Jedi Order: Legacies Lost

OOC Date: May 26, 2020
Location: Obra-skai
Participants: Jedi Order, Rey, Yuun, Ban Iskender as GM, Elrych Cometburn, Vhe Tenara, Aryn Cole

When last the Jedi had visited Obroa-skai, they had found the shattered shell of the list Archives occupied by a two dozen bounty hunters, and the ghost of a long dead Consular. That specter had spoken of a bond that once existed between the Jedi and the Obroans; that the natives would not surrender knowledge, but would share it. She had bade the young Jedi, "Reforge the bond, and perhaps some echo shall be heard, again. I am but one voice, and soon I must rest, again. Celebrate the voices beyond number, and let the Order learn anew."

So it was that the Jedi had returned to the harsh and frozen world of Obroa-skai to seek an audience with the keepers of an archive which claimed to hold the sum knowledge of tens of thousands of species. One of the scholars of the library world had agreed to meet with them.

Stepping through the door is a blonde Aryn Cole, wearing the fur collared heavy cloak/cape of her world for warmth, with light, yet stylish, armor, and a hood that's promptly drawn back beneath the atmosphere of this great place (and building!) A moment of awe overwhelms the young scholar's expression as she realizes the magnitude of such knowledge and what possibilities could blossom from this meeting.

"Such opportunity, this. I cannot tell if it's the chill or my nerves that has my hands shaking."

Before Rey left the Falcon, Chewbacca had shoved a winter coat at her. Rey had looked dwon at it and then up at him. "It smells funny." She said to the Wookiee who rumbled a response and shoved it at her anyway. "When was it cleaned last?" She asked. His large furry shoulders had shrugged which made her smile in a reserved way. "You're going to make me come across as 'the smelly one' to whomever we may speak to here." She told the Wookiee as she begrudgenly accepted the jacket and started to pull it on over her otherwise soft white clothing. Chewie questioned her then-after with another little grumble-noise.

"Yes yes, its very warm now. So appreciative." She chides the tall fuzzy one. On her way off of the ship she strides past Threepio who is waddling in the opposite direction as her toward the rec lounge. "Mistress Rey! That jacket looks wonderful on you! I remember the ghastly burly pirate that Chewbacca took it from. He was a gross and sweaty man!"

"Thanks, Threepio." Rey muttered as the golden droid added "Do be careful out there!" Waving a shiny hand as she departed the ship.

Arriving here and now with the others, Rey's hands are in the pockets of the old brown jacket, her eyes are wandering their new surroundings. She likes libraries. "It's very exciting." Rey concurs with Aryn, standing by her and looking far less regal than the blonde.

Entering with the others and shivering and shaking the cold from his bones, elrych pulls down the hood of his thicker warmer dark green cloak. Blue eyes scan around, a single brow raising in interest. Suddenly they furrow, his head turning to glance towards Rey as he sniffs, "Oh man... you need to get that washed." He offers, waving a hand back and forth in front of his face in an exagerated manner. His lips curl into a smirk, a sly corellian one. "I've been working on my speaking skills you know, we totally got this." Could on jinx something? Yes, yes they could, especially if they were a Corellian.. double if they were a cocky hot shot pilot.

The Obroan under-secretary of the Religious Esoterica subdivision who had agreed to meet with the guests much resembled a great walrus in a waistcoat, down to the joined feet, blubbery build, tusks, and small black eyes. He sat at a broad desk, with numerous computer terminals within easy view.A Cheerfully, he greets the group, "Yes, yes. Come in! Sit. Quite welcome, quite welcome. It has been some months since I've heard such a claim. Jedi, you say?" A barking grunt in his own language, and a small droid lifts off a charging socket on his desk and begins recording the meeting with a bright trilling chirp.

If Rey looked to Aryn after Elrych's joke, she'd see the blonde shaking her head no to confirm that there actually was /not/ a smell; not that Aryn could detect, at least. "With scholars, it's not about charisma; it's about proof; scholarly sources. A society that invests itself in the facts of history, of advancement and all manner of things did not get that way by smooth-talking. Reverence to knowledge, to science, to--" Aryn's long-winded explanation is cut off when the walrus looking Obroan addressed them.

