its then that she moves to place a hand onto Aryn's shoulder. The presence of the dark side of the Force tickles the back of her mind, but she's not suffering quite like Aryn is and there could be a number of different reasons for that.

"We need to find you a place to sit." Rey is saying to Aryn when the three individuals arrive on the scene ahead...

Rey's eyes turn to them, hand still on Aryn's shoulder she doesn't know these people, who they are or why they might be here. Are they apart of this whole security team guarding this substance? Something feels off though... very off...

Maybe it's because she's attuned to the situation that she hears Aryn's footfalls start to slow. Maybe it's because of the flickering lights up ahead that hers do, too. Within moments of both seeing the lights and hearing Aryn's change in pace, Jessika starts to stop, too. Then Aryn is speaking, and Jessika's chin turns fast to set her gaze on the noble woman. She's not doing well again, and there's a weapon being held out to her. She recognizes it for what it is, and takes it in her left hand. She's also bringing her right hand back. Again, the brief flash of skin around her hip and lower back displays itself to those around her so her hand can get around the handle of her sidearm. She yanks it free from the holster, and readies it for use.

"I don't know if it's sentient or not, but I do know it controls people. A lot like that." Jessika nods towards the individuals that are standing in the doorway where the foot was dragged in. "We can't let them pass us, and this place needs to be locked down. If it's taken those people over, that means it's loose." Rather than fear, Jessika feels anger come over her. "How did this even happen? They were supposed to take every precaution." It's then that Jessika recognizes the woman in the labcoat. "I bet your Lady friend just couldn't help her curiosity." Jessika raises her blaster and prepares for what she knows is coming. "You can't kill them. Not conventionally. Disable their limbs."

"Killlllll." The distorted voices said in unison, and began to approach. No concern for cover, for their safety even in the face of a soldier drawing their weapon. Aryn slides down the wall holding her head. "Ugh.. I can't focus. It's too overwhelming.. I am no use here." A gesture is made to Jess. "Protect her, please. I'm going to move back to the guard and have him issue a high priority distress signal. If we cannot contain this, the city is in danger." Aryn looks over to see Nae when Jessika points her out. "Damn you Nae. Damn you! You couldn't let it rest. You had to be the one to find all the answers.." Aryn is on the verge of crying and there's no conviction in her for a fight. She can't face a familiar face. This does not stop her from sliding her lightsaber hilt free from her belt. "Please.. be safe. I will return with help."

Aryn turns then and runs down the corridor.

Rey tries to make sure that Aryn doesn't drop to the ground in a harmful way, but when the aristocratic Jedi Initiate is back up and moving to go find help, Rey nods her head once to her and turns to move beside to that of Jessika. "Their limbs." She repeats. "Lets see then..."

There's a clip sound from Rey's waist as she takes hold of her own lightsaber hilt, but does not activate it. Instead, Rey's free hand is reaching up toward the individual to block them behind a telekinetic wall...

The hope is to keep them from progressing further, so that Jessika can have an easier free-reign of targeting their extremities!

Rather than acknowledging Aryn's situation, Jessika keeps her gaze focused where it counts for the moment: the trio of individuals. Aryn doesn't need Jessika's verbal reply to initiate her plan, so she puts her talents to work where they're most useful, and that's attempting to make sure that the creatures don't have one of their most useful tools available to them. Rather than go for center mass, Jessika orients the barrel of her sidearm towards more vulnerable parts. Sighting down the top of the barrel, Jessika aims for the knee of the arrogant woman once known as Nama Tae. She doesn't know what to call her now. She doesn't care. A squeeze of the trigger makes the sidearm report, and a red blaster bolt smashes into her target's knee.

She orients her blaster towards the second and repeats the process. The first shot misses, but the next hits true, striking the floating bone kept in place by ligaments sensitive to the process of walking. Or running. Any kind of movement with the leg, really. Jessika doesn't hear any lightsabers coming on, but she can't chance looking. Her dark-eyes have to remain forward, to ensure she's ready to deal with anything coming her way. "I should have brought that rekking scatter gun," she mutters to herself, hating that she'd allowed herself the complacency of believing the people at this facility could keep this situation contained.

