Kafrene System. Woof; so many smugglers. Asteroid colony! Rogue One.

Sar Yavok has been watching the holoterminals in the security room aboard the Renegade for a long, long time today. But it's finally paid off. Sweet, sweet intel.

Word is that the Dissident-class light cruiser has been spotted in the system, along with its complement of TIEs on a mission to pick up some good ol' fashioned illicit good. Nothing's illegal when you're in charge, right? Anyway, since this is a relatively small target (compared to a star destroyer) the time has come to attack, and hopefully dig through its databanks for some information on Leia's wherabouts.

The Codru Dream, a YT-2400 warps into the sector, followed shortly after by...whatever ships the Resistance types are flying.

Sitting in the lounge of the 2400 is Colonel Sar Yavok, the man who threw this slapdash little mission together. He's just sitting there. Waiting.

Sapphira comes sprinting in, out of breath. "You just ... took off..." she accuses Sar. She's got her weapon on her hip, is wearing a home-knit grey slouchy sweater, very fitted pants, and boots. "I ran like ... two ships ... looking for you..." she wheezes at Sar. "...what the fuck, man ... what are we doing here...?"

Sabella Lockheart is on the ship, because let's face it she can fix a ship but she can't fly them. She blinks while peeking over at the voice that is wheeing while zipping up her vest and soon tucksher hands into the pockets. A soft ah escapes her and she looks a bit amused waiting for a response it seems before peering out to see who else managed to get on the ship before it went launching into never-never land so to speak.

Dosk sits at the controls of the Codru Dream. His multiple arms flipping switches and holding the controls at the same time, all while chewing on an unlit cigarra.

Rey is standing within the lounge near a corner in the bulkheads. She's got her steel blue hooded cape on and the hood is drawn up over her head, her brown hair is tied back into a ponytail that drapes down out of the hood and down her right shoulder in front of her.

The young woman is looking down at a datareader that holds information from the intelligence on this missin, she's been going over it repeatedly since they set out. She's also kept to herself and been rather quiet, since this is important to her... she's got a lot on her mind regarding all of it.

Ambrosia is indeed along for this precious chance at intel...just more in spirit than flesh and blood. In the Codru Dream's cockpit, there is an apparition flickering in terrible focus. It's the face of BG Greystorm, attending best she can from afar. Somebody's got to stay behind with the Renegade...just in case. She doesn't look particularily happy about it, but it's her only was to surveil from afar.

Snug in the cockpit of Blue One, Gren Delede was able to slip away from another day of paperwork and meetings to show the young whippersnappers how the brass can still do it. Or something. The new-model A-wing reverts to real-space, and the Admiral begins to punch buttons, beginning a sensor sweep of the system. The Resistance Starfighter Corps is well-represented for this important mission, as all of Gold Squadron, and half of Red Squadron has been scrambled, and hopefully will exit hyperspace with an intact formation. <<Pilots, sound off. And let's kill these bastards.>>

The target is already in system, and they managed to come out of hyperspace relatively near. Energy surges on the First Order Light Cruiser show shields strengthening and weapons going hot. Smaller sensor images begin to appear as it launches it's squadron of TIE Fighters.

Ektor comes out of the hyperspace jump in formation with the other starfighters; so far, no disaster. Over the comm, he sounds off with a sardonic edge, "Flying gold hatpin number four, standing by. Target and escorts on scopes, accelerating to engage."