Aryn turns with a short brisk of her cape and puts on a pleasing smile. Though this fades as she steps closer with the distinct sound of boot-falls. "Under-Secretary, I am Aryn Cole, and these good folk in attendance are just as you say; Jedi." Aryn notices the droid, and suddenly prompts the onus of introducing the others off her. "I'll allow the others to introduce themselves." Aryn bows slightly and stands aside, letting the others say what they will before she claims a seat. Introductions were always a ritual of sorts.

Rey gives a look first to Elrych when he registers the 'smell' of her borrowed jacket. She glances down at her shoulder and then back up at him, but Aryn speaks up and she just has a slight grin show across her pale pink lips. She looks between the two of them. "Chewie said it'd keep the male pursuers off of me. I think he's right." She very quietly says a moment or so before their guide/greeter arrives.

When the Obroan does show up, Rey remains standing there with her hands in the pockets of the old pirate jacket that had been used as a cargo padding in the cargo hold for who knows how long!

After Aryn speaks, Rey offers a smile and a nod to Secretary. "I'm Rey." She says, voice calm and quiet. "Thank you for seeing us." She adds then quickly.

"Clearly it only attacts females." He waggles his brows, "Always a drawback." Elrych says this lowly before glancing to the Obroan. He's respectfully silent, letting those who are more experianced with prose than himself do most of the talking. "Elrych Cometburn, sir. Initiate to the Jedi Order." A slight bow of his head in respect.

"Very good, very good. And I am under-secretary Heironymous Bomm, at your service," the Obroan grunts, sounding pleased. "I do so enjoy meeting the Jedi claimants. The last fellow was simply delightful. Simply delightful! A Corellian, if I recall correctly. Yes, a Corellian. Levitated things all about my office with the Force. Which.. turned out to be a miniaturized repulsor beam concealed in his sleeve. Ingenious device. Ingenious! A delightful fellow, yes, yes. He's in prison, now." Why did the sentient space walrus glance at Elrych with that last? "Well! Let me see, let me see..." a high tech monocle of sorts hovers in front of one eye as he regards each of the Jedi in turn. "Interesting attire.. most are in a broadly classical robe, of varying earth tones. No... perfect match to any particular period. Excellent lightsabers, I must say. Excellent!"

An species like Obroan prided themselves in being the smartest in the room. This tactic was clearly meant to disarm them, but the comment surprised a laugh from Aryn. "Pardon, sorry. I had a similar experience once with a trader. He had, in his possession, an old training saber and had, through some manner of modification, added a mag-lock recaller to the hilt. He could call the device to his hand like someone who had command of telekinesis, but he was not sensitive to the Force. Mother save him, he had a good heart." HE was not in prison, however, and had never claimed to be anything that he wasn't. Eilam, Aryn thought for a moment.

"It seems we're not the first to claim we're from the Order, so you've likely seen all manner of unique demonstrations. What might we do that would earn your consideration? We are eager, and willing, to learn and listen." Aryn said, putting the proverbial hutt-ball back on his side of the arena.

Rey glances over to Elrych and just smirks at him but doesn't reply to that quip from the man. Her gaze goes back to Aryn and the Under-Secretary. Aryn's story makes Rey smile a bit again, as well as shake her head softly side to side. "I will do my very best to hide my elaborate strings I use to attempt to fool the masses. So far it's worked perfectly, let's hope it keeps up." String Master Rey.

The bit about attire makes her glance down at herself and then back up to the Obroan. "We're a young Order. We've a lot to learn yet still, but we're getting there, though it may be a long time until the Jedi Order is completely comfortable in the traditional robes of old. We do need a fair amount of protection to face the dangers that lurk in the shadows for us today after all..."