"Just who the rekk are you?!" A guard says when Aryn runs right into his chest and spills backward. That's when blaster fire sounds behind Aryn, from the direction she came from. The guard glares down at her, reaching out to take her by the chestplate collar of her armor to lift her up. "Let me go!" Aryn screamed just as the guard slammed her back against the wall to pin her there. His free hand pulls a blaster of his own and levels it point blank with her stomach. "You're not going anywhere until I find out what's going on! There's blaster fire coming from down there!"--

"Listen, there's a containment breach. We have to send a warning. It has to stay contained here--" "I'm not falling for that one again. Last time it was medical drugs.. now?" He pushed Aryn harder against the wall, her feet inches from the ground. "Please.. let me go.. you don't understand." -- "What I understand is you and your friends are about to spend a long time in lock up, kid." Aryn has to make a choice, her lightsaber still held in her hand. Her eyes dart to his face matching his glare, then turn back to the hallway. What does she do?!

Meanwhile the three are now two, and they are held in place, but a black substance begins to emerge from their eyes and mouths. Even Nae's body begins to release it. This oily substance increased the smell of rot, and seems uneffected by Rey's stasis.

The telekinetic field is only capable of stopping the individuals, hopefully to keep allowing Jessika an easier time to incapacitate them!

Unfortunately Rey is entirely unaware of Aryn being accosted by a confused guard beyond the turn of the hallway, so there's nothing she can do there. Its not until she witnesses that black filth spilling from the three bodies before she and Jessika that she raises her lightsaber up, so that its emitter shroud is pointed toward the ceiling well above their heads.

The bright blue beam activates and its glowing glare fills the corridor between them and their new enemie in this strange dark sludge.

"Keep firing." Rey says to Jessika, as if she really had to! "I'll cut it down if it comes anywhere near us!" Surely this stuff is not impervious to a lightsaber's blade if it falls to fire, right? This is a new kind of foe though, to be sure...

"We need to find some way to incapacitate it! I can't shoot water!" She knows she has Aryn's blaster in hand, but she'd also seen the ineffectiveness of a Mandalorian's flamethrower against the creatures. She doubts it's going to help her much. That doesn't stop her from putting a blaster bolt into her final target's knee after missing the first time around. Her final shot she tries to go with Rey's plan, anyway, and unleashes a lance of red energy at the inky substance trying to seep out from the orifices of the infected individuals. Her hands are full. She can't go for her commlink. Not that there's anything anyone on the other end can do for her. "Can you, I dunno, freeze these people or something? Like, cold freeze?"

She's ignorant to the greater powers of the Force. She's seen them do some crazy things, like save a frigate from smashing into a planet. Poe told her of a blaster bolt shot being suspended in mid-air, unable to progress any further. She doesn't know what it can do for them, now, but she's fought this thing enough to know that there's nothing she's carrying and nothing she has the skills for that will stop this thing. She feels helpless, and more than anything, she hates feeling helpless. "Why aren't the alarms going off? I thought Aryn was supposed to inform the guard!" There's no way she can't risk it, now. Jessika cranes her head back down the corridor to try and see what's taking so long.

There's nothing Aryn can do at present that doesn't resort to some point of violence. She has to make a decision, and she does. Her left hand comes up, battering its fist against the cusp of the elbow pinning her to the wall. It has no effect, then she remembers she has the lightsaber hilt in the other hand. She slams it against the cusp of the arm holding her and his arm folds in, letting her land on her feet and shove forward. A practiced foot is stationed between his, and when her forward momentum catches him mid-section, he retreats and trips over her foot spilling backward. His hand holding the blaster goes off, but its sound is overshadowed by the sudden activation of Aryn's lightsaber. The brilliantly blue humming blade is all the captures the guard's attention as she places it between them defensively. "I said.. let me go. I am no child! I am a Doctor, damn it, and there is a biological containment breach down that corridor. If you pursue me, I will resort to violence. It is imperative I trigger the alarm. If you feel compelled to do your duty, then help my friends contain the problem.. they are that way. But you /will/ stay out of my way."