The Arc-170 Reconnaisance Fighter. As far as Kirit is concerned, it might as well be a freighter. Starfighters shouldn't be so sluggish that they require a rear gunner. It was the reason she was never keen on the MG-100 project. As far as she is concerned, progress peaked with the B-wing when it comes to assault starfighters. Now, she has to talk to two people AND a droid. ~I hate Arcs~ she mutters in Verpine clicks. <<Everyone be alert. S-foils to attack positions. Our job is to bring down the shields then take out the sublight engines. Keep the collateral damage to a minimum.>> The pair of x-wing predecessors unlock their s-foils into the signature dragonfly positions and raise shields. <<Red 4 to Blue Leader. Red wing preparing for attack run.>>

<<Gold Leader, standing by.>> None too happy about the hatpin remark, David bites back the urge to bite the new guy's head off immediately upon exiting hyperspace. <<Gold 2, stay on my wing, Gold 3 is with Four. Don't get your 'hatpins' shot down, we can't afford new ones.>> Accelerating to engage the TIEs, Dave's wingman reports in. <<Gold 2, reporting in and staying with you, Leader.>> comes the reply from young Jump Jye.

Sitting as comfortable as he can in the cockpit of Gold 3, Karas pulls the levers back to revert back into real space. This was it and honestly he couldn't help but be nervous and excited all at the same time. Still forming up into squadrons, "Copy That Gold Leader." he says into his comms. Karas looks around and finds Gold 4, <<Alright Gold 4, we are wingman, so lets make sure we all come home.>> he says as he looks to his sensors and get ready, pulling in data from Spark his astromech as it feeds data into his computers.

Klaxons begin to sound all over the Incarceration as the jolly Rebel junk fleet zips into existence. There's about to be one heck of a furball, but for now, it's quiet. The Codru Dream draws near to the Dissident-class light cruiser with the help of its Tier 3 engines and the element of surprise.

Sar looks up at Sapphira and holds a finger up to his lips, shaking his head at her as he finishes cleaning his EE-3 Carbine. He stands up slowly from his seat on the bench and says, "Alright. Everybody to the ramp!"

And just like that, Dosk's fancy flying has them flying into the open hangar on the side of the Incarceration and setting down like a leaf. The Hounds may be long gone, but it's about time to let slip the dogs of war. *metal music begins*

"Update," the blue, hazy face of middleaged soldier bitch demands of Dosk as he's trying to pilot them into the enemy's hangar.

Sapphira pauses, looking from Sar's gesture of silence to the weapon in his hands. "Fine," she sighs, reaching down to her own and giving it a quick check. It all seems in order. She slams it down in the holster again, and moves to follow her namkesake to the ramp. What're we doing? Eh, who cares. Let's just do it.

Sabella Lockheart curiously listens in on what she can from the others and glances tothe side as the ship goes about moving and a faint ah escapes her ith a finger lifting slightly. "Yep..." Is murmure a bit before she is following the others towards the ramp. While she is not the typical one on such things she does have other uses when it comes to ships and eletrical things so that is were her talents will la in this little mission. Well perhaps.

Dosk maneuvers the ship in a few loops before angling in and landing the ship, standing as it powers down and looking to his droid, a Hunter Trainer, ordering it to guard the ship while sliding out his pistol and attaching the helmet of his armor at the same time, with his upper arms as he heads out of the cockpit and moves in line with the landing group.

Rey's eyes lift up as she sees and hears the others moving. She deactivates the datareader she was holding and sets it aside into a canvas satchel that she had drapped over her shoulder and crossed down to her hip. With a slight exhale, she knew what was to come... danger, hopefully none of the people she was with would be harmed.

With a momentary bite of her lowerlip, the teenager steps across the interior of the ship after the others, her cape swirling around her as she goes and her right hand comes up with the grip of her blaster pistol squeezed within her right hand... Rey occupies the area at the back of the boarding party, likely lacking the most in experience with this sort of thing.

"It's time. Go go go!" Sar barks, before lowering the ramp and running down it. The hangar of the ship is no, for the most part, pretty empty. It's to be expected, as most everyone that was here has now flown out. There are, however, still some stragglers in the form of guards.

"It'll be in the AAR, General. Little busy, right now," Sar says into his comm as he slides behind cover and pops out just long enough to floor a Stormtrooper.