Elrych's reaction to the Oboran's story is one of impressment. At least that's what's written across his face. "Let me first say, on behalf of Corellia... I appologize... but in all honesty I'm not even upset.... that sound pretty impressive. Definatly Bloodstripe material right there." The last bit might have been a little sarcastic. "I wear the robes, mostly, in the tradition of the Corellian sect of Jedi. I just prefer the mobility my flight breeches give me over that of the more baggy pants." He grives a shrug. "There are still places we can't quite be openly Jedi in, whihc we're working on changing of course." He clears his throat, nodding ot Aryn's words. "What can we do to prove to you we are indeed Jedi... or persuing the path of a Jedi?"

The ponderous academic smiles broadly around prominent tusks at Aryn's anecdote. "Ah! The ingenuity of sentient life is a marvelous thing. Marvelous! But no, there have been seven instances of Jedi claimants since I assumed my present position within the Religious Esoterica subdivision.. I will admit, as to proof.. I struggle to imagine how you might prove yourselves Jedi, given the extinction of the classical Order, and to all accounts, the lamentable but similar fate of the New Order organized by the pleasant little blond fellow. He was just so charmingly earnest. Charming!" Rey's quip about elaborate strings earns a rumbling chuckle. "I admit to knowledge of who you are, miss Rey. If the epithets attached to your bounty postings are accurate, I expect that a display of power will be quite simple. Quite simple! But.. command of the Force alone does not make a Jedi. The great shame of this archive came at the direction of a non-Jedi Force user. A great shame, and a terrible tragedy."

The under-secretary regards Elrych in turn. "Oh, there is ample precedent, the uniformity of Jedi costume throughout the classical and neo-classical periods of the Order is far greater than most would suspect- I'm rambling, forgive me. I must sadly return the question to you all, my dear guests: what can you do to prove that you are indeed Jedi?"

"A unique question given your statement just before. We can demonstrate our command of the Force, but by your own admission, that would not indicate that we are Jedi. One does not have to be a Jedi to feel and use the Force. There are other pillars of discipline that would separate us from others." Aryn says, speaking through the maze Heironymous Bomm had made of his questioning.

"Allow me to ask a question of my own. The Obroan are the great keepers of knowledge, especially surrounding the species of the galaxy. Yet I imagine more than a few have escaped the compendium of knowledge you all have collected over generations. As a doctor, myself, I pride myself in knowing the various species too, yet when I interacted with a holocron, it occurred to me that I have no idea /what/ Jedi Master Yoda is. Respectfully speaking of course, his knowledge is vast, and his chortle makes me laugh. My question: what have the Obroan gathered in terms of information concernin the mysterious species that was the late Grandmaster, and our little green friend?"

Rey shows a slight uptick to the corners of her mouth when the bounty on her is spoken of. She shakes her head side to side. "All of that was a fabrication, it's a complicated story in fact. One I'm happy to elaborate on should the time ever allow it." She glances then over to Elrych, who gets a nod of affirmation and then to Aryn who Rey smiles at for a second before she pulsl her hand out of her pocket - and with it she brings a small piece of paper that she'd felt inside of the pocket this whole time. She'd been folding said piece of paper up with one hand until she got it into the form of a square with her fingertips, and now she's turning her hand over and letting the little piece of paper float across the space between her and the Obroan, using the Force to make it's little papery-wings flap slowly as well to emulate a bird.

She flutters the piece of paper right over to the Under-Secretary. "We're still training." Rey says to Heiro. "We've come a long way though, and I think there's a bright future ahead for the Jedi in this galaxy again."

"The little man knowns some seriously deep cuts, that's for sure." Elrych remarks reguarding the attention paid to Master Yoda and his presence in Holocron form at the temple of Eedit back on Devaron. "We do have other pillars of Knowledge, of course Knowledge being one of them. Actually one of the most improtant. Clearly you have a vast respect and admiration for knowledge. Perhaps it is that which you request of us?" He pauses for a moment thinking, "Unless you want me to meditate ... I can do that too. Self Disciplin is very important as well." He seems unfased by Rey's display, likely used to her abilities by now. Just another day with the Force witch, though he does smirk a bit as the wings start to flap.