Aryn lowers the lightsaber and turns, leaving him there to decide. The brilliant blue of the blade withdraws from view, disappearing behind the lens emitter built into the hilt she holds.

The black substance has left the bodies of all three and now joins together, creating its own shape to mimick the Jessika's outline. The bodies it had inhabited fell lifelessly backward. An arm raises toward the Jedi. "You will diiiiiiiieeee."

"She must've gotten held up or is unable to find whomever she's looking for." Rey quickly responds to Jessika about Aryn, her voice moving out those words almost as fast as one of those auctioneers selling various trinkets at a auction house!

"Thats not how the--" Rey cuts herself off in the lecture of how the Force works. Its true that she'd never come across a way to instantly freeze someone in some sort've icy prison... but she had read of darker alligned Force abilities. Lightning and Fire... She read of them in pages from a nearly entirely destroyed Sith Journal that she has back in the Skywalker Academy.

So when the creature forms together into a lone figure, Rey's hand comes up again. Her lightsaber goes off to the side and her brow furrows, she 'glares' at the creature in this new form and with the tidbits of info she'd read about the power she attempts to call upon it, to focus it across the entire surface of the creature's body...

She ignites it, into pure hot flame! It surprises even herself! There's a definitive pull there, a dark satisfaction that sends a shiver down her spine to the very tips of her toes. It felt... good, to call upon that power and see it work, to see the flames she pictured within her mind's eye come to life just so... So now the young Rey is a bit stunned, watching it

Up the corridor, a lightsaber is activated, and Jessika doesn't think that's a good thing. Down the corridor, when she looks, is an inky figure that she finds is a disturbing resemblance to herself. At least, would be, if she were comprised of whatever it's comprised of. It's the ponytail that gives it away. Without any warning, the thing sets alight, and Jessika jerks back in response, as if the sudden existence of flames might burn her. Frowning and shooting a look at Rey, Jessika can see the concentration evaporate into a look of surprise. "I THOUGHT YOU SAID THAT'S NOT HOW THE FORCE WORKS!" Rey hadn't said it, but she was going to. Jessika shifts her attention back. It might be worthless, but she aligns her blaster.

One shot impacts somewhere in the flames. The other two miss by a narrow and slightly wider margin. It's difficult to see just where the thing is, given the way the flames dance and lick across its surface. Already, she's wondering if what they're seeing is it. Who else might have been infected? Was there any way out of the lab it had emerged from, or was this the only way in and out? Jessika can't imagine there's any escape but past them. What kind of biohazard containment has a convenient back door something could walk out of? She hhopes that's the case, at least. Clearly she'd overestimated the intelligence of one Nama Tae given the predicament they currently find themselves in.

The guard arrives just as Jessika fires her shot into the flaming mass by the opened vault at the end of the corridor. His eyes go wide, seeing the bodies of two friends and Lady Nae. But the flaming mass drew most of his attention. Unable to fire out of confusion and terror, he watches as the pus like substance boils and loses shape, before spreading across the floor to continue burning. A scream filled the corridor that was paralyzing, and the guard held his hands over his ears as a result, falling to his knees and grimacing. "WHAT THE REKK IS /THAT/?! AHHH!"

The lights in the corridor dim as red rotating lights appear from above and an alarm sounds. Where ever Aryn had gone, there was some measure of success. She did not arrive with the crew dressed in containment suits.

Further investigation revealed that the entity was gone. Burned up completely on the ground. No others were in the facility, and the roving guard had been responsible for accepting a bribe for allowing Tama inside. They also found that the remains for the two guards and Nae possessed nothing beneath their skin and clothes. They simply 'deflated' like sacks with which air had been forced from. Whatever stuff they'd been made of, was gone.