"Always rushing," Sapphira grumbles from behind Sar, stepping to the opposite side of the corridor as the man. She uses the wall bulkhead for her own cover, peering out from beside it in time to pop off two shots at some poor Rookie who had his first day on the job and somehow missed "HIDE 101". Well, now there's nothing more to hide from. Bye, Rookie. "We couldn't do this quietly, could we?" she complains to Sar.

Lofty the Talz sits in the topside laser turret of Dosk's YT-2400 freighter. Thankfully he fits. His paws rest on the controls, claws on the triggers, ready to fire once a real fighter comes in range. However when Dosk lands the freighter in the First Order landing bay the Talz grabs his rifle and his whip and stomps off to join the boarding action!

Sabella Lockheart eyes the guards that appear and then well, are taken care of while holding onto her pistol and grips it tightly a moment. "He doesn't know the meaning of quiet." Is offered with an amused yet soft tone. before she is peeking down another area to see if anything else is appearing.

Dosk exits the ship behind the others, hearing the shots fired and coming out prepared. Raising his blaster to fire at the first target he sees. Which happens to be one of the guards he spots while rushing down the ramp with the other Resistance members.

Lofty lumbers down the ramp like a big white snowball. His massive white paws hold a rifle awkwardly and, upon seeing guards in the hangar bay, he fires off a single shot that strikes one of them square in the chest. There are accompanying screams of pain and a shower of sparks. The Talz follows after Rey!

The bolts start flying! Pew-pew-pew! Augh! My leg!

The smell of burning ozone is quickly filling the hangar as the Resistance take care of business. But, all of a sudden, the ship rocks hard! Shaken by incoming fire from outside. "Delede, what the krif is going on out there!?" Sar asks into his comm, standing up and waving for the team to move with him as he jogs toward one of the doors out of the hangar.

All of the Stormies who /were/ in here are now either dead, or laying on the ground soon to be dead. Well done, soldiers.

"I take that to mean you've made contact," Ambrosia leans forward on the communications console, head tipping aside to examine nothing in particular. "May the Force be with us, then." And she quiets. The words sound phony, coming from her mouth, in her own head, but there they are. Tastes funny. Rearing back from the console, she paces a few feet aside and opts to take a cool sip of....water.

Sapphira comes up quickly behind the group, stepping over the dead troopers like they were but logs in her path. For indeed, that's what they are. "How far is it to whatever it is you need me to nerd?" Sapphira asks Sar. She's sticking close by him as they move, keeping her eyes moving, watching and listening for trouble even as she sasses her ... Father? Like, really though, what's going on there?

Sabella Lockheart casts a glance towards the ship that wold be otuside as the room moves slightly with whatever is goingon out there. A faint breath escapes her before she is following the others, keeping her head low and pausing when the one in front of her does. She doesn't lke this, something eels a touch off. Or perhaps that is just her mind teling her she is tots crazy for being here.

As one of two of Dosk's shots hit, he smiles a bit from behind his helmet as he lowers his pistol a bit and stays vigilant the rocking of the ship causing him to stagger a bit as he jerks his head around. Eventually looking to the others who disembarked from the ship and ready to move forward, following the lead of the rest of the boarding crew.

Absolutely not at the forefront or vanguard or the leading edge of the shock troops, Dr. Zavir only moves forward when she's motioned to do so. She may be armed but it's the medpack that she's carrying that is her real forte, and she doesn't step over the troopers so much as cautiously skirt her way around them. Not being a coroner herself, handling dead people really isn't her specialty so she takes polite pains to avoid the bodies.

As Rey proceeds forward she looks to the fallen Stormtroopers and their discarded weaponry, she steps over one of them and reaches her free hand out to focus on the rifle laying beside their left hand...

The rifle lifts up off of the ground and is soon followed by all the others dropped by the Stormtroopers who've lost their lives in this part of the battle.

One by one the guns are hoisted into the air and then suddenly tossed across the room to clatter behind cargo crates and likely hidden away from anyone else who may seek them out in the mean time.

With that out of the way, Rey looks forward with huge eyes, she's nervous and running on adrenaline, she keeps up with the others with leather bootfalls propelling her ahead.