Yuun the tardy Jedi always, still though he is here. His robes wrapped around him as he makes his way to where the others. He could sense them through the force and he follows until he is brought to where they are. He stretches a little bit and he is quiet for now, as he is trying to understand what's going on. Seeing the paper fluttering, he quirks a brow, "Hello everyone." he smiles.

"Vast as our archives are, it would be folly to claim them complete," the Obroan allows to the beginning of Aryn's answer. When she speaks of the holocron and of Yoda's laugh in particular, Heironymous' black eyes sparkle with merriment, and he smiles broadly enough for a pink tongue to be seen between his tusks. "*If* you are Jedi of the New traditions.. your predecessor spoke of Yoda in depth, as well. Tell me-" he pauses, excited when Rey makes the paper bird flu, directing the chirping little camera Droid to record it. "Don't forget the scans! All wavelengths. Where was I?" A moment to reorganize thoughts. "The late Grandmaster's life and anything pertaining to it were among the topics destroyed in the Imperial Purge, to our great regret. Great regret.." He nods on a stout neck to Elrych. "Yes, *knowledge*. Specific knowledge, which cannot be counterfeit- cannot! Now, if the Grandmaster *did* create a holocron.. I expect you have heard that distinctive laugh of his. Tell me- and this is a serious academic inquiry to prove your lineage and legitimacy as an Order-" the Obroan emphasizes, peering through the floating monocle at the various Jedi, in turn, adding an extra squint at Yuun in the manner of a displeased professor.. "You're late. Now. Can any of you imitate Jedi Master Yoda's laugh?"

"Our predecessor..?" Aryn says, questioning for a moment; the look of internal reflection following before she casts a look at Rey, whose feat of telekinesis had made Aryn smile! "I believe he references Master Skywalker.." Said softly, but it's clear that Aryn has never met or seen Luke, which was why she did not pick up on the earlier minor references about him.

Aryn turns her attention back to Bomm and listens quietly. When he speaks of imitating the late master, Aryn laughs. "You're serious?-- Well, I'll be awful at this but-- ahem.."

Aryn looks down a moment, her cheeks going red. "////HHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmMMmMMmmm. So smart, yet see with your eyes you do not! Into the force, you must look, yes. HRM--HEH! The strength you seek, not here!..all around you, it is. MmmmMMMmMhrmmMHRM!////"

Aryn is solid red, but she tried to capture his syntax and goofy humor. When referencing strength, she patted her arms, then all around her at the close of the statement!

"UH... alright... uh." Elrych starts, looking up a moment as if thinking how he could start. Though Aryn goes first, "That's pretty spot on but I think it's more of ah... and /mmmmmhumhumhumhum/ Young Cometburn, so distracted you are. Concentrait on the here and now, what you are doing... listen one can not, to jizz wailing all day. Hmmhuhmhmhm!" The corellian clears his throat, straining it while trying ot match the high pitched voice of the late Grandmaster. "Or something like that."

Yuun smiles at the attempt of Master Yoda, he looks to Bomm. "Yeah it does sound like that was Master Skywalker." he chimes in. Thinking on this and having trained with Master Yoda's holocron, he moves forward and tries with his best effort. "Funny I can be." and he tries to laugh slightly like Master Yoda, after speaking like the old Jedi Grandmaster, even thinking about Yoda brings a genuine smile to his face.

Rey's eyes go to the others as they start to do their impression of the grand master Jedi. "Oh that was good." She tells Aryn. "Very good, but you have to relax your--" Rey reaches up then and tips her own chin up. "Mmmmhmmmhmm!" She stops and flutters her eyelashes as she hears herself. "That was rubbish." Over to El and Yuun, Rey nods once to them before finally her eyes go back to Heironymous. "Close ehough, I'd say. It's not precisely easy. Master Yoda was a one of a kind." She smiles at the Obroan then.