Rey and Jessika were led outside, and it's there they found Aryn laid out on a stretcher. There was a mark on her armor's torso plate, where she'd sustained a blaster bolt shot in the tradeoff with the guard.

The guard responsible was being led away in cuffs.

Rey had deactivated her lightsaber and reclipped it to her belt after several months of watching the ooze just disperse across the ground like a pool of fire. Eventually the flames went out and it was clear that whatever sentient life had been in that substance was gone, or so it seemed.

A look over had been given to Jessika, Rey was seemingly just as surprised by that outcome as anyone else.

The others that had not survived the goo were observed, a great sense of remorse filling Rey's emotional well being within... but there's little she could've done for them. Apparently that woman had put them in that danger, against other's orders or requests...

Back outside of the containment area, Rey is joining Aryn at her side. She gives her a look over and a soft smile. She'd done good to get the help warned, a glance given to the man in the cuffs... he'll probably be let go of from his position, she'd assume but thats far better than the others suffered back there.

"You keep getting yourself hurt like this and you're going to have more scars than hairs on your head." Rey says to Aryn, a casual quip to her friend.

"That containment room needs to be swept, top to bottom, for evidence of that biohazard. I'm not leaving until I see it done, and ANY that is found will be immediately contained and handed over into my possesion, as per Royal House orders." Jessika is face to face with the containment team's leader after the fire disperses and it's evident that the substance is no longer where it once was. She doesn't know if that means they effectively fought it. All she knows is that it was there, and now it's gone. A certain sense of paranoia threatens to overtake her, but she holds it at bay. She's more logical than that, and she's not the type to be overrun by her emotions. That's what her friends know her for. That's her greatest skill.

Knowing that she can't help with that, Jessika heads up the corridor to the mouth, where the doors of the facility are still open and where Aryn is on a stretcher. Rey makes a quip, and Jessika's mind finds one within its depths. She doesn't verbalize it. The last thing Aryn needs is an I-told-you-so. Stepping up closer to the blonde's side, Jessika's gaze shifts between her face and the markings on her armor. "I'm going to stay here and make sure that they check the containment room. If there's any trace of it, they'll contain it and hand it over to me. Go get some rest. They'll took you to the local hospital and then I'll have a shuttle sent down for you so you can be moved to a more familiar setting."

Aryn grimaces, but the joke isn't lost entirely. "If he'd just listened.." Is all she offers to Rey, who just watched as they placed the guard into a speeder to be hauled away. Jessika's approach earned Aryn's gaze and she listens when the Captain speaks, nodding her head. "Sounds good. If you're both okay, I can rest easier." Aryn reaches out to gently squeeze Jessika's hand.

Aryn regards Rey again and offers her other hand, the tell-tale request to be pulled back up to her feet. "I'm to the hospital then. Before I leave.." She unclips the datapad from her belt and offers it to Jess. "The signed royal decree. In case anyone gives you trouble." Aryn manages a small smile, then looks to Rey. "Let's get out of here."

Rey certainly has concerns about Aryn's Force training, her Jedi training is often being interrupted by this adventures and discoveries, the duties and responsibilities that this young woman has due to her home and family. But still, she offers the young woman a smile and helps her up with that offered hand. "Yes indeed."

A look is given to Jessika then. "Thank you for the help, Jess. Please let me know if more of this shows up. I would very much like an opportunity to try to communicate with it. I cannot fully believe something is purely evil by nature... I need to know if there's indeed any true good inside of it, or if it was just simply... scared." She doesn't know, it was a sudden and strange experience down there in the coridor, to say the least.

"I'm also curious what the 'bigger problem' is that was mentioned earlier too. Especially if its somehow connected to all of this." Rey then adds, after helping Aryn up to her feet again.

Nodding to them both, Jessika takes the decree and heads back into the corridor.