"Copy that, Delede," Sar says, nodding. He reaches the exit and slaps a button, sending the doors flying open.

Rounding the corner into the main hallway, Sar answers Sapphira, "Should be at the end of this hallway, if our intel on these ships is correct." His voice is vocoded and monotone due to his big fancy helmet. His gun is levelled and he's keeping an eye on his corners. And expecting his team to do the same. "They're rocking the ship with ions, so we may lose power."

"Delede, en route to bridge. Make sure to get those skies clean for-oh, krif!" Up ahead, a trio of stormtroopers have rushed their way into the hallway and have hastily deployed an E-Web!

"Mounted gun! Get to cover!" Sar shouts to his team, hiding behind a piece of protruding bulkhead.

Lofty hears the call of 'mounted gun' and tries to hide his massive girth behind a stack of supply crates. "Down get!" he says to Rey.

Sapphira is running headlong in the direction that Sar indicates. It means she's not paying quite as much attention as he is to the dangers ahead of them. So when he shouts at her about a mounted gun, her eyes catch up with her ears catch up with her brain all at about the same time. Which means her feet are a few seconds behind that. "Whoop!" She yelps, as if she just dropped something fragile. Then she dives headlong behind a crate in the hall, having to drag her feet behind the cover to be totally safe. She rises and lifts her weapon, poised for a perfect kill shot. She pulls. There's a click. "FUCK!" The redhead shouts, ducking back behind cover as she hurries to reload her weapon. "Every time! You ten shot piece of shit!"

"I really rather the ship not lose power until we're at a cetain point..." Sabella offers with a faint mutter. She totally missed Rey's trick back there but she would so approve of it, even though she has a gun she doesn't /like/ them. She rounds the corner hearing Sar and is diving backwards when a shot goes out an a half yelp escapes her as she is scrambling to become one with the bulkhead as best she can. "WHY is that right HERE on THE SHIP?!"

As Sar opens the hatch and heads into the next bulkhead, Dosk follows, along with the rest of the group. Rushing in just as the announcement is made of an emplaced E-Web. The four armed creature scrambling as he fires off a couple shots, both flying wide of their target while he shuffles behind the crates that Lofty also occupies.

"Now that," Maeve Zavir murmurs in Rey's direction with a good natured smile, "is a handy skill," watching with interest as the weapons are tossed behind one of the crates and out of easy spotting by the next group that potentially needs to amble through here. She's moving forward with the rest of the group when Sar's shouted warning has her taking a knee behind the first bit of convenient - and hopefully sturdy - cover.

Rey glancces back toward the Doctor to see that Mae had joined them she gives the Doc a sly brief smile before looking forward again in time to see the Guards with a mounted gun emplacement deployed in the corridor.

Again with huge eyes, the young woman in the blue cape and the flowing robes around her legs reaches her non-gun-holding hand out and she focuses her mind upon the Stormtrooper's E-web...

With hear heart pounding in her chest, the E-web suddenly MOVES and is now sliding across the ground at a high speed away from the Stormtroopers and right to the Resistance soldiers.

"Sorry! Ours now!" Rey shouts down the corridor at the troopers while the E-web glides into place near to Sar and Sapphira.

Lofty nods knowingly at Dosk when the fellow alien joins him behind some crates. Then the Talz pops up, not bothering to aim down his barrel's sights, and fires a shot down the corridor at the weaponless leftenant. PEW. It connects and there are sparks.

Lugging a powerful heavy repeater onto the scene, Sar Yavok finds a suitable setup location for his massive Merr-Sonn "E-Web" - 11171. He begins setting the weapon up, mounting it on its recoil-absorbant tripod. When it has been secured, he activates the power generator and coolant system, the weapon coming to life with a loud whine that dies off. The whole setup process takes around five minutes.

Mr. E-Web goes down like a sack of potatoes once Lofty shoots him. But his friends are still there.