Vhe listens to them all, watching each as the impressions continue. The holorcons are a great source of information and so, as a once street performer she quips, "Well you see, Master Yoda had this rumble he could produce at the back of his through and go Mmmmhmmmmmmmm," its down rather well, catching at something in the back of her throat. "I fear I have not brought along the appropriate ears or green paint then we could really give you a show. He was rather small though. Actually I have always wondered what his species was...other than adorably wrinkled and cute. Save for the ahir in the ears..thats a bit much."

Bomm is delighted by the efforts, grunting and chortling until he rumbles, "Oh, that's quite good, quite good! Mmmm, yes- take you to him, I will. EHH-heheeheh!" You haven't lived until you've seen a seven foot space walrus professor imitate Yoda's laugh. Flipper shaped forelimbs clap together in good humor. "Ahh.. very good. I think.. we've indulged this long enough? Yes, long enough." Heironymous looks aside to his camera droid and rumbles, "End recording." The little Droid chirps obediently, and the light dims. "Now, computer: recover the complete holographic surface topography of the moons of Odiosis Eight." The computer's A.I. acknowledges Bomm's voice print, and states that recovery and delivery will take an estimated sixteen minutes.

In the meantime, Bomm- with more gravity- regards the Jedi again. "The Imperials did indeed destroy the hard data files our Archive had shared with the Consular Academy, and did destroy what relics we held. The backup copies, as well. So terrible, so, so terrible. Three Secretaries of Religious Esoterica were killed for refusing to comply, before the next was compelled to agree. But.." the blubbery mammal leans closer in his chair, confiding a great secret, "There are three backup copies."

At the mention of three back ups, Aryn chuckles, the red having drained from her face some. "Of course there are; you've your reputation to consider afterall, good sir." Said in good humor. "These files that you are recalling; can you summarize their contents?"

Rey is still grinning at the others with her at their impressions of Master Yoda. His Holocron had been a great discovery on Dagobah, and having him as even a simulated presence in the Jedi Archives on Devaron was a boon for everyone. But her gaze goes back to the Under-Secretary and she grows a bit more serious when he says he has a backup, or three, of the files from the temple here. "You do?" She asks. "Even Master Luke was unable to acquire such a thing." She quietly comments. "His Journal says he tried to discover the remains of the Temple here and was overrun by the Bounty Hunters. He said he'd return 'another day'."

She looks between that of Bomm and the others, glancing to Aryn to agree with that question. "How might we acquire this from you as well?" She asks the Obroan.

Elrych blinks his eyes once with his brows raising tall, slightly shakes his head, then blinks a few more times in a quicker succession. It's a display of surprise, agastment at the revelation the Secretary has made to them. "Did you say, /three/ backup copies..." There is a deep breath, "Well thank the force for back up systems and redundancies."

Yuun laughs as the others join in and he can't help but smile at everyone. He hears about the backups, though he does wonder if they will be able to acquire one of the copies, but he will leaves up to those who are good at speaking in situations like this. Yuun honestly don't mind taking the back seat in this regards, everyone has strength and weaknesses and well diplomatic talking it's not his forte'.

Vhe seems to perk at the mention of backups, a brow arching upon her features. She knows just how eager everyone else is and she is no different. "Glad to know someone was thinking ahead," she remarks in regards to the backup. A quirk of a smile pulls her lips upwards. She clicks her tongue up against the roof of her mouth before she glances to the others.

"If your Order is rooted in the Skywalker Restoration, I suspect you already have reviewed the books, yes? Yes, of course.. The information we have is that which the Consular Library had entrusted to us as an emergency measure. Their temple was permitted a permanent data link to the Celebratus Archive- the only one ever granted, the only one! This is why they built their Archive on Obroa-skai, I suspect. It could not leave this world, no, it could not. Will you all accompany me, young Jedi?" the under-secretary invites, shuffle-waddling out from behind his desk to move deeper into the Institute, as he answers Rey, "Of the Temple site, nothing of significant academic worth remains. There is one boon we can grant you, however, yes, there is one. Follow me, follow me." On the way, he rumbles to Elrych, "You may thank the Force, if you like. But you would be more accurate in thanking the Solar Flare of 12,312 years ago which rendered all databanks useless, unless shielded from the radiation by a kilometer of soil and stone. This is the event which necessitated the practice, until the later invention of shielded electronics in-" he will lecture on in that vein while moving into the Archive proper.