Sar crawls out of cover and over to the now-friendly turret. Swinging it around to be enemy facing, he shouts, "Cover your ears!"

With that, he presses down on the dual set of firing nubs and sends a whole bunch of plasma down-range. One of the soldiers manages to scramble back into cover, but his friend is hit with the full-brunt of Imperial engineering.

Sapphira, now fully reloaded, prepares to step up and take another shot. It's about that time the E-Web comes skidding along the ground to settle between her and Sar. For no reason that Sapphira can see. Of course she knows of what Rey can do, but to see it in person? She's gobsmacked for a moment, staring with her mouth slightly agape. "Right," the readhead mutters, rolling onto her front and popping up to fire a few shots. Both go wide, and she pops back down for cover. She's staring at the E-Web and Sar as it fires, squinting against the noise. Yes, squinting agianst the noise. "WHAT?!"

"Wow," Maeve Zavir can't help but say it and she aims a grin this time at Rey before pressing the heels of both hands over her ears to protect them against the sound before more guns are fired. In the history books, the historians will record that that co-belligerents in this particular exchange were apparently better-matched than anticipated.

Dosk smiles and nods at Lofty as the aknowledgement is given, though the smile is hidden behind the helmet so he thinks to himself 'why did I smile?' As the E-Web goes off, the Codru'Ji is set back to reality as he pops up to fire a couple more shots. The first hitting the ceiling, but the second landing a heavy hit which causes the Stormtrooper to stagger a bit.

Rey had her eyes closed while the sounds of that E-web rocked the corridor and she doesn't look again until they've stopped. She peers out from behind her cover at the sole stormtrooper who's been wounded.

With a quick aim of her blaster pistol, the trigger is squeezed twice and both blaster bolts zoom over the Trooper's head to splatter sparks against the burnt wall behind him. Rey snarls a little at her poor aim, but then just exhales and lowers her blaster again to check the ammo on it.

Lofty pops up again, revealing his massive girth, and fires at the final stormtrooper. He misses and warbles through his snoot.

There's a poor, single stormtrooper at the end of the hallway who's bleeding real bad. He just got rocked by Dosk's blaster bolt, and saw his friend explode. He's had a really really bad da-BOOM, he explodes into a fine mist.

Letting the grip of the E-Web go, Sar steps around the thing and asks, "Everybody alright?" Anybody hurt? Maeve, do a spot-check and lets keep moving." Then his comm is beeping. He lifts his hand to the side of his helmet, like in the movies and responds, "Getting to the bridge, now. We're gonna need a little while longer. Over. Delede? Delede?" Sar looks back at the rest of them and says, "Double-time." With that, he's sprinting toward the end of the hallway.

"Anyone wounded, please sing out," Maeve Zavir obligingly calls from where she's just now rising to her feet again. The poor, single, last living stormtrooper gets a sympathetic look just before he explodes into fine mist and other not quite so pretty bits of biological matter.

Sapphira is not quite as fast as Sar. With his wiry build and his stupid long legs. It's not fair he's so tall. That's his only advantage. She'd beat him otherwise. Either way, there she goes, leaping over her cover and running fast behind the man, trying to make for the console on the bridge where she can get her nerd on.

Of course, the moment the doors open, there's the First Order's finest Naval officers, hands up and backing away from the sounds of battle that had ricocheted along the hallway. Sapphira seems almost as surprised to see them as they are to see her. "Uhhhh, don't move!" She yells, pointing her gun around randomly. She looks to a rando. "Where's the main computer?" But he just sprints past her. She tries again. Another. "Okay, fine," the redhead grumbles, moving into the bridge and making her way to what looks like the main computer.

Sabella Lockheart likes her little wall hole, it managed to keep her alive thank you, she has a burn across a arm but hey she'll deal with that later thank you. A faint peek is sent towards Sar once he is qustioning over the coms and she frowns a moment. She is pushing away from the wall. "I'm fine." Is offered once hearing Maeve and she glances after Sapphira and is then following after towards the bridge. "Just don't shoot any of the computers." Is said just loud enough to be heard hopfully as she moves to the side while someone runs out the door and down he hall it seems before the restof them get there.

Dosk remains in cover with Lofty. 'Turkey peaking' every so often as the shots fly until he sees the last Stormtrooper fall and Sar's command to double time. The Codru'Ji then standing and moving up to follow those heading forward into the ship. Radioing to his droid to verify his own ship is still clear in the meantime. As they breach the bridge, he moves forth with Sapphira, pointing his pistol at the bridge crew as well "You move, you die" he states.

Lofty barges into that bridge like a giant snowball with a rifle. The Talz warbles "WE PIRATES" in his pidgin Basic and sweeps his rifle's barrel around the place menacingly.

Rey is quick to come out from cover after the Colonel decimated that poor Stormtrooper... she certainly had feelings about those kinds of things, but they were feelings she had to push out of her mind, its not as though she hadn't killed in the heat of the moment as well, but that didn't mean she had to enjoy doing it... ever.

"I'm fine!" Rey says hastily as she rushes down the corridor after Sapphira and into where the command crew is located. Rey's blaster pistol is kept up and ready. She looks around at the faces of the enemies leadership on this vessel.

"Leia Organa, where is she?" Rey asks them, wanting to see their facial reactions.

Stepping onto the bridge is Colonel Yavok, sliding out of his helmet and looking the poor bridge crew over. He holds a hand up toward Rey and shakes his head. "Y'all forget what she just asked you and I'll let you get to the escape pods before this hunk of junk goes up, alright?"

Several of them nod in agreement before the ship is rocked by a sizable explosion. "Get," he instructs the crew, before looking over at Sapphira, "You and Sabella get to work. Fast."

Mindful of the bridge crew that appears to be doing the smart thing (which is exit - stage left - best speed), Maeve Zavir joins the rest of the team on the bridge and stays out of the way as Sapphira moves toward one of the big computer terminals. Recognizing the look of an expert when she sees one hard at work, and knowing well enough to stay out of the way, Maeve Zavir starts to make a cautious tour of the bridge when the ship suddenly bucks and rocks like some sort of rodeo animal leaping into a sporting ring. "What in the name of logic?" the doctor wonders as she braces one hand on the back of the nearest chair, fingers curving hard enough to dimple the faux leather surface. "Are we crashing? I wasn't driving, I mean piloting, so if this thing crashes it's not my fault."

Sapphira seems to have gotten her 'sea legs' underneath her. The ship lurches one way in the initial reaction the blow of the engines, but then begins to tilt in the opposite. That might explain why Sapphira goes sliding by on the hard metal floor on her knees, pants hissing against the friction as she passes different terminals. "Ayak!" Sapphira yelps, grabbing the console in front of her to bring herself to a stop. "Too far, too far...." Once she's righted herself, her fingers begin to fly over the controls. Flashy lights. Little noises as programs open and closed. Her head moves from one side to the other, reading reading reading. Thank goodness she went to Uni, amirite? "Daddio," she announces. "We're good to go, let's get gone." Sapphira announces. They got what they came for.

Lofty was getting thirsty from all of this running and firing blaster guns. He takes a can of fizzy soda pop from his bandolier and opens it with a claw, everyone hearing the typical CHUNK of metal and then the refreshing SSSSSSSSSSS. He delicately raises it to his boopsnoot to sip. Then the ship rocks violently with a BADUUUUUUUM-SHHHH as the engines go. The soda pop goes all over the durasteel floor. "Oh no!"

Sar Yavok sucks his teeth as he has as he watches the bridge crew finish pouring out of the room. He punches a console with an armored fist and looks over to Sabella, saying, "Lockheart...seal off the bridge. Disable the escape pods and cut the life support to the rest of the ship." Turning to Rey, Sar moves toward her, a finger raised in her direction, "If you /ever/ outright just lay our next hand out to the enemy again, you're done here. Do you hear what I'm saying to you, Rey?"