Aryn is quiet as she rises in her seat and brushes her cape back. Locking her gloved hands to the small of her back, she trails after the fat-waddling Obroan, taking a patient stroll and enjoying the gift they'd been given to travel further into the archives to see what hidden treasures might linger.

His history lesson is taken in stride, as he explains the importance of their information and why it's kept in the condition it is. Soft, yet distinct, bootfalls follow the wake of the Obroan whose voice has all of Aryn's immediate attention.

Rey hadn't ever sat down. She's still just standing there with her hands in the smelly spacer pirate jacket she's wearing. She looks to the others as Heiro leads them onward, a look of 'We lucked out on this one' clear and apparent on her face. But when Heiro finally gives her a chance she chimes in. "You know this would've put this place at great risk if Emperor Palpatine had discovered your people had such an archive your possession, Under-Secretary. In the experiences that we've had thus far in our searches for rebuilding the Jedi Archives, we've found that the Galactic Empire was ruthless in it's efforts to eradicate all such banks of lore. This is quite a thing you claim to have." She tells the Obroan whilst they all move together.

She can ramble too if she wants to! Quite a book work herself!

Elrych show interest as they moves deeper into the institute and thus the archives. His glances around, taking it all in, a glance to Vhe and a smirk given to her before he continues about his way. He keeps quiet, allowing the Obroan to lead them through. Respect as show, as best as a Corellian can show respect.

Yuun quirks up a brow as they are invited further into the temple, a smile does grace his face. He follows the others further in, Yuun opens his mouth to say something, but he stops and just shakes his head. He didn't want to jinx anything by saying something stupid. Once they are inside, he looks around.

Bomm burbles on happily. "As recognized successors to the Skywalker Restoration, you may make use of the direct link to the Celebratus Archive that had been granted to the Jedi Order of the Old Republic period at the remains of the Obroan temple. The information within may be copied, but it cannot leave this world. It cannot!" As the party passes into the vastness of the Celebratus Archive, and board a turbolift which carries Bomm and his guests to the designated level, a viewing projector and a magnetically sealed box of datarods and holographic spheres await. Given his lack of digital dexterity, Bomm uses voice commands to open the box. "Inside this box is every surviving detail of the Consular Academy of the Jedi Order on Obroa-skai. Of special interest to you will be the spheres- the articats and relics are truly lost- the holocrons, too- such a shame; such a shame! But this one in particular- the blue one- if placed on the pedestal at the center of the Jedi vaults, will show the image of the temple as it was, just before the end." A huffy look is turned to Rey. "Were you not listening, before? The Imperial purge *did* destroy countless databanks, and did irreparable damage to the artifact collections of *multiple* subdivisions, as well as executing several directors. What I 'claim to have' indeed. Indeed!" Huff. Huff! "There is more information on these datarods regarding the Consular Academy than you could fully analyze in a Human lifetime, madam. Indeed!"

Aryn draws the blue sphere to her hand the moment it's indicated, displaying her own command (to some degree) of telekinesis. This was not done in malice. She gently collects the item from the air, and places the blue sphere upon the projector, much like the Obroan Bomm had indicated.

With any luck, the power projected into the sphere cast a glowing image of the old temple, maybe even rotating, for the Jedi to see. Aryn seemed eager to see what the ruins used to look like before the orbital bombardment, reducing it to the sorry state they'd seen it in before.

"Did I do it right?" She asks, stepping back and tucking her gloved hands to the small of her back once more.

Rey glances around the interior of the lift as they take it to the Celebratus Archive. She steps off and out with the others and her eyes roam over the interior of... well at least as much of the Archives as she's capable of seeing in this vantage point.