Sabella Lockheart is quiet for a moment as she is messing with one of the console's and blinks as she glances to Rey and then the others, mostly the ones fleeing. Hearing Sar a faint nod is seen while she is quick to go about sealing off the bridge, then dealing with the escape pods the last part as her fingers slightly frozen for a moment before she turns the life support off with a slight swallow seen. As for Sar she is looking towards him as he goes 'after' Rey so to speak. "She didn't mean it Sar. She is concerned and the moment escaped her." While this is going on she is going about downloading anything else that may seem to be at all important.

As the announcement is made and the bridge crew starts filtering off to escape pods, Dosk lowers his pistol and darts for a console to scan and see what is going on outside the ship, perhaps what is causing the it to jold so hard as the ship causes them all to sway under another hit. Looking amidst the screen as the others work on the main computer. "Shields are off-line and engines are down here, SFC has the ship disabled. Lets get the info and back before any interruptions" He states from the nav console. Freezing as Sar flipps out about letting the enemy go. He just remains silent from that point and runs scans.

Rey's free hand comes up to push her hood off of her head after Sar tells the crew to leave, she looks shocked by this and her eyes go from one of the Officers to the other before finally settling on Sar.

With a step toward him so that she's walking along beside him, Rey speaks up. "They may -know- something." She has to say back at the Colonel. "We cannot simply let them leave, they could know where she's being held... if not here, then some place else." Her voice was calm, mostly, but she was trying to contain her emotions and that much was clear.

When the ship is rocked by an explosion, Rey stutter steps and then looks around. "I have a bad feeling about that..." She mutters softly.

And then Sar is reprimanding her? She looks back to him and shakes her head at him. "They have General Senator Princess Leia Organa Solo Skywalker--and do you honestly think they wouldn't believe we'd be here looking to get her back?!" Rey snaps back at the Colonel.

Lofty is the highest ranking enlisted on the mission. He waves his clawed finger at Rey. "No argue with ossifer on mission. We go?" He looks at Sar, blinking his four sets of eyes.

"I know kriffin' well that they know we're coming, but why don't you just go ahead and call 'em up. Tell 'em when we're gonna show up!?" He stares the young woman down. The intensity of the moment reaching a crescendo as the crew outside the door start banging against it and screaming. "Sapphira has the information we need. Now step back in line, soldier," Sar says to the young Jedi. "Han told me you were good people, and that's the /only/ reason I'm in a good mood about this whole thing."

A few moments pass, and the screams stop. Sar swallows hard and moves to grab his helmet from one of the consoles, "We're done here. Let's go."

"Delede, we're en route back to the ship. Prepare for evac. Should be quiet."

Warily observing the rest of the bridge and most especially paying curious attention to the lay out, as she's never had reason to ever even BELIEVE she'd be on one of these for any reason, Maeve Zavir stays nice and quiet as Sar and Rey exchange points of view on relevant strategy. She ambles over to one of the unused consoles and studies the screens displayed, not actually touching anything.

"I got the rear," Sapphira announces, removing her weapon as soon as she's on her feet. "Everyone go. Go go go, go now, and if you dawdle Imma smack your ass." She sidles over toward Rey, hissing quickly in the woman's ear, and then giving her a nudge to head toward the door.

Sabella Lockheart frowns as she listens to Sar, and then glances towards the door slightly at the muffled screams that she hears and she swallows once more while glancing to her hands a moment. She grabs a sort of flashdrive and tucks it into a pocket that zips up and up and is turning to leave. "If you smack me I'm going to punch you." She offers right back to Sapphira, clearly not in the mood as she sends a slight 'sorry' glance to Rey before she is opening th door to go through. She pauses though and just blinks at the crew laying on the floor that are dead and she pales rather quickly. Without a glance to the others she is moving back towards the cargo bay and the ship that brough them in on.

Dosk moves as the order is given to head back to his ship. Leaving the console and grabbing his pistol once again, just in case as he files out in the middle of the group. Fine with letting Sapphira in charge of the rear. "Hammy we're incoming" He comms to his droid, whom he left to keep an eye on the ship while they've been gone

Rey gives a look back to the Talz that is covered in drying soda water, and then she looks again to Sar before she closes her eyes and hears the whisper from Sapphira who's heading out of the room now.

Rey's eyes open again and she shakes her head softly side to side. "Thats not the way of the Jedi." She says tells whomever may still be listening. "What you did to them, its not how you react to such a situation. They have the figurehead of the Resisatance locked away somewhere... Of course they know why we're here."

And with that said the woman's hands go up and she pulls her steel blue hued hood back up over her head and makes to leave, her hands disappearing inside of her cloak.

Sar Yavok says, "Sabella's got a burn on her arm, but that's all," Sar says into his comm.

"If I could slide things around with my brain, or change somebody's mind with a wave of my hand; you know what? It may have gone different. But guess what, we ain't all special like you. Some of us just have to play the hand we're dealt. And pick up the pieces when /you/ people are done playing with the Galaxy like a toybox," Sar says, spitting vitriol.

The team makes it to the hangar without any further obstacle, except for the piles of corpses in the hallway that were climbing over each other to try and escape their certain fate.

Walking up the ramp of the Codru Dream, Sar tosses his helmet down onto the couch in the lounge and presses his hand to his comms once more, "Prepping for launch. Be right with you."

Lofty tosses his soda can. He grabs a few souvenirs and stuffs them into his bandolier, then moves back down the corridor toward the YT-2400 that Dosk flew, his rifle at the ready!

Far, far away, Ambrosia is still monitoring communications from aboard their new mothership, trying to get a sense of their aliveness and whatnot. Poor Hammy has likely been listening to(or ignoring) her muttering for the better part of an hour now.

Maeve Zavir hurries toward the hatch, following in Rey's wake and making sure to avoid the trail of fur that drifts around as Lofty moves.

Sapphira waits until everyone is out before clearing the bridge. "He means that all the Jedi are dead for a reason," she reports to Rey as she mutters on her way out. "And they're not much missed either. Scoot, now, before we go down with the ship." And with that, she'll follow along behind, keeping a weather eye open for any threats that might be coming from behind.

Dosk addresses the antsy Brig Gen in holo form hastily over comm. "Things have been hectic here, will be departing soon and give a full report thereafter."

Sabella Lockheart is quiet on the trip back to the ship to get the heck outa here, though there is one thing for certain she won't be forgetting about this little trip. Each body she passed before the others are looked at long and hard. She turned off the life support and that is going to haunt her to some degree. Once at the ship she finds a seat in the back and is going to pointedly ignore people for thet rip home unless specificly asked anything. Other words mechanic is checked out for the day, leave a message at the deep.

Dosk heads back into the Codru Dream. Holstering his pistol and removing his helmet as he makes his way to the cockpit as he preps the ship for departure, flipping on the intercom. "Heading out as soon as engines are online, standby and buckle in!" he states as his arms work in a flurry

Rey's eyes are down within her hood as she moves back into the corridor, she doesn't respond to Sar's words, but she does look over to Sabella who gets a momentary stare and a response filled with no small amount of vitriol. "I know a Rebel when I see one... and I know a -pirate- when I see one."

But her eyes look away again and she continues to walk on ahead back toward the ship, intending to board it and leave with whatever information the others have garnered, hopefully something that will prove useful. Hope is all Rey has at the moment of getting Leia back.

Lofty grabs some things on his retreat back to the ship, then up the ramp he goes, and he squeezes himself back into the YT-2400's top-side turret, powering up the gun. He says over the intercom to Dosk, "Gunner Ready!"

Having acquired that which they came to find, the plucky Rebels, and the Dread Pirate Sar take to the skies once more, the YT-2400 boosting out of the hangar at breakneck speed!