Heiro's words draw her eyes back to him though. "Yes, of course. Much was lost. I understand that. But Palpatine wished it to be /all/ gone, Under-Secretary." She tells him. "As does the leadership of the First Order... though they're more preoccupied now, than they used to be. But still." Rey glances over to watch what Aryn is doing. She keeps speak, though it's a bit distracted herself now. "The Knights of Ren yet remain, scouring the galaxy for collections such as this, to purge it... even further."

Rey draws her eyes back to the Obroan guide to this find. "Still. Thank you for this. I promise it will all stay here. We'll only come here for the answers we need and not remove anything from the site itself."

Elrych looks over the orb as Aryn takes it in her invisible hand and places it on the projector. The display reflects in his blue eyes. There is a glance to Secretary Bomm, "Sir, did you say we could copy thin information? Could that copied information leave or must that remain as well? Just want to be sure before I did something stupid."

"Yes- and no," Bomm rumbles to Aryn as the projector does indeed cast a ghostly blue image of the temple from a particular point, showing slightly distorted images of the heart of the old Consular Academy. "You'll note the varied distortions as the image will only display truly when projected from the position is was recorded. But you can see, for example- several holocrons, an ancient sword- oh, there is one of the star maps of Bindi-" The Obroans huffs at Rey, sounding more appeased. "Of course they are. There are always enemies of knowledge. Always have been. Always!" Aside to Elrych, the Obroan answers, "Yes, copies may be removed. As your predecessor did. The scribe machines are here- have you operated a holographic scribe, before?" he wonders, peering at Elrych through his floating monocle, while gesturing a flipper toward a complex machine for reading and copying compressef data. "You'll be able to mimic a pre-Purge diet and robe *precisely* should you wish it, though as I'd said before, most students badly overestimate the degree of uniformity- I'm rambling, again."

"Thank you Secretary Bomm." Yuun says as he bows his head. Yuun's attention is directed to Aryn as she moves the blue orb and he grins watching it power on and seeing the display. He stands where he is and just watches the display looking at the temple before it was destroyed. Still what he sees catches his attention fully and he grins. He does hear what Bomm says and he looks to teh others to see if they would make copies, "I've never used one of those before."

"This has been inspiring, Under-Secretary. Even an image can tell us a lot about a place." Aryn collects the orb carefully and carries it back to the box, reverently setting it back inside so as to not damage it. For now, the box is closed, assuming the others have some pressing matters to attend next.

"I can stay if it pleases. I do not mind running the holographic scribe to create a copy of this and bring it back to the temple; following any protocol the Obroans wish me to exercise of course." Aryn stands off to the side, her hands clasping again at her back.

Rey glances over to the device in-question. She'd never seen anything like it before. She looks from it, to Elrych. "I'm sure you can figure it out." She says with a slight grin at him before her eyes go then to Aryn who is volunteering. "Are you sure?" She asks her. "I would assume it's a rather lengthy process..." She glances back to the Under-Secretary then. She has to ask then of the Obroan. "In all your experience here, Under-Secretary, have you heard of any other locations that the Empire - or other enemies - may have missed in their Purge of the Jedi?" A quick glance is given around them. "This site alone is more than we expected to find, but, we're always searching for more leads. The Jedi presence once reached far and wide across the galaxy, after all. If you ever think of anything that you believe might interest us, please do let us know?"

"I've never, no... I mean I've edited a holo-vid or two in my youth..." Elrych says with a shake of his head, glancing towards Aryn as she takes the orb and places it back. She offers to scribe and there's a bit of relief on his face, "She's a much better choice and likely trained in the matter." He chuckles, looking to Rey to listen to her and nod in agreement, his attention returns once more to Bomm.

Bomm considers Rey's question for a moment. "I would have to consult with the attache to the subdirector of Imperial political histories, as well as the custodian of stellar cartographies and the department of modern pan-galactic events to begin considering possibilities. I do not enjoy speculation, not at all. Not at all!" Still, the puzzle is being turned over in the Obroan's mind, visibly for the first time. "If worthy leads are discovered, an expedition could be prepared. Hurmmm."
